*opens her mouth to speak, but as is her way at such pivotal moments, can't think what to say* Um...

*blinks several times and then smiles...and her loquaciousness kicks in * That's...wow...that's very kind of you. Thank you--the name is courtesy of my dad, but that's an old story for a...another day.

Anyway- I guess that we were both in the dark then--which I suppose shouldn't be a surprise when it comes to dealing with a man whose nature is to play things...close to the vest. *steps forward, offers her hand to shake* And I'm truly sorry that things went down like they did. I honestly meant no offense--I was just...gobsmacked...and truthfully, more than a little intimidated...I mean, mere mortal here, and I'm still not used to rubbing elbows with the indescribably...powerful and stunningly beautiful. I swear, I meant no offense...and once Stephen made the why of the situation clear, well...color me contrite and embarrassed.

Now, I don't know if Stephen even quite believes me yet, but once I understood, I wouldn't have asked for you to leave. I mean...I didn't ask, but by then things just took on a life of their own, didn't they? I hope we can get past this...*bites lip* kerfuffle...because Stephen deserves good people in his life, who can appreciate all the good that he's done...is doing...and all the good that he doesn't let himself see, that he is.

It had been long since Wanda last had a word with Banner, and this exact thought had her pondering where in life her old coworkers and in a sense, friends, were. "Hopefully, you can spare a witch a few minutes?" Wanda began with a slight smile. "I've been thinking about everyone. You too. And I was wondering how you're doing. How have you been, Bruce?"

“ For my favorite witch? I’ve always got time. “ Bruce was forever a busy bee. Working in the lab was the one thing he knew how to do better than anyone. It was a home away from home really. Despite being in a button up shirt, he decided to keep the lab coat off as this was his personal space. His gamma monitor was tight on his wrist, giving him a bit more control over his transformations then before. Things had certainly changed around them, including the young Wanda, who had grown up extremely quickly in the time he’d been there and gone.

“ Well, had a bit of family trouble. Nothing like my own childhood but my cousin.. well. Don’t suppose you’ve seen her all over social media by now? “

"Thor, I'm planning out a girls' night and I was wondering if you have any Asgardian ale or liquor that I could borrow? We'll definitely need something a tad bit stronger, considering we all are... magically enhanced? It sounds even weirder out loud."

“Girls night out! Woo! You want me to supply the alcohol but I’m not invited to this girls night out? Because we are friends, I will do you this favour, but I’m telling you if anyone has problems as a result of it, I told you it was strong. Where do I need to meet you to drop the supplies off?”

"A witch of chaos, you say?" The trickster god narrowed his eyes as he looked over the witch. He could sense the vibration of magic in the air, but it was unlike anything he had ever tampered with before.

"Yes, an alliance with you would be a wise course of action indeed..." He placed his hands behind his back and slightly rolled back his shoulders. "But what can you offer? Show me a taste of your power."

Two hands enveloped Draco's torso from behind, and if it wasn't for the silver rings on their slender fingers, then surely the figure's low, warm voice gave away their identity. "Malfoy. I'm missed you, Golden boy," Wanda muttered into the crook of his neck, grinning as she inhaled his signature expensive scent. The redhead burrowed her face further into his shoulder, loving the feeling of having her friend back into her protective embrace. "Care to share how your summer's been so far?"

The moment hands wrapped around his frame, he tensed up. But then he relaxed, a soft noise coming from the back of his throat. Fingers moving to rest upon the all so familiar hands of his best friend. ❝Maximoff!! I've missed you too babydoll.❞ Draco mused, eyes closing momentarily. Feeling completely safe in her embrace so he made no attempts to move. Eyes flickering open as he turned his head a bit to look at Wanda, inhaling through his nose then exhaling through his mouth. ❝Honestly, it's surely been something. How about yours?❞

(It could be intrusive of me to pick her up...but it also would be cruel to leave her here since it's cold. Using my telekinesis on her is out of question since I would be using my powers on her without consent...)

*covers the Wanda, then gets a comfy futon and sleeps on it on the floor nearby while conjuring a heating spell for them both*

Hiii!! The shadow ban must be a pain in the neck and I'm so sorry you're struggling with reaching out to people and vice versa. Oh, honey, it is! I'm slowly finding little chinks and work arounds, but I miss being able to DM and reply on people's posts or the comments they make on mine. No need to apoligize for not being active--you've got an incredibly full plate, and I tip my hat to you🙇.

The birthday threads were cute, although the party didn't quite happen as planned as Stephen mun had important life stuff to attend to. If it ever plays out, you are of course, very welcome to join in. I saw the gift you gave him, and it was brilliant and pure Wanda.

Wishing you all the best as the weeks speed towards semester's end. I bet that's a break you're feeling every day, can't come soon enough!
