VOTE 🗳
Chris is doing interviews for ASP.
-
You're watching on your phone, curled up on the bed. You can't stop watching his mouth move, listening to the drop of his voice or hitch in laughter.
Chris is gorgeous.
He lifts his chin with a laugh, and your eyes are drawn to his neck. To the line of his throat, his vein bulging and sweat shining.
You think about kissing him, licking him, and
Peeking out from the collar of his shirt is a dark bruise. It's covered enough that you wouldn't notice it unless you're looking.
How many people are looking?
Sharp stings of pleasure prickle your skin.
A flush heats your body.
You had your teeth on his neck the night before, holding on tight while he rammed into you.
When your orgasm hit, you almost yelled out but caught yourself — on Chris's neck.
Guilt tickles the back of your neck. He's doing his job and needs to look presentable for these things.
Another thought makes you shake your head.
"Why don't you come with me for these trips?" Chris asked you.
You weren't going to say no. Spending time with Chris is always welcome.
Also, you'll get to see him all dressed up for big wig interviews. See his stern face on camera as he bites his fingers and listens intently.
Chris was giving you something.
Of course you took it.
It's politics. The beliefs he has, how deeply he feels them, and how he works to help others become involved.
He becomes a different person.
He becomes someone you shouldn't be allowed to touch but somehow are.
The stream ends.
You set the phone down, breathing harshly, squeezing your thighs together. Your hand slips between them, feeling the heat dampen on your fingers.
The bathroom door clicks open, and Chris steps out, hair wet from his shower, towel tossed over his shoulder.
"What'd ya think?"
"I have a few questions." Chris steps towards you.
"Yeah?" He dips down to the bed, kneeling over you before dropping for a kiss.
"Yes," He's strong, warm, steady when you wrap your legs around them, "How important is my vote."
Chris smirks, then pulls you into a kiss.

Judi Dench gets chatty and cheeky about Shakespeare
Part intimate memoir, part insightful commentary, Dench’s book, written with Brendan O’Hea, shows how the Dame and the Bard make a winning combination
April 11, 2024
Tumblr media
Review by Malcolm Forbes
At one stage in her long and glittering career, Judi Dench might have agreed with half of the old show business dictum to never work with children or animals. In 1987, she was playing the title heroine in a production of Shakespeare’s “Antony and Cleopatra” at the National Theatre in London. Three harmless snakes were playing the deadly asps; one of them escaped. After receiving the fatal venomous bite and departing “this vile world,” Dench’s Egyptian queen was carried off the stage to what sounded to her like hissing from the audience. When Dench came back on to take her bow, she saw the missing serpent slithering out the side of her wig. “Old snakey, he wanted to be there for the curtain call,” she recalls. Not that she reacted so lightly at the time: “I lost my voice for two days, I was so traumatized.”

This is only one of many colorful anecdotes to be found in a new book in which the much-loved and critically lauded actress celebrates Shakespeare’s art and comments on her craft. It is a craft Dench has honed to perfection over a career spanning seven decades, from the role of Ophelia in “Hamlet” in 1957 as an ingenue fresh out of drama school to Paulina in “The Winter’s Tale” in 2015 while an 81-year-old national treasure. “Shakespeare: The Man Who Pays the Rent” takes the form of in-depth interviews that Dench gave over four years. Part intimate memoir, part insightful commentary, the book shows how the Dame and the Bard make a winning combination.
Each chapter revolves around an individual play and Dench’s role or roles in it. Her interlocutor, the actor and director Brendan O’Hea, steers her through the drama and feeds her questions or prompts relating to a variety of aspects, from plot strands to line delivery to character development. Dench shares her expertise and her experience, and along the way sprinkles in witty recollections from productions.
In the opening section on “Macbeth,” she reveals that the Scottish play was the reason she went into theater in the first place. For her, it has everything: “Beautifully constructed, terrific story, great part, good memories — I remember so much of it. Short, no interval, pub (Dirty Duck): heaven.” She views “Macbeth” as a thriller and in other chapters argues that “The Merry Wives of Windsor” resembles a pantomime and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” a comic sex romp (“Titania and Oberon are so randy”). In the latter, she enjoyed playing First Fairy, a character with an attitude and an agenda: “She can’t hang around chatting, justifying her movements to some sprite she doesn’t know — she has a job to do.”
Tumblr media
When playing Mistress Quickly in “Henry V,” Dench imagined her as “flinty, as if she’s been hewn out of rock,” while as lonely soul Imogen in “Cymbeline” she “often felt like Sisyphus pushing an enormous boulder up a hill.” Dench had a better time of it as Hamlet’s mother, “Dirty Gerty,” and particularly relished being bedecked in extravagant costumes and jewelry. As Dench remarks, “I think Gertrude is quite a bling person.”
Discussions of some plays and parts provide springboards to fascinating tangential topics. While dissecting “Coriolanus,” Dench muses on why certain plays are more popular than others. An examination of “The Merchant of Venice” — for Dench “a horrible play” — leads to the issue of censorship. And during reflections on “King Lear,” Dench veers off to speak out against updating Shakespeare to render his work more accessible: Simplifying him, she argues, “traduces the language, reduces our imagination.”
Tumblr media

