Would toad peach like streetwear?

while she doesn’t get much opportunity to express herself in a casual way, i think she would enjoy streetwear as a way to connect with her people and for the creativity that it takes to put the outfits together

so not something she really wears but might keep tabs on alongside other areas of fashion spectator style

toadette is big on fashion but idk if that necessarily is her alley so they mostly discuss fashion most relevant to them (read: the near identical dresses they got goin on)

when doing the tutorial for using the ball to get items in Block Tales, you get an hp+ card. terry gets upset by that, and says that he already has multiple copies of that card. if you wake up and choose violence, you can see that terry has 1000000 hp total. assuming he has a base of 10 hp, since each card is +5hp, that's 999,990 / 5, which is 199,998 hp+ cards, which is 599,994 bp, far more than the player's 30. he also has launcher and maybe ante up and baller in his build, which would up the bp by atleast 9 depending on how many he has on that card. assuming he only has 30 bp and they're all hp+ cards, he has 999,850 base hp, which means, if terry only leveled up hp, he would be level 199,970.

so you probably want to stay on terry's good side if you like living

what exactly is ""rendering""?

HELLO HI YES HELLO

*ahem* I've had this particular ask for a while now. iirc i recieved it around the time I posted the "rendering practice for the hunger games simulation" thing (to which I have gotten comments that made me wanna do a follow up for laterrrr)

I wanna preface this answer by saying I've only just recently started practicing 'rendering' to try and expand my horizons with art, so while I will try my best to explain, i also recommend you go look at other tutorials/guides online

now, with that said...

what rendering is to me at least is the process of making your art piece look like it has depth, like it has dimensions and could be something three dimensional/"realistic"

something along those lines

now, let me make you an apple to kinda give an example!

shape down (refs are a godsend)

now some base colors!

for this learning attempt i separated the stem and the skin into different parts/groups!

separating the objects into pieces is one method i've observed when it comes to rendering! another method is to have all the parts of the subject merged as one whole thing where all of the colors are done on one single layer, the texture on a different, the shading on another and so on!

now we do a texture on this fruit! switching between subtly different shades of red with a bit of yellow (the yellow lines on the right will be removed)

finally, some shading and blending the colors!

for the shadow i used the multiply layer effect and for the lighting I used the screen effect so the texture is still visible on the apple

and uh yeahg!

Month 11, day 8

So hey hahaha anyone remember this tutorial project I was doing 5ever ago? The one with all those objects I was modeling over and over and over again to get modeling practice and all that?

Finally decided to take it back up again :)

I skipped the whole modeling part since I did get my practice in with that part of the tutorial and went straight to the UV unwrapping lessons (which I already knew how to do lol) and now we're on texturing (which I... mostly know how to do. I mean I've made all those procedural textures but this is mostly using images to texture the objects which is a whole different beast so I'm learning a lot but also skipping parts I already know)

But yeah! Yay, learning things and practice on the things I already know! :D

Can you do a step by step tutorial on how to read and use ur interactive fanfic for Lackadaisy? I’m having trouble accessing it and am not quiet sure what to do. I’m sorry if I’m being a pain, I’m not very good with these things! 😭 have a good day/night :)

Download the UTDM file off google drive, open it with any browser - chrome, internet explorer, firefox, whatever you use. It's an .html file, which is basically a "website" you open up in a browser. Just very basic and stripped down, lol.

If you download the .html to an android phone or android tablet, open with a browser app. Do NOT use "HTML Viewer", youll just get gibberish.

If you have an iphone, ipad, macbook, etc there's a whole rigamarole bc they don't like to read .html files and stopped supporting them. This post links to another post to help with Apple stuff; i cant really troubleshoot or help because I dont have any apple products.

If you delete the .html file you'll also lose the "saves" in it. Moving and renaming it is fine.
