i don't really think about critical role a lot anymore because idk i'm just disconnected with where they are as a Brand now vs the way they used to be but can i just say. caleb widogast is one of the most interesting things to have ever come out of that show and i will never forgive shadowgast shippers for the way y'all characterized him in fanon.

the sheer number of incredibly intricate worlds and characters that i have created with people who i am no longer friends with so that i can no longer talk about those characters or use those settings. i only got half the dog in the divorce do you know what i mean

interpreting 'Noticing Things and Figuring Stuff Out is my entire character concept and I even specifically have a feat that gives me bonuses to passive perception and investigation but DMs literally never use passive scores and I keep beefing my active checks' as felix being overstimulated by information overload and unable to focus on the correct/ useful things, for my own sanity

#I knew this was gonna happen but it REALLY sucks that I'm also consistently rolling absolute dogshit #like I knooow passive scores are Weird in dnd and DMs in general never use them either because they don't think to or don't want to #or it's just kind of hard to know when they would apply--#but it's still a fucking bummer. like this feat wouldn't exist if passive scores were never meant to be used at all #every skill has a passive score but the character sheet has a separate special place JUST for passive perception like--#it's MEANT to be relevant!!#'you're traveling for awhile and everyone give me a perception check' this is passive skill time!! mine is 20!!!#this dm in particular is never gonna use those passive scores lmao. OH WELL!#I knew that going in but making a LOT of perception and investigation checks last night and then rolling ass constantly REALLY bummed me ou #I took Observant anyway because 'I can read lips' is completely cut and dry and I needed the +1 wisdom so like #I did this on purpose I took it anyway on purpose I don't regret it #just you know. staring at those passives on my sheet last night wistfully. bitterly. rolling threes over and over #it feels like 'make an athletics check to lift that thing that's well within your canon mechanically established weight limit'#like come on man. what do I notice at a baseline of 21 and then what else could I pick up with an active roll #maybe not every time but at least not NEVER

Are all my fellow minecraft lovers aware of the movie in the works?

#wacky watermelons #in denial about it being live action #honestly im not even sure what info is accurate because its far out and has had (apparently) a rocky ass development #and also “minecraft movie” has been dreamed up so many times by people in the community that of course theres many hits there #side tangent. a little pet peeve of mine is whenever they make video game movies and then just. don't name them #although thats probably a symptom of the larger issue that plagues video game movies. they dont have anything new to say.#i mean. thats why the dnd movie was good. because they actually created a story. thats why the mario movie was boring #because it felt like the story was secondary to showing all the characters #for all fnaf movie's disregard for the games story. it forged its own instead. and was good because of it!#i worry that theyre not going to treat minecraft like a sandbox and are instead going to write a story like a museum tour #uh. my point.#theres not a lot of reliable info beyond a handful of actors and a release date. but. i hope its good. i am preparing for it not to be #anyway i have furries to draw. cheers

His assassin rank is called “the Deceiver” and his outward affectations of dogged affection for most of his teammates but especially his boss cover up a sharp, quick mind and even quicker reflexes that you would not want to be caught on the opposite side of.

Spent some time at work trying to come up with a fun character concept for a possible rogue pc for the next campain. This is what i got so far:

A) little fancy lad who is a fallen noble (maybe gothic lolita inspired outfit?) Who is a little snob who basically still acts like a prince despite his family having lost their status

B) stereotypical edgy looking rogue dude (all black leather outfit, face hidden, looks badass and secretive) but has the personality of a puppydog and is just the sweetest ray of sunshine ever (no idea what background to chose for him tho)

C) very chill goth dude who ended up becoming a rogue mostly for the aesthetics (80s goth inspired look) backstory is a hermit because he spent some time alone to find himself, write poetry and make melancholic goth art after his first gf broke up with him

Guess ill wait and see how the other characters are and which concept might work best in the group? I think they would all be fun to play tho

#its so hard to find fun concepts for a rogue tbh #but were playing thief campaigns so we definitely need a rogue and the person who played one until now is the dm now so someones gotta do it #also im not sure if i like any pther class thats useful for this storyline #i kinda wanted to play a very religious lawful good cleric but thats not super useful for heist stories so #idk i think id like to play a wizard most but we already have a wizard and its more fun to have diffetent classes #so uh yeah rogue it is #i tried drawing them (because thats how i make characters idk) and i rly like my goth boy a lot!#but idk how well he would work with the other characters so hmmm #his name is obsidian btw #yes ill keep all my concepts and maybe ill get to use them some other time #i would also enjoy playing a magical girl-aesthetic vigilante rogue (in a very pastel lolita outfit) who is very fun and girly but #but idk how much sense that makes? in the story and everything #im also considering character vouces for all this because i wanna have a fun time playing hehe #anyway thsts what ive been thinking about today #mine #dnd

Ok so I royally screwed up the threading when I was posting this to Twitter which is why this is late but anyways. I watched OFMD and played DnD today which is why we get Janos with Jim’s season 2 hair. Jim is an nb icon and gender goals