At regular junctures, Dench imparts nuggets of wisdom. We learn about lighthouse acting and pickup lines. We get a how-to guide in miniature — how to play comedy and tragedy, how to give a soliloquy and speak iambic pentameter. Dench believes that less is more in her profession: “Acting is learning how to edit,” she explains. “Finding the minimum we have to do to create the maximum effect.” She has little time for actors who take the role home with them (“You take the character off with the costume”) or who, in pre-performance read-throughs, “sit around and intellectualize it all.” On several occasions, she employs a character to illustrate her point: Fight scenes have to be choreographed, she says, “otherwise you’re going to get through a lot of Desdemonas.”
The book is interspersed with short sections on theater-related subjects, with titles as varied as “Critics,” “Audience,” “Rehearsal,” “Stratford-upon-Avon” (“where my heart is,” Dench confesses) and the inviting “Fireside Ramblings.” Here and elsewhere, Dench recounts tales of acting alongside the likes of Ian McKellen, Kenneth Branagh, Daniel Day-Lewis, Anthony Hopkins and her late husband, Michael Williams. Her most compelling stories relate to antics backstage (“a subterranean world which the audience never get to see — and maybe for the better”) and hiccups onstage — careless accidents, dubious props and mangled lines. Once, in “Romeo and Juliet,” she sneezed while lying on her lover’s tomb; another time, she spoke the line “Where is my father and my mother, nurse?” — and heard her father call out, “Here we are, darling, in row H.”
Dench likes when things backfire — “There’s magic to be mined in mistakes” — and many of her stories and responses are imbued with impish glee. She comes across as chatty and cheeky but also perceptive and analytical. In addition, she is impressively no-nonsense, quick to chide O’Hea for overthinking matters, and refreshingly self-deprecating, describing her Cleopatra as not so much a stately sovereign as a “menopausal munchkin.”
This book could have been a cross between a starchy academic study and a meandering trawl through Dench’s past glories. Instead, it is a delight, at once lively, captivating and informative. At 89, Dench’s eyesight is deteriorating, but she refuses to let age completely wither her. Throughout these pages, her memory remains prodigious, her passion for Shakespeare undimmed, and she still has the capacity to entertain.
Malcolm Forbes is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in the Economist, the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal and the New Republic.

