What i find sooooooo funny about rebuttals that essentially consist of "well that doesn't work for everybody" or "that isn't true for everybody" is that. Damn. Yeah, you're right! It isn't for everyone, it isn't reflective of everyone, and you're still derailing the conversation!

The thing is, no advice or analysis is going to fit everyone. We as humans are incredibly diverse; that's an amazing feat! It's why we have evolved the way we have. Someone saying something works for them doesn't automatically mean that they are saying it should work for everyone else. So why are you jumping into this to "um, actually" them?

It's much better to say, "if this doesn't work for you, here's another option that does!" Be constructive about it instead of making the post all about you!
