After years of avoiding it Laurmau has me by the throat

I can’t stop picturing Laurence touching Aphmau’s face to figure out what she looks like

Garrance has had me by the throat since they first interacted and I can’t stop picturing them doing the same thing

Garroth takes his helmet off for the first time around Laurence and they sit in silence while Laurence touches his face

i know we all are but i’m honestly really disappointed in the turn mystreet took. i have no issue with something lighthearted taking a darker turn…but it wholly took all focus off any other character and put it solely on aphmau, aaron, and ein. (mainly aarmau)

which, to play devils advocate; they ARE the main characters of the story in technicality. however, mystreet honestly felt like it was meant to give every character a more equal opportunity for storylines.

i’m not the biggest fan of side/supporting characters being there only for the purpose of the main character/couple. there was so much storyline lost and missed bc of how everything went—mainly just before emerald secret and past.

idk i know we all know this already but i just had to put those thoughts out there.

Aaron is such a controversial character within the Aphmau community. The community itself isn't as controversial other than the existence of Aaron Lycan. (And the ships ig)

I've never watched MCD because 3 eps in and I found it too boring to continue. So I'm only covering MyStreet and PDH. (And additionally FCU)

I can see the development of this character throughout the whole series but it's just- executed in a bad way. And also the fact his character only consists of : ultima, fuck my parents, and omg aphmau.

I think over the course of MyStreet season 5 we get to see more of the relationship between Aaron and his family(especially Melissa) and I enjoyed watching the change in their bond, but other than his family issues and his love for aphmau, I don't really see much of him as a character. It's like his personality is just.. Daddy issues and my girlfriend.

PDH was.. something. It was enemies to lovers but make the female protag have multiple other guys swooning over her which honestly have more chemistry than the male protag. The whole FC and Shu thing is cute and all- but just seems like a bit of a stretch like a 2018 wattpad fanfic.

FCU, again, was just us seeing more of Aaron's daddy issues(I don't think his mom played a role in this) and his absolute obsession over Aphmau.

I can't help but see a lot of potential for Aaron as a character, and I wished we could've seen more to him rather than what we have on screen.

Either way, I am still biased over Aaron simply because Jason's voice acting is superb in the MyStreet series.

one thing about is that when i’m a hater, i hate. you will likely never catch me saying a single positive thing aaron (mcd AND mystreet). oh you like his backstory? too bad i don’t care. you think aaron was the best choice for aph in mcd? he lacks a single ounce of charisma or character and i could not name a single cute or iconic moment between him and aphmau. boring. sloppy. yawning. lazy. oh, but you like him in mystreet? that’s even worse. like why do you like a super senior who went after a freshman… mcd aaron is me hating to hate (mainly) but mystreet aaron is literally like one of the worst ever. and then i also hate aaron because he’s a self insert of jason (ew) and caused the derailment of multiple characters… but also i hate just to hate. i love too much i need to balance it out with some nice, fun hate. and that hate just happens to be directed to a shirtless amalgamation of pixels who tries to be angsty and is sometimes a werewolf (as well as barbie diamond castle)

“Kawaii-Chan” Redesign !!

This is Kanae Ashida ! I decided to redesign “Kawaii-chan.” To not fit beneath the Stereotype for Japanese people, and to be not so creepy ! She still is Japanese and fluently speaks it! Here’s an info dump/ head cannons I have for her !

First off Kanae is apart of the student Council and runs a Shipping page where people send in photos of their fave couples and Kanae rates and puts positive info about them out ! She also runs the school page !

• Her favorite color is Blue and Yellow !

• She often helps with transfer students since she knows 4 languages !

• She’s definitely a weird popular kid !

• She also owns a private page where she posts her outfits and Make-up !

•Definitely has had a crush on Zane since 9th Grade !

Rewriting Ein (Part 1)

I've previously made an analysis on Ein as a character, so here we go at my attempt on rewriting him.

I'm not trying to perfect him or fix any flaws because I think Jess did a way better job at executing him as a character. This is more so my take on Ein and if Ein wasn't Ein, this is how I'd write Ein. I call dibs on this.

It's not really about Ein as a character, it's about the characters around him. We never got the time to explore him any deeper other than the backstory we were given when he was briefly introduced as 'from the Western wolftribe'

I'd wanna introduce two new characters, name not relevant it's only the role that matters. But for the sake of making things easy and making this self-insert-ish, I've named them Erielle and Arya. Because sure.

Erielle would be Ein's little sister. A simple raven haired human. Yes, human. We've established (at least from Aaron) that Ein takes pride most in his ears and tail. So what would that mean for him if he had a human for a sister?

I imagine Erielle not being able to fit in with Ein and his friends if she were human. It would make Ein overprotective of her and explain his obsession over his ears and tails. He'll soon realise being a werewolf gives him power and acceptance. He'll either take pride in being a wolf to protect Erielle, or take pride in being superior to Erielle. Which one? You decide, but I prefer the first one.

Second oc I'd introduce is a crush from the Western wolf tribe, Arya. Again, the name doesn't matter but I made it begin with a because I'd like her to be an Aphmau lookalike. Like practically identical to Aphmau but instead of Aph's hazel-brown-orange-ish eyes(her eyes are orange right-??), I'd imagine Arya to have blue eyes. This could be a nice factor to contribute to Ein liking blue. I'm aware you don't need a reason to like a certain colour, but it seems like a nice little touch to his character and gives us more knowledge of Ein both on the out and in.

Rewriting Mystreet because I can and I have custody over it

This time it starts with Phoenix Drop High and Aphmau dates Laurence because Laurmau stole my heart

Aaron and Aphmau don’t have a creepy age gap they are two years apart and don’t get any feelings for eachother until they are adults

Katelyn isn’t constantly abusing Travis instead it’s the friendly laugh and arm punch but she doesn’t realize her own strength and punches him a little too hard

Laurence keeps his long and red hair until he is an adult and he is blind he will always be blind

Katelyn and Aphmau are the extrovert adopts the introvert

Zane has a crush on Kawaii~Chan all throughout high school but she doesn’t know he exists until him and Aphmau get into an argument

That’s all I have so far I’m making this up as I go

FIRST POST FOR APHBLR !!

hiii here are some of my redesigns for my MCD rewrite!!! The designs are very rough and are NOT final btw i just felt like posting these sketches

+ one fun fact abt each design :

▪︎ Aph's markings can damage any cloth it touches; the only exception is her cloak. Materials such as leather and metal gain less damage, however she prefers to wear clothes that are lightweight as they complement her style of combat (lots of running, surprise attacks)

▪︎ Garroth's cape was a gift from Dale when he first became a guard of Phoenix Drop. That's why its a lot newer than the rest of his armor

▪︎ Laurance's home, Meteli, trades a lot with pirates, so their clothing and jewelry also follow a similar style. He also wears a lot of accessories such as beads and earrings but i forgot to draw them lmao

▪︎ Nana, like all other meif'wa, has eyes with cat-like properties; yellow sclera, clear night vision, colorblindness, the like

▪︎ Dante used to live in the Eastern Wolf Tribe before meeting Aph, so he wears white padded clothing for camouflage + warmth. Although i might change the design cuz i dont rlly like it

▪︎ Katelyn keeps her hair long despite it being a nuisance in battle because her siblings love to braid them when she's off-duty (also i forgot to draw her scars dammit)
