C14. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash?

in terms of complimenting each other's personalities, we tend to balance each other out. eren can be passionate and loud, while i am a little more on the quieter and reserved side. he's definitely more abrasive than i am, so i try to be extra polite to make up for his bluntness. also i'd say we both are undeniably angry people, so we have to keep each other in check when it comes to that.

our personalities can sometimes clash because we both can be pretty stubborn. i know eren is very free-spirited, which makes it rather difficult to convince him to do things that he doesn't agree with. but i can be very similar, so we occasionally get into small arguments because of that.

Aw hey Mack! This week has been kind of a rollercoaster (emotionally, assignment-wise), but I know it’ll be okay as long as I don’t give up. 😊

Thank you for sending this! (In no order) five things that make me happy are:

1.) Sharing food, especially food I’ve made. I often cook for my family, and I get happy whenever I see someone eating something I made in the fridge. I also like providing for my friends at school or for someone who’s starving because they forgot their lunch. Even if I didn’t make it, sharing food is something I like doing. I always appreciate when it’s done for me. My grandma is by far the best cook in our family, I also feel a small sense of pride and joy when she compliments what I make.

2.) Playing piano. Even if I procrastinate practicing, a very unique feeling flutters in my chest when the melody is flowing just right and I get to sit there and just make music.

3.) Ranting about my favorite characters/stories. I’m one for character analysis and stuff like that, I latch very hard onto things that interest me, so when someone gets excited with me or even just listens when they have no idea what I’m talking about, it means a lot.

4.) Interacting with little kids. I’ve babysat before, I have a little sister, I enjoy taking care of people, I know it isn’t always easy, but the highs are worth the lows when caring for children, in my opinion :)

5.) Staying up late. I find it therapeutic. It’s quiet, no inhibitions, no expectations.

the doorknob twists, followed quickly by the door swinging open. "first snow this winter!" hide exclaims. he tosses his gloves and hat on the table. "perfect day for some hot chocolate don't ya think?" he wraps his arms around you and kisses your forehead.

"mmm! my favorite!" you smile and pull him excitedly into the kitchen. "hide? can you grab the mugs?" you ask bashfully. he chuckles and nods.

"no problem, short stuff." he teases as he reaches into the cabinet. he promptly places two mugs on the counter while you heat the milk.

"thanks, love." you say softly, stirring the milk on the stove. "remember where we got those mugs?" you ask.

"our trip to yokohama! we need to go back soon." he replies. you nod in agreement as you pour the cocoa packets into the pot. hide comes up behind you and gently holds your waist.

"smells amazing, honey. i can't wait to drink it!" he smiles and kisses your cheek once more. you pour the hot cocoa into the mugs. "luckily for you," you say playfully, it's ready." you turn off the stove and and hand him a mug.

"cheers!" you tap your mugs together and take a sip. "ahhh..." hide smiles and nods. "i was right! perfect day for hot cocoa."

Febuwhump 2023 Day 15

Self Sacrifice

Kira and Insanity stood on the roof of the local bell tower. The rest of the squad were around them on various rooftops. Another titan breakout moved towards a nearby city, the Regiment was requested to stop the advance before it got too close to the walls. The two have been staying with the Scouts for almost two months, helping with their expeditions and other duties. Kira's tail flowed in the gentle breeze as she sniffed the air.

"They're drawing close. The wind reeks of blood." Erwin walked up next to Kira. His eyes locked on the horizon.

"You remember the plan, right?"

"Insanity and I will lure them away from the town and the rest of the Corp will take care of the rest." He nodded and shot a flare. The green smoke trailed behind and Kira jumped off the tower. Insanity quickly followed her with his gear. She sped up with the gas and glided toward the oncoming front line. The young god quickly caught up to her and disconnected his gear. He grew large enough to rival the onslaught of titans. Kira quickly jumped up onto his shoulder, her blade drawn. Insanity roared and ran towards the front line. He turned sharply towards the trees and Kira flew off him. The girl quickly sliced through the nape of each titan she came across. She flew around in wide arcs taking out those who grew too close to his own nape.

