hi!! you’re so talented and i love your art and the style it’s so amazing :) i was wondering how long you’ve been drawing for? of course that’s not the only reason you’re so good i can’t even imagine the amount of time spend on your skill but just out of curiosity <3
Hey :) I always been drawing but as a good adhd person it was never constant. I can draw for a long or short period and then don't touch a pen for a long or short period too.. Fortunatly when I start a new period I get back my level quickly and can improve afterwards. But yeah.. it's a lot of work to acquire certain skill, it's why use references and see a lot wip and tutoriel and art from other artist is important. Don't stay in your comfort zone but more important, accept constructive review and compliments.

Drawing things that I really want to draw has been difficult for me. I really wanna improve my art skills but some of the things I want to draw are a little out of my skill level and aren't easy for me to draw. I know the best way to improve is by doing but whenever I would try to I would either erase it or just stop working on it because I didn't like how it was turning out.
So I decided to go back to things that I've drawn in the past. Something that's in my comfort zone and not completely new to me. And seeing myself draw something similar to what I've drawn in the past has given me a bit more confidence in how much I've actually improved and took away a bit of the pressure that drawing something I'm not used to gave me.
I was still a bit out of my comfort zone with the medium I was using but drawing something more familiar to me made it easier for me to try and get used to the digital medium a bit more.
I think that taking a break from trying to constantly improve all my art skills was something that I REALLY needed to do. <3

SUCK IT ART BLOCK, I’M CREATING AGAIN. I’m excited to be re-doing this fantasy lady bug design as a YouTube tutorial. I sculpted this design for the first time in 2016! You can see how I’ve redone it over the years, the latest design was in 2018. I’m not gunna pretend it’s not a little cringy to look back at older works (I was doing the best I could at the time), but it’s fascinating to see how your style and skills develop over time. This is why artists always tell newbies to practice and give it time! I’m filming the tutorial now and should have it ready to go by Friday!

I tried my hand at drawing one of my favorite characters from tf2. He looks like such a good boy :)
He can commit any crime and he still will be my good boy. :3
I probably won't draw using my laptop again tho...I had to use my index finger and I don't like it!!!
