im alright, toughing it out thru year 5, we're trying to kick each other's asses but oh well. It's been raining since yesterday and the shift between hot and cold girl, like 2-3 days ago it was 25°C and now it's like what 15°C? Absolutely mad what global warming has been doing. Also the whole thing with Palestine has been incredibly heavy and that's me sitting in the comfort of my home can't even imagine what people in Gaza are going through, that has been the event looming over our lives here, especially those of us with Palestinian origins like I am, we're doing a severe boycott for products and franchises supporting the enemy and trying our best to help where we can, it's crazy really, you can't go on living your normal day-to-day without feeling guilty because they're always on our minds as they should be, so yeah i assume you get it.

hello eboni love. how are you? how's your weekend going?

hello hello, I'm alright, a bit all over the place but managing ig. My weekend was a jumble of hurried proposal submissions, getting things done and celebrating my 3 cousins passing the 12th grade state exams, so you can say i am exhausted. In 30mins, I'll be on the way to my uni (1.15-1.30hrs) on the bus for our 'field training' which is basically just 2hrs of health education to anyone who stops by our stall. I need to hop to the dorm to drop my bags and get my labcoat, and after it's all over you bet I'm gonna sleep my ass off cuz i haven't had a wink yet, i couldn't sleep like a loser 🙄😂

Oh, definitely! I think it depends on how you word it!

I will note, however, that 5K might be a little short to swing it. For reference: Of Mice and Men is 30k and the first Harry Potter is about 77k

If I were to claim a fanfiction like- oh let’s just say the infamous My Immortal by XXXbloodyrists666XXX for example, I would probably say something like:

“Oh, yes, the novel I read is called My Immortal, I found a digital copy on an indie publishing site. It’s about 44 chapters- so not too long. Yeah, it was very interesting, A really cool interpretation of some classic vampire tropes filtered through the lens of the early 2000s. It explored themes like teenage drama and self discovery/sexuality as well as what happens when adults don’t deal with the consequences of their own actions, instead of pushing them off onto the younger generation. It had a very unique narration style, which reflected the main character’s personality as well as the values of era in which it was written.”
