『 Cupping their cheek 』
Tumblr media Tumblr media
☼ synopsis: Soft fluff blurbs of how they react to you cupping their cheeks out of nowhere.
☼ characters: various jjk men
☼ notes: leaving you guys with something short and sweet before a liddol break 🫶
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Toji will at first grunt when you cup his cheeks and he might even roll his eyes but upon seeing the sweet smile on your face he won't pull away, eyes closed as he relaxes into the warmth your palms provide. When you trace the scar on his lips with your thumb you can feel his breath relax, allowing you to take care of him.
Gojo will smile brightly when you cup his cheeks, his hands gently resting on top of yours before he makes you squish his cheeks together just to hear your cute laugh. He will cup your cheeks right after, just looking at you with that smug expression before leaning in to kiss you.
Geto will give you the smallest "hm?" possible before relaxing into your hands, thinking you're holding his head still to remove some food from the corner of his lips or to smudge away the lipstick stain you might have left behind on his cheek but he wouldn't mind to stay in this position for a moment longer, feeling held.
Nanami will look at you with a straight face but you can see his eyes soften and his jaw unclench for once. He finds peace within your embrace however small it might be. If you smile at him or tell him to take a deep breath before confessing your love to him he will give you the most precious smile and kissing your palm while thanking you for being his anchor.
Higuruma will smile lazily when your palms touch his cheeks, his own hands cupping your face in return. "And now?" he asks amused and relishes the way you nuzzle against his broad palms before bringing your face closer so he may kiss your forehead before gently kissing your lips.
Yuuta will look at you with the begging puppy eyes, a little "yes, love?" slipping from his lips, wondering if you tried getting his attention and he didn't notice before. When you tell him you just wanted to look at his handsome face he will blush ever so slightly and chuckle, not trying to get away from your gentle hold on his face any time soon.
Choso will give you his full attention when you cup his cheeks, no matter what he was doing previously. He's looking at you like you're the center of the universe and it feels like time is slowing down around you two. His gaze can't help but flicker to your lips, hoping you'll kiss him while holding his face like this.
Sukuna will flinch away but leans back into your palm with an exaggerated huff about how you're lucky that he tolerates you. His face feels warm against your palm and one of his eyebrows remains raised, waiting for an explanation to your antics but your thumb caressing his cheek before your lips grace his are answer enough. He won't pull away for as long as your palms caress his cheeks.
Mahito will nuzzle into your hands like an over excited puppy before gently biting the flesh of your palm just underneath your thumb. "You're a foolish one to do this. But that's why I keep you around," he chuckles, teasing you about the way you willingly put yourself in danger by touching him but he would never harm his most precious human.
Yuuji will give you the big round eyes, his entire attention on you and his body visibly relaxing before leaning into one of your palms, eager for your thumb to caress his cheekbone in the way you always do. The word to describe his gaze would be love struck, utterly in love with you and craving your gentle caress as if this would be the last time he ever gets to feel your love.
Megumi will roll his eyes when you cup his cheeks and his face remains straight, emotions unreadable to you but the way he's not pulling away and his shoulders slowly slouch tells you enough. He's enjoying the moment despite not speaking up - perhaps not wanting to spoil this moment of softness.

THEIR ACT OF INTIMACY!
featuring: geto suguru. megumi fushiguro. itadori yuuji. nanami kento.
n. a sign of them being very comfortable with you. slighty suggestive in itadori’s part. PART 2 HERE :0
Tumblr media
GETO SUGURU. suguru finds it aggravating when the others try to mess up his hair, with the exception of you. after the relationship evolved, you'd sit on the bed with him after he showered and brush the large tangles out of his hair. other times, you might put it up in a bun or another style when he isn't looking. you spend that quiet time talking and enjoying one other's company.
in the quiet of your shared space, suguru sat on the edge of the bed, fresh from the shower, his damp hair a tangle of knots. you approached him with a gentle smile, brush in hand. “you know the rule," suguru said with a hint of playfulness, though his eyes softened at the sight of you. “i know, i know," you replied, taking a seat beside him. "this is a condition comes with me being your girlfriend. i got to brush your hair and you get to play mine.”
as you carefully detangled his hair, the room filled with the sound of your voices, sharing stories and laughter. with each stroke of the brush, suguru felt a sense of calm wash over him, grateful for this quiet moment with you.
once his hair was finally smooth and manageable, you surprised him by styling it into a loose bun, eliciting a surprised gasp from suguru as he caught sight of his reflection. “you did it again, didn't you?" he said, pretending to scold you, though his eyes twinkled with affection. you simply smiled and leaned in to press a soft kiss to his cheek. "i can't help it. i love making you look even more handsome."
Tumblr media
ITADORI YUUJI. itadori enjoys lying and lounging about naked together. it feels like complete vulnerability, with no walls between you, resyncing your relationship as you melt into each other's body. he has a habit of writing something on your skin as a game in which you have to guess what he wrote down. other times, he simply likes to nap in the afternoon while you tell him a story in bed.
lounging comfortably in your bed, naked and unguarded, itadori traced lazy patterns on your skin with his touch sending shivers down your spine. "guess what i wrote this time," he whispered, his finger leaving a trail of invisible words on your back. you chuckled softly, leaning into his touch. "hmm, let me think..."
as you concentrated, trying to decipher his secret message, itadori pressed a kiss to your shoulder, his warmth enveloping you entirely. then finally, you ventured a guess, feeling his smile against your skin as you spoke the words aloud.
"wrong," he teased, his laughter mingling with yours. “you gotta get it right next time, babe. or else i’ll bite your thighs again.”
with each lighthearted round of the game, the barriers between you appeared to dissolve, leaving only the raw, unfiltered connection to be felt.
Tumblr media
MEGUMI FUSHIGURO. megumi has a difficult time opening up to others, and you were the one who showed him that it is acceptable to talk about what he feels together. you understood that him speaking meaningful words in a serious manner to you puts a toll on his ego; not that he doesn’t care, he just wasn't used to it. what surprises you is how effortlessly he drops those words only in the spur of the moment, as if he hasn't been fighting to say them all along. he also brings up topics you've already discussed and gives every single penny of thought to conversations that deepen feelings between the both of you.
in the quiet of the evening, megumi sat beside you, his expression guarded as always. you both were doing your homework together and then, in a moment that took you by surprise, he spoke, his words flowing effortlessly.
"i care about you," he said softly, his eyes meeting yours with a depth of emotion that took your breath away. "more than i can put into words."
"why so suddenly?" you asked, surprised by the unexpected confession. the man paused, his expression earnest as he searched for the right words. "i.. just feel you need to hear them from me." he replied, his voice gentle yet resolute. “sorry..”
you could feel your heart swelling with emotion, touched by the sincerity in his words. "thank you, i care about you too, ‘gumi” you whispered, feeling the weight of his feelings enveloping you like a warm embrace. "i like it when you talk about what you're feeling, you know.” you said gently, reaching out to brush a stray lock of hair from his face.
you knew that megumi's words had transcended the barriers he had once struggled to break through. and as you leaned in to press a tender kiss to his lips, you realized that sometimes, the most meaningful words are the ones spoken from the heart, even if they come unexpectedly.
Tumblr media
NANAMI KENTO. nanami believes there is nothing better than a massage after a long and tiring day. he believes that the best massages are those that he earns without having to ask for them; you just knew he needed one and vice versa.
nanami trudged through the door, weary from the demands of the day. you greeted him with a warm smile, sensing the weight on his shoulders without a word spoken. "rough day?" you asked, already moving towards him with a knowing look. nanami nodded, sinking into their embrace. "you have no idea."
without hesitation, you guided him to the couch and began to knead away the tension that had settled in his muscles. "this is exactly what i needed," the man sighed, feeling the knots slowly unraveling beneath your touch.
you smiled softly, your fingers working with practiced ease. "i could tell. you always carry so much on your shoulders."
as the stress of the day melted away, he found himself falling even more deeply in love with the one who cared for him so effortlessly.

tw: implied abuse, no curses au
"Can I ask a question?" Yuuji digs his heel into the wood chips as he swings, digging a growing trench behind him. "You don't have to answer."
Ash falls from the end of Choso's cigarette. He leans against the anchor of the swing set, cheek against cold metal, and sighs. Twilight has passed and the streetlights have turned on, giving the playground a hazy, barely lit glow. Yuuji's guardian will start calling soon, but Choso decides the extra time together is worth the future ire.
"I already told you that I'm not giving you a tattoo."
"Aw, damn-" Yuuji clicks his tongue against his teeth. Ever since they met, he's been dying for a tattoo of his own, throwing out wild new ideas almost every day. One day, when he's eighteen and likes an idea for more than a month, Choso will bring him to his studio and comply.
But, not yet.
"That wasn't my question though," Yuuji says.
"Then go for it."
The younger boy takes a deep breath, then lets it out even slower, pulling the tension longer and longer until it snaps.
"Why weren't you... around? Like, when I was a kid and stuff."
Choso takes his own breath.
"Your mom-- our mom." The taste of that sits bitter on his tongue. He never called her mom, even back then. "She was different for me."
And for our other brothers, he adds silently. Yuuji doesn't need to carry that weight yet, the knowledge that he was the exception to it all.
"Why?" Yuuji pumps his legs a little softer, the back and forth motion of the swing slowly dying out.
"I dunno." Choso wishes he had the answer to that. "She was sixteen, did bad things. Don't worry about it."
Finding out about Yuuji wasn't a shock, somehow. Years after Ken had surrendered her children to the state, Choso had received noticed that she had died. The news felt overdue. No tears were shed, no love lost; the group chat of siblings had all agreed not to go to any service, but the day of, Choso had changed his mind.
He had put on his nicest outfit -some thrift store pants that didn't fit and a shirt he stole from foster dad three- and went expecting to be the only one there, the only one willing to say goodbye.
Choso hadn't known about her new family. They hadn't known about him either. It was typical of Ken to leave a mess in her wake.
Turns out, through a series of lucky breaks, the woman had clawed her way out of poverty and into the arms of a rich, but nice man. Her life was easy and sweet, filled with luxuries and love, including a son ten years younger than her eldest.
No one knows why Yuuji was different than the others, why she decided to be good to him and no one else. Mental illness is strange like that, picking and choosing how it pleases.
Yuuji huffs, gripping the metal chains tighter. "But-"
"Yuuji." Choso drops his cigarette and crushes it under his boot. Then, he thinks about the child that will play there tomorrow, shoveling wood chips into their mouths like idiots, and decides to pick it up. He jams it into his pocket. "You have good memories of her. Don't ruin that."
He used to resent how much Yuuji loved her. He was eight when she died, the same age Choso was when he first had to dial 911 for her. That anger had long faded, replaced with a strange amount of pity.
"But I want to know. What she did and stuff." Yuuji's voice jumps high with emotion. "I'm basically an adult, I can handle it."
"You're sixteen."
"Well, mom was doing this stuff at sixteen, so-" Yuuji is seething suddenly, brow furrowed and teeth grit.
"So?"
"So, she was old enough to be doing bad things and I'm not old enough to know about it?" He stands and the swing clatters behind him. He's stocky, yet tall, bunched with muscles that he's built from baseball. On one side of his cheek, there's a bit of chocolate stuck there, a remnant from the ice cream Choso bought him. Below it, there's a rosy hickey on his neck, a remnant of the boyfriend he hasn't told Nanami about yet. He thinks they're having sex, maybe, but doesn't know how to broach the topic without scaring his brother into never talking about it again.
"And you had tattoos at my age, by the way!"
Choso lets him stew in it, huffing and puffing. The blown out edges of first tattoo peek from under his sleeve, the image barely legible now. An older woman gave it to him at fifteen, in the basement of her house. It became so insanely infected that he ended up in the ER a couple days later.
"I'm not a kid. I can handle it." Yuuji states, calm and clear. "I'm not a kid."
A car passes, it's headlights stretching and pulling the shadows across the park. In the changes, Choso can see his mother in his brother, those soft eyes and thin lips and the same slightly crooked nose that Choso has himself. He thinks, maybe, if time was kinder and his father was better, they'd look more alike each other, but then the moment is gone and they no longer even look like siblings.
"Okay."
Yuuji untenses a bit. "Okay?"
"Okay."
"Like, okay, this conversation is done, or okay, I'll tell you?"
"I'll tell you," Choso says, jamming his hands in his pocket. The cigarette butt is there, mushed and still warm against his knuckles. "But not tonight."
"What?!"
"Next time, I promise."
Choso doesn't understand why Yuuji insists on rushing away from innocence, but he knows that he can't stop him. Yuuji will find out about the abuse, the neglect, the other brothers, and the other horrors in some way or another and then things will never be the same.
"Stay a kid just a little longer." Choso resists the urge to ruffle his hair. "For me?"
"Yeah, sure," Yuuji sighs. "One more day."

