Underrated Urianger moment in the Warriors of Darkness plot is when Alisaie is back on her feet and the twins go with the Warrior of Light to consult with Urianger at the Waking Sands, and Urianger's greeting is "Why, Master Alphinaud. Would that the Scholar had seen fit to grant me knowledge of thy coming," which I absolutely read as him having been in the middle of something and saying in his own way, "Next time, call first."

Remaining kitties for the garden

Here are all the kitties who didn't make it to the website and their pet screens c:

^The regular kitties (The nothing option would make Error show up and just kinda glare at everybody lol and there would be mirror and paper bag options to see Dust and Horror again)

^The winter kitties (The snow option would bring out Blue and Dream, the christmas lights brought Fresh and the stocking was Ink)

^The special pairs (I don't think any of these made it to the polls lol but putting out a bed would bring Horror and Dust together, putting out a rainbow cushion would bring Color and Killer (this was how you would finally be able to pet him) and putting down comic books would bring Epic and Cross, who would finally purr when pet with his bestie)

I guess it took seeing an entire season for me to really get The Chosen, because now that I've seen all of season 1, I'm impressed. I've got issues with the (slow) pacing of individual episodes or about certain character or plot choices, but on a structural level, it's so well-done.

The season starts and ends with episodes focused on a woman who has suffered for years in a life of sin, is rejected by all good society, and is saved when Jesus sees her and calls her to a new life. With Mary Magdalene, He keeps his work secret, and doesn't even tell her His name. With the woman at the well, He tells her straight-out that He's the Messiah, and He wants her to spread the message.

The main season-long character arcs center on two people who are living comfortable lives in authority positions, who are baffled when they see Jesus' miracles, obsessively search for the truth, and are eventually called by Jesus to follow Him. Matthew's story shows how Jesus conflicts with Roman authority, while Nicodemus' shows how He conflicts with Jewish authority. In the end, Matthew instantly leaves His life and follows Jesus without hesitation, while Nicodemus is the one who rejects the call and stays in his comfortable life.

It's there, it's good storytelling, I love it.

I feel like the writing in this game would instantly improve around the middle/endgame if Bachikin was allowed to cuss out Sigkin at length.

On the one hand, stop trying to make Hawke happen. The GA name is not the issue here. On the other, I’m so glad Mia was shown to be actively looking out for Connor and that we got an actual character interaction, not just action quips.

Of course Connor’s a bit fucked up at the moment, and is not taking Ollie’s actions well. He’s not had much more than that one evening on the beach to regroup since leaving Lazarus Island, and Mia would notice and not want to let him struggle alone. The Brothers Arrow are so important to each other, but Roy’s got rather a lot on his own plate - and Mia and Connor are family too.

everytime i rewatch black sails, i find myself like vane more and more ngl. the first season really tries hard to trick you into thinking he’s just unnecessarily, banally, and uncompellingly an asshole (in the overwhelmingly compelling asshole show), whose one redeeming feature is that he’s kinda pathetic too. but geez s2 really nails home everytime that hes the best and the coolest and the most honest (maybe even most compassionate) of the mcs up until this point, barring anne of course. and on top of that i actually kind of think he has the best pre-s3 speeches. like obvs s4 flint is yknow s4 flint. and s3 max is so insane i actually cant handle it. but oh my god charles vane’s letter and his fuck your legitimacy eleanor speech and his hanging speech are so good. and fuck what i said earlier isnt even true. bc his s1 speech while hes looking in the eyes of the little boy he used to be is actually like the bestest. like fuck ok. charles vane is the best actually. #1 anarchist boy. 10/10 would want him in my commune. hed point blank refuse to help with the dishes tho so 😬.

“How did you get this?” Bonnie asks, crouching down to take the ascendant from Lucie’s hands. “What were you doing in my room?”

“We just wanted to look at it,” Lucie whispers, her eyes beginning to shine with tears. “It was making the funny sound again-,”

“I keep this locked up for a very good reason, sweetheart,” Bonnie sighs, pulling the little girl in for a hug. “You both know better than to siphon my door.”

“We didn’t mean to,” Lucie sobs, clinging to Bonnie. “It was an accident!”

“Honey, it’s okay, it's okay. You're not in trouble,” Bonnie murmurs, hoping she won’t hear the lie. She clenches her hand tighter around the ascendant, keeping it held out to the side. “I'm just thankful you didn't open it. Where's your sister?”

Lucie draws back to look up at her with tear stained cheeks. 

“She went away.”

A cold chill slides down Bonnie's spine, rendering her useless for several heartbeats. 

“Away?” she asks when she’s found her voice. “Where did she go?”

With a trembling arm, Lucie reaches out and taps the center of the ornate box. 

“Sissy’s in there,” she whispers. “The bad man pulled her in.”

One of the best Voyager scenes to indicate Tuvok & Neelix's dynamic and how I think Tuvok is just as if not more 'annoying'(positive) than Neelix is when Neelix pours Tuvok a fresh squeezed glass of a fruit juice blend and Tuvok's like (paraphrased) "I don't want to drink this." and Neelix is like "Can you please try it?" and Tuvok's like "I don't want to, you're really bad at this sort of thing. It's going to taste bad." and Neelix says that Ensign XYZ said she LOVED it, she even had a second glass! And Tuvok says Ensign XYZ could drink poison without a second thought and Neelix is like "Tuvok could you please just TRY it? Just try a little SIP of it PLEASE??" and Tuvok sighs and rolls his eyes and sniffs it before taking a sip and it turns out he loves it. Turns out it tasted good actually. And then after all that Neelix tries to talk to him over eggs (which he's again cooking fresh for him) and Tuvok tells him he doesn't wanna hear "the life history of his breakfast." Absolutely insufferable this man I would have burned his eggs on PURPOSE!!!!

after pondering on it a little bit what really frustrates me about how they keep leaving hannah out Aside from the obvious part of. you know. what the fuck are you doing let her be involved in a story she clearly really wants to (and more than deserves to!) be involved in. is that the whole "what if she betrays us" thing is like?????? my brother in christ youre not going to get a prize for any of this you cant win at lifesteal. isnt the point of it all to make a compelling story or at least an interesting video. like it doesnt even matter if anyone thinks hannah will betray or not bc if everyone stays 100% loyal and nice to each other and always do what others want them to do all the time then like whats the point of anything.. youre not going to lose anything if hannah betrays you but you Are missing out on a potentially much more interesting story regardless of her intentions. and also yeah just dont be like that to her wtf man