The similarities between closeted right-wingers and Chris Evans
Alternative title: "Dear Mr. future president Evans,"
Recently, I saw how Chris Evans met Joe Biden. For people who don't know. Chris Evans has a political online platform called ASP. This was not the first time he met a famous politican but meeting the president of the United States is something else. It should be clear by now why he does that... Anyway, it reminded me of the gossip I found recently:
As I mentioned in my last big blog post, about Chris' potential boyfriends, I am not really a fan of marvel and didn't know much about him during his time as Captain America. I only got interested after he started the cringeworthy PR relationship in November 2022. In 2018, I was made aware of how many closeted celebrities exist and Mr. Evans being so clumsy with his Portugal bride gave me the perfect opportunity to uncover this Hollywood facade.
Tumblr media
As you can see, I have also been asked by a lot of people why I think Chris could be closeted (either gay, bi or a straight guy who doesn't want to commit and just sleeps around). I will answer these questions in relation to today's topics: I. The Portugal PR relationship is mostly done for his future political career (or that was the plan before the backlash) II. The behavior of closeted right-wingers resembles Chris Evans' III. Portugal Bride was not the first PR relationship rumor but why does a rich, attractive and alleged womanizer like Chris need PR relationships all the time? As I always say. Everything on my tumblr is alleged. I merely summarize what people speculate online and give my own opinion on that.
Tim Scott, a failed GOP 2024 candidate and alleged closeted gay man, announced on X that he got engaged to a woman:
Tumblr media
As you can see from the screenshot, no one's buying it. It is rumored Tim Scott is doing this because he will be chosen as Trump's vice president. People online claim that Tim Scott being gay has been talked about way before the first "Why doesn't have Tim Scott have a girlfriend" articles:
Tumblr media
I heard about Tim Scott being gay and being pressured to have a PR girlfriend around the same time Chris pretended to have gotten married in September and that made me think... I can't find the comment anymore but I remember someone of Chris' fans on the LSA forum suggesting that Chris' "A starting point" political platform isn't just for shits and giggles. Apparently, he wants to go into politics after his acting career. No idea how successful he will be now with that after his latest movie flops and the Portugal relationship having led to lost followers on his social media accounts because it made him appear as a "dollar store Leonardo DiCaprio" but in general..., this idea isn't too far off. Remember the Terminator aka Arnold Schwarzenegger? An action hero became the Governor of California and with Chris Evan's fake Captain America image, pretending online and in interviews to be like Steve Rogers, he could sway a lot of people too!
Remember. The alleged marriage wasn't the first PR relationship of Chris Evans. At least according to his fandom, when they explained how he and Portugal Bride met, he was involved in several other PR relationships before:
Tumblr media
According to this person, the relationships with Christina Ricci and Minka Kelly from long ago, were planned by a PR team too and it adds up with a blog post I found years ago about how Minka is allegedly a beard for my back then favorite actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Bearding appears to be a career of its own in Hollywood: https://gaywriter.wordpress.com/2012/06/19/blind-item-jake-gyllenhaal-is-looking-for-a-new-female-beard-to-present-illusion-of-heterosexuality-to-fans/
Tumblr media
So his PR team not only allegedly had several options next to the Portugal Bride (like Monica Barbaro) but they were apparently also responsible for his faked relationship with Lily James? It is rumored that Lily wanted more from this PR arrangement from back in 2020. Possibly real love? The social media site Icons+ reports that "Lily James left Chris Evans to be a millionaire's "other woman"". She basically publicly "cheated" on Chris and many gossip sites reported on it. Did Lily do that as revenge because Chris solely wanted PR and rejected her? Kinda like "if you don't give me real love, I ain't giving you positive PR either". It makes me wonder though. Why would a heterosexual man privately reject a pretty woman like Lily James after wanting to be seen with her in paparazzi photographs after all? Odd.
Tumblr media
Yes, Chris' alleged personal Paparazzo with the name Jesal basically admitted that he was called to do the pictures with Lily back in 2020 (Nowadays, he seems to be busy with the Portugal PR relationship as you can see from the screenshot, where he was called for a christmas party Portugal Bride and Chris attended). This reminds me of of another failed 2024 GOP candidate who is rumored to be closeted. There is a medium article regarding Ron DeSantis called "Is the GOP gossiping that Ron DeSantis is gay?", how most if not all of the GOP party know about his alleged homosexualty:
Tumblr media
As you can see, not just his own party but the general public thinks so too. In fact, they speak about Ron DeSantis' being closeted the same way some people speak about Chris being allegedly closeted:
Tumblr media
The replies to this dailymail article about Chris' and Portugal Bride's relationship-reveal, demonstrate that people think that both Chris and Ron overplay the alpha male macho tough guy image, solely to cover their true sexual orientation.
But PR relationships can also have another function. As I pointed out on my blog before: There are many heterosexual men I know who just wanted to sleep around but because of societal pressure, they pretend to be monogamous. The latest political example of that seems to be Gavin Newsom who has been in the news for being an alleged serial cheater. He was already caught cheating back in 2007. On X I found this summary of his latest shenanigans: (TRIGGER WARNING: mention of SA)
Tumblr media
Why do I mention Ron DeSantis and Gavin Newsom in relation to Chris Evans? Because they all have one thing in common. A fake stable married man image. Look at the header picture of DeSantis and Newsom on X. Newsom holding his son in his harm. A few weeks ago, DeSantis had a header picture of holding his children's hands and the latest picture, you can see right now, also shows his wife and kids again to portray the family man image while allegedly being someone completely different (a closet case = Ron, a cheater= Gavin). Sorry not sorry but when I saw those header images combined with the rumors I knew about those two guys, I immediately though that Chris is not so different. He also calls the paparazzi, so he can be portrayed for the public as a guy who has a stable relationship and doesn't randomly sleep around in all kids of places.
As someone pointed out on the Lipstick Alley thread called "Chris Evans Relationship Theories 5", he used to go to parties similar to the ones seen in the movie "Eyes Wide Shut" but these rumors were allegedly scrapped by his team when he became Captain America. Why did they worry so much about this specific gossip? Was it true after all? Apparently this goes back as far as 2006:
Tumblr media
I have no problems with that because I am pro sexual liberation. I actually point this out so we can normalize this and let people be who they really are, so that they don't have to do these fake relationships anymore.
I mean, remember the screenshot from my "Chris Evans possible boyfriends" post? The user ShellyT20... how she described that a lot of PR relationships in Hollywood exist because the male actors either sleep with each other, have p-word scandals and/or are serial cheaters "but post fake romance stuff on IG and other public platforms. It gives a fake sense of normalcy and stability and shuts fans up for the most part as well as acting as a distraction." When I read this I got reminded of the public "beyond the blinds podcast" episode you can listen to on spotify. The one about the Hemsworth brothers. There it was alleged that Chris Hemsworth is constantly cheating. I wasn't surprised. He isn't my type but I can't deny that he is what most consider super attractive + tall + rich = in no way is this guy monogamous as a famous hollywood actor (LMAO the audactiy to even thinkt hat)... Sadly, when I confront some people with that... for instance Evans fans on LSA or X, most roll their eyes and don't believe that.... They were like: "How can a guy like C. Hemsworth, who posts social media posts about loving being a father and being married for over a decade possibly be such a bad guy"... ... ... ... ... Well and this the reason why Hollywood still fools you with PR relationships because most of you are gullible. You want to see men married with children and as long as the women are age appropriate, you eat it up. And all this goes even beyond these Hollywood celebrities and politicians the general public is aware of. Apparently, even e-celebs are in PR relationships/fake image relationships these days. The youtuber TheQuartering, who said he was partying with right-wing e-celebs said this about them last year: (TRIGGER WARNING: transphobic slur)
Tumblr media
Just like how Chris Evan's fans are disappointed that he wasn't the internet boyfriend after all (his fake image for the 2010s) and started to date random young women like Leonardo DiCaprio and Bradley Cooper, TheQuartering was disappointed too with his right-wing colleagues, who pretended to be committed husbands with children while actually being a closeted pride parade. The right-wing commentarors TheQuartering talks about are: Elijah Schaffer, Jack Posobiec and Mike Cernovich. When I found that out I was shocked. I was like "So even these e-celebs are basically "their own Hollywood club" and need PR relationships to function publicly". It really shows how deep gender roles are still ingrained in our society. That even internet-famous people have to have a family man image and portray themselves in a certain way to become "e-celeb-A-list". And if they don't, they will be denied that status.
Tumblr media
I know it hurts that your favorite A-list stars are also wife cheaters and that their activism is most likely fake only so that they can continue participating in Hollywood orgies (Which apparently already happen on the e-celeb level). But at one point it had to come out and isn't it better to accept reality than to participate in and support these fake scenarios only to feel better about the world? Cause it is not just TheQuartering who exposed the fake image of the right-wing online community. Blaire White, a right-winger herself, pointed out the same. As people say, where there is smoke, there is fire:
youtube
In this video at 55:35 regarding Blaze Media, Blaire White spills tea about closeted e-celebs. It also includes orgies and drugs... like with our favorite super hero (allegedly).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Blaire is not the only one who knows about the orgy parties)
Lastly, one of the most famous right-wing e-celebs is Steven Crowder. On his channel he had a video where he once admitted that he had a bisexual phase... a phase..
Tumblr media
And according to his own logic that means:
Tumblr media
youtube
He also went so far and basically created beard twins. I remember clearly the video where he announced the pregnancy of his wife. He held up a picture into the camera from an ultrasound. It was like "See, I am hetero after all. Are you happy now?". That's at least my opinion on how the video looked like and it adds up with what peole usually say about him:
Tumblr media
Honestly, if someone had told me that this text is about Chris Evans, I'd have believed it and so now we have come full circle. While I only know about Chris Evan's since the pandemic (As I said, I don't watch super hero movies), I am still disappointed. In some interviews, he appeared so adorable, awkward and different from other men in Hollywood (like when he was interviewed about his "Lightyear movie announcement" tweet on Jimmy Kimmel). But in the end he is no better than the closeted republicans. Portraying a conservative image of marriage while behind closed doors it is worse than a sitcom trying to convince you that canned laughter makes everything funnier.
Tumblr media
(picture: Is this the awkwardness people talk about? Adorable...)
Yes, there have always been rumors that his real personality is being "weird and awkward" and that he is not just acting in movies but also in most interviews. It goes so far that someone claimed he had been rejected on a date and that's why some people assume it is actually him who initiated the Portugal PR relationship and basically paid for it because he can't get someone himself through normal means. Are some people punished with their good looks?
Tumblr media
IMO just like with the married right-wing e-celebs who do orgies all the time, it is also a bad idea of Chris wanting to become a father (at least according to his "sexiest man alive" PR narrative from 2022 which seems to be in the trash can now too).
But let's assume his PR team has that still on their minds: Not only would it be solely for his image (which would make this situation PR either way, even if the marriage were real) but according to all his alleged wild ways, he is also unfit to parent, it would be a disaster actually. Controversial commentator Pearl Davis described it very well. How some people just shouldn't be parents:
Tumblr media
I agree with Vale. She would just be in it for the image of being a married woman and in our case... a married, monogamous, non-cheating family man. A user on LSA said that when you switch out "fake nails" with "fake teeth" in Pearl Davis' message, you will have the pefect description of Chris Evans:
Tumblr media
(Chris Evans being interviewed at the Lightyear premiere resembling Barry Manilow with too much botox) Sorry but after seeing this picture, I have to agree with her. I love his clothing style but a bi-peacock who is more interested in vanity and fake status will never be a good role model for children. As the saying goes: "You can't have it both ways"
I know this is all a tough pill to swallow but c'mon people. This is the year 2024 and at one point this fakeness just needs to stop. Celebrities, politicians and even social meda e-celebs... you are being fooled. And according to Hollywood insider and daughter of famous TV personality John Walsh, a lot of times, one partner of the arrangement is suffering. Is this really what you support? I don't and that's why I uncover all these PR relationships of the entertainment world because as a true progressive, I don't think that people should be judged based on outdated gender expectations like marriage and monogamy.
Tumblr media
The closet kills... your real personality. I mean honestly, what do you gain from being remembered after your death as someone you never were? As Joan Rivers jokes at 0:43 in a short clip from 1966. This so called bearding has been going on forever. I don't think we need a 100th anniversary of this shameful practice. So please help me to expose this so that in the future, celebrities can become famous for truly being themselves.

