30. Rank your order: JoJo main villains. Oh, gosh. This one is hard to pick because I like them fairly equally and this answer changes a lot, but based on personal faves rn it would be: Diavolo > Kira > Dio > Valentine > Pucci > Kars > Tooru

39. Series you would want to crossover with JoJo? Aeon Flux! I think it's so similar in vibe and look, it surprises me more JoJo fans aren't into Aeon.

45. Scariest / creepiest moments? Ooo. Cioccolata's intro in the anime almost feels more like something from Satoshi Kon than JoJo. It's way more realistically creepy, I love it. And Diavolo's dissection. I think that's only in the anime too, they really ramped up the horror elements for Part 5.

Part 3 has some of the strongest body / weird horror. Death 13, Geb and the Empress, or Ebony Devil slicing that poor guy's face off. The Sethan arc is more comedic, but the woman turned into a fetus that could die any moment is tense and weird. Also Angelo from 4.... His whole character, the way he is defeated, and that stomach-churning scene with that dog. Just everything about Angelo is disturbing.

- Jotaro, Jonathan and Dio are the only cast members with stars on the Hollywood walk of fame

- When Dio’s star was announced, all the villains not just from Jojo but other anime series congratulated him as it was a victory for them. Dio was an emotional wreck that day

Andrew Scott as Tom Ripley

Malkovich and Damon aside, Tom Ripley has also been played by Dennis Hopper, Barry Pepper, and more. Here, he’s portrayed by Andrew Scott, who many will know as Moriarty from the BBC’s Sherlock or the priest from Fleabag. Tom Ripley is slightly less unhinged than Moriarty, but this con artist is absolutely not beyond murder. And since it’s based on Patricia Highsmith’s The Talented Mr. Ripley, the first Ripley book, you know Season 1 (set in the 1960s) is going to have a high body count.

Johnny Flynn as Dickie Greenleaf

Dickie Greenleaf is the errant son of a shipping magnate, who Ripley is charged with tracking down. He’s sort of acquainted with Ripley, but Ripley has talked up their alleged friendship, which may unravel when they actually meet. Greenleaf is played by Johnny Flynn, previously seen as David Bowie in 2020’s Stardust.

Marge Sherwood joins the cast of Ripley as Dickie’s girlfriend, and, unlike Dickie, she’s suspicious of Ripley’s true motives. Will she be another victim of his ambition? You’ll have to watch to find out. She’s played by Dakota Fanning, recently seen as Robert McCall’s foil in The Equalizer 3.

Maurizio Lombardi as Inspector Pietro Ravini

Inspector Ravini gets the briefest of namechecks in The Talented Mr. Ripley, but here, he’s a regular menace, threatening to tear down Ripley’s web of lies. He’s played by Italian actor Maurizio Lombardi, who you may recognize from Netflix’s WWII heist movie Robbing Mussolini.

yknow i was gonna just draw Gio with maybe one or two of the ideas for lil buddies she'd have and talk about them a bit

but per usual I went over the top and drew her a whole main group of friends so here you hope this is what you wanted

a solid lil group of five that vary in how much iv fleshed them out,, i just have for sure i wanted a lil Lisa Lisa type lady to be in Gios group, and settled on all of them being named after Renaissance paintings and painters.

I dont have much thought out in the ways of them meeting one another or any goals for them, or stand abilities or much of that. But know that these guys are FRIENDS and can fit SO many issues in them <33

I do think giving it a more p4 storyline kinda vibe thats more center to one small area problem and being on the more slice of life style of story telling could be fun...

Mona, the oldest of this lil rag tag group, meant to be a lot like a Lisa Lisa type for the group ^^

im thinking shes the only non stand user of their group but mm debating it truly. I imagine a more focus on her character as one of the last of the guards to be full tried in spin for this use. if she had a stand to any degree it be like gyro where its hardly a thing.

I also do like the idea of her having history or forming a connection with Jorge with him being a reoccurring character through Giorno as the two grew up kinda distant but fairly close none the less form of cousins to one another.

Taking, obviously a bit of inspo from the Pucci's on this one. Floridian man struggles with microaggressions on multiple different fronts, loses faith in god and struggles to figure out how to see the good in life.

I dont know much of what i wanna do with his stand but Daisy did suggest an invisibility facet to them,,, potentially thinking to take some inspo from portal on this one specifically with the slime they introduce with being able to build up speed or make bouncy floors and stuff, something along those lines but a lil more built up,,,

very silly wild girl kinda character, a real richy rich philanthropist type. All talk, wouldnt know how to handle herself if things went wrong for her for even a second.

i have NO idea what to do with her stand ability I just really like the idea of it being made out of fashion magazine clippings (again ty Daisy for such a baller suggestions)

Of course theres our protag main girl, Giorno. Daughter of Diego and Hot Pants. Named after Diegos mother's maiden name. Very much meant to be like a mixture of P5 Giorno and Trish. Giorno whos a lil louder and meaner and has a bit of a more broken moral compass most of the time but is just more or less broken as a person who cant seem to be able to snuff out that last little golden light in her heart that tells her to do good.