Insanity tore through the tree line, and a large group of the ravenous humanoid creatures ran after him. After the god made it to the woods, the forest shook as more gas tanks and grappling hooks fired. At least half of the Regiment went to work cutting down each foe with ease. Kira swooped down, finishing the last one. Her blade was cloaked by steam from blood clinging to the steel.

"Alright let's head back to finish up any stragglers." Insanity held back for a minute before heading toward the town. Kira flew where the horses were being kept hidden away. Many of the scouts already left, leaving Kira almost alone with a few horses scattered around the trees.

"Hey, Kira!" She turned to find Jean and Connie walking up behind her. "That was good work out there."

"Oh," she looked away from the tall boy. His light brown hair ruffled in the wind. "Th... thank you..." Connie placed a hand on her shoulder, the girl met his light gaze as he smiled.

"You've got a real knack for this. You probably could have been top of the graduating class."

"You think she could beat Mikasa?"

"Maybe,"

"Oh, I couldn't have," her cheeks grew red and she shook her head. "I'm not even close to her skill level."

"Come on you guys, we need to catch up with the others." Armin walked up behind the group, leading their horses to them. The blonde boy hopped up onto his mount, the others following suit. Kira hopped up onto the back of Armin's horse, she looked out towards the open field. The horses sped towards the city, her wings close to her body.

The boy's chatter was interrupted by the sound of a flare shooting high into the air. All of them turned to where it came from. Black smoke trailed through the air.

"An Abnormal? We haven't seen one in a while." Kira's eyes widened as they drew close to the city. She quickly leaped off the horse and into the air. Steam trailed behind her as she sped through the sky. Her eyes darted to find Insanity among the horde of titans.

"Insanity!" The girl dove towards him, her eyes locked onto the creature following him. It ran towards the enlargened god, and she screamed again, "Insanity!" She cut down the bodies in her way, gunning toward the young god. The abnormal titan stayed locked on Insanity, it moved fast and rapidly. Kira quickly turned, rushing toward its side, and waiting. Insanity fought off the titans in front of him. The abnormal quickly approached from behind. She turned again as it reached out for the god's neck. Its other hand shot out and snatched her wing. It pulled her back with a tight grip. The girl cried out as she heard as a sickening snap come from her left wing. The creature wrapped its other hand around her chest. She gasped for air as its long fingers coiled around her small body.

"Kira!" He spun around and swung at the abnormal. His punch connected with its jaw and Kira was flung out of its hand. She cried out as her back slammed into the side of a building. The girl fell to the ground behind Insanity. "Kira!" He tried to run to her before more titans rushed towards him, holding him back. The girl didn't move, her dark hair covered her eyes. He desperately fought against their grips but they kept returning with more bodies than the last.

"Kira! We don't have much time! Jean, Connie, help Insanity, I'm going after Kira. As soon as you guys can, help me get her back to the group." The two nodded before flying into the horde.

Kira's eyes barely opened, she tried to move only to fall back down. Her eyes moved to the sound of her name. She felt an arm wrap around her chest and the wind blowing fast again. The girl stayed still as everything sped past her, before stopping again on a rooftop. Voices surrounded her and Insanity drew closer. He spoke but his voice was far away. She whined as something wrapped around her ankle. The girl cried again as she tried to move. It pulled her backward and the light grew bright around her. The god tried to pull her back as something grew out from behind her and yanked her away and into blinding light.

❤️ for a fact about our relationship. me and eren were in the pining stage for about four months. we met in the fall and eventually confessed our feelings for each other during the winter. it took so long bc both of us were too shy to really make a move on each other >///<

🙆 for something i can’t stop thinking about. GOD i love eren's side profile. his side profile is so attractive dhgh little features about him are much more noticeable, like how his neck is a little longer than average, how prominent his jawline is, and how his nose slightly points up. idk i just love it <3