The question is: how much work did Chris actually put into it and how much was other people doing the work for him?
RE: ASP
Look, I don't question how much work we saw him putting into it. I think ASP showed a lot of how much he was working on it, and we saw him taking off his few breaks from Defending Jacob filming to spend in DC getting interviews done. He did more advance press/promo for it then for some of his movies. I think his commitment to it was very real through the election of 2020. Then we saw it fade fast. I think it's an interesting illustration of how fast his interest wanes when something doesn't go the way he thought it would. *cough*

A while back @saltygilmores directed me to an AYITL era interview with Milo I thought was interesting. Milo had infamously said on a talk show (Jimmy Fallon, I think) that it mattered less if Jess were "Team Jess" than if Jess were "Team Rory". I thought that meant that Jess would be supportive of whatever was best for Rory, but....
Tumblr media
...it appears that's maybe not exactly what he meant. Milo doesn't encourage the ship because he doesn't think Rory would be good for Jess because of how she hurt him in the past. Also he would rather have you talk about whatever he's working on now and please shut up about the baby daddy questions, please.
There's been a lot of speculation (here and elsewhere) on Milo coming back to film a Literati-centered sequel to AYITL over the years. I've heard it said often here that Milo was unhappy that Jess didn't win the ship war. I was told so many times over the years that Milo and Amy were just waiting for This Is Us to finish so they could film a follow-up, that Milo intentionally planned for The Company We Keep to be a one-season show so he could run back and film AYITL 2, etc. but the truth is....he's not a shipper. He thinks it was great that Jess went off and became a better person and formed a great life on his own and was an inspiration to Rory to change her own life. But he doesn't think it's in Jess's best interest to reconcile with her. He wants him to keep his own happy ending, where he's happy and mature and well-adjusted. And he's right.
I think recently with the proliferation of podcasts and clickbait media writing about the show that AYITL is seen as something that's not quite canon, and people have given up on the sequel. Which I actually think is a positive development. There have been rumors that Milo wouldn't film any romantic scenes with Alexis in AYITL, that Alexis shut down AYITL 2 talks because she didn't want to be involved in it...all of that is neither here or there, because I think everyone's accepted that it's over. So the story won't be concluded any more than it already has been, except in our heads.
As for Jess, the insistence that he's the sole threat to Rory's well-being the first time he tries to reconcile with her and that he's the destructive or morally inferior force that's going to bring her down is a very inaccurate interpretation of the situation. Running away together was not a good idea, but neither was Rory sleeping with a married man and helping destroy someone else's marriage...and she is primarily so cruel and dismissive of Jess because she's hurtling towards that adulterous affair that she imagines will validate and affirm her and Jess is going to get in the way. Just because Dean lied and manipulated her into it doesn't mean what she was doing wasn't already wrong, nor does it excuse her actions or the fact that she didn't regret what she did for years. The fact that she didn't make this mistake single-handedly doesn't mean she wasn't responsible for her role in it.
So, yes, she hurt him instead of gently saying no and backing away from Dean before anyone else got damaged by her behavior with him. He took that hurt and made a great life for himself but when he meets her again on fresh terms as an adult and she uses him again...yeah, it's not in his best interest to try again unless Rory has changed her behavior and isn't going to use him as one more competing figure in her endless love triangles. He changed and she didn't, at least not in the way that would make him believe he could trust her again.
Which doesn't mean they can't be friends in the meantime or that she's not capable of changing....but it has not happened yet, and as long as ASP is in charge it won't, because she doesn't believe in character development for her main characters. So I think Milo was on the right track with his thinking on this one. Jess shouldn't reconcile with Rory until she's grown up enough to be good for him. I do imagine it happens because I believe change is possible...but it shouldn't happen until there is some serious character growth on her part.
Jess should not have to atone forever for the shit he did in high school, and Rory is not some blameless dream girl who wasn't capable of inflicting serious emotional damage on her own, often in very cruel and catastrophic ways. And as she grew older, the damage she did (or tried to do) to Jess actually got worse. She is not morally superior to him by the end, and he shouldn't have to prove himself to her. It should be the other way around. His happiness matters at least as much as hers does, if not more.

