Please a Tim Bradford x shy!reader?
Since I’m Mexican American who grew up in the USA all my life and almost Halloween 🎃, please Lucy wants to record the shy!reader and her guy friends dressing up as Mario, Luigi and the reader dress as Yoshi while Tim watching the trio and Lucy recording them.
https://youtube.com/shorts/6XvvZw-YDU8?si=tiaHE_uCJfw-9GPK
This ended up being a blurb (set in the same universe as the Firefighters: Friend or Foe series but able to be read without that!). I hope that's okay and you enjoy it! 🤍
0.8k+ words of fluff with Tim x shy!fem!reader
The Pretty Dinosaur
“Good morning!” Lucy calls as she enters your workplace.
You look up from your notebook and furrow your brows when you see several bags hanging from her arm. There is confetti printed on them, and your shoulders automatically tense when she smiles and walks toward you.
“Where are the guys?” she inquires, leaning forward to look over your shoulder.
“Busy,” you answer quietly.
“Is that Lucy?!” one of the guys in question yells before he walks down the hallway. “Lucy!”
“Darry!” she replies, smiling as she fist-bumps him. “I need your help with something.” Turning toward you, she adds, “That means you, too.”
You shake your head, but Darry smiles at you and leans against your desk to distract you while Lucy enters the hallway to find Jay. She and Jay seem to enjoy testing the limits of your shyness more than anyone... except maybe Tim.
“Okay, listen,” Lucy demands as she returns.
You think you see her hand leaving Jay’s. Then she raps on the table and distracts you from your internal evaluation of their relationship.
“This,” she begins, reaching into the bag. “Is for you.”
Your eyes widen as she removes a Yoshi costume, a printed onesie with a hood and shorts, and then tosses it toward you. As you catch it against your chest, she passes Darry and Jay each a bag, winking at Jay before she steps back.
“I was shopping for Halloween decorations for my apartment and saw these. Put them on and we have to film some videos of you guys in them.”
“What even is Yoshi?” you mumble as you examine the costume.
“He’s a dragon,” Jay answers.
“No, bro, he’s a dinosaur,” Darry argues. “Hey, why does he get to be Mario?”
“Because he looks better in the mustache,” Lucy explains.
“You’d think so,” you whisper as you move your chair away from the desk.
Lucy’s eyes widen in surprise at your bold comment, but she waves her hands quickly, encouraging you to change.
“I have scripts!” she adds as you enter the restroom.
When you emerge in your Yoshi costume, Jay twirls the faux mustache beneath his nose and uses an Italian accent to say, “Yoshi! Welcome home!”
“She looks more like she’s in another place that’s four letters and starts with h,” Darry points out.
“C’mon, this is fun!” Lucy encourages, bouncing slightly. “I was thinking that you guys can film a few funny videos on your own and then I can give you the ideas I had.”
“Why?” you ask, holding your fingers together behind your back.
“Just for fun. I won’t post them, I promise. Now, get in your places. And… action!”
Lucy holds up her phone and smiles behind the screen as she records Jay walking into the frame.
“This red brings out my mustache, hey, Luigi?” he jokes in the same accent from before.
“Sure!” Darry agrees, walking behind Jay. “Except nobody’s ever seen a Dominican Mario.”
“He’s from Puerto Rico,” you point out, allowing Darry to push you to Jay’s side.
“My trusty sidekick is right!” he exclaims, placing his hand over your face when you open your mouth to argue that you are not his sidekick. “But it’s the same island!”
“No, it’s not,” you, Darry, and Lucy say together.
“Who’s the game named after?” Jay challenges.
“Who loses his girlfriend to an anthropomorphic turtle every week on date night?” Darry retorts.
“Did someone call the police?”
You turn quickly, disturbing the Yoshi hood over your head, and immediately drop your eyes when you see Tim leaning against your desk, watching the show in his patrol blues.
“I did,” you answer. "Don't worry, Bowser isn't involved this time."
Lucy begins laughing and ends the video as she bends forward and attempts to catch her breath. Jay lays a hand on her shoulder and continues to flirt with her as Darry tries to provoke him further. Meanwhile, you slowly approach Tim’s side with your eyes on your bare legs below the shorts of your costume.
“What are you?” Tim asks, and you can hear the smile in his voice.
“Yoshi,” you murmur, taking his hand to look at it rather than his face.
“Cute.”
“Lucy made me,” you add. “She wanted a funny video for Halloween.”
“I would’ve gotten you a better costume if I knew you wanted one.”
“I didn’t,” you explain as Lucy interjects, “You couldn’t have found better!”
“Maybe we should stop on the way home and I’ll find one you’ll enjoy looking at since you can’t seem to make eye contact today,” Tim whispers as he pulls you closer.
You whine and drop your forehead against his shoulder. He apologizes though he's aware that he’s pushing you but totally insincere.
“Can’t leave yet,” Jay calls. “Lucy isn’t done with us yet.”
“Maybe we should make one to explain why we’re all the wrong race for our characters,” Darry suggests.
“Ooh, yes!” Lucy agrees, raising her phone.
“Nobody messes with Puerto Rican Mario,” Jay purrs in his Italian accent.
“Help,” you whisper against Tim’s shoulder.
“After I hear the explanation of how a girl as pretty as you ended up dressed like a dragon.”
“Dinosaur!” Darry argues as you attempt to hold onto Tim’s hand to escape the camera and the reminder that your friends don’t care about you or how shy they’re making you.

