My brain at work today was empty, no thought (which is rather unfortunate considering my line of work but eh, we're thriving). My brain tonight has things. Not many, but things.

Such as: Hesh being both horrible and amazing at comforting you after a bad day. The whole situation would be so endearing I feel.

Like, he'd have 0 clue something was going on initially. You'd walk in the door silently, putting away your things and changing while he sits and watches like 🤨(o.Õ). He'd probably ask if you're okay, then shrug it off initially when you tell him you're fine and let you carry on about your day. Not because he doesn't care, but because he doesn't want to pry and thinks you're allowed to be quiet every so often. That's not a crime or red flag. He (very rarely) has quiet days. His brother and teammate are both generally quiet. Quiet does not always equate to bad.

It's when he realizes you've been in the shower/bath for a fair bit longer than normal. That's what clicks in his head that it's not normal quiet. It's "today sucked and if the world could swallow me up for a few hours I'd really appreciate it" quiet. Which cue the amazing comforting boyfriend role.

He'd grab your favourite pj's (which probably includes an article of his clothing somewhere in there) and a towel and toss them in the dryer to be nice and toasty for when you're done. Then set the bed up for optimal cuddles and movies, making sure your favourite drink and snacks are within reach.

He would totally help dry you off and press small kisses to your forehead, cheeks, lips if you're having that type of day then guide you into your nest of a bed when you're all changed and ready.

He'd help roll you into a sad lil sushi roll and cuddle you until you're just his lil sushi roll (no sad). Want to talk about your day and what's going on in your head? Movie is on pause and you have his undivided attention. Just want to be loved for a few extra hours, he will quietly hold you close and do whatever you need to feel better.

He's sweet, but sometimes more emotionally dense than a pound cake. But we love him anyway.

i have a few things to get from the grocery store but what i really want so so so bad is a fuckin bowl or ramen or udon i need noodle soup like i need to breathe and like yeah i have kimchi noodles w me and i could soft boil some eggs to add to it an even make some tofu but all of that sounds so exhausting and i hate being in the kitchen in this place even tho i will say at least it looks surprisingly clean this morning so maybe i will cause j miss cooking and ive only really made r rice balls and chazuke since ive been here. i really wanna make fish. but also k really jsut what to be able to order full ramen with anything i want but im pretty sure the closest place is over an hour away now that the ramen place in town that was barely ever open anyways shut down for the winter. i fuckin miss philly dude. i miss my home i miss my friends. i know it’s a huge privledge as its not one ive always had but i miss all the good food i could get around me or even jsut the groceries and ingredients needed to make it. i had to order sushi rice online cause the grocery store here only has a shitty overpriced american brand that comes in a tiny ass container that’s like 9 fucking dollars and barely even makes me three cups of rice and literally the only other short grain rice they sell is for fucking risotto (i hate risotto) i can’t even get the milk i like without having to go tot he even more overpriced special natural foods store where it’s like 8 fuckjng dollars for a half gallon :) maybe ill drive to that ramen place just to get the fuck off this island. or maybe i’ll walk around town now that the tourists are finally leaving and see what’s even open anymore (as if half the places weren’t barely open even when the tourists were here). I can feel the bad shit setting in and i’m watching my stash of meds slowly decline with each day i wait to finally get i tot this fucking doctor so i can maybe beg them to please pescrieb me my meds so i don’t die and im just in so done with everything here rn. and i feel like not being able to smoke real weed on months might actually be killing me. im literally gonna have to go park and smoke in my car somewhere soon or im gonna off myself i stg

So my therapist knows I’m trying to lose weight and told me that when I get to my GW (she doesn’t know about the UGW) I should reward myself with a treat and I said I wanted sushi cuz it’s my favorite food so I hit my GW last week and my fiancée said he’d get me sushi and he did but he accidentally left it by the back door instead of putting it in the fridge and neither of us saw it for several hours so obviously it went bad and then I cried a bunch because I’d reeeeeeaaaaally been looking forward to it for like a hot sec so he said he’d get it this weekend as in today and I kept going back and forth on whether or not I even wanted it anymore cuz of the calories so then today I woke up and asked if he was still getting sushi but he’d made plans that wouldn’t let him to get to the place before they closed and I didn’t want him to alter his plans in order to go (even though he offered and eventually insisted) cuz it’s like 30 mins out of his way and I still didn’t know if I even wanted the calories or not so I started sobbing because I want sushi so fucking badly it’s been so fucking long since I’ve had my favorite food but the fucking calories and I couldn’t stop crying but anyways he’s driving to go get the sushi rn but idk if I’ll actually be able to eat it cuz again THE FUCKING CALORIES even tho it’s like 250 cals and all I have to do to stay within my daily cals is swap it out for my usual daily frozen dinner??? (I'm still salty about Kayama's lack of presence in the main magna regarding the Kurogiri reveal. She's just as much a friend to Shirakumo as Aizawa and Yamada, damn it! Then again Horikoshi could be holding off on us for a reason idk we'll just have to wait and see...)

Anyways! Platonic (ft. Rooftop Gang) headcannons!

1. Kayama and Shirakumo have a similar taste in music. I know our world and the BNHA world are different (apparently they haven't reached the moon yet in BNHA?? And Aizawa had a touch screen phone in Vigilantes so I'm assuming their generation and our millennials grew up a tad bit differently), but I can't help but think they would be complete nerds of 80's rock. Smashing Pumpkins, Fleetwood Mac, Red Hot Chili Peppers... These two would always contact each other on when the next album hits and be each other's first choice to concerts and would always blow all their money on band merch. Their all-time favorite song would probably be "Go Your Own Way" by Fleetwood Mac, or "September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire. They always argue about which is better.

