Hi ! Saw you were ok with some questions so huh. How did Dream come to know about "the Wraith" ? Was it a public legend he finally decided to investigate once he tried to break free from his position as heir or did he find it once he started researching dragons ?

Why did he try that one and not another maybe more docile ?

How common are dragons in your world ?

So the first question is something I've thought about a lot and I've had it figured out for a bit now. Basically for a long period of time Dream is without a dragon, he's the last of the main cast to get one, thus he's kept tabs on potential wild dragon roosts and sightings through general word of mouth - since when a dragon problem arises people usually come to get help from the crown or word generally just gets around fast, and honestly he's been doing this for years. After all he's the main reason Sapnap has his dragon and same for George, for most of their younger years the group pretty much made a pact together that they'd all become dragon riders together so Dream headed the endeavor by finding locations!

The Wraith has been around for a long while as well so Dream has known about him, just hadn't had the opportunity to go out after him properly up until the day he finally wraps up his plan for freedom. Additionally Punz also helps with tracking down the exact location of The Wraith's roost, as he's the one helping Dream with most of his plan to get his freedom.

As for why Dream went after Nightmare/The Wraith specifically, aside from the note of there not being many other wild dragons, it's also a matter of him being drawn to this dragon in particular. I have a whole bunch of notes on how dragon bonds work but when it comes to claiming a wild dragon or even choosing an egg, a person will often be drawn to the one they're most compatible with. In this case for Dream, it's The Wraith - they're both inherently misunderstood and mischaracterized by the smallfolk so their bond is somewhat built off of that fact. The Wraith isn't a monster, it's a beast of fire and magic who is merely doing what it does to survive which unfortunately effects a good chunk of commonfolk and Dream isn't some treasonous and untrustworthy heir to the throne like some people think, he's just a person who made some bad calls in the past.

As for how common dragons are, well they're a rare sight to put it simply. By our modern standards they would be considered critically endangered and while there is a large group of dragons present in Orboros as a whole (especially when compared to The Antarctic Empire) their dragons are effectively the majority of dragons out there, if that makes sense!

Eldritch/Cryptid batfam au where Bruce gives birth to all his kids Surinam toad style.

Don't care if he has wings or is a shadow body because he will have babies pop out of his back. In my head he can only have 3 max and they'll come out something like human children of 9 years old.

How do the holes show up? Idk magic or whatever. How do the babies not fall out while he's fighting crime? There's a translucent film over the holes that keeps the babies safely inside that they break when coming out.

He doesn't actually have sex. This is going to go like the fic Bouncing Baby Bat in which they're souls of the children of Gotham. Tweaking it though by them actually made from fragments of children souls that are killed in Gotham. This way it is explained why there's a gap between the births of his children.

And he does need to give birth in a place that is really fuckin dark or very low lighting at least.

Because I do want him to traumatize the JL so he gets his first batch of kids after already joining the justice league for some time. The first time they're on the watchtower and Bruce rushed to get to the cave because it's safe and dark. He doesn't tell the league anything, but they do see little hands coming out of his back. (Think human babies in the belly pushing their hand or foot out)

The batches are:

Dick, Cass, Jason

Steph, Tim, Harper

Duke, Cullen, Damian

They think that's all Bruce will have especially since they asked him when the next will be and his response is "No more". They just didn't know he meant no more right now.

Cue his actual last batch of Terry, Carrie, and Matt.

Do you want to add Echo and Rift to your AU? If so, what cryptids would you want them to be?

YES.

There are a few reasons that I have not started writing the Cryptid au stories out for real and posting them.

1. I’m not great at writing, it takes me a disproportionate amount of time to write things.

2. Busy moving, and then school

And 3. I WAS WAITING FOR ECHOES OF WISDOM TO COME OUT SO I COULD INCORPORATE IT INTO MY STORIES.

I knew from the moment the first trailer came out that I wanted to have a Cryptid Echo, and in my head, I’ve been calling the Link ‘Lost.’ Rift is good too, but I still like Lost, especially for the Cryptid idea I have for him.

HOWEVER I have not finished Echoes of Wisdom yet. So I won’t be sharing my Cryptid ideas- I can’t solidify anything until I’ve experienced the whole game. And I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who maybe isn’t as far as I am! So I’ll keep quiet for a bit haha.

But I will say- Echo is a Zelda, which means that she has the blood of the Goddess, which gives her God Marks TM and God Powers TM. Whether or not that Power is her echo ability is up for debate.

And at first, I just wanted to add Echo to my Chain but UGH GUYS!!!! GUYS I LOVE THIS NEW LINK!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! I CAN’T NOT HAVE HIM!!!

So the Cryptid cast of main characters has the potential to jump from eleven (technically fifteen) to THIRTEEN (TECHNICALLY SEVENTEEN)

Everytime I see that gif of Otis with the skull face paint I think about whether he would like getting that face paint fucking everywhere on you. Especially your thighs and neck. He'd just tease you about it endlessly, not letting you wash it off for a bit.

I just think he'd love looking at your thighs or touching them after he ate you out and getting that paint on his fingers. Just chuckling and wiping it off on your arms or something while saying something teasing about what a mess you are and shit

Otis definitely seems like he would have a kink for dirtying you and marking you in any way. Either from his handprints and teeth marks, to painting your body with his own come, to even covering you in dirt or mud after letting you "escape" and tackling you to the ground and fucking you before dragging you back to his room.

This would mean that, yes, he would absolutely enjoy getting his face paint smeared all over you. He only dresses like that once a year on Halloween so he would try to make every possible second count. Would love to see your thighs and tits covered in the paint, your mouth and throat not escaping his attention either, and he would spend long moments just staring at you and turning you every which way. Would probably even show you off to their newest victims and force them to compliment you. Getting off on both of you being uncomfortable and humiliated. (Probably then gouges out the victims eyes for looking at "his property")

Otis would then just reapply it and continue to mark you up until you are smeared everywhere in paint, before he would wash you off and start all over again.

Any time one of his "projects" requires paint you are going to get some of it on you in some shape or fashion. Usually it's his handprints on each breast, your ass and thighs, and especially smeared between your thighs. Also his name on various parts of your body. Those times he would leave the paint on you for even longer, chest puffing up with pride if Baby or another member of the family sees you so thoroughly marked by him.

What's Dream's interest in the throne in your AU?

Okay so that is a fun question.

Admittedly Dream has no interest in the throne and honestly he never had any.

He was the second born child and so he grew up never expecting to be put in a position where he would be heir - and to begin with the idea alone of ruling a kingdom is not something he wants. He, in general, wants freedom. He wants to be free to live his life with his friends with little worry, he's fine with being the second son cause there's no real overbearing duties that come with it - and that's how he has lived till recent events in the AU.

It's effectively a freak accident that leads to XD on the throne and then by consequence Dream is the presumptive heir - this leads to Dream being pressured by XD into actually focusing on his duties and his newfound position, which only spurs on his distaste towards the idea of ruling. Him being made heir is in general the main catalyst for the spiral he goes through that makes up the technical first arc of the AU due to his outlook on the mere concept of being king!

There's admittedly a LOT going on in Dream's head about everything including his position as heir but we don't have time to unpack all of that right now.

Which cubs from them has the weirdest name you feel was given to a pretty lion?

Pretty much all cubs I keep from my kings are named after their parents so nothing weird there but sometimes I find hilarious ones when looking at cubs they have sired in other prides... my favorites are-

"Impulse is a crazy thing" a beautiful eyeless fiery colored lioness

"Dumbass" a gray-blue clouded piebald submale

And a series of lions who are all named with a star wars theme ... I love their owner for that
