here's a silly something that was going to be a thing of its own but i thought it was much better as a blurb <3
“kaeya,” you call, running your fingers over a midnight blue t-shirt with a cat and the word ‘meowlicious’ embroidered on it in silver. “come take a look at this!”
hearing no response, you turn, only to find kaeya’s hoodie-clad figure next to the hat section, where a wide variety of them sit on display. the trolley sits to the side, abandoned in favor of a ridiculously colored hat that now sits on his head.
“what?” he asks, a twinkle in his eye. “you don’t think i look handsome like this?” he poses like a model on the runway. with his midnight-colored hoodie, white sneakers, silver earrings, eyepatch and rainbow beach hat, he makes for a comedic sight.
the price tag dangles over his eyes, the cherry atop this absurd cake. a smile spreads across your face and laughter bubbles up in your chest.
“you look very handsome,” you tease. “i’d definitely pay—” you reach for the tag and flip it over. “five ninety nine for you.”
“is that all i’m worth?” one hand flies to the center of his chest in feigned astonishment. he catches your wrist with the other when you begin to move away. “i was under the impression that i’m worth far more than a meagre five ninety nine.”
“oh, you are.” you flick his forehead playfully. “but the standard rule of department stores is that i pay what’s on the tag.” you stick your tongue out at him, intertwining your fingers with his.
“touché. it looks like you’ve struck a bargain. take me home, then, my love.”
“we’ve got to pay for our stuff first, my love.”

Not all who wander are lost - South Shroud
South Shroud Landing │ Upper Paths │ Buscarron's Druthers │ Urth's Gift
"During my travels, I met a man who mentioned visiting the Black Shroud as a young lad. He talked about the forest with both reverence and fear in his voice.
Of lush trees that seemed to drown out the sun itself.
Of bubbling streams that hosted beastkin larger than fully grown hyur.
Of roots so big and old they were tearing apart ancient fortresses.
It got me thinking.
Of the trees that gave shade during warm summer days.
Of beasts that my sisters hunted for food.
Of stories of past civilizations told by elders.
Curious how things I'd grown to find pleasant during my childhood seemed to scare this traveller, who'd only heard the deafening silence of the cold nights and missed the warm laughter of a family around the campfire."
Bonus! Alternative pic of Urth's Gift since I really liked the colors on it

I should post more here, but i just havent been playing ttrpgs at all lately and havent been having Ideas or anything. I could try to make fandom posts more often, but the dimension 20 fandom has gotten So Big since I was last a poster in it. I missed a single season like season five or something, and my horrible ADHD means i’ve been playing a very slow game of catchup. I try to watch a season if I catch it while it’s coming out but it still takes me a while, but i’ve skipped so many seasons in the process and I wanna go back and watch them but i never find the time anymore.
Especially because the dropout app on my phone is lowkey broken, if i play it Picture in Picture or while my screen is off for Just Audio, the app stops and i have to reopen it to resume, so i just keep the video open but i cant do anything else when i’m watching dropout cuz it closes, and i can’t just go desktop cuz my main podcast hours are when i’m walking to work. Is there a Spotify rss link?
Anyway, i had a riz gukgak type url a few years ago, and then i totally deleted my entire main blog so. Actually, no, i just Moved??? I think i either forgot my password or- Oh no right, my DMs were broken and i got tired of it :(
Anyway, enough rambling, I was just reminiscing, I’m a littol stoned, but i’m really enjoying Burrow’s End. I’m on the finale rn but i opened tumblr and it closed and i havent reopened it yet cuz i Wanna Blog, and so i’m gonna get back to it in two minutes, but maybe I will try to post more :)

ok real quick general webcomic idea post:
so basically, i had an idea a while back while working on my own interpretation of hell/the afterlife in general for a separate thing, that pretty much boils down to funny slice-of-life office shenanigans but all the characters are some sort of yokai/demon/other supernatural being (with a few exceptions) and it was just. very chill and mainly character focused with no real plot but some like multiple part comics and maybe more story-heavy character backstory specials every so often or something.
i thought it'd be fun, it combines like, a lot of shit i like (it has elements similar to touhou AND random christian symbolism, truly the shook bingo card) plus i get to design fun characters and just do dumb shit with them which is My Favorite
idk this is probably a horrible explanation cjbcvj but uhhh have some design concepts and a rough formatting mock-up, ill talk about this more tmmrw probably bc lord knows i am going to get no sleep at this rate-
(edit from a year and a half into the future: man it's really funny how little from takoshi's original concept art still applies. like, the general premise is the same but like aside from that he just. really isn't the same guy hfndkfkd- like modern takoshi is not actually a stupid asshole fuckboy (he just acts like on bc Trauma Reasons), he does not have any powers, i dropped whole demon sigil thing like 3 months after making him, and soon enough even if design won't be the same lol (corporate hell takoshi really needs a redesign). characters really do grow and change as you develop them huh lol-
...he does still belong in horny jail tho that's still correct (just slightly less so than before))
yeah that's about all i can think of for now uhhh feel free to send questions about anything!!! i would love to rant incoherently about this!!!