UPDATED: Casting call
Hello Gonchers! We're looking for actors.
Instructions below the cut. If you would not like to act but would like to spread the word, please reblog!
Overview:
You will need to complete a survey (so we have your contact info and know which roles you would like) and then add a video to gonchmovie's acting auditions Google Drive folder or send it to the casting email. This video will be your audition. For the main cast, we will do callbacks. This will require you to schedule a meeting with our casting directors to make a video call. More details on each step are in its section.
Survey instructions:
Complete this survey. We will cross-reference it with your performance, so we know who you are, your contact info, and what role(s) you want.
Selecting roles is required. There is a check all that apply list in the form with the names, but in case you are not well versed in the gonchlore, we have this list here with a brief description of each.
Video instructions:
Choose any piece of script either from our in-progress script doc, other script docs, or Tumblr. (Whatever source, basically.)
Record yourself performing it.
Upload the video (with your preferred name and Tumblr handle in the title) to this Google Drive or send it to [email protected].
About callbacks:
This only applies to the main cast. For callbacks, we're defining this as Goncharov, Katya, Andrei, Sofia, Ice Pick Joe, and Mario.
We will not ask everyone who auditions for these parts to schedule a video call (sorry). Only the top 3-5 possibilities.
We want to see how actors perform with each other, so we are doing the video calls in sets of characters. The sets are as follows: 1. Goncharov, Katya, Andrei, and Sofia. 2. Goncharov and Andrei. 3. Kayta and Sofia. 4. Ice Pick Joe and Mario. 5. Mario, Goncharov, Andrei, and Ice Pick Joe. If we really like your performance but you didn't fit with the other character(s) we may ask you to do another call with different candidates for those character(s). It is likely to be a bit of a process to find the best set of core characters.
An important note about schedules: We aim to film during summer 2026 (tentatively June 25 - August 10, dates subject to change). However, if we are not fully funded in time with locations booked etc., then we might have to postpone the filming to winter 2026. It is ideal that you are available summer 2026, but if not, you may still be able to act if the project is postponed. Similarly, if you are only available summer 2026, that is fine, but we may have to go with a different actor if the project is postponed. We changed the survey question to reflect the dates, but you do not need to resubmit the form if you have already taken it. We will double-check with everyone about their schedules once we get closer.
The filming is planned to take place in Naples, and travel and accommodation will be included in our budget (so you do not need to pay for your trip yourself). For information on pay, see this google doc.
Our most common casting comment/question is along the lines of: "I would really like [role] but I'm trans and don't pass."
We are blindly casting all demographics unless otherwise specified. Also, this production is aggressively trans-positive and inclusive (hi there I'm trans and so is easily half of the discord).
Even for some specified demographics [ex: age ranges], we can be flexible.
When in doubt, if you want to audition, audition! <3
Stay Gonching!

Haha! @briandraws I tricked you! >:3
I wasn’t innocent! I was plotting something all along! Hahahahahaha!
Hypno Marware one-shot fic for you :3
Forgive Me (Hypno Marware AU)
Don't deal with the devil. Those are some famous words to live by.
Mr. Puzzles, however, does not.
But hey, he got some cool new powers from this little deal! So... that was something!
He currently sat in his office at his house, tapping a pen furiously against the desk as he attempted to think of something, anything, to make his next show about. He had taken control over the one who had been the largest thorn in his side, the one that he swore to one day get revenge upon:
Mario Mario.
Thanks to that deal with Vox, he had managed to bend the plumber to his will. It was going great! He would have him do the dirty work for him too. Like a personal assistant! All stars have one of those, so of course he deserved one! And who better than Mario? The revenge was beautiful, in a way.
He looked over at the Italian as he stood there, swirls in his eyes from the mind control. He had made him change into a suit. Much better than those drab dirty overalls that have probably never been washed since 1987.
He sighed, motioning him over.
Mario obeyed, as he always did after he'd first hypnotized him.
The cyborg looked at the plumber. He wasn't able to respond to him, but... he could at least vent this all out to someone! Besides, if Mario was even listening he would be too dumb to understand. Right?
He'd been the audience to most of his frustrations throughout the past... month? Mr. Puzzles lost track of time. Hell, he hadn't even been sleeping. He just worked the day away with Mario running and grabbing things for him, or standing there and hearing him vent out his frustrations.
He sighed. "Why can't I think of anything?" He asked, looking towards the plumber again as his blank eyes stared at him.
Oh... those blue eyes... even when devoid of expression, they were quite beautiful. He could actually appreciate Mario's appearance, now that he's forced him to clean up a bit and after he stopped being so obnoxious.
And he... cared... even if it was fake...
"I don't understand. I have been drawing a blank with ideas for the past week! I don't... where's the inspiration? I can't create the best TV show without any ideas! What am I missing?" Mr. Puzzles gave a glitched huff. "No matter how hard I try, nothing comes to mind! Nothing! I was able to come up with amazing show ideas! Why can't I think of anything?"
The cyborg stared at the blank page in front of him. He had started writing several scripts, getting one sentence in before his creative flow stopped and he threw the paper away.
He sighed, putting his head in his hands. "Why? I... I can't just stop... then... then no one will..." He looked over to Mario, who continued to stare at him. "No one would care about me. No one will care for me if I don't keep making things... if I quit now, no one will care for me... I... I need to come up with something! Anything! Nothing comes to mind! Why am I out of ideas?"
Mr. Puzzles looked back at the page once more before crumpling up the page and throwing it in the trashcan with the other abandoned scripts.
He stood up angrily, walking towards the door and slamming it open. Mario followed close behind him, watching his every move and awaiting his next orders.
Mr. Puzzles walked to the kitchen, opening the fridge and searching for something to reignite that creative spark. Anything with caffeine.
Or alcohol...
Either would work, really.
"I just need that one great idea to hit!" He exclaimed. "Then everyone will know and adore me! I'll finally be popular!"
He grabbed a wine bottle, pouring it out and into a glass. "I just don't get why I can't come up with any good ideas!"
Mario continued to stare at him blankly, not moving as he stood in the kitchen's doorway.
"I'll never be famous like this! Ugh... but I can't give up! There has to be something where I can get an idea or... or... UGH!" He leaned his head against a cabinet. "I... why? Why am I unable to think of anything?"
He looked back at the plumber and patted his head. "Thank you for listening, Mario," he said, sad smile on his screen. "Even if you're just a measly puppet right now."
His expression changed to a solemn one, walking past him as he walked back to his office, wine glass in hand. Why did he feel... bad for this? Mario was the thorn in his side. Mario was the one that ruined everything. He'd sworn revenge on him after the Meme Factory, even!
So... why was guilt beginning to eat him up inside? Was he... really feeling bad about this? About controlling the fat Italian like a doll to bend to his will?
He looked back at Mario as he followed behind him.
It was... nice to have someone nearby. He'd been alone for so long...
No. He had to focus on writing this script so that he can rise to the top.
That was all that mattered.
But he didn't understand. He hadn't been bothered by the SMG4 crew since he brainwashed Mario, so... why was he drawing a blank on ideas? He'd been so annoyed at them ruining his work, but when they were gone he... had nothing.
Was it just an excuse?
He sighed. How was he going to get any ideas?
That night, Mario stood in the living room, blinking awake. He looked around the fancy-looking area around him. It was monochrome black and white, but... it looked very well-kept. He looked down at the suit he was wearing before stepping forward.
He walked over to the couch, looking at Mr. Puzzles as the cyborg sat with his TV head in his hands.
"Still nothing," he sighed, leaning back.
"TV Man?" Mario asked, walking over to him. "You ok?"
Mr. Puzzles jumped, turning around in his chair to stare at Mario. "I... wha...?"
"Mario asked if you're-a ok."
Mr. Puzzles stared at him. "You... you're..." He jumped up from his chair, pointing at him. "Oh, god! You're not brainwashed anymore!"
Mario tilted his head. "Yes?"
Mr. Puzzles screen changed to his crying face, looking away. Oh no.
"Wait..." he said as he looked back at the Italian. "Why... why are you asking if I'm ok? I... I thought you would have escaped, or beaten me up, or... something."
"Mario wants-a to know that you're-a ok," he said. "Mario... heard you talking."
Mr. Puzzles screen went blank as he realized the implications.
Mario had been conscious the entire time... he had heard everything. He remembered everything.
Suddenly that guilt he felt came back with a vengeance. Mr. Puzzles shook his head, crying face on his screen again. "Oh... oh no... I... I'm so sorry, Mario..."
He got down on his knees, gripping Mario's shoulders as the Italian looked him over in confusion.
"Huh?"
"I... I'm so so sorry," he said again. "I... I'm so... how could you ever forgive me for what I did?"
Mario looked away. "Um..."
"I... I used you as a puppet and... and you were aware the entire time..." Mr. Puzzles looked at him. "I am so sorry, Mario... just... just leave. Go back to your friends... I… at least when I brainwashed you all for Puzzlevision, you weren’t aware but… being stuck like that and… and being conscious… oh god…"
The Italian remained silent, watching him with an unreadable expression on his face.
“Mario… please, go,” Puzzles said.
He remained still, watching him as his singular brain cell burst to life to form a coherent thought.
“Dammit, Mario, leave! Or at least… do or say something! Anything!” Puzzles sobbed. “I… I can’t take the silence… it’s… it’s deafening…”
Mario shook his head. "No. M... Mario forgives you. You can-a get better. You... you need-a friends..."
Mr. Puzzles watched him, curious as to where he was going with that, even if he was still convinced that Mario should just leave him be.
"Mario knows what it's-a like to be in the spotlight," he continued. "Mario... wants-a to help you. If-a you are so set on being a star, Mario can... Mario can help keep you from going coo-coo crazy."
Mr. Puzzles shook his head, standing up and taking a step back. "No... I... I'm not... sure how that would work..."
"Mario wants to help you get better," Mario insisted. "Mario knows too much about you. You can-a change for the better."
Mr. Puzzles turned away, about to speak before the door was kicked in, the SMG4 crew rushing inside.
"Let Mario go, Mr. Puzzles!" Meggy exclaimed, standing in front of Mario with her splattershot pointed at his face.
"Wait, Leggy-" Puzzles began to say before SMG4 cut him off by punching him in the face.
"We're taking our friend back!" 4 snapped.
"Yeah!" Tari agreed, peaking her head through the doorframe before pulling it back out again.
SMG3 looked back at her and shook his head.
“Wait,” Puzzles said with a glitching voice before the crew proceeded to begin beating him up
Mario looked at them in shock before stepping in front of the cyborg. “Wait!”
“Mario,” 4 said, grabbing his friend and pulling him aside, “I know that you’re mind controlled right now, but we need to-”
“Mario is not mind controlled!” Mario snapped. “Mario is normal again! But let Mario speak! Please!”
The crew stopped, looking back at him from the mangled body of Mr. Puzzles.
“Mario is ok,” Mario said. “Let… let him be. Mario thinks he can-a do better. We should give him a chance.”
“Are you serious?” Meggy snapped, looking at him. “You are obviously still brainwashed!”
Mario shook his head. “I’m-a serious! He’s not-a so bad…”
“Are you hearing yourself?” SMG4 asked harshly. “In what world would Mr. Puzzles of all people…”
SMG3 watched the three of them argue about Mario’s newfound opinion of the cyborg before looking down at him.
Mr. Puzzles was picking himself up off the ground, putting a hand to his broken screen. “Ugh…” He looked over at the purple SMG as he looked him up and down. “Oh… um…”
SMG3 looked back over at Mario. He too had had a change of heart years ago and changed his ways to become their f- teammate or… something. He didn’t like hanging out with these losers. It was just better than nothing.
Mario sighed. “Fine! Then let’s-a go home and leave him alone?”
Meggy and SMG4 both looked at Mr. Puzzles, who was looking at the ground. He wasn’t even fighting them?
“Yeah,” 3 agreed. “Let’s… let’s go. Leave him here to think about things.”
The two watched as SMG3 left, Mario following close behind. 4 and Meggy both then turned their gaze to Mr. Puzzles, who was already making his way back to his office in order to fix his broken screen.
SMG4 looked over at Meggy, who shook her head and followed behind them.
“If you even think about following us-” 4 started to say before Mr. Puzzles shooed him off.
“I won’t,” he said. “I… I’m not in the mood.”
SMG4 tilted his head in confusion before reluctantly leaving behind the others.
“Can we get-a some spaghetti?” Mario asked excitedly as they walked back.
“Sure…” SMG4 said quietly.
Mario looked back at the house as they left. Mr. Puzzles really didn’t seem so bad, once he heard all of his troubles… he smiled. Maybe he could change Mr. Puzzles ways and then they wouldn’t have to worry about him anymore!
Meanwhile, Mr. Puzzles sat at his desk, reapplying a new screen. He sighed. Mario really stood up for him? After all that he did? Even after using him as a puppet while he was aware… he forgave him?
He smiled to himself, heartbeat monitor line across his screen.
Mario didn’t seem so bad either…