From an Interview with the American Solidarity Party Candidate
Fr. Longnecker: Big question — Isn't a third party vote a wasted vote? Peter Sonski: A vote cast is not a wasted vote. A vote cast for a candidate who upholds the policy positions and principles of the voter is never wasted! Too often people commiserate that they voted for the lesser of two evils. Hopefully the ASP provides a desirable alternative.

I've always had the feeling that CE and Mark Kassen were two arrogant idiots who thought that because they gave themselves an image of political integrity, they could pretend to open a political platform. Just look how these two conducted an interview during ASP… by asking condescending questions without counter-arguments. They were mostly inept people talking nonsense most of the time that's why they have often been call out by people in the know. People were watching the videos only to see CE, let's be honest. If this signing story is true, we have to stop kidding ourselves, this man is anything but smart. If his life is in such a state, it's because he is an imbecile who thinks he's better than others, when it's not ! People are sick and tired of Hollywood preachers who think they're saviors when they're hiding rapists and pedophiles in their midst. Boldness is outrageous !

*sighs*
Venting I guess:
I really meant what I said about ASP being an echo chamber for only two groups of people with ample funding and that still bothers me
I understand and respect the reasons behind it's creation and while nothing that is in a state of development is perfect I do worry about it potentially being used as a tool to perpetuate the already existing flux in American politics
Overall I don't consider it a failure of any kind, it is continuing to do what it set out to, but much like many online platforms (social media) it can also end up being used as a tool for something it wasn't originally intended to be used for
In my own country we have very different rules surrounding elections, our ballots are all counted and the result is not finalised until that is completed and verified and checked, our electoral lines are adjusted due to population growth so one area does not have more of a say than another, our MMP system spreads the power balance etc etc
On election day there is absolutely no advertisement or campaigning allowed by either the representatives or members of the public at all as it is a day set aside for the vote, not campaigning, people have been fined for doing so as it is seen as a form of coercion and is strictly policed
Anyway I seguéd.....what was my point....
My biggest concern remains over access to an audience, which for a politicians audience awareness and name recognition helps them stay elected, and whether or not the current way ASP is set up will inadvertently give the current officials an unfair advantage in retaining the voters attention and tipping the actual vote in their favour during the actual election if they are to be still giving interviews during that period
So while ASP may be intended to educate about issues, it may also be used as a way to manipulate and influence the election
My only suggestion as I've said before would be a separate section or even a secondary website that operates on the same fact checking terms with the same safety nets and groups checking ASP specifically for that period that enables the same set of questions to be put to all of the candidates, evening the playing field instead of leaving it to potentially be "bought" through outside funding those candidates receive and people who already hold those positions maintaining their hold not through what it is they are representing but simply overall "brand awarenesses"
I remember a conversation I once had with Gareth Hughes where he reminded me that Democracy requires participation, the thing is it also requires everyone to have the same level of access, otherwise you run the risk of continuing an oligarchy wearing the mask of democracy
One set of candidates should not have unfair advantages over the others, everyone deserves the opportunity to speak and be heard if they wish to participate
It's the one thing I've always loved about the local debates here, every party that has a member standing in that regional area has the opportunity to speak on the same topic at the same time on the same stage, it's certainly an education in the variety of views we have here and helped opened my eyes

