I had a shower thought about Ult and Roy. Somewhere on tumblr I read (or it may have been myself when comparing them) that they had a sibling dynamic. Ult is more of the annoying younger sibling and Roy is the older sibling.

And for some reason, the fact that I can compare them to a dynamic that i personally have experienced (my brother having to deal with me and vise versa) makes their dynamic hit so much harder than it did when I only saw them as two characters that hung out while one is more annoying and one is more responsible (tumblr I blame you)

I dunno what i’m trying to say. I guess I really like their dynamic to be siblings now.. which is a bit sad because now I can only see them as siblings and nothing else. Maybe that’s kind of good.. but damn is this pokemon anime really bonking my shipping urges away from the cast. Seriously I can’t ship any of the characters in this god forsaken anime/pos

Unrelated to the other topic but can I say how much I want Ult to get an umbreon. Like.. it’s not funny anymore he needs an umbreon badly.. at least in my brain he deserves one. Not to mention I would really like to see the other RVT members to get more pokemon!

I constantly joke about Friede showing up with some Legendary pokemon (like Arceus.. which I made a meme about) but genuinely, it would be neat and funny if he showed up with a legendary to save the kids.

Murdock’s rockruff hopefully will evolve into midday form lycanroc to oppose Franka’s midnight form lycanroc, though I can’t see him having any other pokemon… especially since he seems like the type to be content with just 2 poke friends.

Had this though earlier but Mollie with a gyrados and an audino would be so good. Bonus points if her gyrados is strong as hell. Like champion level strong gyrados. Let her be the “i’m a healer but..” meme!! Oh and her chansey to evolve into a blissey!

Ludlow deserves Kyogre. I don’t make the rules. And it would be so very funny if he had the literal god (goddess?) of the sea!

Orla.. I can’t really see her getting another pokemon but I think her elekid would evolve and she would maybe get a pokemon like klink (and the klink evo line) or an electric type? Any pokemon that could help her with mechanics and the Brave Asagi I think.

The kids are a bit more difficult because I pay a lot more attention to the adults but I think Dot would get an absol or a rockruff (who evolves into midnight or dusk form). Roy has his lucario now so I don’t feel the need to give him another pokemon, really. Liko.. maybe an espeon? Espeon would go well with her thing of being able to sympathize with pokemon very easily I think

I fear Julia Quinn. She is simultaneously a very good and very questionable author. The Bridgerton books have so many points where they start getting good and then miss Quinn just pulls out the strangest poorly disguised fetish thing or randomly very sexist thing or like disturbingly modern turn of phrase and like the whole emersion is ruined.

People don’t understand the concept of liking two characters’ relationship in multiple contexts. They can be lovers in one setting and just friends in another, their dynamic doesn’t have to be consistent in every piece of art I make.