Honestly with the fact that it feels like we're already nearing the climax of this arc so soon I think it's more likely that this is a mini-arc like Meme Factory to set up something bigger for later. It feels like foundations are being laid and this arc is mostly gonna serve to introduce WPNZ, solidify Karen as part of the main cast, and drop some foreshadowing for a bigger arc later
that or it'll be an arc that "resolves" only for stuff to get much worse in a similar way to the anime arc fixing the initial problem only for... yknow.
also calling it now WPNZ is a cyborg.
I see what you mean. We've been given little snippets about Karen from previous episodes and it definitely feels like it's all coming together for something big. Karen's secret of being a former assassin is still kept between her, 4, and Mario. Within the Crew, that is, other than WPNZ and the organization. Who knows how that will turn out after all this?
As for the debate of whether it's a full-on arc or not, I may have to side with it being a mini-arc. Though it doesn't follow the canonical plot, the teasers have been helpful in other ways, such as establishing a schedule pattern (other than algorithm stuff really):
Teasers for full arcs (≥7 episodes) would be posted once every week, near the same day an episode is released right after
Teasers for a mini-arc (like the Meme Factory one) or story changes (building the Castle, 3's Coffee & Bombs) would be posted twice every week, sandwiching between every new episode (therefore more frequent)
Now, listen: as much as I would love for Karen to get a full arc for her to be badass, I think it's fair, as said in your reasoning. The foundation is already set and might give a chance for big things in the future, like that hit order on Marty (if the Team's not gonna include it in the hitman arc). Besides, it depends on how the Team wants to tell the story, you can't exactly force them to stretch it out bc then, they would have to fill empty spaces in the script with unnecessary stuff.
Too little, the story would feel rushed. Too much, the audience would skip over stuff they deemed boring. Oh, the writer's dilemma, I know that too well. As long as the Team's able to execute the story well, I'll be okay with it. At least, that's my take on it anyway.
This coming from an editor in my production stuff job
....so, we're betting again, are we? /lh
Genuinely tho, cyborg's not a bad thought with the whole "sacrifices had to be made/it comes with the territory" type of thing. And might explain the level of tech the organization has. Hell, 🎶anything's possible in the SMG4 universe™🎶 🎹 anyone wanna take a gamble on what could be a potential twist?
Me? Well, that depends on which part of my theorist-mind spectrum you wanna ask from :)
thanks for the ask, anon!
#smg4#smg4 karen#ink answers#the teasers ARE helpful all along#still overall excited for the hitman arc!!!!

