The barest hint of a smile tugs on the corners of Nancy’s lips. “Nah, I figure if you wanted me dead by now you would’ve already killed me. Even despite your failed attempts. You would’ve figured out a way eventually.” “Hm,” Nancy says, moving to the other side of the counter. “Plus, why leave out poison apples all day long? What if you forget they’re poison and accidentally eat one and then boom. Dead. All because you wanted a red delicious.” Nancy hums, seemingly agreeing with Robin and Robin can’t believe that one: Nancy has let her into her house, two: they’ve gone this long without getting into an argument.

god put me in a timezone way ahead of all u guys bc he knew i'd be too powerful if i was Online at Regular hours. no instead peak tumblr time is happening for me between the hours of 11pm-4am when i am trapped in the jaws of slumber. i wake up at 6am bleary eyed and have to catch up on the Tumblr News Of The Day. meanwhile u are all receiving my Prophecies and Visions in the wee hours of night or the early hours of morning for ur stupid timezones. i am literally living in the future. i am like the feral dog chained to my doghouse outside barking and snapping and u are all sitting inside eating ur dinner looking nervously out the window going ummmm are u sure ur dog doesn't bite and god's like no no it's fine it's on a leash and ur like ummm ok if u say so but joke's on all of u bc the leash isn't going to shut me up so u still have to listen to me barking out here while u log onto ur little tumblr blogs at "normal hours." u fools. u absolute fools. god cannot silence me he's been trying for years yet i am still here!!!!

i think it's fine to attribute some desire to biology, like wanting to have kids. like yeah I'm sure a lot of it is the living creature need to proliferate. it doesn't bug me. same as acknowledging that love is dopamine or whatever. a cynic saying love is just chemicals in our brains isn't a gotcha. like ok we as humans were so driven and fascinated by our capacity to love that we found the exact juice that produces that feeling and gave it a name. that's awesome, actually, i dig that, i love that. with my chemicals.