Lily clearly pulled a “nevermind hoe” with that married man tho 💀💀//
yeah i have to think that the novelty of dating him or just being around him might wear off quick depending on the person’s personality 💀 especially for someone already as famous and successful as lily james. he doesn’t really have anything that she can’t already get for herself so she doesn’t have to force herself to tolerate him for some benefits lmao
i’ve never been a marvel fan or in marvel circles so i remember my honest first impression of chris wasn’t stellar and i honestly couldn’t understand all the hype around him. yes he’s attractive but the way people talk you would think he’s literally the only attractive man ever to exist and there’s no man that surpasses or even matches his attractiveness it’s so wild. like it was genuinely very confusing to me???? i was like lowkey this man looks like a pencil what are you seeing please
but i was like this many people can’t be wrong right? and maybe i’m just being overly judgmental so i watched some of his interviews and i thought this man is a little phony like his laughing where he clutches his left pec is a bit over the top and the way he would talk over people was a bit questionable at times but then i watched some of his more reflective stuff and i know he wasn’t saying anything hugely profound but i was like huh maybe there is another side to him and he genuinely has a desire to explore “deeper” topics and he’s not just a basic white bread overgrown disney kid with basic tastes 💀 mind you this was covid so like i had time lmao
so i started warming to him because i admired the thoughtfulness i thought i saw in him and i was like maybe his big ass laughing is genuine and he really is just that joyous and dorky and dumb in a jumbo way and maybe i just can’t relate because we’ve had different life experiences and i started to see him differently especially when i saw his interactions with scott and lisa i was like ohhhh that’s just how your family is valid plus when he was being so vocal about social justice issues i was like okay maybe you alright white man. i liked that he had such a sense of justice and connection to humanity and what was right and wrong that he felt compelled to speak even though he did not need to. ohhh you’re gonna make a whole ass political platform even though you’re not a politician because you’re just that passionate? wow okay respect 🫡
like obviously he still said and did some dumb white man things because he is a dumb white man in a world that allows dumb white men to remain dumb white men. like why are you as a white man speaking on kanye? shhhh 🤫 why are you saying a black family forgiving the murder of their loved one is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen? like that’s gross fr i’m begging please shut up shut up shut up why did you think participating in a white savior movie was a good idea? why was asp going to do a series in the middle east that you didn’t go through with bc twitter rightfully dragged your ass so bad????? why do you seem so pro military and pro police? 😭 why did you autograph a prop bomb that represents the killings of innocent people? but my ass really thought he was genuine and his heart was in the right place and he would grow in his activism as he was exposed to new ideas 🙄 i know I’M the dummy
i don’t even know what i’m saying atp lmao the peer pressure brainwashing worked i guess like i don’t think he’s satan but maybe he is very much just some obnoxious guy who laughs too loud and deep down i still don’t understand why the karolinas and captreginas in his fandom find him so remarkable and magical and even the general public too. people REALLY like him. is he truly truly objectively that goddamn fucking attractive? like is it actually that serious? is it literally just the steve rogersificaion of his public image? i don’t even know where i stand anymore i’m just here observing‍♀️
SORRY for the novel 😭💀
(also curious to know your first impressions of chris? are you an og fan? 👀)
Don’t worry bestie, feel free to vent 😂
I had been into Chris for a while, I witnessed him dating Minka and everything; never got in the depths of the fandom tho, I guess lurking never piqued my interest. And through the years my attention to him has swayed on and off.
My impression of him is that I found him endearing and sounded like a genuinely nice guy (and maybe he is, specially in a social level) and honestly I enjoyed his movies; to this day I think that as an actor he had or has potential to be better. And of course he’s done things that at first glance can easily charmed the public into thinking he’s very unique; for example having a political platform and being outspoken about certain things; he’s the guy with the cute dog that he rescued; it might sound silly but I genuinely liked him dating age appropriate women, I did think that little fact set him apart and (the worst of all, now I understand how this isn’t necessarily a nice/kind pov) dating Jenny did wonders for his image somehow, I vividly remember talking to another fan about this, how non-superficial he was for dating her, that it showed he valued character and personality the most 🤩
Maybe the peer pressure worked on me too 😂 I don’t think he’s the devil or anything; I would say he’s just disappointing; and I see character flaws coming to the surface right now, stuff that do not necessarily align with how he was portrayed, plus learning and rethinking other things. I definitely do not see him the same way anymore. I mean at the end it’s his life and he doesn’t owe strangers anything; but I guess we are also in the court of public opinion.

Introduction
Do you ever wonder what could go beyond the status quo in the healthcare system; especially if you realize that there were about 48 million non-elderly Americans who were uninsured in 2010. (Finegold et al., 2021). The absence of health insurance can have devastating consequences for the financial well-being (FWB) of those who suffer from a severe illness or get seriously injured in an accident. Financial challenges faced by uninsured individuals in case of a mishap include delinquency on medical and non-medical bills, reduced access to credit, and increased chances of fling for bankruptcy (Dobkin et al., 2018; Hu et al., 2018)
It might be possible that the status quo only needs minor changes to improve the system overall; especially when considering that people in the political system spout wanting more of a market-based or more of a command-based system when we already have a mixed economic system. This is especially true in the United States of America.

Background Information and Literature Review:
Consider that many people cannot afford health care; even when there have been attempts to get more people health care insurance. They have to rely on someone else's money to provide their health care; whether that is help from the government or a not-for-profit organization (which includes friends and family).

Thesis Statement:
My question to answer is this:
When is it necessary to utilize government help for funding health care and when is it necessary to utilize not-for-profit organizations? This involves Medicaid, Medicare, the AA health insurance marketplace, and COBRA (which includes health care for adults and children with low-income and people who are 65 and older who qualify because of illness or disability. Also, consider private donations. How do you go about improving the health care system? As I stated before, it might need a smaller change than a larger one.

Limitations of the Methodology: studies conducted in different studies
Justification of Methodology: I do not have 1st person data. The data I have found is entirely second-hand. This means that I am less concerned with the idea that what I am pursuing in this project is plagiarism.
Main Body:
History
Historically, governments in most low- and middle-income countries established a national health service, wherein a government department, typically a health ministry at the national or sub-national level, allocated general revenue through line-item budgets to cover staff salaries, medicines and operating costs for a network of government-owned health facilities. Some governments also had parallel risk pooling arrangements, including social health insurance for formal sector workers, and many governments eventually introduced user fees in public facilities to mobilize more financing for the health sector.7