THAT WAY + JUJUTSU KAISEN
friends don't look at friends that way feat. itadori yuuji, gojo satoru, geto suguru, nanami kento
info: friends to lovers with itadori is what i want. itadori is aged up (adult); not proofread
Tumblr media
itadori didn't know when his feelings for you became something more. he always loved you, he always felt the need to protect and care for you, but somewhere along the many years you two spent together, the line between friendship and romance started to blurry. he would never make a move on you, no matter how much nobara and fushiguro told him to – he would still act kindly and lovingly when he interacted with you, though. he would hold your things, open doors for you, let you hold his arm and hug him, anything to make you happy. even if you ended up dating someone else, his eyes would always be on you, shining softly with care and the sweetest puppy love anyone could get.
gojo always loved you. when it comes to him, there isn't a matter of when his feelings stopped being platonic, he just always had them. he couldn't even hide it from you too, satoru would often behave as if he was your boyfriend, giggling to himself even if you denied his claims. he loves to be close to you, go out and have sweets together makes him feel at peace. his blue eyes that are always shining look for you in the crowds, hoping that he would run into you so he gets to spend more time next to you. unlike yuuji, gojo would make his feelings obvious, but he would also never pressure you into actially becoming his partner. he is content with just being your friend. he can't risk losing the only other person that he loved.
geto have a hard time dealing with his emotions, but it's something he tries to keep to himself. but you, he feels like telling you everything and anything. and that's when he realizes he sees you as more than a friend. once he realizes that, he would suddenly pull away from you, cutting the friendship as he hopes it cuts his growing feelings too – it doesn't work; he still finds himself looking for you next to him and thinking about you (even more now). if you try to approach him again, he would feel like spilling everything to you, about his feelings and how he can't stand when you're too close to other guys, about how he wants to belong to you. but he just stays quiet. you accepted him back into your life and he is happy with it.
nanami saw his feelings for you grow slowly, but it never affected him as much as it should. he managed to keep his feelings under control for a really long time, but when he noticed you were making sacrifices for him, he couldn't hold back anymore. kento would shower you with gifts and anything you could want; when you two went out together, he would pay for everything, even going as far as secretly paying so you wouldn't have time to do so. if you confront him about it, he wouldn't be ashamed of just spilling his feelings for you. if you accept him or not, it's up to you, but he wouldn't leave you even if you reject him. you became someone too important, even if he's terrified of that.

Because of the jjk exhibition and new interview questions with Gege there's been a lot of discourse, specifically about how things ended with Nobara and Gojo.
From what the exhibition attendees can best recall (as recordings inside were banned), Gege stated that he doesn't really want to kill off a character if he knows it won't emotionally affect the readers and a bunch of people are reacting poorly to it. But honestly, I don't really disagree with him. The purpose of deaths in most media to pull an emotional reaction from the consumers! You want your readers to feel emotionally tied and affected by that loss! If you kill a character just to kill someone, that's when it's purposeless and pointless.
I think some people are taking this way too literally and interpreting it as "gege kills for shock value" which does NOT equate to what he was saying, in my opinion. Every death has some impact on the characters, the plot, or the underlying meaning of the narrative.
Nanami's death is the most understandable of all of these. As a mentor figure, he was already at risk just because of tropes of the genre and storytelling in general. His death provided motivation for Yuuji and gave us a strong feeling of loss and a desperation to see Mahito brought to justice. He was also a full grown adult so his death was less of a shocking tragedy and more of a painful loss. I don't think there's many people who who debate this.
Now let's get to Nobara. I might be in the minority here, but I believe her death did mean something! Jjk has always discussed themes of throwing kids into situations they aren't fully equipped for and how their youth and lives have been taken away from them out of a sense of duty. Nobara's death is exactly meant to lean into this. She didn't have to die and she shouldn't have died. She was young and made a grave mistake when she shouldn't have gone out by herself! Nanami told her to stay behind because he knew she would be at a heavy risk of injury or death, but because of the culture around her Nobara went anyway. She wanted to help and wanted to be useful. There's a sort of toxic glory in jujutsu society where the strong are held up and revered while also being used recklessly. Nobara shouldn't have died, the same way Haibara and Riko shouldn't have died, but they did. That's the tragedy of it, and jjk is a tragedy and always has been. It was meant to evoke anger and pain, a desire to ensure that something like this doesn't happen again.
Gojo's death is the most complicated. It's the most convoluted and shocking, but I can see what gege was trying to do with it. Gojo is the strongest, but he worked alone and was used to working alone. No one can keep up with him and would just get in his way, so he was somewhat forced to fight Sukuna alone. I believe that the intention behind his loss was to show that even the most powerful can fall, especially when they have no one else they can rely on. The students all have each other. They are meant to be the change to the culture around them, working together to defeat Sukuna and bring about change. We even see this when Yuuta in Gojo's body relies on Inumaki! He's in the body of the strongest, but he wasn't going in alone. That's the difference.
Jjk has shown over and over again the tragedy of the world and hasn't shied away from the reality of loss, grief, and how unfair the world can be. That's the point of all of these horrible things, to show that unfairness. But I don't believe it will end that way! What's the point in showing how sad and nihilistic things are if it doesn't also show hope? I'm certain jjk will have a hopeful, victorious ending but those things come at a cost. That's what I believe gege's intention is.

‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾ Chapter 14 ☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙
Yaga led Gojo into his office, the door closing behind them with a soft click. The room was dimly lit, the afternoon sun casting long shadows across the walls. Yaga gestured for Gojo to sit down, then pulled his chair around to sit directly across from him. He leaned forward, his elbows resting on his thighs and his hands clasped in front of him. His expression was a mix of concern and frustration.
"Sit," Yaga said quietly, his tone firm but not unkind.
Gojo sat down, his usual confident demeanor subdued. He avoided Yaga's gaze, staring instead at a spot on the floor.
Yaga sighed deeply, the weight of the situation heavy on his shoulders, "What on earth is going on, Satoru? What are you thinking?"
Gojo remained silent, his jaw clenched. He couldn't bring himself to meet Yaga's eyes.
Yaga took off his sunglasses, something he rarely did, and leaned in closer, "Look at me, Satoru."
Reluctantly, Gojo lifted his eyes to meet Yaga's. The concern and worry in Yaga's gaze were palpable, and it struck a chord deep within him.
"I'm worried about you," Yaga said, his voice softening, "I'm worried that you're losing control of yourself. You're losing everything that made you who you are and you're becoming the monster people believe you to be."
Gojo's eyes flickered with a mix of emotions—anger, shame, and a deep-seated sadness. He took a shaky breath, trying to find the words to explain the chaos inside his mind.
"I... I don't know what I'm even doing," Gojo finally admitted, his voice barely above a whisper, "Everything feels like it's falling apart. Sarah, the family, me... everything."
Yaga nodded, listening intently. He paused for a beat before he said, "You've been through a lot, Satoru. But this... this isn't the way to handle it."
Gojo's hands tightened into fists, his frustration bubbling to the surface. He shouted, "Then what the fuck am I supposed to do, Yaga? Just sit back and let them win? Let them take everything from me?"
"No," Yaga said firmly, "But letting your anger control you and burying your feelings by getting high isn't right. You're better than this. You have people who care about you, who are willing to help you if you let them."
Gojo's gaze dropped again, his shoulders slumping. The weight of Yaga's words was heavy, and he couldn't deny the truth in them.
"I just... I don't know how to fix this," Gojo admitted, his voice cracking, "I don't know how to make things right."
Yaga reached out, placing a hand on Gojo's shoulder. "You start by taking a step back. By letting us help you. We can figure this out together, but you need to let us in. You need to trust us."
Gojo looked up, meeting Yaga's eyes once more. There was a glimmer of hope in the older man's gaze, a promise that he wasn't alone in this.
"Okay," Gojo said, his voice steadier. "I'll try."
Yaga gave a small, reassuring smile. "That's all I'm asking for. One step at a time, Satoru. We'll get through this together." Yaga let the heavy silence settle between them before speaking again. "Satoru, I think it would be best if you took some time away from Tenjiku. You need to clear your head, get some perspective," he suggested gently.
Gojo looked up at Yaga, a mixture of relief and uncertainty in his eyes. He opened his mouth to respond, but Yaga held up a hand, stopping him.
"Before you say anything," Yaga continued, "I need you to be honest with me. Do you truly believe you love Sarah?"
Gojo swallowed hard, his throat tight. He looked up at Yaga, his hands wringing in his lap. "I do. I've loved her ever since I was a kid. She was the only woman who ever treated me like a human, not like a monster or some kind of god," his voice cracked, and his voice stammered as he continued, "I know I messed up. I know I don't deserve her, but I know I love her. I don't know why I can't do right by her."
Yaga hesitated, choosing his next words carefully,  "Satoru, do you know what happened that day when Sarah was forced to undergo the ritual?"
Gojo's face contorted with pain, and he finally let the tears fall. "I don't remember because..." he admitted, his voice breaking, "I was drugged. I didn't want to believe it for a long time, but I was drugged because my family knew I wouldn't let them feed Sarah Sukuna's fingers if I was lucid."
The confession hung heavy in the air, the raw truth of it nearly unbearable. Yaga moved closer, placing a comforting hand on Gojo's shoulder.
"I had a feeling," Yaga said softly, "You were manipulated, and that manipulation has had consequences far beyond what anyone could have anticipated."
Gojo wiped his eyes with his forearm, trying to compose himself, "But what do I do now? How do I fix this?"
Yaga sighed, thinking carefully. "First, you need to take care of yourself. No more drowning yourself. No more sneaking in to see her. Stay away from your vices. Then, when you're ready, you need to have an honest conversation with Sarah. She deserves to know the truth."
Gojo nodded slowly, the weight of Yaga's words settling in. He sniffled a little, trying to catch his breath. Yaga gave a small, encouraging smile. "One step at a time, Satoru. We'll get through this together."
Gojo took a deep breath, "Alright. I'll... I'll try."
Yaga squeezed his shoulder gently. "You're not alone in this, Satoru. Remember that."
━─┉┈◈❖◈┈┉─━
The air in Shinjuku was thick with tension as the two groups stood opposite each other. Yaga, Geto, Gojo, and Nanami faced off against Naobito Zen'in, Jinichi, Ogi, and Megumi. The neutral ground they stood on felt anything but neutral, the weight of their histories and grievances palpable in the space between them.
Yaga stepped forward, his expression composed but serious. "Naobito, I regret that the situation has gone this far already, but I must address the matter that has fueled this conflict."
Naobito's eyes narrowed slightly, but he remained silent, waiting for Yaga to continue.
Yaga took a deep breath and asked plainly, "Did Toji kill Fumiya on purpose?"
Naobito's gaze remained on Yaga's and there was a long tense pause. Finally, he grinned and a loud barking laugh echoed through the streets. He leaned forward, "Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. But if it were me? I'd be after my pound of flesh."
Gojo and Geto gritted their teeth, taking a step forward only for Nanami to hold his hands up to stop them. Yaga didn't look back, still holding himself high and keeping his expression calm. He nodded once before he spoke once again.
"I see," Yaga said while slipping his hands into his pockets, "Then we have no choice."
Both groups parted, and just like that everything changed overnight.
In the neon-soaked alleys of Shinjuku, tension hung in the air like the heavy smog of the city. The Yaga group and the Zen'in group eyed each other from across the streets. At first, it was just heated words, exchanges of threats in dimly lit corners. The standoffs were frequent, and every encounter seemed to tighten the invisible noose.
The first punch was thrown in the heart of Kabukicho, a district known for its labyrinthine streets and flickering neon signs. A Zen'in thug shoved a Yaga member, the shove turned into a punch, and the punch ignited a wildfire of violence. Fists flew, and the air was filled with the sound of flesh meeting flesh, of grunts and curses. The skirmish was brutal but short, leaving both sides retreating to lick their wounds and plot their next moves.
But that first taste of violence was a harbinger of worse to come. Blood was drawn on a rain-soaked night outside a smoky bar. A knife glinted in the dim light, and then it was buried in the side of a Yaga shatei. The crimson spray on the pavement marked a point of no return. The gangs responded in kind, blades flashing in the darkness, the violence escalating with every heartbeat.
When the first kill happened, it was under the sickly yellow glow of a street lamp. A Zen'in enforcer was found with his throat slit, the work of a skilled hand. The city held its breath as the news spread through the underworld like wildfire. The Yaga group knew they had crossed the line again, and so did the Zen'in. The retribution was swift and merciless.
The sorcery began in earnest. Dark energies crackled through the air as curses were summoned and unleashed. Shadows moved with unnatural speed, and screams echoed through the night. The battles were no longer just physical; they were waged with ancient powers that turned the streets into a battleground of supernatural horrors.
A quiet night would suddenly erupt into chaos as sorcerers clashed, their powers ripping through the cityscape. Buildings shuddered under the force of curses, and the air buzzed with raw energy. The lights  flickered in the aftermath, casting long, twisted shadows over the carnage.
Yaga's group fought with a grim resolve. They were forced into a war they never wanted, but ready to fight for their territory and their people. The Zen'in, ruthless and unyielding, pushed back with all their might, their own sorcerers unleashing hellish fury.
As the violence escalated, the once-bustling streets of Shinjuku became a warzone, each side vying for dominance, each clash more brutal than the last. And amidst the chaos, the true cost of their conflict became painfully clear: a city caught in the crossfire, lives shattered by the unrelenting cycle of revenge, and a fragile peace that seemed more elusive with every drop of blood spilled.
In this dark and twisted version of Shinjuku, the lines between right and wrong blurred, and the only law that remained was the law of survival. And as the war raged on, it was anyone's guess who would be left standing when the smoke finally cleared.
Yaga sat at his desk, his mind heavy with the weight of the current situation. His office was silent, a stark contrast to the chaos outside. He leaned back in his chair, staring at the ceiling as memories of the gang war from twelve years ago flooded his mind. The brutal violence, the senseless loss of life, and the deep scars it had left on both sides.
He had promised himself that if he ever became leader, he would focus on maintaining neutrality between the groups, avoiding the bloodshed that had plagued their past. But now, as he faced the reality of the situation, he couldn't help but feel a profound sense of disappointment.
He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath to steady himself. The responsibility of leadership was a heavy burden, one that demanded difficult decisions and sacrifices. He knew that the path to peace was never straightforward, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he had failed in his mission.
Yaga opened his eyes and straightened up in his chair. He couldn't afford to dwell on the past. There was work to be done, strategies to be devised, and alliances to be mended. The future of their family depended on it.
Meanwhile behind the thick, black-out curtains of his penthouse suite, Gojo grappled with his own personal demons. The once-untouchable sorcerer, feared and revered in equal measure, had become a shadow of his former self. He lay in a sweating, delirious mess on his luxurious bed, the sheets tangled around him like the chains of his addiction.
Yaga's words echoed in his mind, a mantra of tough love that cut through the haze of his withdrawal. "You have to do this, Satoru. You have to take back control." Gojo had taken those words seriously. He knew he couldn't continue down the path he was on. The drugs, the alcohol—they were a crutch, a way to numb the pain and the guilt that gnawed at his soul. But they were also the chains that bound him to his own self-destruction.
Hani had offered to filter out the poisonous addictions, to ease the torment of his withdrawal with his healing sorcery. But Gojo refused. He knew that if he didn't face the full brunt of his addiction, if he didn't do his time, he would never truly get clean. So, he locked himself away, cut off from the world outside, and let the hell of withdrawal take hold.
The hours bled into days, each one an eternity of agony. His body ached, his skin burned, and his mind was a maelstrom of regret and self-loathing. He saw visions of the past, of Sarah's anguished face, of the friends and allies he had let down. The high and mighty Satoru Gojo, brought low by his own vices.
Every so often, he would hear the muffled sounds of the city below—the distant sirens, the shouts, the crashes. The world outside was a blur, disconnected from the torment he was enduring. He was alone in his suffering, each moment a test of his willpower.
Nanami and Geto were holding the line with the tenacity of seasoned warriors, their resolve unshaken despite the chaos around them. Geto, with his overwhelming power, could have turned the tide of the conflict with a mere flick of his wrist. Yet, he chose restraint. Yaga's insistence on minimizing bloodshed rang in his ears like a solemn vow. He respected Yaga's wisdom and believed in the possibility of a less violent resolution, even if it seemed increasingly distant.
Geto's strength was undeniable. His ability to command cursed spirits and his strategic mind made him a formidable opponent. But he wielded his power with precision, engaging only when absolutely necessary, neutralizing threats without resorting to lethal force. He moved like a ghost through the battlefield, a shadow that struck fear into the Zen'in without leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. Every confrontation was a delicate dance, evidence of his control and commitment to Yaga's vision.
Nanami, on the other hand, was a man of pragmatism and relentless determination. He was the linchpin in their efforts to uncover the mystery of Q.N. and the drug manufacturing. His days were a blur of investigative work, piecing together fragments of information, following leads, and cross-referencing data. The homeopathic pharmaceutical manufacturing facility they had infiltrated in Malaysia had provided a trove of clues, but it was like untangling a web of shadows.
The Queen of the Night, or Q.N., was proving to be a particularly elusive enigma. The documents Rin had found hinted at something deeper, something more insidious than they had initially suspected. Nanami's mind worked tirelessly, sifting through the layers of deception and misdirection. He knew that if they could uncover the truth behind Q.N., they might find the leverage needed to bring about a ceasefire or even dismantle the Zen'in's operations from within.
There were moments of grim humor shared between Nanami and Geto, a brief respite from the relentless tension. They both understood the weight of their roles, the thin line they walked between maintaining order and descending into chaos. They communicated through nods and glances, a silent understanding forged through years of camaraderie and shared battles.
In the main lounge, Nanami and Geto sat in a rare moment of reprieve. The room was dimly lit, the low hum of the air conditioning the only sound breaking the silence. Geto leaned back, his feet propped on the table, a cigarette dangling lazily from his mouth. His eyes were closed, taking in the rare tranquility. Nanami, equally worn out, had a cold washcloth draped over his forehead, his posture mirroring Geto’s in its relaxed sprawl.
The silence between them was heavy but comfortable, each man lost in his own thoughts. After what felt like an eternity, Nanami broke the stillness, his voice a quiet murmur. “How’s Gojo doing?”
Geto opened his eyes slightly, exhaling a slow plume of smoke. “Haven’t had the time to check,” he admitted, a hint of regret in his tone. The ongoing conflicts and his own duties had kept him too occupied to visit their troubled friend.
Nanami sighed, shifting the washcloth on his forehead. “I need to ask him about some of the things Rin and I found,” he said, his mind already drifting back to the complexities of their investigation.
At the mention of Rin, Geto’s fists clenched imperceptibly, a flicker of irritation passing through him. The casual way Nanami said her name grated on him, though he knew it shouldn’t. He never expected that Rin would move on from him, especially not with someone like Nanami.
“I’ll make time to see him,” Geto said finally, his voice steady, “We need him in a better state if we’re going to make any headway with the Zen'in anyway.”
Another silence fell between them, but it was less heavy this time, each man drawing some measure of comfort from the other’s presence. They were comrades in arms, bound by their shared struggles and the unspoken understanding that they were fighting for something greater than themselves.
Geto took another drag from his cigarette, letting the smoke curl lazily upward. “We’ll get through this, Nanami. Like last time.”
Nanami removed the washcloth from his forehead, sitting up a bit straighter. “I know we will,” he replied, a steely resolve in his voice. “We have to.”
Yaga entered the room, waving for them both to remain seated. He settled onto the couch with a deep sigh, rubbing his temples. The tension in the room was palpable, the weight of their collective burdens heavy in the air.
“How are you both holding up?” Yaga asked quietly, his eyes scanning their weary faces.
Nanami was the first to respond, his frustration evident. “I’m frustrated with Gojo. All of this... it’s because of him," he gritted.
Geto’s eyes snapped open, and he quickly came to his best friend’s defense. “Satoru has had it hard under his parents’ thumb, always under scrutiny to be the strongest. You can’t understand the pressure he’s been under," he said, sitting up.
Nanami’s expression hardened. “All of that happened when he was young, Geto. Gojo is an adult now. At some point, you can’t blame your past for everything. You have to take responsibility for who you've chosen to be.”
The room fell silent as the weight of Nanami’s words hung in the air. Geto clenched his jaw, his fists tightening. He knew there was truth in Nanami’s words, but his loyalty to Gojo was unwavering.
Yaga watched the exchange, his gaze shifting between the two men. “You’re both right,” he said finally, his voice calm but firm, “Gojo has had a difficult past, and that’s shaped who he is. But Nanami is also right. At some point, you have to take responsibility for your actions and make a change.”
Geto looked away, his expression conflicted. He knew Yaga was right, but it was hard to reconcile that with his deep-seated loyalty to Gojo. “I don’t want to see him spiral any further,” he admitted quietly, “He’s been through enough.”
Nanami sighed, his anger giving way to a more subdued frustration, “None of us want that. But he has to want to change for it to mean anything.”
Yaga nodded, his expression thoughtful, “We need to support him, but we also need to hold him accountable.”
"What are you suggesting?" Nanami asked, "Should we try to get him into rehab if he messes up again?"
"I doubt that rehab would be able to hold him," Geto sighed, pulling out his bun and brushing his fingers through his hair, "I don't like to suggest this but perhaps we could ask-"
"No," Yaga cut him off, "Not Sarah. He needs to stay away from her. He cannot be allowed to see her again until he's clean."
"But," Geto protested, "He listens to her and she could-"
Yaga shook his head, "No. He can't control himself when he's with her." He leaned forward and looked at Geto over his sunglasses, "Do not encourage that behavior, Suguru."
"But, Sir I-"
"Suguru, if you aid him in meeting or communicating with her in any way I will have you severely punished," Yaga said firmly, "This is not something I'm going to allow to go on any longer."
Geto opened his mouth to protest again, but Yaga's expression quickly silenced him. Nanami nodded in agreement, "Yes, I think this is the best option for them both."
━─┉┈◈❖◈┈┉─━
The hallway leading to Gojo’s room was eerily quiet, the tension building with each step Nanami, Geto, and Yaga took. The air felt thick, as if the weight of their concerns had settled into the very walls around them. As they reached the door, Yaga took a deep breath and knocked softly before pushing it open.
Inside, the room was dimly lit, the curtains drawn tight against the midday sun. They could see a lump under the sheets on the bed, motionless and silent. The room smelled faintly of sweat and the lingering remnants of old smoke.
“Gojo?” Yaga called gently, stepping inside with Nanami and Geto close behind. “We’re here to check on you.”
Nanami and Geto exchanged worried glances as they moved closer to the bed. The lump under the sheets didn’t stir, and a sense of unease began to gnaw at them. Yaga kept his voice calm and encouraging. “We know this is hard, but we’re here for you. You don’t have to go through this alone.”
Geto, his brows furrowed in concern, took a step closer. Something didn’t feel right. The lump was too still, too lifeless. His heart began to race as he reached out and grabbed the edge of the sheets, pulling them away in one swift motion.
The bed was empty.
Nanami’s eyes widened in shock, and Yaga’s face darkened with immediate realization. “He’s gone,” Geto muttered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Yaga’s expression hardened. “We need to find him. Now.”
Without another word, they sprang into action. Nanami quickly searched the adjacent bathroom and closet, finding no trace of Gojo. Geto darted to the window, throwing the curtains open and checking the fire escape. It was clear.
“He can’t have gone far,” Nanami said, his voice tight with urgency.
Yaga nodded, his mind racing. “Check the usual spots. The roof, the garden, anywhere he might go to be alone.”
They split up, each heading in a different direction. Yaga stormed down the hall, his footsteps echoing in the silence as he made his way to the garden. He knew Gojo’s penchant for finding secluded places to think, and the garden had always been a favorite.
Nanami took the stairs two at a time, heading for the roof. He remembered the times Gojo had sought solace in the open air, away from the confines of the building. As he burst through the door onto the rooftop, he scanned the area quickly. Empty.
Geto moved with purpose, his mind replaying every conversation he’d had with Gojo recently, searching for clues. He headed for the gym, the place where Gojo had often taken out his frustrations in a physical form. As he reached the door, he paused, listening for any sounds from within.
Nothing.
Minutes felt like hours as they scoured the building, each passing moment heightening their worry. Finally, they reconvened in the main hall, their expressions grim.
“No sign of him,” Nanami said, frustration evident in his voice.
Yaga’s face was set in a determined frown, “He’s out there somewhere. We just have to keep looking. We can’t let him spiral further.”
Geto clenched his fists, his eyes filled with a mix of fear and resolve. “We’ll find him. We have to.”
━─┉┈◈❖◈┈┉─━
Rin and Boe walked briskly down the dimly lit corridors of Tenjiku, their footsteps echoing off the walls. Their disagreement had started the moment they left the shared office.
"Banning all gang members is going too far," Boe argued, her tone exasperated, "We just need to ban the troublemakers. Most of them come here to unwind, not to start fights anyway! Let them come play."
Rin’s eyes flashed with determination, "You’re far too lenient. If we allow them to stay, even the peaceful ones, it’ll only encourage the others. We need to send a strong message so we don't accidentally take a side."
Boe rolled her eyes, "You're being paranoid. Not every gang member is out for blood. Most of them respect the neutrality of Tenjiku."
Rin sighed deeply, "And what happens when one of them doesn’t? One slip-up, and we’re in the middle of a full-blown war. I’d rather prevent that altogether."
Their argument carried them all the way to Sarah’s room. As they approached, Boe knocked on the door. “Sarah, we need to talk about—”
She trailed off when there was no response. Rin pushed the door open, and they stepped inside. The room was empty, the covers and sheets pulled down on the bed, and no sign of Sarah anywhere.
“She’s not here,” Boe said, her brow furrowing, “That’s strange.”
Rin’s eyes scanned the room, her concern growing, “Where could she be? She rarely leaves her room without telling anyone.”
The two women exchanged worried glances and then set off to search Tenjiku. They checked the atrium first, hoping to find her among the plants and tranquility she sought solace in lately. But the atrium was empty, save for a few patrons with their women.
They moved on to the rooftops, where the breeze and open sky often brought a sense of peace. But again, there was no sign of Sarah. She couldn't have gotten up there without Todo anyway.
Rin’s frustration was growing, “This is ridiculous. How could she just vanish like that?”
They rushed to find Todo, who was overseeing some maintenance work. He looked up as they approached, his expression shifting to concern when he saw their faces.
“Have you seen Sarah?” Boe asked urgently.
Todo shook his head, “No, I haven’t. I thought she was in her room.”
Rin’s worry was bordering on panic now, “How can a woman without a left arm and leg just disappear? She couldn't just walk out!”
Boe’s expression turned serious, “Do you think someone took her?”
The question hung in the air, heavy with implications. Rin’s mind raced, her eyes absently tracing the ground as she fought off the worst of her immediate thoughts. Boe seemed to be on the same page, her hands tightening into fists.
"Boe... Do you think he would--"
She was cut off by the sound of a door opening nearby. They turned to see a young staff member approaching, looking uneasy.
“Miss Rin, Miss Boe, I heard you were looking for Sarah. I think you should see this.”
They followed the staff member down another corridor to a storage room. Inside, they found a folded piece of paper on a crate. Rin picked it up and unfolded it, her eyes scanning the words quickly.
“It’s a note from Sarah,” she said, her voice trembling slightly, “She says she had to leave, but she doesn’t explain why or where she’s going.”
Boe’s face darkened with worry, “This doesn’t make sense. She can’t have gone far on her own.”
Rin’s mind was already working on the next steps, “We need to alert the others and start a search. If she’s in danger, we have to find her fast.”
Boe nodded, her expression dark and serious, “Yeah. We’ll figure this out. We have to.”
━─┉┈◈❖◈┈┉─━
The night was a blur of neon lights and shadows as Gojo stumbled through the labyrinthine streets of Shinjuku. His footsteps were unsteady, and his vision swam with the remnants of his latest binge. A half-empty bottle of liquor dangled precariously from his fingers, the glass slick with condensation. An empty baggie, once filled with cocaine, crinkled in his pocket with every unsteady step.
The city was alive with its usual chaos, but to Gojo, it was a cacophony of indistinct sounds and colors. His mind was a fog, unable to focus on any one thing for more than a fleeting moment. Faces blurred past him, voices merged into an incomprehensible din, and the world seemed to tilt on its axis. He paused to take another swig from the bottle, the liquid burning down his throat and adding to the haze.
Yet, beneath the surface of his inebriated state, there was a strange sense of purpose. His steps, though staggered, were not entirely random. He moved with a subconscious drive, his body following a path his mind couldn’t fully grasp. The streets grew quieter as he ventured deeper into the less populated parts of the city, the vibrant lights giving way to dimly lit alleys and the occasional flickering street lamp.
Gojo’s journey brought him to a secluded old motel, its once-bright sign now a dull, flickering beacon in the night. The building was a relic of a bygone era, its exterior worn and covered in graffiti. He pushed through the creaky door, the sound echoing in the empty lobby. The clerk didn’t look up, too engrossed in a worn paperback to care about the disheveled man who wandered in.
He made his way down a narrow hallway, each step feeling heavier than the last. The air was thick with the musty scent of neglect, and the walls seemed to close in around him. He stopped in front of a door, its number barely hanging on, and fumbled with the handle. After a moment of clumsy effort, he managed to push it open and stagger inside.
The room was dimly lit by a single lamp, casting long shadows across the threadbare carpet and faded wallpaper. In the corner, Sarah sat in a musty old armchair, her green eyes sharp and watchful despite the dark circles beneath them. She looked up as he entered, her expression a mix of anxiety and something darker.
“Did you get them?” she asked, her voice cutting through the fog in his mind.
Gojo nodded slowly, the motion making his head spin. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a silk bag, handing it to her with unsteady hands. Sarah took it, her expression unreadable as she examined the contents.
For a moment, there was only silence. Gojo stood there, swaying slightly, his mind a chaotic mess of thoughts and sensations. Sarah’s gaze lingered on him, a mixture of pity and something far more complex.
The room seemed to close in around them, the air thick with unspoken words and unresolved tension. Gojo’s vision blurred again, the edges of his consciousness fraying. As he slumped against the chair, sliding down to the floor with his head in her lap, Sarah’s voice was the last thing he heard before everything went black.
“We’re not done yet, Satoru. Not by a long shot.”

