The Thingamabobems

I'm beginning a thing where I update the lore for my old animation characters from around 2019-2021!!! They've kinda been my brand for my animation art style for a while and I heavily associate them with my roots as an animator lololol

General description: The Thingamabobems are a group of cursed creatures that live in a reality that is not supposed to make any sense. New characters are added whenever the universe begins to make too much sense. However, if this reality starts making too little sense, it is reset and characters are sucked out of this reality by THE ONE THAT SLEEPS and replaced with other ones from different realities [a dimensional shuffle pretty much] some of the rules of their universe also shift a little bit.

Some characters live in the Overworld, whilst many others reside in a Pocket Dimension right beside it. Most of the characters in the Overworld are uncursed which I will expand on the meaning of later.

Starting off with character descriptions for the first 7 under the line :)

01 - Percy

Percy is in charge of the pocket-pocket dimension, a literal "pocket" dimension that his familars reside in, which is within the pocket dimension of their world. he is very responsible and helps Mercy [next character] with some of her projects that she does. He is very good at predicting people's next moves

02 - Mercy

Mercy is emotionally hollow and fascinated by fire, so she carries a lighter around with her. She works on Tiny Life projects with Percy oftentimes, making living creatures out of dust and specks

03 - Kindle

Kindle is short and able to fly around, she is very curious and likes to play with her friends :) very simple character

04 - Derpy

Derpy's head has been wacked so it is much wider than everybody else's. He's very smart, he tries to teach Paperman [who will be talked about later] how to play chess, but usually fails

05 - Mindle

Mindle loves theories and conspiracies, and also struggles with chronic Electrocution that gives her unchecked amounts of energy. (Make sure not to touch her on a bad day)

06 - Bob

Bob has the brain power of approximately 11 dogs, he is a physical protector of his familiars if anything ever happens. He's very tall and he likes to chew on paper

07 - Paperman

Of "Grim Mishappens of Paperman" fame, Paperman is the one I've drawn the most by a longshot!!

Paperman wishes everybody has a good day. He likes to stack cards and attempt to play chess. He has a fascination for very short people. He tends to create blueprints when he is stressed

Paperman was cursed by a witch to only be able to say the word "Blargh", but everytime he says it it means something different. Joseph [papermans translator, who I won't talk about for another while] is one of the only people that can understand him. Paperman printed papers at the organization of Mr. Stone, a paper company, that is before he attempted to kill Mr Stone after accidentally printing out playing cards when he was meant to print papers for Stone to sign

His birthday is August 27th 2019 :) [in real life]
