Genuine question for English speakers, do you attribute a taboo to vulgar words? In France we almost swear in every sentence in a relaxed or familiar context (in short, swear words are very common). So when a French person speaks English, they tend to swear by reflex (and me aswell) (not eveytime tho)

But I just realized that it may not be the same thing on the English-speaking side, who must surely take the French for extremely rude people lol

Are swear words just as common a thing for you? It's complicated to define the French's relationship to swear words (but know that basically we have a good repertoire, much larger than in English. We are very inventive)

Anyway, I don't want to come across as a vulgar girl in the eyes of non-French people lol

3. What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits) ?

Honestly, I am so proud of every fic I wrote this year. Because I managed to write in english, which is so not my first language (and sometime words are hard and languages just kind of merge in my head and what I'm saying or writing doesn't make sense anymore), and because I managed to write on a tight time schedule (5 fics in two months, which three and a half of them were written in one month for Scottuary).

I guess that if I have to choose one tho, it would probably be (Help) I'm Alive. It was the first fic I wrote this year and that fic has history : I rewrote it a lot, discarded it because of frustration, worked on it again, put it on hold to work on developing other ideas, deleted almost everything, rewrote some sections, deleted other sections, paused it again to start writing another fic and came back to it hit by inspiration.

30. Biggest surprise while writing this year ?

Working with a beta reader, hands down.

I've told @scribeoffate several times that I was thinking about asking someone to be my beta reader to see if it was something that could work for me but my shy ass never acted on it. Until last December and it was like one of the best decision I made that month ? I definitely got more confident as grammar and spelling were correctly correct this time (and it was my biggest mental block when writing in another language).

And the back and forth was SO GOOD !! Maybe because I had like the greatest mind as a beta (@momentofmemory i'm forever grateful <3) but talking about some sections of fic, and how to make it more flowing was really great. Like Anatomy of Healing Aching Scars would not be the same without her. So yeah, a really good surprise.

Bonjour la commu 💕 J'espère que vous allez toustes bien en ce troisième jour de décembre, que vous êtes satisfait.e.s de l'année écoulée et si non, sachez que je suis aussi dans la team de ceux qui ont HATE qu'elle se finisse, duh. Mais bon, rentrons dans le vif du sujet.

Depuis quelques temps je pense à ouvrir un Patreon. Je posterai toujours des avatars sur ce tumblr, évidemment, mais le Patreon me permettrait d'arrondir un peu les fins de mois difficiles (elles sont nombreuses) (quelle foutue idée j'ai eu d'aller vivre dans une capitale européenne hein), tout en proposant, pour les personnes qui y seront abonnées, un partage de ressources, pourquoi pas des tutoriels (god bless y'all, je suis pas une bonne prof, sauf pour vous apprendre à faire des cocktails jpp) (ça peut être une option aussi en soit), un système de commandes (surtout pour des designs de forums parce que même si j'adore faire ça, ça me prend un temps FOU, c'est pour ça que je propose très très rarement de le faire), etc.

Le prix ne serait évidemment pas exorbitant, ce serait de £3-4 par mois.

Qu'est-ce que vous en pensez? Est-ce que certain.e.s d'entre vous seraient partant.e.s? 👀 Gardez évidemment en tête que je ne force à RIEN, qu'aucun couteau n'est contre votre gorge, que si vous avez envie, vous le faites, sinon sans rancune! J'y ai surtout pensé encore plus quand on m'a dm récemment pour un travail commissionné donc je me suis dit que ça pourrait aussi être sympa d'offrir cette opportunité aux gens???

No I did not return in a while .. where I did return was the 🛌 .. just the elements of the 'nidra' overtook me and rather than fade out on the couch, chose to be horizontal ..

The ISPL , as has been promoted and delivered in adverts is well on its way to fructification and all the owners and the members that are involved , were needed to be in immortalised picture frames .. so yes , a photo cum meet shoot .. a very quick in and out between the evening hours .. with our friends and colleagues .. such a joy ..

Akshay one of the owners .. and an explanation to him about the surgery on my hand ..

Hrithik had done his shoot and had just left, to another engagement and we here were getting ready for ours, with yet another favourite, from the South - Suriya .. aah such a delight to have met him again .. and my extreme pleasure of sharing with him how greatly I admired that film song of his, on the film about Father and Son ..

Its a moment we shared on KBC, when we were having the Olympic Hockey Goalie on the 'garam kursi' .. PR Sreejesh .. and the winning moment when he saved the goal and won the medal, the KBC edit cut back to his Father, watching the game at home, simply exulted with the success .. and the song from Suriya's film .. AAHHHHHH .. played it a 100 times over and over again .. such an emotional moment .. and Suriya .. what an expression during that scene .. ufff .. can never get over it ..

The emotion of the real Father and Son relation and the moment in the game was simply incredible ..

PR Sreejesh as a kid had wanted to play Hockey, but because of his condition of lesser means never had a hockey stick .. he asked his Father to get him one .. but his Father could not buy even a hockey stick, because of their financial issues - did not have the money to buy it ..

So .. on Sreejesh 's insistence and wanting to give the Son what he wanted, his Father sold the only asset the family possessed - their cow .. the cow is considered a most sacred possession in most Hindu homes .. but the Father sold it to buy a hockey stick for his Son .. and his Son proves to all the World, what he was able to achieve, an Olympic medal .. and what a moment for his Father .. and that background song plays .. goodness .. tears in the eyes .. and a quivering heart .. !!

So Suriya .. before me and I narrate what I went through during that KBC moment .. and Akshay listening on .. and now disclosing to me that he is doing the remake in Hindi of that film ..

.. and the shoot for the pictures concludes with some fun and games

a few solo too ..

and the fun at another .. playing catch ..

Done .. home , dinner and 😴 .. with pleasant achievement of the Son , Abhishek , who's Kabaddi team wins an important and very tough game in Jaipur, against an opponent that had never lost so far in the tournament .. 🕺🕺🕺

and the laughter of success, but at the music Studio ..

And now to face the world again for another day

6 - Je dois avouer que je n'ai pas vraiment de faceclaims favoris, mais si je devais en dire un que je prendrais plaisir à (re)jouer c'est Florence Pugh (d'ailleurs j'ai grave envie de refaire un perso avec elle en ce moment jpp). Après il y a Sebastian Stan (pas du tout fan du mcu la meuf) et puis voilà, j'en ai pas d'autres vraiment favoris, je marche souvent au coup de coeur surtout des avatars de célébrités inconnu.e.s pour moi qui me font avoir des big crush mais je me modère parce que sinon j'aurais 120000 persos et je pourrais pas suivre du tout.