Spoilers for the recent JJK chapters
Assorted random thoughts on the recent chapters.
________________________
I like the confirmation of how superficial was Gojou’s bond with Nanami, I like that Gojou acknowledges it. Even if it doesn’t seem to make him realise that his loneliness was self made. It’s another moment, after Shouko’s thoughts, that shows how much Gojou really never reached out to the people around him.
________________________
I like Ino cheering on Yuuji, and generally his attitude in this fight. Honestly, Kusakabe kinda annoyed me with his bored martyrdom. Sorry not my thing.
________________________
I love Uraume and Sukuna just chilling together and Uraume being all like: remember that time we made fun of that kid together?
I like how Sukuna is so theatrically bored of the threat Yuuji might become while Uraume looks kinda wistful and concerned.
It kinda plays to their dynamic. Sukuna reassures Uraume indirectly because he knows their feelings. His yawn is like: it’s not that important, I’ll manage even that. Because he knows Uraume sees the implications and is concerned for him. It’s cute how adorable together these monsters are.
________________________
This chapter really reinforces what I suspected, that when Sukuna was trapped in Yuuji he couldn’t get any mental or emotional distance from Yuuji. He couldn’t analyse properly what Yuuji is. He needed to get out, perceive Yuuji from the outside, see where Yuuji ends and Sukuna begins to actually figure out what Yuuji is, why Yuuji could cage him. Probably relax about that a little too, Yuuji being part of his family and designed to cage him, makes having been trapped likely more digestible. More par for the course in his relationship with Kenjaku.
It also kinda humanises Sukuna, like almost everyone, he’s much more bothered by the things that affect him personally. His beef with Mother is personal, petty, stems from Kenjaku messing with him and his family. He doesn’t give a rats ass about what other atrocities Kenjaku has committed.
________________________
After what Gojou had said about the Black Flash it makes me think it’s more a vibe than an ability. He explains that there is some theoretical understanding of its mechanics but there are so many variables and unknowns. I think he and Sukuna are worse at it than Yuuji or even Nanami, because they both analyse jujutsu very precisely, they both treat it like a science and they can both perceive it very precisely, Gojou even more so than Sukuna. And it seems to me that you just need to pass a vibes check to release it. Like you need to be at a certain headspace during the fight, some combination of excitement, determination and desperation to do it. And that it’s reinforced after you land one, the vibe/zone continues for some time. That’s why it worked better with Nanami and Yuuji, who are much more in tune with their emotions than Gojou or Sukuna.
Like when Nobara and Yuuji do it at the same time, they’ve been in that fight together and they clearly reach some common rhythm, wavelength before it happens and it just flows from it.
I’m so sad that Gege took Nobara away, I’d’ve loved to see how even more in sync these two could’ve got.
Maybe now Sukuna lands it more because he's less intellectual about the whole fight, it's more chaotic and not going as smoothly as the one on ones.

