So, I've been thinking of how hellers celebrate November 5th for the past three years. Seeing that's the date of castiel's death(finally, should have been gone long before this episode), you would think they would crawl back into their holes and bawl over his death. Yet they make new memes, celebrate and annoy the other 99% of the fandom.

His death is like the major thing that happened in that episode of Supernatural that aired on that date.

Sure, castiel had his big PLATONIC declaration of love for Dean. Yeah, he loved Dean as a brother. He loved how he taught him so much about humans. How to love and have emotions. Dean taught him so much about be free to make his own decisions and free will. Heck, Dean even helped castiel when he was nothing more than a human working at a Gas-N-Sip and had a crush on his FEMALE boss. He asked Dean for advice when he thought she was asking him to out on a date.

Even as a genderless angel, castiel always liked WOMEN. There was so much obvious sexual tension between him and the demon Meg. Megstiel even went cannon. They shared a passionate kiss. Meg even gave up her demon ways to pretend to be a nurse in order to stay with castiel in the mental hospital after he took on Sam's mental health issues from him purposely opening the wall in Sam's mind that was stopping him from feeling what his soul went through in hell locked in the cage with Lucifer.

Their delusional ship crashed and burned for good on November 5th. It never was and will be cannon.

They badly need to deal with the fact that Dean was/is 100% cannon straight and always will be. Jensen has said time and time again Dean is straight and that's how he played him. Eric Kripke himself and show writers have said Dean is straight.

It doesn't help that misha collins will not stand up and make them stop. Instead, he eggs them on with their delusions and panders to their sick, twisted delusional ship. He should be ashamed of how his actions has affected his co worker that he claims is his friend. Jensen looks like he would rather be anywhere else them is a photo op with misha, especially if hellers are trying to push destiel in the op.

I say we start making memes commemorating castiels death and post them all over social media on November 5th next year. Nothing mean just posts/memes in his memory.

Is it just me, or is this a lot of perverted? The real photo of little Jensen (at that time schoolchild) is used for perverted appetites of D.estiel fans. Weird - they never use a photo of their lord, master, guru - MC. I am sad that Jensen left SM, but I understand him. These fans insulted him, disparaged, and threatened him. They drove Jensen out of SM and they now use children's photos Jensen for their perverse rebuilding.

destiel is not and never will be cannon. Jensen has stated several times that it's not real and doesn't exist. Stop forcing destiel crap on him at every con. The only reason he hasn't told you guys to fuck off yet is he's to nice of a guy. He also knows that if he would tell you people, he wasn't signing anything related to your sick, twisted, delusional ship or do photo ops that were destiel related yall would go mental on him. He knows that you people would attack him, call him homophobic amd make his life a living hell.

Jensen is never going to validate a ship that goes against what is already established 100% cannon on the show. He has told you people several times that Dean was straight. That was how he played him. Listen to Jensen, he knows Dean better then anyone. He played him for 25yrs. The creator (Kripke) plus writers and other people who had to do with the show have said that Dean was straight. Get over it! Get the mental help you people seriously need. Get on the right medication, and the delusions will stop.

Just because Jensen didn't tell you no for a destiel themed op doesn't mean he's saying it's cannon or real. The same goes for when you shove your destiel themed crap at him for a autograph. He's just to nice to say no to you freaks.

Ops like this needs to stop. Stop shoving your delusional ship on him. Jensen will never say its real. You can always see in the destiel/cockles ops how uncomfortable he looks. misha leads you people on lies and you're to stupid to realize it.

Why do they insist that they don't know why other fans say that Jensen hates their delusional ship. They all know he doesn't like and yet the still shove it on him.

Hellers are so delusional and out of touch with reality. News flash Jai just because Jensen did a photo op with a couple hellers wearing shirts promoting a nonexistent and sick ship does NOT mean Jensen is saying it's cannon.

Do hellers ever get tired of making up stories of what "supposed" to have happened during ops or autos for that matter that only they magically see. Anyone with even half a brain knows that autos ond ops are very fast paced. The guys wouldn't be able to just stand there for 5 minutes holding stuff up talking. Jensen would never just stand there and rub misha's shoulders and talk in his ear. This chick is making them out to be a couple or something and the whole story is just gross. What the hell is a unicorn laugh? These people seriously need mental health help.

If misha would shut his mouth and stop pandering to them and their delusions maybe they would slowly go away. misha will not stop egging them on. These sickobfans are his meal ticket. The more he panders to them using destiel the more of his stuff the buy.

Also some people in the Destiel lane need to make up their minds already whether they will defend Jensen or throw him under a bus. Whether they actually will respect and listen to him, and recognize his respect for Destiel viewpoints, his role in creating it within the canon, along with writers and Misha--yes, in fact, long before the confession--even when his words don't perfectly align with what people hope to hear and that he doesn't hate it, or if they're going to keep enabling how he gets backhanded by the Destiel side. Because there are some people who keep trying to play both sides and I'm about to snap. Pick one and stick with it, it'd be more honest it would be helpful if people stopped putting on a nice facade about supporting Jensen while they kept throwing him under a bus over and over.

