I know you people (you know who you are) love Sez so i'm going to talk about him. i didn't realize his name was a typo away from sex until well after i first put art of him into the world but. eh. for those of you who don't know who he is he's the transgender angel boxer.

This guy's in A world between the lines- i consider it (like. most of my writing) a pretty wierd story so i can't promise any of this is going to make sense, but the universe he came from was destroyed, which led him to find himself in Pathologica, a city-state-thing in between universes run by a robot dictator that named the city state after itself. anyways. Sez ended up becoming a boxer, who had to fight all the goddamn time, often without getting any time to recover. Naturally, this wasn't the greatest for his mental health, and he quickly became just very very sad and. all of his worth (and in Pathos's eyes, his life) lies in the hands of whatever upper class people in Pathologica find entertaining. eventually One shows up on his doorstep needing someplace to stay and he finds her a lot like a less jaded version of himself.... i'm also so fucking obsessed with him like he's currently very sad but he's also just a wack as shit guy....... kind of guy to get told by a cosmic entity he's gonna need to give up something in order to leave his currently being destroyed universe and to go "take my tits i don't need em". kind of guy to be depressed as all hell living in the world's worst city and still take in a stranger who is 100% a wanted criminal.

3: Okee this is a happy rant bc yeah!! Okee okee so like today I dyed my hair a very very pretty color n it’s my fav color n it’s bright pink!!!! Mixed with some streaks of violet!! I dyed the ends of mah hair it and it looks so nice and it’s bright pink and I love it for once I’m loving getting attention bc yes!! Look!! At!! It!! It’s gorgeous!!!! 4: hm.. ive given this one quite a particular amount of thought before (I’m an hp fan) and I think it’s perfectly alright to enjoy the art, as long as you don’t end up supporting/giving money to the artist by doing so. Like, it’s cool to be interested, pirate stuff, read fanfic and support fanart, but if you directly buy from the main artist in question (in hp’s case, Jk.R*wling) then your directly supporting them. And that’s not okay. So yeah, in a way I think it’s okay, as long as your actions don’t lead to helping the artist.

I reblog lots of stuff to my main, including gore and body horror among pictures of beautiful flowers and political commentary. My followers know this and can choose to follow me or not. It wasn't a huge hassle to tag it even though I didnt consider it disturbing. There's a limit of course but that's an easy thing to tag for.) Sometimes it's your followers responsibility to block tags to keep themselves comfortable so you can be you.

On this blog, I post disturbing stuff and guts and tag it with gore and animal death. That way people can still follow me for aesthetic shots of bones in soapy water without seeing worms crawling through exposed skunk flesh.

Your blog exists for you, not your followers. But it sounds like you have a following that is not prepared for frightening stuff. You could start by warning them for several days/weeks to block content they dont want to see or unfollow, but it might be best to start a new sideblog.

Tumblr sideblogs are remarkably easy to maintain, reblog to, and keep separate. I was very surprised when I started my art blog and it wasn't a hassle at ALL. Recent improvements (tumblr remembers which blog primarily makes new posts and which one primarily reblogs) have made it even better.

Have fun and curate your experience! Thank you for taking care of people who aren't down for gore. That's very compassionate and is the responsibility of everyone who posts commonly triggering content. But there are multiple ways to take care of people so make sure you explore them!

Give your followers the option to either unfollow you, block tags, or just not follow a new blog. Engagement with the world is not all-or-nothing, make a space in it for what you truly enjoy.

Hoo is a bounty hunter, who, while she doesn't work *for* the AFF (company harvey and rodger started, works to keep humans specifically in Terranova (new area of earth that just kind of showed up one day. basically a high fantasy world) safe from "threats". they claim to be all for diplomacy and make a huge effort to appear as such but they ARE NOTTTTTT) ok this is mostly worldbuilding stuff thus far. About her. She's one of the AFF's founders' adopted kid, and was raised as Oko's sister. the two of them drifted apart, and, as oko realized the corruption going on, hoo only became more loyal to her dad's cause. She's dating Quinn and they're like. both very very ruthless. and in looove with eachother. She's really into cowboys and the wild west. in a queer way. in the first draft of the story she's in i gave her an unexplained brooklyn accent despite the story not happening on earth, or in america let alone new york, and despite the story mandating she's not from there. no fucking clue why i did that.

2. Quinn Meguro

Quinn is another AFF employee. she's the child of two actual diplomats from earth who are not the happiest with his career choices... She's always struggled with things like "showing emotion" and "knowing how to interact with people" but Hoo just kind of latched onto him one day and the two of them ended up falling in looove. She's slightly skilled at using magic, and usually uses it to make knives <- this part of her character was directly inspired by short skirt long jacket. do with this information what you will. He's slowly been realizing how corrupt the group he works for is and wants to leave but doesn't want to abandon her partner and then he ends up. internalizing all that anger and it kind of boils over a few times and then important plot things happen. I'm also absolutely obsessed with him. by the way. i love. my ocs and thank you for giving me an excuse to talk about them. yaay

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR URL ; hmm. I think I was trying to come up with a name that encapsulated the fact that this was always meant to be a multimuse. Since a lot of the themes I write have to do with inter-dimensional travel, and some of the MAJOR plots (MZ and Rock christ) are literally about two characters from COMPLETELY different universes coming together, well yeah. Portals = Gates, and space stretches on forever so that’s the more literal reasoning. (ALSO I am indeed making a hint-hint-nudge-nudge about Infinity, the main villain for the major story SO--)

1. Why did you choose your url?  Okay so actually my url originates from my wattpad days, when I wanted to rebrand at some point to something like ‘phoenix’ or whatever. Sadly all those names were taken so I went for firebirds instead. This was like 3 or 4 years ago, but when I got tired of my old url here about a year ago, conveniently enough firebirds was still free and here we are!

2. Any side blogs? if you have them, name them and why you have them. Wouldn’t you like to know? But to answer part of this question, last August I made a sideblog to interact with a very very specific part of a fandom of something that got wiped out of existence in November (if you know you Know). I posted on there like 5 times tho so it was kinda pointless and I’ve deactivated it. On the other hand I’ve been thinking about making a sideblog dedicated to my favourite DC character but who knows if I ever will tbh.

3. How long have you been on tumblr? According to @memories I signed up exactly at 08/11/2016 1:53:00. I have no idea if this means I signed up in August or November tho

4. Do you have a queue tag? Ha no, everything you see on my blog is an immediate response to my monkey brain liking things. 

5. Why did you start your blog in the first place? I always saw tumblr posts on instagram so I decided to come here myself.

6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp? I love birds and also I was watching She-ra at the time I went about changing my whole theme so I thought that would be fun. In case anyone wants to know specifically, this is the ‘THE BOYS ARE IN TROUBLE, A SEAGULL TOLD ME’ seagull by the way.

7. Why did you choose your header? I wanted a wack header to go with my new eyesore theme so I edited it myself to achieve that (and it shows lmao)

However if it’s one of those ‘reblog this or your crush will fall in love with someone else (of course they’re usually much worse but I don’t want to accidentally trigger anyone’s anxiety by using those)’ I just go ‘nah’ and move on.