Sorry if im late but during that deleted scene of matmtv au i cant help but notice
Why does Meggy not have her hat?
And why does it say Act 2.5??? Does that mean this comic is long and what Act are we on now? I couldnt help it I love your comic!
WAIT I ACTUALLY DIDNT EXPECT SOMEONE WOULD LIKE MY COMIC- THANK YOU SO MUCH... 😭 Might I say it means alot to me receiving these comments, The comic I made for that au is just based on my "Late-Night-Drunken-Doodles"
I want to call it that was cause I've always had runner up marware comics in this au every night, and whenever I write their dialogues they seem unauthentic due to my sleepyness. Wait where was I again? Oh right-
During Act 2, I originally planned to make this part whether she makes her own decisions for herself to NOT cope from the past but atleast focus on the present-future ahead. Thats why when Mario convinced to Meggy that Puzzles is not a bad person anymore, she debated on her mind if she'd give Puzzles a chance even after everything he's done.
(To remind everyone, one shot wren WORKED for Mr. Puzzles and he had admitted that during Puzzlevision Movie that he was the one behind their little adventures)
She faced on the present, proving to herself that anyone can change. Meggy destroys her hat. Forgetting Wren's existance and his bad doings that were growing all over her.

Side note- due to this scene being deleted, I decided to just make her destroy her hat with no Puzzles being in there but Wren. She just wanted to get rid of it.
And if you're also asking the Act, I had already planned a long time ago how it begins and how it ends. Acts are what I used for different side story and ALSO they're the basic set ups of rising actions and the impacts of how this story of the comic will take place in the right time. (My only problem, is that Ive never arranged them properly so my head is exploding)
We are STILL on ACT 1
Act 1 is called "Bond" it's the episode or- well- pages of the story where Mario and Puzzles made sense with each other and had their talks, said as hanging out and doing stuff together while Puzzles never realized something until now.
Although we're finally on Act 1, we have Pre-Act 1 of "Bond" which drags us to the VERY first beginning of a prologue. And yes, it's when Mario saw a TV of a head which we all figured it was actually Mr. Puzzles after his head got bashed into the sky with a luigi meat mallet. Pre-Act is yet to begin the story that would unfold into that chemistry we have going with Mario and Puzzles. So far they're still on progress with working each other out.
It might seems alot, but in a nutshell like any other. It's just some silly comic of the two complicated GAYS.
Act 2.5 in this scene is deleted and was re-written from the script. Meggy and Mr. Puzzles who are originally going to be friends of this story would probably NOT work out because they've JUST been moving on to Puzzlevision Movie after that. In the re-written version I had for her is that Meggy is now the LEAST character who has lines. But is still relevant to the story aside from SMG3 and SMG4.
The comic is atleast longer than um... than 100+ pages and these are just the Pre-Act and Act 1 still... imagine making more of that in 2 notebooks and end up having 500+ that would be a real dedication.

Anyways I think these are all well spoken, I hape to answer more project related or non project related asks. Please feel free to drop down anything on my inbox ^^

What’s up with those static eyes? And what jobs do each of you do for the most part?
Also, to Mr. Puzzles, why have them work like this instead of as brainwashed actors?
WARNING : THIS IS NOT FINISHED! This is merely a wip I posted on accident. So some stuff may come off as weird.
My apologies ^^'
SMG4 : We uh...
SMG3 : We don't really know.
SMG4 : It just appeared right after we signed the contract I think?... Maybe it's a side effect? A mark? Who knows...
SMG4 : Now about that job part, I usually take lead in script writing cuz... I'm just the lead script writer. Other than that, my other main job is just being an actor. Other than those, I help 3 in taking care of the pets, I'm basically the mascot of the studio [ besides Mr. Puzzles ] and just an assistant.
SMG3 : looks off to him, still concerned on why tf he still has that many jobs Uuuuuuh, anyways, I help 4 with the scripts, I'm basically the person who mostly takes care of the pets, I'm also the cameraman and... Just an actor. But mostly the taking care of the pets thing and cameraman.
SMG4 : I think Meggy is a choreography teacher or something... Tari is a bug finder because of her abilities... Boopkins is is just a postman guy... Bob just guards the weapons room. Mario... Doesn't even do anything, besides acting.
SMG3 : Makes sense.
Mr. Puzzles : Why? Well... Why should I tell you folks that? Just because you all get to ask me questions doesn't mean you can sometimes pry into some secretive and personal stuff. So don't bother asking!
[ ok, time for context part!
Yeah so, everytime an ask gets answered, I'll leave a context part if necessary for those who don't understand or need more info.
So for the first one, the eyes were just some design choice at first but I decided to add some stuff about it. These static like eyes were some sign that "hey, these guys are owned =D". Maybe some sort of trademark, well, that's the thought I had to mind. Tho, other characters besides 4 and 3 have different ways of showing this. Tari from example, hides her left eye cuz it was dripping a lot and also, she just didn't really like showing it. Other than that, it was a coolio design choice.
For the second one, I'll just put it in some format here. Oh and btw, I'm not afraid to change these if necessary.
SMG4 : Puzzles assistant/Lead Script Writer/Main mascot/Part time-pet caretaker/actor
SMG3 : Assistant script writer/Lead pet caretaker/cameraman/actor
Meggy : Choreography teacher/law assistant [ incase of legal action ofc ]/Prop setup helper/actor
Tari : Bug finder/Assistant for visuals/actor
Boopkins : Prop setup helper/sender [ aka postman or something ]/Guard assistant/actor
Bob : Lead guard for the weapons room [ yes that exists lmao ]/Part time cameraman/Actor
Mario : Actor
Mario doesn't even get to do much considering with Puzzles giving him some freedom over his actions, he can do some random ass shit. Mario just spends his time in his room, memorizing scripts and probably just eating spaghetti so that he would calm down. [ this is subjected to change... ]
Puzzles just felt a lil lonely. Imagine you control everyone but all of them are just mindless and emotionless people? Yeah, that's gonna be boring sooner or later.
Fun fact : Puzzles actually has some empathy for them after a few months of working with them. But to maintain his image, he never told anyone about this. ]