Her stand Born to be, which is the name I think I'm 100% settling on for it... im still not 100% sold on what I exactly want its power to be, but I am thinking it would be like a "healer" type stand of the group and having a "mending" like ability with being able to patch anything together or treat any material like fabric and sew it to other materials like a brick wall to clothing fabric. or sewing parts of concrete together to make a wall... just throwing some ideas at the wall, seein what sticks.

And! last and youngest member of the group, Venus. A bit of a loner who has suddenly found herself glued to Gios click and cant seem to figure out why shes so terribly fascinated with being around them. Yes Mona is teaching her spin and Gio is like a russian doll with layers she wants to unwrap, but she doesn't need to hover around them everyday for that... So she's kinda wonder what the deal with that is? is it? a sense of found family??? or?? something? gross..

As for her stand i again dont have anything set in stone beyond it being able to do stuff with technology, maybe like an old school paisy park kinda beast. maybe something to do with noises,,,

I do like the idea of Venus learning spin from Mona and Venus using it like a dog toy for Atomic dog and playing fetch with it as a way to incorporate her stand ability with her spin ability.

(I've had this animatic in my head for legit forever but I don't have the patience or dedication to draw it so here u go.)

Another story I heard about myself, this one happened in high school. We had this teacher in high school whose younger self went to our high school. His name was Mr. DIO, and his younger self Dio went to our high school. He was 20, when I was 33. So he was two hundred years older than me.

And Mr. DIO... was an asshole. And one weekend he and his wife (Vanilla Ice) decided to leave town, which you should never do, if you're an asshole.

And Dio decided to throw a party at the teacher's house.

Hurray!~...

And everyone around town heard about it, and we all got up individually and thought "okay, let's go over there and destroy the place."

I walked into this party. Everyone I had ever met was there and everyone was drinking like it was the end of the world. People were drinking like it was the civil war and a doctor (Cioccolata, of course) was coming to saw our legs off. It was totally unsupervised. We were like dogs without horses, we were running wild.

(during the last two sentences, Cioccolata tries to offer Kira some hands. Kira is naturally intrigued but manually disgusted.)

I walked down, I walked down to the basement. They had a pool table in the basement. One dude (Formaggio) took a running start and threw his body onto the pool table and broke it in half.

Another kid (Secco) found out which room was Mr. DIO's and went upstairs and took a shit on his computer.

So the party was going great.

I'm standing in the basement, and I'm holding a red cup (with one of his hands); you've seen movies. And I'm standing there, and I'm holding a red cup and I'm starting to black out, and I guess someone (Pesci) said like "something, something, Joestars"

And in a brilliant moment of word association, I yelled:

"FUCK DA JOESTARS!

...

FUCK DA JOESTARS!"

...And everyone else joined in.

100 drunk, white children (stand users of varied ethnicities) yelling “fuck the Joestars”, with the confidence of guys who have already been to jail and aren't afraid of it anymore (Angelo), you know that like, "I've served my nickel, you come and take me!" confidence.

But white children (stand users of varied ethnicities).

The reason someone had said "something, something, Joestars" was because the Joestars were there.

So a New York Joestar (old Joseph) walked down the stairs and got to the bottom in the basement and looked out-- over a sea of drunk toddlers (stand users) yelling "fuck DA Joestars".

In his face.

And he was almost impressed. He was like "wow..."

And then he leaned into his (Hermit Purple powered) walkie-talkie and went...

"...get the patty wagon (turtle)."

And my friend Pucci, who is now a father-- this man now has a (green) baby-- he grabbed a 40, smashed it on the ground, and yelled "SCATTER!"

And everyone ran into different directions. We all ran in different directions. It was like that scene in Ratatouille when the humans come in the kitchen and all the rats go in different ways. We all ran in different directions.

(Ratt obviously appears during the commotion.)

I ran into the laundry room and I jumped up on the washing machine and I crawled out through a window into the backyard and now I'm running through the backyard and there was this big chain link fence and I thought "I've never climbed a fence that high before"--

And then I woke up at home.

...On Monday, I went to school, because that's what we did back then. And I'm walking into the school building and who do I see but Dio.

And he says to me "Hey, were you at my party on Saturday?"

And I said no, you know, like a liar.

And he said "Things got really outta hand. Someone broke the pool table. Someone took a shit on my dad's computer. But the worst thing," he says, "the worst thing is that someone stole these old antique photos of my grandmother, and my parents are freaking out about it."

And I had that thought. That only blackout drunks and Steve Urkel can have.

(Kira very seriously considers that the grandma in question had nice hands and he took it.)

...Did I do that?...

...I figured no, I wouldn't have done that.

But I was never sure, until two years later.

...relax.

I'm playing video games with this kid named Kars that we also went to high school with-- two years later, we've graduated by now. We're playing video games for a couple hours, and then Kars says to me,

"Hey. Come here, I want to show you something."

And he takes me into his bedroom and then he takes me into a side room off of his bedroom. Never a good thing to have.

He shows me a tiny room that is covered wall to wall in stolen, antique photos from different people's parties over the years.

(the photos in question include the Egypt group photo, the DIO photo, and the photo of whoever the fuck Trish's mom was.)

And I said, "Why?...

...Why do you do this?..."

And Kars said,

"Because it's the one thing you can't replace."
