it's a little bit surreal to me to see a brand new zelda game that's post-botw era and not really related to the botw era entirely. like i spent so long waiting for totk that that's still The Newest Zelda Game to me and i'm over here kinda like "wdym there's another, newer one already?"

#anyways sorry to anyone in a discord server with me that i have control of i have not been taking New Thing very well #excited for it? yes. but also its Too New and i didnt have a ton of time to prepare #i don't know of anyone else excited to see the botw-style influence on future zelda games dsjkfdskf i'm so hyped #i've seen some of it and im actually really happy???? i loved botw so so much and totk too #and botw was so influential to video games as a whole that i DOUBT they'd make a game without that influence anytime soon #i even expect a little bit of reference to the calamity/upheaval in eow idk #not much but maybe a passing mention in a history book somewhere. like a little easter egg #i'm happy that we finally get playable zelda too. and it seems like she doesn't know link very well which is HUGE #like my main concern with playable zelda and link (co-op style) was that zelda would end up taking a backseat #yes she'd be playable but there wouldn't be that focus on her yanno?#(also i have few friends who want to play games with me SO. i wouldn't have been able to take advantage of co-op)#im just rambling dsfjkdsj i cant get the game until tomorrow #legend of zelda #echoes of wisdom

So I won't have time to finish the newest Strange New Worlds episode but I will give you my thoughts of the first 20 minutes or so-

Firstly, UHURA IS DOING SO MUCH. TAKE A BREAK. REST WON'T KILL YOU.

Pelia is also like a cool grandma that probably keeps a bunch of cool rocks around her house and a ton of houseplants she got in 93' and has kept alive ever since.

JAMES T. KIRK MAKES A REAL APPEARANCE AND MY GOD HE'S SO COOL. HE HAS MY ENTIRE HEART HE ENCAPSULATES THE BEST PARTS OF KIRK SO FAR I AM EXCITED TO SEE MORE OF HIM.

Kirk is also out here breaking records. Which is such a slay! You go, Jim, break them records.

Speaking of records, jealously isn't a good look on Sammy over here. Neither is that moustache. I should know, I've helped bully the same moustache off a man.

Also no fucking way they mimicked the second pilot ep. of Star Trek TOS with Chapel and Spock playing chess. Chapel doesn't seem to excited to be playing though, can't blame her. I'm a sudoku kinda gal myself. Spock seemed excited to tease and banter with Chapel. Just wait bbg, one day someone will banter back and you can play chess like nerds in peace.

#ouhhhh I am so sore. I like being a cashier the best I like talking to the customers they're all nice and I get to hype them up all the time #but I'm so so ooo o o o o slow and bad at stocking..... I wanted to do stuff before work, but I like blanked out since I'm sleepy (went to bed around 1? 2?? then woke up at 7:11; not terrible but not like Great) then did my required stretchies / looked up stuff for things~ Tomorrow I have my last PT session and follow-up, and then I plan on cleaning my room / generally just chilling out since it has been Forever, but now...I will try and schedule in time for OC thoughts today and tomorrow (still have to decide if Atlas would be primal or astral...and maybe compare some story stuff to make sure it's not stepping on any Canon toes...but maybe we also don't care about that second bit ghffjghfgvcccgkhf).

Phone buying update 👍 gonna have to take a fucking, moment LMAO. I have seen so many beautiful phones to buy. And I will. But I am not that fucking rich. I've been spending a lot of money lately. This is good for my health tho. I'm really excited to, actually do something with my bedroom.

One thing I kinda super want to buy despite being as expensive as a phone is this little... Phone shaped ceramic thing for rings. But I'd focus less on accessories for now more on the real thing.

I'm torn in which model to buy first. My options are that 500 model looking beauty or the baquelita model. I'm more leaning for the type 500 looking cutie. Bc he's stupid cheap. 7500 bc of a dent. There's a fixed one at 15k but do I look like a collectionist? I'm just a faggot. I don't discriminate.

I'm also gonna be wasting money tomorrow. Gotta buy silly things. (Pens, paper. Gonna start journaling).