This is a stand in ask that I lost. It was about Sonic Frontiers. It was a four-part ask written kind of smugly about the open zone areas of Sonic Frontiers, and how all the random clutter (springs, dash panels, etc.) and high level of scripting/railroading doesn't fit in very well with open world design. They suggested Sega would have to go back to the drawing board and really change the design for whatever follows next.
So I wanted to redo this ask because I feel like I had a pretty good response.
I opened this ask jokingly calling the anon out for sounding a little snooty, because it used some big words. But my main opener was: Haven't you played Super Mario Odyssey? Each level in Super Mario Odyssey is effectively its own little open world, particularly something like Tostarena.
it's this huge area dotted with a town, ruins, and other landmarks, with big stretches of empty space between them. The landmarks are where the traditional gameplay is -- platforming challenges, enemies, puzzles, and so on, and you have to traverse across the desert to reach them.
I also think about Jak & Daxter, maybe one of the first open world platformers ever, and how it has kind of a hub-and-spoke system. Generally you are working out of a base, like a workshop or a village or something, with roads that lead out of, around, and back into that base area (or to other buildings that act sort of like self-contained dungeons).

Each "road" takes the place of a level. Now, there's nothing keeping you on the road, which is part of the fun, since you can cross between roads, go around obstacles, and so on. But roads are definitely setup to guide you through a space like a level would.
And as someone who plays a lot of it, I think in the context of Fortnite, which is this huge island covered in a spiderweb of roads and pathways leading to, from, and around POIs (Points of Interest).
It's a system that drives all good open world design, and was kind pioneered in Disneyland all the way back in the 1950's. Disney didn't call them "points of interest", he called them "weenies" -- big iconic areas that you can see from long distances that are interesting enough to make you want to explore them, while also helping you stay oriented in the overall space.
So take this screenshot of the current Fortnite map:
My car is parked at a crossroads. Directly ahead of me and a little to the left is a shack where Gwenpool is roaming around. Further in the distance is the POI of "Reckless Railways", which houses the map's Grand Central Station, where the train rolls through and restocks its supplies. Further beyond that are the snowy mountains and the massive Grand Glacier hotel. To the far left, on the edge of the image, is the forge at Dr. Doom's castle.
Roads are meant for traveling quickly down. They lead you to points of interest, where you slow down and comb through an area carefully. And, obviously, there's all kinds of little landmarks dotted all over the place between major POIs, encouraging you to get off the road and go exploring. Gas stations and ruins and little shacks and stuff.
It's extremely easy to adapt these concepts to a Sonic game, which is what's so baffling about Sonic Frontiers being such an incoherent mess.
Roads should be your boost Sonic zones. It can't be a random collection of junk, it can't be something you unlock as a means of "fast travel." There has to be an identifiable road, a series of pathways leading you around the island. You put grind rails and boost pads and dash rings along this road. This is where players are supposed to go fast. Roads = travel.
These roads will lead you to points of interest and other landmarks. A POI, like in Super Mario Odyssey, is where puzzles, platforming, and exploration are mostly done. I do not mean "four stone buildings" like in Sonic Frontiers. I mean a place that feels like a place. A location that feels like it has character. Personality. Something you work your way through, absorb, and conquer. Again, like Odyssey.
And then you stash little secrets and landmarks off the beaten path for players who want to go offroading.
2-3 islands per game, 2-3 biomes per island. You can have specific race or time trial missions to and from different landmarks, you can have POI exploration missions, you can have missions to change the state of these POIs like blowing up power plants or unlocking gates. Maybe Eggman has a giant pipe he's using to pump toxic chemicals into the water, so you have to turn off the pump and then you get to run down the inside of the empty pipe like an F-Zero GX track.
It's easy to design this game. You don't even need cyberspace levels. Heck, remember GTA5? Most missions had bronze, silver, and gold medals. You can still have a ranking system in an open world game.
Look, I even drew art of this concept, what, four years ago? five?
Somebody should pay me a livable wage for this kind of stuff

Okay, we need to deal with this once and for all...
Why in the hell do people seem convinced that Clint Eastwood's character in the Dollars Trilogy are three different people? Like, who put that into their head and why are they listening to such lies?
So, because Gian Maria Volonte, Mario Brega, and Lee Van Cleef are all playing different characters, Clint has to be as well? That's an American mindset… and these are not American movies; that's not how acting and filmmaking are regarded overseas. For example, actor Michael Ripper appears in the Hammer horror films Dracula Has Risen from the Grave, Taste the Blood of Dracula, and Scars of Dracula as three completely separate characters. But that does not mean that Christopher Lee's Dracula are three different Draculas.
They also point to "the Man With No Name was made up by United Artists as a marketing ploy." Yes, they did, but that doesn't mean Clint still isn't the same man in all three films. You know what isn't a marketing ploy? The Italians referred to the character as "Il Straniero/The Stranger." That was their "man with no name" name back then in the 60s. The Italians have since adopted calling him "Uomo Senza Nome/Man Without Name."
And people seem to be convinced somehow that "Sergio Leone and Clint Eastwood both said he's three different people." No, they didn't. Never once has Clint made that claim. And Sergio Leone co-wrote all three films (and Once Upon a Time in the West--more there later) and he wrote him as the same man.
But the facts of the matter are there to see in the movies if you watch them. In For a Few Dollars More, the second film, il Straniero is referred to as "Manco." "Manco" in Italian means "mangled" and it refers to his hand being crushed by Chico (Mario Brega) near the end of A Fistful of Dollars. If you pay attention, you'll notice Manco does everything in that movie (play cards, karate chop, drink, etc.) left-handed… except shoot. He still shoots with his right hand. If you pay extra close attention, you'll see that the Man With No Name wears his poncho backwards… to hide the bullet holes shot into it by Ramon Rojo (Gian Maria Volonte) at the end of Fistful.
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is an origin story for the character, set during the Civil War before the previous two films. The movie literally has a plot point about how the Man With No Name got his poncho! It chronicles how the character changes from a selfish, dickish drifter to the more altruistic, caring person (as seen in the previous two films) after a near-death experience. Additionally, whilst the dialogue in the screenplay for the film only refers to Clint's character as "Il Biondo/Blondie," the descriptive passages of the script refer to him as "Joe," the nickname given him by Peripero in A Fistful of Dollars.
"But the Man With No Name has $100,000 in gold at the end of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. He has to be a different character because he's poor at the beginning of A Fistful of Dollars!" According to co-writer of For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Luciano Vincenzioni, he's poor again at the beginning of Fistful because he gave the $100,000 to Father Ramirez's mission for saving his life. Now, why would he have that answer if they're all different people? Why wouldn't he have said "Oh, they're not the same man," when asked?
On top of that, Once Upon a Time in the West was originally meant to be the final adventure for il Straniero/Joe/Manco/Blondie/the Man With No Name. This gets complicated, so saddle in.
After The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Sergio Leone didn't want to do another western. He wanted to make Once Upon a Time in America, even way back then. But Paramount Pictures told him "We'll make America with you… but you have to give us another western first." So he set about on his fourth western. The script he and his writers (Sergio Donati, Bernardo Bertolucci, and Dario Argento) concocted revealed that everything Il Straniero did in the previous movies was all sort of a training for a revenge duel with Frank (presumably because Frank did to him what he did to Harmonica in the finished film). This is why it would have been such a shocking moment for the audience when Frank asks who the Man With No Name is and he responds "Dave Jenkins." The audience would've gasped, thinking "That's his name?!" before discovering it's just one of Frank's victims. The problem is that on the set of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Eastwood and Leone had a huge fight that nobody seems to talk about often. I've heard that it was Eastwood finally having enough of the lackadaisical manner in which Italians made movies and I've heard it was Leone finally having enough of Eastwood cheating on his wife with his interpreter. Whatever the subject of the fight was, it is what ruined/ended the relationship between Leone and Eastwood. When it came time to make Once Upon a Time in the West, Leone flew to California to personally deliver the script to Eastwood, but Clint would not meet with him (I've also read an interview with Lee Van Cleef where he revealed he was offered the role of Frank when it was set to star Eastwood, but turned it down because he didn't like the script. And he apparently didn't like the finished film when he saw it either). So with his main star gone and still having to deliver the film to Paramount, Leone returned to Italy with his writers and was forced to turn Il Straniero/etc into the new character Harmonica and go from there (and finally managed to cast Charles Bronson in the role). Leone later came up with an idea to have the three gunmen at the beginning of the film be cameos by Eastwood, Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach (though, they were never meant to be the Man With No Name, Angel Eyes, and Tuco--just three randos like in the finished film). It was both a gag and a storytelling device to show the audience, "You thought these guys were bad/cool… Harmonica's even worse/better!" Wallach was in for it. Eastwood was having none of it and Van Cleef turned it down too. For what it's worth, Leone continued to try to work with Clint; he wanted him for the James Coburn character in Duck, You Sucker, but Eastwood wouldn't do it either.
So, whether you call him Joe, Manco, Blondie, the Man With No Name, or The Stranger, they are all the same man in all three films. Unfortunately, the lie that he's not has spread way further than it ever should have.