Three types of economies include command economy, market economy and mixed economy, and within each type, there are three main branches of economics Types of Economic Systems | SNHU:
The Status Quo (a mixed economy)
A mixed economic system is one that combines aspects of both capitalism (i.e. market-based) and socialism (command-based). A mixed economic system accepts private property and permits economic freedom in the use of capital, but also allows for governments to interfere in economic activities in order to achieve social aims. Most countries in the world have mixed economic systems.
Advantages and Disadvantages of a Mixed Economy
A mixed economy combines several of the desirable qualities of both capitalist and socialist economic systems. The capitalist principles of free enterprise, market-based prices, and private property create incentives for innovation and efficiency, while elements of a welfare state and price controls guarantee a minimum standard of living.
However, social welfare programs can create a high tax burden and distort the market. Price controls, such as minimum wage laws, can have the unintended effects of reducing employment, according to the Philips curve. Other interventions, such as housing guarantees or free healthcare, can sometimes result in shortages because pricing does not reflect availability.
A mixed economy also allows the government to set its strategic priorities through selective interventions in the economy. For example, the United States gives favorable tax treatments to certain agricultural and manufacturing industries, because they are considered crucial for the country's long-term economic health.
Mixed economies can also result in less competition or regulatory capture, as private interests lobby for favorable regulations and tax treatment. This can have the perverse effect of regulations being determined by industries rather than policymakers.
Pros
Increased efficiency and productivity due to market-based incentives.
Welfare protections for the poorest members of the population.
Allows the government to set strategic priorities through economic policy.
Cons
Does not avoid the market-distorting effects of government intervention.
May succumb to regulatory capture as business interests campaign for favorable regulations.
Higher taxes to pay for welfare state policies.
Mixed Economic System: Characteristics, Examples, Pros & Cons
Command Economy – A command economy is an economy in which the government controls all economic activity and transactions. A country with a communist government is an example of a command economy.

Advantages of a Command Economy
Centralized Planning: One of the primary advantages of a command economy is centralized planning. Government authorities can set clear goals, allocate resources strategically, and coordinate economic activities to achieve specific objectives. This can lead to efficient allocation of resources for critical sectors such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
Income Equality: Command economies often prioritize income equality by implementing policies that aim to reduce wealth disparities. Through progressive taxation and social welfare programs, they can provide basic necessities to all citizens, ensuring a certain level of economic equality.
Stability and Predictability: Government control can lead to economic stability and predictability. Prices, production, and wages are typically regulated, reducing the likelihood of market fluctuations and economic crises.
Disadvantages of a Command Economy
Lack of Incentives: In command economies, where the government owns or controls most industries, there can be a lack of incentives for innovation, efficiency, and entrepreneurship. Without competition, there may be little motivation to improve products or services.
Resource Misallocation: Centralized planning can result in resource misallocation, as decisions are made by government authorities rather than responding to market demand. This can lead to overproduction of certain goods and shortages of others.
Bureaucracy and Inefficiency: Command economies often involve extensive bureaucracy, which can hinder decision-making and lead to inefficiencies. Long approval processes and red tape can slow down economic activities.
Command Economy: What It Is, Pros and Cons, Examples - Harbourfront Technologies
Market Economy – A market economy is free of all government control. “The economic outcomes are determined by the market forces and the so called ‘invisible hand,’ to use a term coined by philosopher Adam Smith,” Yates said. The invisible hand is a metaphor commonly-used among economists to describe how market forces work together

What Are the Pros of a Market Economy?
1. It provides a society with the right goods or services at the right time (catastrophic health care) Because competition works with supply and demand in a market economy, businesses and individuals receive access to the exact goods or services that they need. Although the quality of these goods may vary based on who manufacturers them, different socioeconomic classes can access specific goods within their price range that they wish to own. This eliminates the ability to have a central authority dictate who should receive access to specific goods and at what price.
2. A market economy promotes entrepreneurship. Because the emphasis within a market economy is on innovation, it creates an environment where entrepreneurship can thrive. It supports the process of discovering new products or services that will be wanted, while allowing individuals and businesses to decide which products or services will best meet their needs. It is a structure that provides profits for businesses of any size while creating satisfied customers at the same time.
3. It creates competition. A market economy thrives because businesses are forced to continually innovate to survive. Businesses that refuse to innovate will be left behind because there will always be someone willing to look at things in a different way. This motivation is the foundation of a market economy because it must be there to encourage better products and services to be offered over time.
4. It reduces the need to store products. Because the laws of supply and demand are enforced in a market economy, manufacturers produce goods based on the demands that the society requires. This reduces the need to store surplus products because anything that is extra will be sold at a deeply discounted price or simply destroyed. The goal is to find a balance between society’s demands and the number of goods that are produced.
5. Market economies tend to provide more jobs. Small businesses in the US economy represent 99.7% of all businesses. Businesses with fewer than 20 employees in the United States account for 89.6% of the workforce. With a market economy, the focus on innovation allows these small businesses to find a niche and provide local jobs that can pay well. Although larger companies may outsource jobs to save money, local jobs come from individuals and partnerships that exploit a good idea they may have.
6. Prices are usually kept down in a market economy. Because competition is present within an industry, prices tend to stay lower because businesses are attempting to obtain as many customers as possible. It is this element that is a core philosophy in the Republican health care proposals that circulated in 2017. By introducing competition in the insurance markets across state lines, the goal is to drop policy pricing for many consumers.
What Are the Cons of a Market Economy?
1. Market economies tend to produce inferior goods and services. The goal of a market economy is to find balance between cost and profit. Businesses will minimize costs and maximize profits. That usually means skilled workers who demand high wages will be replaced by low or average-skill workers who can still produce a reasonably good product, but at a cheaper price. That means a market economy rarely provides the best possible goods and services that could be produced.
2. It harms the environment. A market economy places an emphasis on the cost of good produced over any other factor. That means there are fewer environmental concerns that are addressed during the production of goods. When it costs less to dump waste in nature than it does to properly dispose of it, the lack of governmental interference or a central authority would allow such an action to occur.
3. Outsourcing is frequent in a market economy. Because the goal is to produce the highest quality goods at the lowest possible prices, many companies outsource jobs and manufacturing to foreign providers. Outside of the developed world, wages are much lower. Most of humanity lives on less than USD $10 per day. If a local worker needs $10 per hour for their needs and a worker elsewhere will work for $10 per day, outsourcing allows a business to create better profits.
4. Commodity prices typically rise in a market economy. Commodities are primary agricultural products or raw materials that are bought or sold. Coffee is a commodity, as is copper. In a market economy, these are the items that are essential to the manufacturing process. Without them, a business cannot create goods or services for sale. Because supply and demand applies, and most businesses need commodities to function, the pricing of these goods is higher and that increase gets put into the final consume price tag.
5. Economy imbalances occur frequently within a market economy. The Great Recession in 2007-2009 occurred because of a lack of regulation in several sectors, including housing, around the world. Similar recessions have occurred throughout history because a market economy eventually creates an imbalance. When more businesses attempt to maximize profits without regard to risk, eventually a negative event occurs and the consumers tend to be the hardest hit by the fallout.
The pros and cons of a market economy show that the forces between businesses and consumers can be beneficial, even if there are minimal controls or regulations in place to dictate that relationship. Although there is a risk for harm to workers and the environment, similar risks exist in other economy forms as well. With the emphasis on innovation and the chance for entrepreneurs to thrive, the positives of a market economy are often seen as outweighing the negatives.