(some of) the jujutsu kaisen cast as bastille songs (from 'all this bad blood')
notes!!
i love bastille sm so i thought, why not?? also there are spoilers of shibuya arc and most recent manga chapters!!!
m.list
Tumblr media
pompeii
this could pretty much be any character icl, but i feel like it's mainly yuuji?? just cos its still such a weirdly positive song for how dark the lyrics actually are. that said, it could also be gojo,, mainly just because i feel like he would be able to see the parallels between megumi, yuuji, and nobara compared to his own high school friend group, and he seems reminiscent like 89% of the time.
things we lost in the fire
nanami. JOKING... kind of. but seriously, i feel like it fits yuuji again because poor boy is going through it especially in the whole of the shibuya arc??
bad blood
idk why but i just feel like megumi would listen to bad blood? and also cos of the semantics of the lyrics!! basically it's the breakdown of a relationship, and i think it could def be applied to him and his childhood. and it could also be applied to the whole thing he has with sukuna and everything that he's done while being possessed(?),, and the deterioration of his relationship with himself.
overjoyed
this song is sosososooo angsty like?? but yeah, it fits all three gojo and geto and shoko!! it probs most applies to gojo and his feelings/emotions towards geto after his departure and the mass murdering thing he did. def a song i would sob to icl
weight of living
this fits nanami and shoko scarily well, like you can't convince me otherwise. those two with their eyebags and stuff definitelyyyy have heavier emotional baggage than they let on about their friends and death and stuff. that's ignoring that they're canonically the heaviest drinkers or wtv!!!
oblivion
oblivion is heavily implied to follow the story of a couple (whether platonic or romantic) where one is thinking about the other and the loss of them. it's vvv emotional and probs something that gojo would never listen to unless he was alone and properly in a sad mood, but it fits them scarily well imo.
get home
it fits nanami weirdly well? along with gojo (but, at this point, pretty much every song fits him lol), megumi, and yuuta i think? megumi mainly because of his lack of current ambition to continue living, and all that he's been through recently. and then yuuta fits this song in the period around rika dying?
poet
I LOVE THIS SONG SM okay, so i think it fits yuuta!!! like the period of time just after jjk0 where he sees rika for the final time and accepts her death and all that came with it. but it's definitely a more positive song, and could also acknowledge his development as he gains friends and accepts his new version of life!
what would you do
the woman being described in this kind of reminds me of toji, but i don't know if thats me being delusional about him actually trying to be a good father. the speaker would probably represent gojo, but him as a teenager as it kind of seems like a more immature pov.
skulls
this song is literally depicting a couple as they stay together, even after death so it doesn't need to be said butttt, gojo and geto for sure!! along with nanami and haibara i think too!

Geto and Yoshino parallel ramble:
Geto and Junpei parallels are so high in terms of the role they play in defining the themes and key events of the story. I feel like if Junpei survived, he would have written to be as a counter to Geto's character arc.
The biggest reason for why they remind me of each other is the way their death affects their associated main characters. Geto's departure and death transform the way Gojo sees Jujutsu society and his role in it, making him far more grounded and giving him a reason to help others who are weaker. Junpei's makes Yuuji see the dangers and unfairness of the world he's in, and how even a dignified death is something difficult to provide for people.
Geto and Junpei were both let down by the systems they were in. Geto's struggles were wholly unacknowledged by Yaga and any of the higher-ups in Jujutsu Tech. Junpei's suffering was noticed but no one did anything about it.
Fundamentally, they are both people who care for others. This is important in understanding their downfall.
Geto went to extremism because he thought he could protect people if he just tried hard enough. He understood that the strong hurt the weak, accepted it to some extent at the start and made it his mission to be the kind of strong person that would instead protect the weak. His motives are, even if simplistic and filled with issues, empathetic. Junpei says he doesn't believe that humans have hearts but its revealed that he's only led to this thinking because he can't stomach that any human being is capable of inflicting the cruelty he and his mother suffered through(also because Mahito guided him there).
They care way too much and that's what is used to break them.
Next, is how they are used by the special grade curses. Kenjaku is obvious, he's possessing Geto's body. Mahito's also pretty obvious, he used Junpei to manipulate Yuuji emotionally in order to bring forth Sukuna. In Shibuya Arc, Geto and Junpei are used to emotionally break Gojo and Yuuji(I'm not putting Nobara and Nanami here because they serve roles outside of the parallels I'm drawing between Geto and Junpei).
They are both characters who are broken by the systems that are meant to foster them, and are then used callously by curses to further chaos. I really want to know what kind of human emotion made Kenjaku, because I think it'd be something that works in an opposite yet complementary fashion to the cause of Mahito's birth; humanity's hatred for each other. I think it'd be like that because Mahito and Kenjaku have a discussion that's very important to the idea of 'humanity' in JJK, which is, the connection between 'the body' and 'the soul'.
Even more, Junpei was the prototype for all the sorcerers that were awakened during the Culling Games. Kenjaku brings up Yuuji as an example for the vessels, and I thought it was interesting to mention Yuuji and Junpei together when he was explaining the Culling Game participants. But I actually think Kenjaku counts as a 'vessel' (vessels lose autonomy, their souls are removed and replaced by a curse or sorcerer that was once alive and there is no way to separate the possessor from the body without killing the soul of the original).
In canon, they show the worst of human society and exhibit what can happen when you are let down and uncared for by the people around you. Their deaths happened because they were alone. Either out of choice or because they had no other options. In contrast, the lessons Gojo and Yuuji exhibited from these events was the importance of reaching out to people.
Gojo reached out to Geto and had an honest, private conversation with him before his final moments. Yuuji stopped attacking and listened to Junpei in his. Neither of these actions saved the characters, but they showed us that reaching out is important, even in the face of how overwhelming and awful the world can be.
JJK is a story about love, but it's also about the consequence of isolation and the power of community. Sukuna and Gojo are powerful, but they are overwhelmingly lonely. Yuuji calls himself a cog in the machine, and that sounds really bleak. The phrase is not used in any good context and is usually to show that an individual is detached or unimportant to the mechanism they're part of. But in this case I think a new perspective is needed. They are cogs that come together for a greater cause that they are all aware of and would eventually benefit them. Yuuji is surrounded by people who want to help him. It's what his grandpa wanted for him. Even if he dies physically alone, he'd have the hearts of others mourning for him and treasuring him.
Geto and Junpei died, but as tragic as it was they didn't die alone and their deaths made people reconsider the systems around them.

Kusakabe for the character ask! (I personally don’t like him lol but am interested in hearing your thoughts!)
Hah, I can understand why you feel that way, I think Gege isn't doing him any favours lately
favourite thing about them
I didn't pay much attention to him in Shibuya, he was just kinda there, but I did come to like him a bit more when we learned more about him at the beginning of the Culling Game. Honestly, when we focus more on him as a person, his bonds and convictions, I quite like him. Unfortunately, we don't really get much of that for the most part. For example, I love his interactions with Yaga and I'd like to know more about his sister. His thoughts about why he fights shortly before Sukuna knocked him out were quite touching too and honestly were more meaningful and did more for his character than Mei Mei, Nanami and Gojo explaining his character to us. Nice that they think he's a good person, but do they even know him? I'm not sure we've ever seen him interact with Nanami or Gojo. Nothing on all three that would make me believe he's anything more personal than a colleague. I would've loved to hear from Miwa, Yaga or his sister in their place. Y'know, the people who he actually thought of when gathering his courage to fight Sukuna. So I like that side of him, the rest is...eh difficult.
least favourite thing about them
He gets used way too much for exposition. It's basically his only role since he met up with the students. You don't really get much of his character in these instances because he's too busy being a mouthpiece for Gege infodumping on us. Also, I get he's bad at expressing his emotions, but I really don't like how he looks down on and berates Yuuji and Maki at times for example. He knows they need their strength and appreciates them for that, but also calls them stupid because Gojo failed to teach them something. He does care about all students in a broader sense (Miwa is clearly his favourite though), but I still get the strong impression that he sees Yuuji as merely Sukuna's vessel.
favourite line
"He isn't even here anymore. I guess it's precisely because he isn't here anymore...A dead man won't be saying much. All I can do is think of what he would say to me were he alive. I doubt he'd get on to me if I avoided putting my life on the line and didn't fight. He wouldn't stop me from seeing my little sister and Takeru, either. He might look a little sad though...not because I didn't put my life on the line, but because he and I wouldn't be able to fight at each other's side."
brOTP
Hm, idk he doesn't seem to have many people he's that chummy with. Mei Mei, I guess? At least they actually hang out sometimes and seem to get along quite well. They think in similar ways (but Kusakabe isn't a pedophile/groomer).
OTP
Yaga. Pretty much the only real ship I have with him. I liked their little scene in ch 147 already, but his last moments when facing Sukuna have made me actually consider them as a ship. What he says about Yaga and how he wishes he was there with him to give him advice or fight by his side was quite touching. I also like the little nod of Kusakabe getting the same injury that killed Yaga (I think Kusakabe will survive it though). I wish there was more about these two and the way Kusakabe cares about other people in his life. Hearing Yaga talk about Kusakabe during his fight and then have Kusakabe wonder what Yaga would say if he was still alive would have been really touching and much more fitting than those disjointed "interviews" (yes I'm still upset about that lol). But I mean generally, a couple that raises the dead together, stays together. They both have to work through the death of a child or children they were close to, so it doesn't surprise me that they got along so well. Yaga also manages to bring out the more vulnerable side of Kusakabe, which is what I'm really interested in. I wonder how their relationship started out exactly. There must've been something that made Yaga trust Kusakabe so much that he showed him the other autonomous corpses and told him at least a little bit about how they work. Was it the incident with Kusakabe's sister? Was Yaga involved or was he just trying to cheer him up afterwards and that got them talking about the respective people/children they lost? I think this is definitely the most interesting aspect of Kusakabe's character.
nOTP
Don't have one, although there are a couple of ships I don't really see the appeal in like Kusakabe/Takaba. Why would they be interested in each other? But it's nothing I can't stand at all.
random headcanon
Usami is his sister and she used to be a sorcerer who at some point got traumatized to the point of being catatonic during a mission, where she also lost her son. It's also why he tries to tell himself that he won't risk his life for others anymore because he has seen what happens if you fail and he is scared of seeing other people he's close to die. So he emotionally distances himself and tries to not get too close with others or for others to develop an attachment to him.
unpopular opinion
He doesn't come off as a "cool guy" to me, just bitter and repressed. Also people shouldn't take everything he says as Word of God.
song i associate with them
Can't really think of one.