Five Nights at Freddy's (Movie Review, Part 1)
I had finally watched the Five Nights at Freddy's movie, and I the only thing I have to say about it is...
I LOVE IT! ☆*:.。.o(≧▽≦)o.。.:*☆
Honestly, this movie was everything I, as a FNaF Fan, could ask for. I will admit that there were some things that were missing that I wanted to see, mainly due to changes in the script and the characters, but as a movie adaptation of one of my favorite video games, there was barely anything I could find to complain about.
Like, I don't know what movie the critics have been watching to call this movie mediocre or bad or whatever, because it was far from that. Objectively, it wasn't peak perfection, but I personally adored every second of it. I believe that the criticism surrounding this movie is just another Super Mario movie situation, where the critics cannot handle a movie that gives fans exactly what they wanted.
While I cannot speak for non-FNaF fans, since I've been with the franchise since its humble origins, I do believe that FNaF Fans will love this movie and enjoy it. This movie is a love letter to the fans and it shows.
Now, this was the non-spoiler review. Below, I'll add the spoiler review because I need to talk about my favorite moments from the movie.
If you haven't watched the movie yet, you can skip it.
MOVIE SPOILERS!!!
Oh, boy, where do I start even?! *rubs hands gleefully*
I suppose I'll start with the main characters, Michael ''Mike'' Schmidt and Abby Schmidt.
I genuinely enjoyed their characters in the movie and I loved their brother-sister dynamic (as someone who has younger siblings, they definitely nailed that part). Mike is a very relatable character, having to step up as a guardian for Abby while also clearly processing his own grief in regards to losing his younger brother, Garrett Schmidt and his parents.
He is doing his best to protect his sister and solve the mystery behind his brother's disappearance, acknowledging that he is flawed, yet loves his sister. Once he is given the job as a night guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, he not only learns about the Missing Children Incident, but also hopes that the Ghost Children could help him learn more about his brother's abductor. It is clear that he feels guilt for letting his brother getting kidnapped, because he was supposed to watch over him, yet got distracted, and now he is obsessed with fixing the past.
The one scene that made me incredibly emotional was when Mike started dreaming of his family again and the Ghost Children offered him to reunite with them in his dreams in exchange for something Mike would give them. Mike, in a moment of weakness, promises them anything, just to be together with his family, only to realize that he made a huge mistake when he learns that he gave them Abby in return, and he immediately regrets his actions and tries to save her. I believe that this is also the moment where he finally let's go of the past, because he needs to focus on the present and on Abby.
Speaking of Abby, she's definitely having the best time in her life being friends with a bunch of haunted animatronics, and honestly, I'd love to switch places with her (and yes, I know what happens later on, but we'll get to it).
Note, Mike, Garrett and Abby, are clearly parallels to Michael ''Mike'' Afton, The Crying Child (aka Evan Afton, according to what fans dug up) and Elizabeth Afton, even though they aren't related to William Afton. However, the things we know about them are present in their Movie!Selves, with Mike feeling guilty over the death of his younger brother and being obsessed to make things right, and Abby, similarly to Elizabeth, getting too close to the animatronics and almost suffering being springlocked inside an animatronic suit that resembles Circus Baby (or more accurately, Ella from the novels).
As for the Animatronics themselves, I absolutely adore them! X3
These guys have SOOOOO much personality and are really expressive, and I knew exactly what they thought and felt at every waking moment, even though they never spoke, unless it were the Ghost Children. There were a bunch of little moments, like Foxy's humming and Chica's Cupcake being an absolute menace that I loved, but I did miss Freddy not playing Toreador March or the animatronics having the game screams. Nevertheless, I enjoyed every single moment of them being on screen, especially since I knew these guys were real and not just CGI constructs.
I also love how they just switch from being happy and friendly (especially around Abby)...
...to going complete Murder Mode around everyone else.
Seriously, the look Freddy gives to Mike clearly screams ''You will be the next to get stuffed into an animatronic suit.''
I also loved the animatronics hunting down the thugs Mike and Abby's aunt has hired to get Mike fired. These guys were the highlight of the movie (along with another character, but I'll get to that soon enough). I know some people complained about there not being buckets of blood and gore, but to my knowledge, FNaF was NEVER about gore or being a slasher flick. The veterans of this franchise know that the main appeal of FNaF is its lore and the trail of breadcrumbs and puzzle pieces we are still try to understand to this very day. If you want gore, go watch The Banana Splits Movie or Wily's Wonderland. Or any other slasher flick.
Also, screw you Balloon Boy, you both jumpscared me and made me laugh. Seriously, BBs appearances were hysterical. X3
Speaking of which, shout out to MatPat and CoreyxKenshin:
I definitely had a laugh when MatPat was interrupted during his Food Theory on lunches and Corey always getting the weirdos entering his taxi.
Moving on to Vanessa Shelly....
...or rather, Vanessa Afton.
Yeah, I'm not gonna skirt around this reveal, especially given people were interested to why a character from Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, a game that takes place during the 2020s-2030s is doing in a movie that adapts a game taking place during the 1990s.
The answer? She is the movie version of Elizabeth Afton (whether she has siblings or not is unknown, but I doubt it; after all, Elizabeth from The Silver Eyes didn't have any siblings either).
I will admit, I do like that the movie combined aspects of Security Breach!Vanessa being the Reluctant Follower and covering for her father's crimes (or rather, not wanting to get involved with them) along with her knowledge of Freddy's by virtue of being the daughter of one of the founders. Unlike Elizabeth, she manages to defy her father at the very end of the movie, and gets stabbed as a consequence. Don't worry, she is alive, but also stuck in the hospital.
Also, her being William's daughter in the movie opens a huge can of worms for her Game!Character, given how Game!Vanessa (aka Vanny) is known as Vanessa A.
Now, let's get to our main attraction... in part two, because Tumblr won't let me post more than 30 images.

