I think I know why there’s so much confusion over whether or not these records will have the bonus tracks or not. There seems to be two different versions of this vinyl, one meant for the UK (I assume no bonus tracks) and one meant for another country (with bonus tracks). 🫣

Regardless of what happens on the 20th, those who are keen on getting one should get one anyway. It’s a beautiful record and you’re supporting CATB and your local record shop. Best of luck to everyone!

gonna literally throw virtual knives at the next person who says 34 & 16 need to step up in playoffs as if half the problem in previous years wasn’t management not surrounding them with complimentary players. like there is only so much two players can do. a team wins a cup, not individual players. like there’s a reason people you wouldn’t assume have a cup, have a cup, and that’s because they were part of a team that was built to support the name players.

i don’t need flashy deadline adds because a lot of the time it ruins team chemistry and things fall apart after a round. i just want a team that will go to war for each other, a team where people know what role they’re there to play and do it well, a team that has depth players they can call on when injury happens, because those are the kind of teams that win cups.

like yeah some of the greatest players have cups. but so do a bunch of guys you’ve probably never heard of. because it takes a whole team.

at the risk of sounding incredibly pathetic I have been thinking recently about how much I miss being in a close friend group of girls. like my entire childhood through highschool i was always one of a pack of like four girls and then when I went to college my friend group expanded to like. everyone in my year bc there was only like 13 of us. but only like three of those people were girls and i was never Super close with them and then when covid hit the group sort of splintered. like i have plenty of Girl Friends but theyre like joefferry’s friends first or my guy friends’ girlfriends or we just dont see each other often enough to be like Close Close. idk ive been reading a lot of books featuring women friend groups and Im like…. wah :(

ok. moving out update. today i:

talked to my beloved ex supervisor / mentor (<- SCARY!!!!!) to ask her about her experiences living by herself esp as a short woman (which is not a big deal except for how it is + how my parents think it is) and get her advice abt how to navigate that experience psychologically and practically. i asked her if we could talk abt this very impulsively on thursday after not having the courage to do it for almost a year btw (<- BRAVE!!!!!!!!) and i was still too scared / embarrassed to ask her some stuff abt safety / self defense lol but it mostly went really well!

started making a budget and determined that a) i may be getting overpaid somehow (😳) b) i may be getting double or even triple charged for my health and life insurance (😒) so now i need to call hr on monday and figure all of that out. and also c) i suck at math but we knew that. but i forced myself to figure out what i did wrong so that’s an achievement

made my first ever student loan payment 😀🔫

booked a tour of one apartment and attempted to book a tour of another (the same place i was looking at in may) but their website was glitching out and then they didn’t answer when i called to schedule it over the phone which. hm. 😒 but yeah the tour(s) will happen mid week next week and im going to ride the shuttle to the apartment complex(es) and back to campus to see what that’s like too!

posted on local subr*ddit asking for recommendations for those two apartments + other places in the area. haven’t gotten anything back bc i just made the post but 😎👍

read a bunch of old journal entries from 2021 to remind myself of what it was like to move onto campus and how i pushed through my family’s hurt and disapproval to live the way i needed to. haven’t finished reading it all yet but i will tomorrow (while also doing my stupid homework 🙄)
