The cave was conceived as part of the architectural structure of the garden. It is actually attached to the basalt rock. It has three floors, below in front of it is a fountain with a statue of Neptune and stone reptiles by the sculptor Bohumil Schnirch. The artificial rocks were made of high-quality bricks on cement mortar and were also plastered with cement, so they resembled stalactites. Corridors, small halls with stone seats, caves, several staircases, terraces and at the very top a viewing terrace with a triumphal gate were created here. Below was the arcade promenade. The cave has an internal system of underground passages, where ingenious ventilation and drainage shafts are hidden.

Song #177
Devil Town by Cavetown
It was released on November 9, 2015
youtube
Fun Fact: The song follows the trials and tribulations of a young person’s life, exploring themes of Divorce, Anxiety, and Fear – Experiences many young people can relate to. Also weaved throughout are subtle implications of insanity and mania, and imagery suggests that the young person in question is possibly in some sort of mental asylum: Dressing gowns, forgetting their own name, spiders in shoes, and the actual name of “devil town” all have connotations commonly associated with mental asylums.

@seemoreseymoursbay day 2!! Romantic relationship day
Its (predictable from me) Zeke and Gene! I thought a lot about doing something else in the spirit of getting out of my comfort zone or drawing characters i don't draw often but in the end this ship is too special to me it always wins. I've been diehard for them literally since Carpe Museum came out in 2013 and over ten years later I'm still sticking by them.

I LOVED drawing this one because of all of Mari's little creatures :] She might be having a terrible time, but this isn't about her. It's about the creatures.

Big fuck you to anyone who makes fun of queer people for listening to Cavetown and other artists you think are "basic" or "cringe." No one is forcing you to listen to those artists. IMO it goes hand in hand with making people feel bad for being "that type of gay" or "too much." Like I'm so fucking sorry I'm not cool enough for you. Maybe I just want to listen to music that makes me feel good without having someone crawl up my ass over it not being cool enough for them.