Okey i may or may have not rewatched "The Stupid Mario Movie" (a bit to much) and it made me think, has Maryo been on way more adventures than we've seen? Cause crap like this:
Makes me think he gets sucked in an adventure MORE than the others. Avatar thing probably, but I woulda though Maryo would have told SMG4 and 4 would say "Probably a dream dude". Some mario changes I see. Also:
I think she took the words right out of your mouth :]
(Sorry if Im asking to much, Im just glad to have someone i can give my idea's of fandom to [specifically SMG4])
He definitely gets sucked into adventures a lot more than the others and it is DEFINITELY an avatar thing. Hes the main character so in order to keep things. Yknow. In Order, they need the avatar to be constantly off just. Doin stuff. For content
With how often smg4 breaks the fourth wall (esp with stuff like the clown ep where smg4 just straight up says "uh ohhh looks like i didnt write this episode properlyy") and implies that every adventure is scripted (obv not by them, but by glitch prod Heh) id lean into that its an avatar. content. thing
Hope that made sense ??
( Also thank u for sending ur asks , even if i dont respond to all of them i promise i read them all :-] lovelovelove reading peoples takes on this kind of stuff )

pikmin 4 thouts
i haven't actually posted that much about pikmin 4 now that i think about it but i finished it a while ago. as close to 100% as i think it can be. i don't have the drive to make a complete review so i just wrote down a list of things i liked and didn't like. there are no huge spoilers in this until the very end
THINGS I LIKED -adding a marketable dog is usually a sign of getting desperate. the simpsons did a whole episode about it. even in the ask the devs interview they were like yeah we added a dog to create appeal. but despite all that i ended up warming up to oatchi not just as a character but his gameplay as well. letting him swim, carry, attack, and act as a second leader all works very natural in pikmin's world and he basically acts like a very big and powerful pikmin. it takes a bit of getting used to learning the new mechanics but i think it was a good idea overall. still kind of wish they went with the playable bulborb idea instead. -the biodiversity is kind of ridiculous in this one. pikmin 4 has 100+ different creatures and a piklopedia to interact with them all, making for endless hours of fun without even playing the game. in fact there are so many creatures it felt like some had a pikmin 3 problem where they weren't used enough even though this is a big ass game!! i also like the return of pikmin 2 styled bosses in contrast to 3's where most of them felt very scripted. -the selection of things to collect is no doubt the best in this one. i like that completing a set of treasures lets you look at everything at once. -i like the hub area. its nice to walk around a bit. -having 8 pikmin types is a bold move but they pulled it off pretty well. the 3 types limit on the surface actually works well. i like that each area has "recommended" types but allows you to swap out others regardless. it makes it so advanced players can do more tag barrel switching if they want to. -the level design feels a bit of a departure from past games with how expansive each area is but i do like it, it keeps things fresh. there's still a lot of depth to clearing out each area and cave efficiently. -it was at least harder than pikmin 3!!!! yippee!!!!!! -the gwafics are goregous in this one. pikmin is one of those series that only looks better with visual fidelity. -i like the equipment upgrading system. i enjoy how it allows certain equipment to be optional even after you already make it. this lets me get rid of the power whistle because i don't like it.
THINGS I DIDNT LIKE -my #1 complaint is the auto-lockon feature. i desperately wish i could turn it off. i think they intend you to have motion controls on for more precise aiming but i don't want that. i just want to aim with the stick. the lockon makes some things trivial and some unnecessarily frustrating. there's a FUN to be had in trying to get perfect aim with pikmin! it's a BALANCE!!!!!!!!! but maybe nintendo doesn't realize that… nintendo if you patch this game to give me an option to turn off auto lockon i'll be a good kid and buy your new mario. -pikmin 4 has the best pikmin AI in the series but there some small changes are so frustrating. in particular they REALLY hate the idea of using more than the minimum number of pikmin to carry something. they physically stop you from throwing for a bit and then pikmin that are already idle don't even bother. it's a small thing but it's persistent and it drives me insane. -balancing 8 types of pikmin is not easy. that being said i think pikmin 3's types in particular got shafted a bit. rock pikmin have a weird nerf where they can die from crushing but only on hard surfaces? i guess it's to prevent trivializing certain bosses. winged pikmin don't act much different but they feel like what blue pikmin were to 3 in that they barely get a chance to shine. it's fucked because all the earlier areas probably have winged pikmin paths programmed in that most people will never see… it breaks my heart just thinking about it -ALSO the white pikmin damage nerf was totally unneccessary. as a result all the poison themed enemies are so weak and oatchi can dispatch them easily with the poison upgrade so its like why are these guys still candypop bud exclusive -the controls might be almost TOO tight. particularly the oatchi bunchup is really OP when it comes to fights. i think this game throws a lot of tough situations at you but jumping on oatchi trivializes them a lot of the time. -enemies not respawning is really weird. particularly on the surface where they NEVER respawn. it kind of strips the organic feeling of pikmin away. -everyone says this but too much tutorial. please stop making the characters talk to me every time a pikmin dies on screen. i'd say it feels like nintendo is regressing to the skyward sword era but not quite, if they did then then there would be a cutscene every time you break down a wall.
looking back at this section i sure did CAPITALIZE a bunch of arbitrary words. i think shepherd was right when she said bernard's speaking style rubs off on you.
VERY MINOR NITPICKS -i wish my man hajime wakai was still doing the soundtrack cause you can tell he didnt. pikmin 4's soundtrack isn't bad it's still pretty "pikminlike" but i think you can tell its not the same as it was -for having a "dandori" theme pikmin 4 doesn't feel nearly as incentivized to be efficient as much as 3 or even 1. the fact that night expeditions take up full days bothers me and i can't help but wonder how much replays will be affected with how much stuff they crammed in the main game.
BIG SPOILERS AFTER THIS POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
-i think olimar and louie got a lot of fun exposition but the new characters not so much. it feels like they got disregarded later in the story. -final boss was the easiest in the whole series. yes even more than hey! to me. i lost like maybe 5 pikmin total. i think what makes it so easy is that there is very little risk in engaging, you throw 2 purple pikmin on the tail and when it falls over you rush with oatchi and that's it. the one scary thing about it is the final phase where it can do the roar that scatters pikmin into death pits but i didn't get hit by it because i'm epic and awesome like that. even then having one difficult thing at the end of an otherwise easy final boss just feels kind of cheap. -i wish the lineup trumpet wasn't a secret late game upgrade because i would have liked to play the rest of the game with it.