2. These two are the BIGGEST video game nerds. Every now and then, when they aren’t busy with school or work studies, Kayama would come over to Shirakumo’s house to play games with him. Aizawa isn’t too fond of video games, and Yamada prefers to listen to different types of podcasts, so that leaves Kayama to be Shirakumo’s gamer buddy, which isn’t bad at all since this girl loves all types of games. From Animal Crossing to the Halo franchise, Kayama has a surprisingly broad range, with her favorite genre of video games being horror shooter games like Resident Evil. Shirakumo isn’t a big fan of horror and is more a fan of free world games like Red Dead Redemption or The Last of Us, though he does make an exception for point and click horror games.

3. Kayama occasionally pops in on the boys’ study sessions. Usually, Yamada would be at the helm tutoring Shirakumo and Aizawa, though Kayama would pop in from time to time to help him with harder subjects like history since she’s smart. She used to host their sessions at her house, though that quickly stopped since she always dressed up as a sexy teacher and got a little too close to the boys while showing them how to solve equations. 

4. They would regularly barge in each others’ homes. Shirakumo was especially guilty of this, as he would use his clouds to fly over to his friends’ room windows and sneak in through through them. It became such a common occurrence that Aizawa, Yamada, and Kayama all decided to just keep their windows open for the cloud boy to come in whenever. Usually Aizawa would be Shirakumo’s favorite victim (he loved watching Aizawa leap out of his skin every time he knocked on the window), though Yamada and Kayama were just as entertaining (Shirakumo once knocked on Yamada’s window and nearly went deaf after the blond screamed with his quirk on. Kayama was a bit more risky for obvious reasons). Kayama was the first one to return the favor, however, and when Shirakumo saw her sitting on his bed in the dark while petting Sushi like an evil mastermind, he let out a high pitched scream that Kayama still holds over his head to this day. 

5. Kayama and Shirakumo "flirt" with each other all the time. You know Ayame and Shigure from Fruits Baskets? How they would say something incredibly corny to each other before suddenly being like, "haha cheers mate." That's these two. Since they hang out on a regular basis, people always make fun of them by calling them boyfriend/girlfriend. One day, they got so fed up with having to explain themselves that they decided, "fuck it, if they want a show we'll give them a show." When they made their first target pass out from a furious blush and a bloody nose, Shirakumo and Kayama made this their "how to keep hoes at bay" strategy. Yamada finds their antics hilarious, while Aizawa always thought it was weird. Every time they "flirt," Shirakumo and Kayama always make sure to say "no hetero" as soon as the other person is gone.

Now for the romantic headcannons!

1. Everything is the same, except Shirakumo forgot to say "no hetero." This made Shirakumo have an existential crisis for about a month. He would always ask himself, "Why didn't I say it that time? Was I being stupid? Or did I actually mean it? What if this changes our friendship forever? Oh God, what if she hates me?" Aizawa would always be the first person Shirakumo goes to to vent his woes, sometimes even coming to his room in the middle of the night. While Shirakumo would ramble about how bad it is to catch feelings for his gal pal, Aizawa would always listen until he's done before telling him to just confess. Shirakumo doesn't, and this routine lasts an entire month.

2. Kayama realizes Shirakumo's growing crush but doesn't say anything bc she wants to hear it from him. This man tries acting like nothing's bothering him, but he was as obvious as Dipper from Gravity Falls (muttering under his breath and hopping at the first opportunity to hang out with her). At first Kayama didn't think much of it, but when she caught him glaring at a couple gawking boys in the hallway, she realized what was also going on.

3. After 3 months of awkwardness, Kayama finally dragged him off on a date. Shirakumo was terrified the entire time, waiting for Kayama to tell him he's not her type, but was shocked when she bluntly told him, "we should start dating" after watching a movie. Everything fell into place afterwards.

4. These two became the hottest couple at UA. Up until the Tasomiya Incident, Shirakumo and Kayama acted a lot like how they did before, except they now had dinner dates, movie nights, and all the fun couple stuff like making out behind the school and genuinely flirting (much to their friends' disgust. Seriously, do these two have no shame?). Kayama loved going shopping, and Shirakumo was more than happy to carry around her stuff on his clouds. Once, they got caught sneaking out to the pier at night and made a brave escape on Shirakumo's clouds. As soon as they got back to his house, they were on the floor, laughing.

5. After Shirakumo's death, Kayama hadn't dated since. Sometimes she would go out whenever her friends would set her up, but Shirakumo was the last time she ever has a serious relationship. She protects Sushi with her life, even as he grows older. Sushi was the last living remnant of Shirakumo, and she wants to keep him for as long as possible.

Little does she know he may not be as dead as she thinks... (Dun, dun dun)

Extrovert or introvert: Actually I’m neither! I’m an ambivert, which is... interesting, I guess. Story time! Since I was a kid, I was always stuck in the middle, bc I fit in both depending on the situation, the people, the context, conditions, etc. I got my confirmation in high school. We were having this personality test kind of class in vocal orientation to see whether we were introverts or extroverts, and in what kind of profession we'd fit more. I came 50/50. The professor, who was also a psychiatrist, made me take a lot of tests, even those in online-completely-not-professional sites, and the results were always the same. So the conclusion was, "Hey, Nic, you're an ambivert. Congrats!" And that was that! 😂

Favourite school subject: Anything that was language-related. I love languages! 

What makes you nervous: Er... many things. One of those could be when I was in school and the teachers started asking questions at random, bc what if they ask me and I don’t know the answer? A nightmare.

Who was your first real crush: There was this boy that went to kindergarten with me who was my very first little boyfriend lmaooo and technically, we never broke up! I just remember that we were A Thing, then summer came, and when we went back, he was gone. I just find it sad that his parents changed him schools and I never got to say goodbye.
