it happened broskis!! i'm 17 now!! and life is a hellscape :DDDDD

genuinely though, i need to take a moment to look back on the past year and thank the rottmnt fandom for everything it's brought to my life, and all the joy it continues to bring. i joined the fandom sometime in december after seeing a meme, and that led me down a whole fuckin rabbit hole. i had no idea that i would get to meet the most wonderful people, and have the chance to improve my art skills and writing skills in a community that is so earnestly friendly and such a safe space for me. i have no intentions of stopping contributing to it any time soon, but it feels amazing to know that i'll always have this space to think back on as a warm memory in the future.

everyone here is so kind, and creative, and it really helped me in a time where my mental health was fucking terrible and the only thing that helped was drawing fugking turgles sduyfgkusdyfhasdifukh i love you all, i cherish your friendships, whether i know you through discord, or on here, or if i've never spoken to you before, but you've enjoyed the things i've made, you're amazing and i love you

- went out today - walked into 3 different stores in search of a bag for my computer - everything was extremely expensive and I honestly didn't like anything enough to spend all that - came home frustrated cause I need a computer bag for a conference next week

- it was frustrating browsing the shops full of people - it was embarrassing leaving without buying anything after - anyway got home with a lousy humor - remembered there is a thing called online shopping

- oh the joy - found the perfect bag with the perfect measures - of a brand that I know has good lasting products that are not gonna be bursting at the seams in a couple of years - delivery free of charge - half the price of the best bag I saw in one of the shops - package gets here tuesday

I'm sooooooo glad online shopping exists 🥹 truly the best thing for the socially awkward

Do you know what Fairy Tail Parfum is? Well, I dunno either, but, according to their page, they do cosmetics and perfumes in collaborations with different animes and series. They have a deal with Toei so they could do some collabs with Super Sentai!

Some time ago they released a perfume inspired by Shinken Red and today-ish they announced they completed the set for everyone else!

Shinken Blue, Pink, Green, Yellow, Gold, Princess Shinken Red (Kaoru!) and Juzo (!!!) join the line. I'm always fascinated with this kind of collabs and, if you are as well, you can check the products in the link above. I'll post the images below.

They also have perfumes inspired in Gokai Red, Black Condor, Deka Pink and Deka Yellow in a 2 pack, the 5 main Donbros (Meaning, everyone except Jirou) (Poor Jirou), the Sono trio in a 3 pack (POOR JIROU) and Zenkaiser Black (Jesus, they did him dirty).

Again, I'm always fascinated when they do the equivalent of the Shampoo for kids with cartoon characters in it but for adults, so, I might inform if they complete some lines or release new ones.

It just... make me happy.

What the heck is going on. Why are ‘new’ terms being created for…what censorship??

..................don't even get me started. it's so reductive. we have enough words to capture the MANY nuances of 'unalive'. it's so telling when someone refuses to use expressions with connotations that aren't squeaky clean. not critical thinking skills behind that face. censorship for the sake of marketability is peak capitalist brain rot. it's unbearable. what's even worse it to see grown-ass adults talk like that and engage in self-censorship without marketability being a reason. takes years off my life. i said it before and i am gonna say it again but stuff like this is a warning sign for dystopia-adjacent slippery slopes to come.

Okay so, not to be That Guy but i Love how cr portrays ptsd??

Like w Caleb it felt both straight forward, we Know that this is ptsd bc he plays into the ptsd trope early early on, BUT ALSO, he's incredibly subtle w it A Ton, which is Awesome

I want to give Marisha her due bc Laudna's ptsd is SO MUCH (can't wait to get her book)

She both exhibits the avoidant and dissociative trait that caleb does BUT i'd like to add to that the Layers that her disociative symptoms have

Like she Actively Regresses (which we Know marisha plays Really well from watching her play Beau, that was heart breaking btw) and acts younger/more violent/less social Very Suddenly after a trigger.

It's So Telling to me that delilah didn't trigger laudna, she only spurred her on. Orym was the trigger. Which is why she's not blaming delilah she's blaming orym. He's the scary one to her, wether she gets why or not.

Delilah just uses it to her advantage, spurring on her paranoia, but the Reason delilah goes away at the end is bc Laudna snaps out of it (and OH MY GOD matt and marisha were So Good at reading each other in that moment that was a Joy).

Anyhooooo, laudna relatable, laudna justifying trigger by blaming friend for bad feeling.
