honestly think neil and katelyn would become such good friends like. in my heart katelyn is so smart and so down to plot and i do really think she respects andrew as a person even though he scares her on occasion so neil would end up getting along w her so well. i think they’d have a very cunty co conspirator friendship.

i also do think that katelyn struggles to forgive andrew for literally threatening her life for no reason in the same way neil struggles to forgive aaron for literally implying he’s a rapist for no reason and i don’t think either is above criticizing their partners so i think it’d be very beneficial for both of them to have conversations like “i can’t believe your boyfriend literally threatened to kill me.” “oh yeah he’s fr lowkey sexist. he’s just emo though don’t worry about it.”

also the katelyn and neil r secretly twins agenda is basically canon and in my heart they r both brown but for different reasons (neil is a quarter pakistani in my mind and also just tan and katelyn is half mexican to me) and i think they’d both find it rly silly that people say they look alike. it’s like delusional girls hyping each other up but instead of about guys liking them it’s about not looking alike.

also their friendship would give the twins aneurysms and after all of the mindless andrew minyard has never done anything wrong ever in his life truthers ive seen on this website lowk need him to suffer a little bit. need aaron to suffer because he’s unironically a blond man.

Okay, but can we talk about how this season had the MOST solid teams? For a season that started episode 1 with barely any concrete alliances, by the end of the season, almost every team was in ride-or-die mode to an extent that we usually only see from one or two factions at most in other seasons.

cletho enjoyers have been having a field day over here with cleo and etho’s run at painting the town and grian was the only one who listened to etho when he said that they were outnumberedd and outgunned and sacrificed himself with the intent to get gem into manageable territory for everyone else.

the mounders went into the last battle together and joel and bdubs died in the same fight, barely blocks from each other. pearl, who’d spent the entire last episode telling the boys not to die on her and offering they kill her when she got low, was the last survivor and was Very Not Okay with it.

the heart foundation was a bit funny, cuz bigb was always one foot out the door, so his ‘do you have an alliance/ ehhhh’ while they lived was fairly on brand, but tango betrayed scar and walked knowingly into his death with him because he wouldn’t betray skizz.

gem and the scotts were, of course, ride or die from day one. even with scott doing his social gaming and gem’s apocalypse, scott and impulse both gave her their yellow lives and scott gave her his red as well.

and even, in the end, scar, who’d gotten genuine offers of alliance from 3/4 of the factions and denied them all for one reason or another, still ended up teaming with pearl at the end and managed a heartbreaking final fight.

Lander runs a convenience store (he got it after his parents died) and he has a huge crush on very broke Gavvin who showed up one day out of the blue. And so Lander hires him and lets him live with him in the back of the store and honestly it's love at first sight for Lander. But Gavvin is much more "mmmmm kinda wary of you for hiring a guy off the street you've never seen before but I accept the job thank you".

Basil unfortunately is a teacher who has to not only put up with his teenage students but also Lander (and their very weird friendship) and Gavvin (very socially awkward new guy in town who asks a lot of questions to him specifically). Basil is chronically done with everyone while everyone is like "ah yes, he can help me with my problems".