I REMEMBER I REMEMBER I REMEMBER
Okay so watching rom-coms with Choso cause (what a surprise) that dude is so gentle and soft that he loves those movies and even tears up. (We love strong men who show emotion)
But something that always bothered him is kisses. He never got a kiss, not in his 150 years of absurd life. So one time when you watch some rom-com he asks about kisses and if you had your first kiss. (For the sake of the story; lets say NO)
So he casually says “we should have our first kiss together (bless his heart)
But you get flustered and try to explain that a first kiss is something very important and that you should have it with someone you like.
Cue Choso replying “but I like you”, he’s so uncomplicated 🥺
But you think he means just friendship, that he simply likes you as a person to be around. So you try to explain to him “not that kind of like, Choso. You’ll know when you meet your special person”
He doesn’t understand but he keeps quiet because he feels that he just got rejected?? So eventually he’ll be visiting Yuji and complain about the entire situation, all like “she said kisses are meant for people you like, and I like her but does that mean she doesn’t like me? Did I just get rejected? What do I do not?” ALL POUTY TOO
Meanwhile you’re visiting yuuji a little later and complain yourself “he asked for a first kiss but I dont think he understood what kisses meant. I almost said yes, but I cant take advantage of him like that. What if I take his first kiss and then he meets someone he likes? Did I do the right thing?”
Meanwhile Yuuji just sits there like 😓😩 ”why the fuck you both so stupid?? Even I see that you like each other” 🙄🤦‍♂️
((This is heavily Inspired by some satosugu fanart I saw the other day but I just LOVE MUTUAL PINING IDIOTS WHO JUST DONT CONFESS. LIKE FUCK WHY))
~ Nanami Flowershop Anon
subtly gaslighting choso about how feelings bc you wanna make sure you’re not taking advantage of him but also gahdamn is he the most kissable mf
i love this so much tho choso is so precious ?? and poor yuuji always gotta play matchmaker but he will do it every time for you and his brother- two naive lovesick idiots that just need a lil push and better communication

hi chi!!!
oh brother i dedicated my entire ao3 comment to yuuji & sukuna. i stand by my votes for the popularity poll - yuuji, nanami, and getou- but sukuna’s really getting to me 😭
but anyways, yuuta’s section 🥰 i missed him and his return was everything! his character really resonates with me, the way he feels so strongly and is powerless to his emotions at times. him saying “I’m gonna fucking kill you” to sukuna, and the hinting at his potential reaction to finding out to truth about toji… GOD. yuuta is truly a force to be reckoned with and i love him so much. he had very interesting interactions with several characters this chapter - sukuna, megumi, gojo… and of course him and toge are very cute
it’s so exciting that the kids are all going to the same school now! i love it. maki’s reaction to seeing yuuta was so good. and oh man, poor megumi and yuuji… yeah they’re gonna have a hard time (and sukuna is just laughing at them)
“Life’s more fun when you’re rough around the edges” - NOBARA ❤️😭 god i love her. yuuta & nobara helping out the fushiguro siblings is so special to me
satosugu makes me so happy ❤️ i was smiling down at my phone like a fool, i adore them and i’m so happy that they’ve gotten to where they are because they really took the long road 😭😭😭 as a slow burn enjoyer, the payoff is SO worth it
gojo was so sweet with the getou kids too. god i love that man (yeah he eats raw noodles but that’s part of his charm)
EMMAAAAA HI omfg i cant blame you. ive dedicated my entire LIFE to yuuji and sukuna, these two absolutely ruin me and i think about them all the time. your popularity poll votes are so valid!! but yeah, sukuna’s connections with all three of your faves really do make him all the more compelling…
i missed yuuta too!! i think that’s one of the downsides to a story with a cast as rich and numerous as tpg: 2-3 povs per chapter means we may go a while without seeing what’s up with a certain character, especially if only a few people are in the spotlight for an arc (looking at you, nanami fam. and yes, sukuna, you’re included in that.) i agree, yuuta’s so cool and intense, and i’m personally a big fan of the fact that he’s the only person who can’t treat sukuna in a silly way. yuuta’s control over his emotions is perhaps the lowest among the whole fam, so him not being able to hold back his true feelings is so gutting and perfect for him.
YEAHHH almost all the kiddos are together now!! i love maki’s reactions to seeing yuuta unexpected (her reaction in 33 is also hilarious)
poor itafushi. and tsumiki. but you’re right, at least megumi and tsumiki have yuuta and nobara now!! they’ve both grown so much, and they’re about to grow a whole lot more. i’m so proud of them
WEEE STSG <333 talk about PROGRESS, omg. especially getou. i totally understand why he won the popularity poll, because his arc is what i’m personally the most proud of in tpg. gojo my angel did so great with his new kiddos. thanks for reading!!!!

emi ur tags on that reblog how could u make me this sad klsjflsjdf GOD
because gege created nanami 😭 and made him that way.
someone who saw how corrupt and low the average human could get, but didn't become nihilistic...saw how there was good in the world, but didn't try to hide himself under those comforts. he could have ran, he could have abandoned it all and sought simplicity. he said he hated it all, but did everything and more anyway. just one man lost and forgotten in the fabrics of time. a good man who did what he could to preserve the good he saw in the world. he's the one and only.

