I've said it before, but Ashton really just reminds me of my sister who is a punk. It isn't a compliment.
However, it sure is fascinating as a character choice and COMPLETELY consistent with what Taliesin said is his inspiration, touchstone, and framework for the character.

on my walk around the block today i saw a guy unconscious on the ground (picked up from context clues that he was biking and hit a garbage can and hit the ground with no helmet) and there were two other guys there already calling an ambulance but when i tell you the sheer dread i felt when i thought it was straight up a dead body. like when i looked i could see he was breathing but so fucking scary. one of the other guys went to go move him and i had to be like man he’s unconscious on the ground due to a collision you should not move him in case he has a head or spine injury. how was that not common sense. anyways the guy woke up and i saw the ambulance come for him but still. so scary

The thing I hate the most about Christmas is that it has the simplest, most obvious holiday gimmick ever (give and get presents) but the Christmas Lovers™ just. Refuse to accept that this could possibly be a factor in why people who aren't children like Christmas over other holidays like sorry but you live across the street from your parents I dont believe that you literally only ever see your family But One Day A Year on Christmas, so the whole "I just love being with family uwu" schtick is so fucking transparent just say you like presents!!! Just say it!
"Oh the strange mystical unnameable magic of Christmas..."
Yeah that's presents and enforced Christianity and it's never been mystical or strange

Prompt: Our dreams had found us with coffee and pancakes in a truck stop.
Six feet. Six feet deep was the reported snowfall, still in progress, still only a mere three, but that three feet difference was a matter of pedants. At three feet we were no better than we were at six, snow flurrying furiously outside as we huddled in the seating area of the Flying Jay, discussing our options. Strangers all, brought together by this unexpected snowstorm, the employees kind enough to let us loiter as we waited, stuck and wondering. He tells stories - she sings songs, and teaches me chords on my mother’s old guitar, and we pass the time. Midnight approaches, and we discuss the pros and cons of sleeping in our cars:
Pros? Privacy. Cons? A quiet metal grave, buried under six feet of snow. We discard the idea, and no stranger danger, drilled in by a mom only an hour’s drive away, stops me from falling asleep. In my dreams, mom wakes me with pancakes. When I wake, Steve at the Flying Jay has free coffee.
