Head has deformers and the torso + arm are here (the arms are copy and paste, so I only needed to do 1), and so is the hoodie on his hip.
I just need to add more drawings now to fully finish the front view head. Decided to go with making new drawings rather than intricate mouth and eye rigging.
(early test to see if the head pivots were right)
Some silly stuff. His costume parts are separate from Normal himself, so I can have him with or without the mascot skin without much trouble.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to do the Teen High logo on his shirt. Idk if that should be a handrawn part, if I can rig it to fold, static texture, idk yet.
I'll prob not gonna touch him much this week bc it's gonna be busy, unfortunely (29th is my birthday!! :] ).
Concept art of Jeff the Cheff, the character played by Sage in the tabletop rpg "Legends & Lore" from Goodbye Volcano High, by Oriana Carletto.
Interestingly, the second design is the "powered up" form that doesn't appear in the game, making Jeff the only character without one. One can speculate he would have transformed in the library, as that's the only place without a transformation and where he finds the nerconom-nomicon shown here.
Lucie Viatge's page also has a chibi version of this unused form (along with the others) meant for a cut battle mechanic:
Strangely, the design was finalized for the game, as seen at the end of this demo reel by animator Jeffrey De La Nuez:
I reanimated that one scene from The Darly Boxman Show with me and my friend's Pink Citysona's (light blue crescent is my friend, maroon suit person is me)
I'm pretty proud of this and had fun making it so I hope @gooseworx likes it (also credits to Team Train-Wreck for the Transformers: MTMTE comic dub)
Also thanks @ the toki ponists who comment/add tags on my panda posting, I’m still no good at speaking/writing myself but I’ve gotten pretty good at reading/understanding now and reading y’all’s comments has been great practice for that ^^
Got this done! All three boys are rigged and ready to move! I might toss together a smaller animation or two if I’m up to it, but planning to move on to a proper TRG Animated soon!
Annabelle went through quite the redesign, I'm much happier with the colours and her new style. I've nearly finished her rig, once she is complete she'll be available on Gumroad for FREE for you guys to animate (with credit of course)
Lila will also be available on Gumroad once her build in complete!
Drawn in Photoshop, animated in Spine Pro. The final art piece I made for my bachelor thesis on GIF as a medium for art.
I've been researching digital art in the context of modern folk art, outside institutional or commercial art. I analysed almost 500 art GIFs across Tumblr, Artstation and GIPHY.
There's almost no academic research on art GIFs, so it was important to me to examine and document it. I also examined the optimisation of GIFs and how it relates to web sustainability.
And because the bachelor program was focused on art practice, I then created my own art GIFs, and it seemed only right that I should do it through fanart of something I've been really into lately. Thanks @samreich and the rest of Dropout for giving me some unhinged content as inspiration. Watch 'Game Changer' everyone, it's great.
Believe it or not these are animation rigs I made and I might be making some more animations with them (I need to fix Hoonis' arms and legs because they're kinda janky)