I am not insane over all destiels. I must admit there are some seasons in which I am antidestiels but season 6 is NOT one of those seasons. I think Cas should have been so much worse and caused problems for Dean and also homewrecked more and just genuinely fucked shit up and I know you’re thinking Sascha that’s not destiels that’s just casgirl stuff but listen. It actually is destiels because I think that it is imperative to have a thread of Destiel all throughout this because I like when Dean has problems because I like when he cries. Sorry. Most embarrassing most hateful stans out there, ruined the fandom, the actual worst, truly terrible, no there are no "good" antidestiels, I have never come across an antidestiel who didn't behave in a shaming or unreasonable or toxically sanctimonious or outright hateful and bullying way. No you don't get to complain about this post, all I'm doing is turning all the hate antidestiels fling with their toxic generalizations about the destiel lane against them as they deserve and they have earned it ten times over. Imagine watching Supernatural and believing with your whole chest that Sam & Dean aren’t each other’s most important person, nor the one they love most or the one they would sell their soul for. Imagine watching the show and being so blind that all you care about is making a straight character bi and shoving a romantic relationship into a show where it is about the love Sam and Dean have for one another that is world destroying and saving on every level, it can’t even be defined (and this is NOTHING to do with ships IT’S JUST THE ACTUAL SHOW which you all despise as well as Sam and Dean, canon Sam and Dean)

I think what really Bugs Me™ about all this D*stiel discourse™ is that y’all refuse to go this hard for...literally any other demographic.

Every single fandom I have ever been in has involved a wide range of ugly misogynistic comments about at least 90% of the female characters and widespread harassment of people who call that out or even just...don’t share that opinion. I am asked to keep up support for what are considered “bad” or “mediocre” shows just because they have white queer (male) rep in them, but never for imperfect/less-than-stellar shows that have other types of rep such as neurodivergence, disabled characters, trans characters, or people of color. I am consistently told that the only part of me that deserves representation is the part of me that is “visibly” queer. If I end up with a man, I’m not “really” bisexual. If I end up with no one, I don’t deserve to be represented at all. Yeah, having neurodivergent characters is great, I guess, but shouldn’t we be focusing on (cis) queer characters first, isn’t that more important, why are you getting so upset about this neurodivergent character’s treatment, it’s not like they were gay.

When I saw an overwhelming amount of characters who were mentally ill get killed off (usually by committing suicide) in the space of the same year and a half, I saw little to no discussions about it. (The only exception to this was Quentin on The Magicians, and I really have to wonder if that would have gotten the backlash it did if he hadn’t been explicitly confirmed as queer.) I didn’t hear “boycott Netflix” when they cancelled a slate of shows focusing on wlw and people of color. I didn’t hear “boycott the CW” when Black Lightning was cancelled VIA TWITTER. TWITTER, Y’ALL. (Especially since that one was achoice explicitly made solely by the actual network and not the writers and...you know, also had canon queer rep in it...but it focused on people of color so it doesn’t matter, right.) With all of the terrible treatment John Boyega and Loan Tran faced, I never saw anyone say, “Boycott the sequel trilogy” or the writers involved in it.

People are out here acting like D*estiel single-handedly invented slash pairings or is the last bastion of canon queerness and Important Representation™ on TV. When your show had canon queer female characters (who, surprise, surprise, were killed off), and a canon deaf love interest (who, surprise, surprise, was also killed off). Yet every discussion that wasn’t exclusively about D*stiel I saw about this show until the final season were takes about Just How Inexplicably Unlikable all the female characters were. 

I understand that seeing a queer character confess their queerness and then get sucked into the lowest level of hell for doing so is incredibly distressing. I absolutely understand the outrage and would have a similar level of outrage at any work that pulled this shit. As a fellow queer woman, I am appalled that anyone decided this was a valid attempt at “representation,” and I am appalled that anyone would look at this and go, “Yeah, that seems like a good idea, let’s write that.”

That doesn’t change the fact that I see this EVERY. TIME. I have yet to see the same backlash against the trope of Bury Your Disabled that I have around Bury Your Gays. I have yet to see the same discussions regarding pervasive racism and whitewashing in fandom as I do about homophobia. The overwhelming majority of widespread discussion I see of misogyny in fandom is almost solely related to people who ship popular m/m pairings (maybe, occasionally, a popular m/f one), or whether or not certain pockets of the Internet deserve to criticize people who like Twilight. Other than discussions about Stephanie Meyer and Bella Swan, very little of it actually involves female creators and characters. The amount of hypocrisy I have seen in the last few months in regard to how we talk about representation is a level of astounding I never thought I would see.

You wanna talk about representation? Then you include every marginalized group in that discussion. You can’t just pick one underrepresented group and say, “That’s it, there are no other discussions we need to have, that’s the only one that matters!”

If you aren’t willing to be this outraged about other poor forms of representation and the way minorities are treated in fandom, then your feelings aren’t actually about representation, you’re just upset the creators didn’t do a better job with a ship you like. If you don’t care about fighting this hard for queer female characters or queer characters of color, your feelings aren’t actually about queer representation, you just want to be able to gush over the prospect of hot cis white dudes kissing. If you only care about seeing yourself in media without being willing to go to bat for other marginalized people, you don’t care about representation, you care about yourself.