Types of kisses (headcanons)
Warnings: lots of kissing, heated kissing, slightly suggestive (In gojo and sukuna's part) (also naoya isn't a misogynistic piece of shit (for Fem!reader) bcuz he loves reader and thinks reader is amazing <3)
A/n: Sorry for not posting last week other than the repost of my fic. Life's getting busy but I'll try to post weekly or once every two weeks as much as possible! For this week, here's some fluff lol =)
Characters: Itadori Yuuji, Fushiguro Megumi, Kugisaki Nobara, Gojo Satoru, Nanami Kento, Ryomen Sukuna (Sukuna has his own body in this but isn't in his OG form), Zenin Maki, Okkotsu Yuuta, Inumaki Toge, Suguru Geto (basically high school Geto, before he became all you know), Naoya Zenin x Gender Neutral!reader
Tumblr media
Itadori Yuuji
- Awww precious baby 🥺 He loves kissing you so so much. He often says he doesn't think he can survive a day without your kisses.
- Prefers giving over receiving. He's a giver and would give you anything in the world, especially his kisses! He loves receiving kisses from you as well, but he always gives you one back <3
- Kisses with him are a lot more desperate, messy and overall more chaotic. He very touched starved and he really craves your affection, so whenever you're kissing, you can sense the urgency and desperation he's feeling 🥺 Of course you feel the love behind each kiss too!
- Personally, he loves kissing the tip of your nose. He'll give a small boop before pressing his lips against it, sometimes even licking it playfully (not that you mind, he's too cute afterall)
- He loves it when you kiss any of his scars, or the area near his heart. Poor baby has been through way too much and he just needs reassurance that you're there and that you'll love him no matter what he's been through. Kissing those parts makes him feel a bit better about what has happened too <3
- Will kiss you anytime and everytime! He doesn't really get the concept of only being affectionate in private. He thinks that you both are together and since most people close to the both of you already know, there's no issue in public displays of affection!
- Overall, sweet little baby who needs lots of reassuring kisses! He's really enthusiastic about kissing you too, which is another reason you love him!
Fushiguro Megumi
- He doesn't kiss you much on the lips in public, but in private… he becomes a completely different person. But he does like giving you kisses on the forehead in public as long as Gojo isn't looking.
- He doesn't know how to convey his emotions through words very well, so his kisses are one way he tries to convey his emotions for you!
- Loves giving more than receiving! He loves being able to feel your lips or your skin against his lips. He makes him feel really happy to know you're there <3
- His favourite kisses are forehead kisses, regardless of giving or receiving. He absolutely melts when you leave a kiss on his forehead! He finds it easy and affectionate to kiss your forehead too
- His kisses are gentle yet messy usually. Will use tongue if it gets really heated but he'll always ask for your permission to continue because he cares a lot about your consent <3
- When he's feeling down or insecure, please just cuddle with him while kissing his forehead and lips as gently as you can 🥺 It makes him feel needed by someone and helps make him feel better.
- All in all, his kisses are very different depending on the situation, but no matter what, he makes sure that you can feel the love behind each kiss!
Kugisaki Nobara
- She loves receiving affection from you, and one of her favourite forms of affection is kissing! She would do anything to get kisses from you 🥺
- She doesn't really find it difficult to express her emotions through words, but some things are just easier when conveyed through actions instead of saying it out loud for her. Most of the time, she uses kisses as a way to show you how much she misses and loves you after missions.
- Prefers receiving over giving. Listen, she just wants to be pampered by you ok? She loves the feeling of you lips on her body and it makes her feel so loved and appreciated <3
- She loves it when you kiss her hands and her arms. It feels extremely intimate to her. She especially loves it when you kiss her nails after she gets a manicure!
- Her favourite spot to kiss you would be your shoulders. It's easy to reach, and it also is her way of encouraging you during training! She'll leave kisses all over your shoulders when the two of you are resting in between training sessions!
- Kisses with her are usually slow and sensual, with her taking her time to guide you. Yes, she's normally the one who takes control while kissing and it's hot. She'll guide your tongue and lips to fit perfectly against hers, and trust me it feels so amazing <3
- Overall, she's your princess who wants to be pampered and loved! But she'll take the lead when kissing regardless of who initiated the kiss so that both of you can feel good while kissing!
Gojo Satoru
- You can't tell me this man isn't a tease. He definitely is and one way he teases you is with his kisses.
- He loves both giving and receiving equally. To him, regardless of who's the one who initiates it, it's an act of love and regardless, he knows that the both of you love each other equally (Let's be honest though he probably the one initiating it most of the time)
- He loves kissing the area right next to the corner of your lips just to tease you. He will only kiss you properly if you beg him to kiss your lips (he's such a big tease please-)
- That being said, his favourite place to kiss you is your lips! I mean what else did you expect from him? (I mean he won't mind kissing more… intimate areas but yeah)
- He loves it when you kiss any part of his body. Like when I say any part I really really mean any part. He doesn't mind where you kiss him, as long as well, you're kissing him <3
- He might be a tease even when it comes to kissing you, but every kiss he gives is so filled with love and reassurance! He wants to tell you that he's all yours and that he won't be going anywhere.
- Overall, still a huge tease but he always makes sure that a kissing session ends in you knowing just how much he loves and appreciates you <3
Nanami Kento
- Such. A. Gentleman. For real he asks you for permission to kiss you every. single. time. No matter where he's kissing you. He always asks for consent <3
- Soft kisses 95% of the time. Presses feather-like kisses against your lips and skin and he's just so so so kind and gentle! The other 5% of the time well- let's just say it gets heated and he becomes more aggressive, but he makes sure he doesn't hurt you!
- Gives you kisses the moment he gets home, when cuddling you, before you both start sleeping… he just kisses you as much as he can.
- His favourite place to kiss you would be your hands. Just imagine him lifting your hand to his lips, before kissing each of your fingers and then the back of your hand <3
- For him, his favourite place for you to kiss is his forehead or the temple of his head. He gets stressed everyday and the feeling of your lips on his head makes everything so much better 🥺
- Will always kiss you on the forehead before going to work if you're asleep. If you're awake, expect kisses all over your face and your lips before he leaves for work.
- Overall, extremely respectful about your boundaries and will always ask for permission to kiss you! He's a really good kisser too, and that's considering he didn't have experience before you!
Ryomen Sukuna
- He never could express his emotions well through words, and even if he tried his best, he'll get frustrated when he can't convey his emotions. So he uses kisses and other acts of affection to tell you how much he loves you!
- Loves both giving and receiving kisses but since he really craves affection, he ends up giving you more kisses than you give him (I'm pretty sure he'll kiss you every 5 minutes when the two of you are just spending the day at home)
- He loves kissing every single part of your body. Like I'm not even kidding he loves kissing even the most intimate areas as much as he can. He can't pick a favourite but he kisses you the most on your stomach or lips!
- His favourite place to be kissed would be his lips or his chest, though he doesn't mind you kissing any other part of his body. He prefers those two parts because it's intimate while also being easy to access <3
- Kisses with him are mostly rough and heated but he does get soft sometimes and places butterfly kisses along your neck and face. You always end up giggling because it feels ticklish!
- He feels a lot of emotions, but doesn't really have any way to cope or let out his emotions. So when he sees that you're feeling down, he'll kiss you all over your body to comfort you before asking you about what's wrong.
- Overall, extremely good kisser! Yes, it can get heated sometimes, but he gets soft and gentle because you're really precious to him <3
Zenin Maki
- She's another one who isn't good with expressing affection. She struggles so much with it that she doesn't really know how to show you she loves you through her actions or words. So you have to teach her of course!
- Prefers receiving over giving, for the simple reason that she hardly initiates kissing in fear of breaking any boundaries. So you end up initiating and kissing her a lot more.
- That doesn't mean that she doesn't know what to do once the two of you start kissing. Once she gets into it, kisses with her can get rough and messy, mainly because she's trying her hardest to convey her love for you <3
- She really loves it when you kiss any of her scars, or the bridge of her nose. It just comforts her and makes her forget the pressure of being a jujutsu sorcerer!
- She loves kissing your tummy! She just feels much emotionally closer to you when she does that and she just can't explain it. It probably because your tummy is warm though 🥺
- She gets absorbed in her thoughts a lot when she's not training, and most of the time it's all the bad memories that suck her in. You often kiss her on any part of her body to bring her back to reality so that she won't have to remember all the haunting memories anymore <3
- She's learning how to show affection more openly, and of course you're going to help her! She really loves your kisses because they calm her down and make her feel safe!
Okkotsu Yuuta
- Soft baby 🥺 Very clingy in private and always demands for kisses (he ends up going to kiss you instead of waiting for you to even react to his request for a kiss)
- Loves both giving and receiving, but will never admit that he prefers receiving because he's really shy about it 🥺 He ends up initiating a lot of the kisses too, so he does give most of the time.
- When you do initiate kisses though… he finds it so hot and just melts into the kiss, letting you take full control of him. He tends to stroke his hand through your hair when kissing too!
- He loves kissing the base of your ring finger, where a ring would be. It's like a little reminder to both of you that one day, when the both of you are ready, he'll put a proper ring on that finger <3
- He loves it when you kiss his face. Like literally any part of his face. Kiss him on his face while cupping his cheek and he just melts into your touch, nuzzling against your hand slightly <3
- Kisses with him are very soft and gentle. Most of the time you take control of the kiss even if he was the one who initiated it! You both try to pour as much love and emotion into one make out session as possible.
- Overall, very soft and calm baby 🥺 Would ask for your permission and everything if he wanted to take control and kiss you more roughly because he's a gentleman!
Inumaki Toge
- Poor baby can't express his love in words most of the time because of his cursed speech =( So he shows his affection and love for you through his actions
- He loves kisses! He loves both giving them and receiving them! It makes him feel secure and loved.
- His kisses are super super gentle and sweet! His kisses also convey just how much he loves you! He also loves giving you small pecks on your cheek or forehead in between classes just as a way of saying hi to you <3
- He absolutely melts when you squish his cheeks together and then kiss him all over his face, especially over the markings near his mouth
- His favourite place to kiss you is all over your face! He really can't choose and he thinks you're so so cute! He can't help but leave kisses on every inch of your face <3
- When he's needy or when he's feeling down, he kisses you much more passionately (tongue and all). He also sucks and kisses your neck a lot more.
- He gives you kisses as a form of affection, reassurance and comfort. He might not be able to express his love for you in words all the time but he can show you how much he loves you through his kisses!
Suguru Geto
- Another one who is a tease, but he doesn't tease you that often. He mostly is compliant and will kiss you whenever you want him to!
- Prefers giving over receiving. Sure, receiving kisses from you means that he feels more comforted and reassured, but he loves the feeling that he's doing something for you when he kisses you. It gives him a sense of satisfaction!
- Loves loves loves kissing your cheeks! He loves squishing them or pinching them gently before pressing kisses to them, kind of as an apology for what he did to your cheeks.
- He absolutely goes crazy when you kiss the nape of his neck, or just any part of his neck. He does get sensitive from those places but that's what makes it feel so good <3
- His kisses tend to be very passionate and addictive. Like for real sometimes you both have a 20 minute long make out sessions because the feel of each others lips is just so damn addictive 🥺
- Whenever you get nightmares, he'll pull you closer to him and then kiss the back of your head or your forehead (depending on which way you were facing when you fell asleep) and then leaves his lips there to remind you even in your sleep that he's there. Of course, you do the same for him <3
- Overall, very very sweet and passionate kisses with him! He's very gentle with you too, because he loves and cares about you so much 🥺
Zenin Naoya
- Makes sure to kiss you every single day. For real he doesn't care much about missions, he tries to finish them as soon as possible so he can go home and kiss you.
- He loves giving kisses, but is a little insecure about receiving kisses because he thinks he doesn't deserve a person as perfect as you =")
- Very affectionate and passionate kisses! He kisses you really gently sometimes, and he gives you really hard and intense kisses too, depending on the situation. Regardless, you can feel the love he has for you whenever and wherever he kisses you!
- His favourite place to kiss you is your lips! He thinks that kissing is one of the many ways he can express his love for you so he wants you to feel his love for you as much as possible by kissing your lips <3
- Because of how he was before, he gets insecure and scared that you'll leave him for what he was like before. He gets really clingy when that happens and he ends up kissing your neck really lightly because he wants reassurance that you're still there for him =")
- He is an absolute sucker for you kissing his lips. He needs the comfort of your lips on his to make him feel more safe.
- Overall, he's a really good kisser! He knows what types of kisses you love the most and he never fails to give you affection in the form of kisses <3

Hi, i hope your doing well <3 So, my ex just randomly showed up at my house with roses and $100 🧍🏾‍♀️ so i wanted to see how the jjk characters would react to their S/O’s ex showing up at their door w/ money and roses😭 you can do whoever you’d like but can one of them be Nanami PLEASE?? Thank you ❤️❤️
A/N: OH.MY.GOD
Girl- I was literally thinking about the ex-boyfriend trope. LITERALLY some of the boys would loose their shit. Okay okay since you asked, I will provide.
Characters mentioned: Yuuji, Megumi, Nanami
Yuuji- "I'm sorry, she's not here."
This could go one of two ways:
1- He opens the door
2- He ignores it. You would be inside on the phone with your friends while Yuuji might see your ex walk up the steps. Hell no.
And guess what? Yuuji is at it. He's making you feel as comfy as possible. "Hey babe, I brought you some snacks! Oh yeah, stay here. Do you need a blanket? Don't forget to tell your friend about our visit to the beach over the weekend, HA!"
He is so good at distractions. Mainly because he gets distracted, he is undeniably so good at it that you don't even notice a thing.
((btw I can totally see him pull a Peter Parker- if you've seen that scene in NWH where he and MJ are distracting Happy and May, that is EXACTLY how Yuuji would manage the situation)).
Megumi- "She's not here." proceeds to call you, "Hey BABE! There's some weird guy outside of our house asking for you."
He acts like he's unaffected, I mean, he hates the guy- but he's not about to show his emotions off like he's affected by someone as pathetic as them.
You're at the grocery store when he pulls up. Annoyed, he opens the door. "She's not here. Hold up. Let me call her."
He's so great at being lowkey, I live for the way he handles the situation.
The way he uses babe, and 'our house' is so casual off of the tip of his tongue that it's as if the two of you have been together for years. Megumi knows what he's doing. It's his silent way of marking his territory. And he knows the best way is handling it like that.
He's so obvious that even if your ex doesn't take the hint, he'll ask you something about your relationship like, "Hey babe, I called about our reservation- yeah, for date night. They're fully booked, so how about we have it at home? Yeah, I like that too."
By the end of the conversation, your ex will already have taken the hint. And they'll feel bad. Like seriously.
Nanami- the MAN, the myth, the LEGEND
Lmaooo, do you really think he feels threatened?
He knows he's better than your ex. And that's a fact.
I know it's not that great, but he has already convinced himself that he is 10 times better (I mean he is, but you get where I'm going with this).
He's wealthy, clean, composed as an adult, has a 401k, does his taxes early, tall, and he's got you. You chose him. So there's not doubt in his mind where things are meant to be where they are.
In fact, he's rather annoyed that your ex won't get the hint.
Your ex comes by one Friday evening. You're busy showering, getting ready for date night, while Nanami is already dressed.
And oh god, how good he looks.
He feels nearly smug that he's dressed up for the occasion that out of everyone your ex gets to see him.
Dressed in black and shiny dark brown dress shoes, Nanami has a noticeably expensive watch on his wrist. And anyone who is near him can smell the expensive perfume ooze from him.
Specifically Tom Ford's 'oud wood' Eau de Parfum
Smells sooo good.
When he opens the door, your ex can see how significantly taller he is.
"You brought her $100?"
He nearly sounds offended and oh god, the look of distaste on his face is evident. He's a mastermind, a God, and knows that doing less is more. His presence itself is worth more.
And the thing is, you didn't even tell him what he did. Yuuji did. And after knowing what your ex did, forgiveness is the last thing on his mind.
"I...uh...I'm here to see her." says your ex.
Nanami sighs, looking down at his watch. "She's getting ready for our date, and our reservation is at 7."
Normally, he's not like this, but oh how good does he play being an ass. (with reason, of course). His posture, his elegance, EVERYTHING about him will ultimately leave your ex leaving. Like Megumi, your ex will feel bothersome. So after that encounter, he won't be knocking at your door anytime soon.
"Hey honey," you walk as Nanami has already closed the door. He smiles at you when he sees you're wearing the red dress and exclusive YSL heels he bought you. "Who was that at the door?"
"Just some delivery guy," he says as he pulls you, placing a kiss on your temple. "Wrong address." he mutters. You look radiant, beautiful, and worth everything his name has to offer.
"Would you like me to put your necklace on for you?"
"Oh please!" you beam. "You're such an angel."
He smiles, gently placing his hands over you.
And you're mine.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
A/N: I hope you like this!! Let me know what you think <3