💕, 🦋, ✏️ and 👁️ for you, Luigi and/or Mario? [@solar-ships]
Yeah hooked on the Brothers!!! Thankyou very much @solar-ships!!
ask from HERE
💕- Who confessed first and how? Did it go as planned or did shenanigans ensue?
It was after I'd first been kidnapped by Bowser, we spent probably a full month locked away in the house in a sort of recovery. Just hanging out, playing games, eating delivery pizza, snuggled up on the comfiest couch.
One day out of the blue while we're just rewatching some nostalgic anime Mario asked if he could kiss me. Apparently there was a confession plan as Luigi got crazy upset about Mario going off script, shenanigans certainty ensued.
It wasn't anything big or romantic or emotional, it just happened. It felt right, natural, you know? There didn't need to be some big "I love you" realization, we already knew.
🦋 - How long did it take them to get out of the awkward early relationship stage? Have they gotten more confident around each other?
There wasn't one. We've known and loved eachother our whole lives. Transitioning from brothers to a couple was smooth as silk, mostly because nothing in the dynamic changed.
✏️ - How canon compliant are you with them? Do you stick pretty close or just have fun cause it’s your ship so no one can tell you what to do other wise?
Mario canon is sort of like a bowl of spaghetti; One the outside it looks like one long connected string, but in reality there's a lotta disconnected starts and ends, and it's up to you to chain them together.
Basically I am twirling Mario canon on my fork and doing my very best to stick as close to canon as possible, but some things absolutely have to change to make other things work.
You can check out my full Mario Timeline HERE if you're interested in my Mario Canon Spaghetti.
👁️: What exactly do they want with their future with each other? Is that something they think of often or do they just stay in the moment?
The Marios are very In the Moment people, with the exception of G-Poppy of course. So Mario, Luigi, and I don't think to hard or often of the future and what we want from it. We live in the moment, take every day as it is, and enjoy our time together.
#Thankyou for asking#Mario#mariocest#mario timeline spaghetti my beloved#I can fix you#Nintendo has never and will never make any game with a coherent timeline#And you know what I guess I'll respect that. For now.#Thanks again for asking!!!!!#joshi

OK WE CONTINUING BECUASE I HAD A COOL IDEA
So yknow how Mr Puzzles sorta has those moments in the shows where the characters realize somethings wrong? WELL, what if wren is the ghostly "behind the scenes guy" who is able to turn them back to their normalcy. (as in following the script) So in marios mysteries the scene where smg4 and mario see meggy tari and 3 on the screen suffering, when puzzles hits the screen wren changes it to them being happy. This also solves the reason why wren has unfinished buisness. To help Puzzles with his other shows so he can get the 5 stars.(This also explains the footage cutting at the ending in SMG4: Inside out its wren not wanting to reaveal hes working behind the scenes as a ghost.)
I do remember that, yes. Though I still have my doubts about Wren and this supposed "unfinished business". Like I said, Wren accepted his fate at the very end of Western Spaghetti. It's just hard for me to believe how it could be undone, y'know?
Other than that, well there isn't much evidence to speculate that Wren is working as a TV crew member. Keep trying tho, take your time and write your notes down on a google doc or something so you can keep track. Sometimes, having a bunch of annotations all over the place could make things confusing, and could contradict each other if you're not careful. Just some theorist tips for you :)
thanks for the ask!

I Thought since Twitter got it, you all deserved a copy/paste of it in one post (thank you Tumblr for better limits) it also has some rewrites to make it cooler and better since you're all awesome
I can't wait for my next few videos to be out! I'm doing another pac man chaos like video where I'm playing a certain amount of games of a series, but now it's all the games (minus some peripheral and mobile games) of a certain series! Another thing I'm extremely excited to do is playing games and voicing everything and everyone in the games for as long as I can handle. instead of worrying if I'm making too long of a video I'm just making it till I can't anymore! It'll be fun and I have plans for multiple games so don't just think it's one series or something! I will take time for each one though since sometimes I can get mixed up with my brain. Definitely what I'm ready to get finished is my leapfrog video, it's been in the making for so long with at least 3 different script changes and new footage being recorded here and there and new ideas randomly being put into my brain. I'm hoping to get this video done sooner or later since it's a lot of editing and making in general so fixing a date will probably only ever happen if im happy with the video, it needs my charm and feeling of enjoyment and it has to be something I'd want to watch(older versions felt boring and simple).I got some continuations of videos and a whole new playthrough to get you all interested! I'm constantly moving consoles around so sometimes the convenience of recording a paper Mario video or another gameshow video isn't available. It all depends on what console is plugged in and motivation, Definitely one of the reasons you see certain videos at certain times, like at the moment the console plugged in is my ps3 so playstation games and PC games are the easiest to get stuff for. If I wanted Wii/Wii U I'd have to go to the living room and unplug it to then set up the console and capture card,That's generally how this works for me, it's a bit unprofessional but It's what also gives new and unique videos, like gran Turismo 5 being last minute and silly, and then other playstation stuff coming soon just because it's what's available. It's also my mood for games, say I'm not in the mood for a big story or needing the most attention to be on the game, sometimes I want to play a random assortment of games and just talk! So things like Atari Hysteria and Mario Madness Exist for that, Sometimes I want to just play a game that interests me at the moment. I'll do quick 30-40 minute videos on games I'm in the mood for and just play and enjoy myself, it's fun and sometimes I get cool moments out of it. And that's how I do things for my channel!
Thank you all for reading and if you have any questions or requests you can always ask here! I'm always happy to answer whatever I can :D