JJK confessing their crush on you
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Navi
Warnings - Swearing, Suggestive, fluffiest of fluff.
Ft. - Yuuji, Megumi, Nanami, Gojo, and Inumaki.
...
Yuuji Itadori (The accidental)
Tumblr media
° To say Yuuji was worried was an extreme understatement, he felt like Sukuna had ripped out his heart once more after seeing the incident he had caused. Yuuji just told his crush how gorgeous and out of his league they are, thinking he was texting Nobara.
° He was so close to puking, sobbing, passing out, and screaming all at once. Yuuji just wanted to crawl into a hole and be buried by his friends by this point, he's sent letters to Jennifer Lawrence before but it was anonymous and everyone loves her anyways. This was different, you actually knew him and were a close friend, and he couldn't hide behind an anonymous figure.
° You didn't even respond to his text, it just was read and left there. Yuuji kept bouncing back different excuses or lies to get out of this, but nothing was working or coming together. You were smart, much smarter than him... He knows you'd be able to see through him in seconds. So maybe he should just apologize and buy you a gift to make up for making you uncomfortable.
° Just as he began to scroll through Togepi plushies for you, a few soft knocks at his door caught his attention. Yuuji wanted it to be you so he could apologize, but also didn't because he's very embarrassed. Getting past his self loathing, he opened the door his heart sinking when he saw your eyes beam up at his.
° Before he could finish the sentence 'I'm sorry' your lips had already become linked to his. It was very short, a small peck that was sweet and filled with joy. Did you just kiss him? No... Yuuji must be mistaken... But you just kissed him. Yuuji was frozen, having mental whiplash from the 180 of emotions he was having. His crush who he was 90% sure didn't see him in the same way, just came to his room to kiss him.
" I like you too, Yuuji. I always have, I just thought you saw me as a sister rather than someone you could date." You whispered, nose bumping his as a soft smile grazed his features.
"I admire everything about and am glad you feel the same way, but can you please pinch me because I can't beleive this is really happening." He laughed, already pinching his arm.
° Instead of pinching his other arm, you opted to kissing both of his cheeks to make him realize that this was real. He accidently confessed his feelings to his crush, and they liked him back just as much if not more. He heard Sukuna making gag noises from his hand, but Yuuji could care less. The king of curses should gear up for even more mushy nonsense, because Yuuji is already craving it all.

Megumi Fushiguro (The forced)
Tumblr media
° You and Megumi were driving Yuuji and Nobara insane. The small smiles everytime you made eye contact with each other, the constant gushing that neither of you could control, the whining that you both did when you denied the thought that either of you could have the same feelings, and worse of all the awkward and hesitant affection you two would attempt.
° You both were head over heels for each other, yet you were both completely oblivious to the fact that either of you could reciprocate the same feelings. Even Gojo commented on your situation, calling both of you lovebirds, and teasing Megumi any chance that was given to him.
° Nobara and Yuuji were sick of the awkward tension you both were causing, so they took it into their own hands. They told Megumi that they would be going to a nice restaurant with you to celebrate their latest achievements against some strong curses. Megumi believed them since they have been wanting to eat out and have some time to relax for quite a while now. But what he was unaware of, was that they made you make the reservations so they could bounce and leave you alone with Megumi.
° Megumi walked into the restaurant, a black button up and black suit pants partnered with black dress shoes. He stuck out immediately amongst the crowd of customers due to his very one toned fashion, but it helped knowing that he didn't bale on you like both Nobara and Yuuji did. You knew their plan, it was to make you two confess. But if anything this situation could potentially make things more awkward.
° He sat down in front of you, greeting you softly despite both of you clearly knowing what was going on. You didn't want any awkward tension or silence, so you decided to comment on Yuuji and Nobara's antics. Despite practically revealing you liked him, it succeeded in breaking the ice and making him chuckle. He agreed with you, admitting the he was fully aware of the plan they had made once he walked into the restaurant.
" Maybe it's not such a bad thing that it's the two of us. I was really scared that my crush on you would make things awkward and ruin our bond... But I'm really happy that it didn't effect anything we had." You commented, sipping on some water as you face began to heat up.
" I hate to say it, but I'm glad they forced us to talk things out. This way we can plan an actual date instead of some set up they both came up with. I promise that the next place won't be so loud." Megumi agreed, laughing with you when a group of men hollered at the tv that was playing baseball 24/7.
° Despite anitially being pissed at your two close friends, as the night went on and you and Megumi grew more comfortable. You ended up understanding why they did what they did, your friends were tired of watching two people that clearly like each other and clicked well constantly deny their feelings for each other.

Gojo Satoru (The drunk)
Tumblr media
° Their were rumors around that you, the person he's been in love with since jujutsu school days... Were in love with Geto. Not only was Geto crazy and unstable... And dead, but Gojo was also madly in love with you and constantly hinted at the fact. How could you not even pick up a single hint? Did this mean you simply ignored his hints because you didn't see him that way?
° The thought of you being happy and in love with someone other than him, broke his heart into millions of pieces despite how selfish it may sound. Gojo was a laid back and fun friend who always had your back, sure he was crazy at times, childish, and in some people's eyes... Ignorant. But he never thought you would ever think that way about him, he thought there would be this one moment in the future where you two share your mutual love and then kiss.
° All of this guilt for not confessing, and sorrow at the thought of you dating led Gojo towards the closest bar. Nanami luckily caught onto what he was doing before he left the sorcery school, texting you that he doesn't think Gojo is doing okay. This text surprised you quite a bit, since you saw him earlier and he was completely fine. What could've flipped his mood so drastically? You finished up the last of your paperwork before heading out to see what was wrong with Gojo.
° As you were making your way to the closest bar where you assumed Gojo would be at, your thoughts kept replaying the conversation you and Shoko had. It consisted of you telling the story of how many times Geto asked you out in your younger years, but never giving up even after you rejected him time and time again. You swore the boy was days away from stalking you if it weren't for graduation, Shoko even agreed and admitted she wished she would've seen his antics.
° Ofcourse Nobara overhead the situation and told Yuuji, then he told Panda, who told Megumi, and Megumi confessed after Toge and Maki constantly begged him to reveal what he heard. The game of telephone both you and Shoko witnessed, turned from you rejecting Geto's crush into you and Geto being in love before he passed. You simply laughed it off since they were smart enough to realise you wouldn't date such a cruel man and it would come to them eventually. But you did wonder if this was what upset Gojo? Did he love you back?
" Gojo, I'm here to bring you home. You can sober up on the back. C'mon let's get going." You comforted the crying drunk, guiding him to the exit before he stopped just outside of the entrance.
"W-why do you still love Getoo... That psycho friend. Why did you come pick up this madly in love idiot who knows you're better than him... Who knows what an idiot he is... Who kno- mmph." Gojo whined, sniffling softly before you squished his cheeks together to shut him up.
° You weren't going to tell him your feelings when you know he's going to black all of this out, but once he's sober and not overly hungover tomorrow. You were going to reassure your long time best friend, that you've been in love with him since the first day you met. And you couldn't wait to see his dumbfounded reaction.
...
Nanami Kento (The comfort)
Tumblr media
° You wanted to stay calm and collected, as if you didn't feel like a total disappointment after watching your friends find love one after the other. You were the only single friend in your large group, and they constantly reassured that you'll find love, the right man is waiting, and all of the other comforting bullshit that only stung more than it did help.
° You did have feelings for someone, and you knew this was part of the reason why you were single. You've been in love with Nanami Kento for three years, and haven't had eyes for anyone else since you fell for him. You wish you could confess, but you simply don't know how he feels. He is a born gentleman, who is kind, smart, and stoic... No one knows how he is feeling most of the time due to those reasons.
° Most of the staff and students could tell something was off with you, your personality was dulling by each day and your expressions became less and less peppy. Some thought you weren't sleeping well, some thought you had a mission that ended sadly, but Nanami has seen you in both scenarios... So he knew that your new glum mood was from something new.
° Not wanting to immediately invade your privacy or overwhelm you, Nanami followed you from a distance to a pond just outside of the Jujutsu Tech. He could hear you weeping from behind a few trees, listening to you mumble about how much of an idiot you were and wishing someone could just love you. It clicked instantly, you were jealous about your friends getting married off. Now that he knew what was wrong, he decided to finally approach you.
° Nanami sat down on the ground next to you, his knees bending into his chest while his expression stayed stoic. You hushed your tears, sniffling lightly while looking up at the sculpted beauty of a man. His eyes were sharp yet so gentle, face defined and carved for desire, and his voice was as smooth as butter. Nanami was what every man should be like, but if that were the case you surely would have even more trouble dating... Since you'd want to dat every man you'd see.
"I know it's not appropriate to eavesdrop, but I didn't want to make you uncomfortable or invade your space. I wanted to let you know that you shouldn't feel alone after seeing your friends find love...because I love you, and would like to take you out for dinner sometime this week. " Nanami reassured, his tone much warmer than usual as he spoke from his heart.
"You don't have to say this just because I'm sad, I understand if you don't feel the sam-" You were caught off shortly, two warm hands cupping your face before a pair of soft lips caught yours.
° Your eyes fluttered shut, slowly comprehending that Nanami Kento was kissing you. The man you've loved for three years loved you back, and was kissing you! Your mind and heart were doing laps in your body racing to see who was the fastest, but your body stayed somewhat still. Only ever fidgeting with his shirt as you pulled him in for more and more kisses. He happily obliged.

Inumaki Toge (The romantic)
Tumblr media
° New years eve was approaching quickly, excitement and worry filling many bodies despite everyone agreeing to the plan of having a small party while waiting for the countdown. The worry was only in Toge and Panda's bodies, knowing that they had other plans to do other than picking out some outfit for the party. Toge was going to confess to you, and Panda was going to help with a lot of it.
° Toge had many ideas in his head as to how to confess, song? No he can't sing and you both like non love songs, Note? Too basic, Fireworks? Too much money, collage of photos in a book?.... That may actually work. But it wouldn't just be the book itself, he wanted flowers, chocolates, stuffies, and your favorite songs all playing as he gave you the gift. This needed to happen while you two are alone, probably pulling you aside somewhere as panda plays music from a distance.
° It was three hours before the party would start, and you got a message from Toge saying that he wanted to see you outside for a second. You obliged, slightly wondering what he needed but you were sure it wasn't anything serious. Toge is rarely serious when it comes to his closest friends, warm and kind? Yes. Serious? No.
° Once you were in front of Toge in the middle of a feild, you saw panda hide behind a tree quickly right after pressing play on your favorite album. This alone was a bit strange, but not too out of the ordinary for these two. But the mood eventually changed once Toge's hands removed themselves from his back to reveal a large photos album labelled 'Dear y/n.'
° Quickly opening the photo album, you were graced with pages and pages of photos with you and Toge. Each one having a small phrase underneath such as 'Our first mission' 'Our beauty routine' 'Megumi was so mad.' The more pages you went through, the tighter your heart felt. This was one of the sweetest things anyone had made for you, and it's even sweeter that it's coming from your long time friend and crush.
"Toge, this is beautiful. Thank you so much, I love it." You whimpered gently, feeling hot tears well up in your eyes just as his soft hands began to brush them away.
"You're beautiful." He muttered out confidently, his normal speech making the dam in your heart finally burst. You were glad you hadn't done you're makeup by now, because your were becoming an emotional mess.
° Toge flipped to the final page for you, pointing towards the last poloroid. It was the day you two started to become friends, it was both of your first year at Jujutsu tech and Gojo sent you both on a simple mission. The caption beneath read 'The day I fell in love with you.' His lavender eyes sparkled with joy when he heard you laugh amongst your happy tears, you couldn't beleive this adorable menace actually loved you. Maybe this year you'll finally have a kiss at the end of a countdown.