11 Pros and Cons of a Market Economy – Vittana.org
Develop Arguments: Support your thesis with evidence, examples, and analysis.
Conclusion:
Summarize Main Points:
To improve the healthcare system, focus on preventive care, patient engagement, data analysis, telehealth, and addressing social determinants of health.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of strategies:
1. Emphasize Preventive Care (which involves catastrophic healthcare):
Focus on wellness and disease prevention:
Shift the focus from treating illnesses to preventing them through initiatives like vaccination campaigns, healthy lifestyle promotion, and early detection programs.
Promote early intervention:
Identify and address health risks early on to prevent chronic diseases and improve overall health outcomes.
2. Engage Patients and Empower Them (could include catastrophic and chronic healthcare issues and/or problems):
Promote patient education:
Equip patients with the knowledge and skills to manage their health conditions effectively.
Encourage active participation:
Involve patients in their care decisions and encourage them to take an active role in their health journey.
Gather patient feedback:
Implement structured feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement and ensure patient satisfaction.
3. Leverage Technology and Data (could involve catastrophic and chronic healthcare issues and/or problems):
Implement electronic health records (EHRs):
Centralize and streamline patient information for better access and coordination of care.
Utilize telehealth:
Expand access to healthcare services through remote consultations, monitoring, and treatment options.
Analyze data to improve efficiency and outcomes:
Use data analytics to identify trends, optimize resource allocation, and improve healthcare processes.
Develop digital health platforms:
Use technology to empower patients and healthcare providers with tools for better communication, monitoring, and care coordination.
4. Address Social Determinants of Health (involves catastrophic and chronic healthcare issues and/or problems):
Recognize and address the factors that influence health:
Consider socioeconomic status, access to education, housing, and transportation, as these factors significantly impact health outcomes.
Develop programs to address these issues:
Partner with community organizations to address social needs and improve access to resources.
5. Improve Care Coordination (catastrophic and chronic healthcare issues and/or problems):
Implement care coordination strategies:
Ensure seamless transitions of care between different healthcare settings and providers.
Focus on chronic care management:
Provide comprehensive and coordinated care for individuals with chronic conditions to improve outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
6. Decentralize Public Health Services (involves catastrophic and chronic healthcare):
Empower local health authorities:
Decentralization can lead to more efficient and responsive healthcare systems that are tailored to local needs.
Promote collaboration between different levels of government:
Effective healthcare systems require strong collaboration between federal, state, and local agencies.
7. Invest in Innovation (catastrophic and chronic healthcare issues and/or problems):
Support research and development: Invest in medical device and pharmaceutical innovation to develop new treatments and technologies that can improve healthcare outcomes.
Encourage collaboration between researchers, healthcare providers, and industry: Foster a culture of innovation to drive advancements in healthcare.
Discuss Significance: Explain the importance of your research and its implications.
Across the globe, there are different systems that work to provide adequate health care. Of course, this can be kind of confusing because of how much people in the political system say that the system is more market-based and/or command economics systems. Most of them have mixed economic systems and not market-based and/or command economic systems. It can be paid for with the help of private donors and/or not-for-profits organizations (usually provided by philanthropic organizations) or government programs.
Here are ten major philanthropic organizations that fund health projects:
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
Rockeffeler Foundatin
Ford Foundation
Open Society Foundations
Healthcare Focus
Funding Priorities
Advocacy and Policy Change
Wellcome Trust
MacArthur Foundation
Bloomberg Philanthropies
10 Major Philanthropic Foundations That Fund Health Projects - fundsforNGOs
The importance of this research is that there could be more effective, more efficient, and would provide more equity to help people to get the health care they need. This is necessary, even if most of the health care system is already a mixed economic system.
Offer Final Thoughts: End with a concluding statement or suggestion for future research.
There is always the question of, can things be done better! And, as much as things have gotten better, there is still the chance that things could get even better! That is what I addressed in my conclusion, when describing how the different systems would work and how effectively and efficiently, and equitably the mixed economic system already is!

transcript for 'I Work in A PRISON For Monsters. I Interviewed The Most Dangerous One.'
from Lighthouse Horror on Youtube 00:00-2:02
I can't tell you exactly where but in the middle of no where in the south western united states theres a super max prison that i'll call asher state penitentiary, or asp for short, that's not its real name but it'll do. Now, as with most maximum security prisons there are some genuinely sick people there, murderers, psychopaths, rapists, you know the kinds of people who can probably never be allowed back into society. A lot of people claim that it simply isnt possible to escape from this prison, and maybe they're right, i really hope that they are, not because i;m afraid of the sickos they've in the cells, i mean i am, of course i am. but even the most disturbed serial killing necrophiliacs they've got in there, don't scare me as much as what they've got in their basement. I don't think most of the regular staff is fully aware of the prisons other inmates. ive heard rumors that some of the guards are aware that something is up, but they either don't care or they know better than to ask questions. I imagine they probably think its some government lab or something running experiments that may or may not be entirely ethical on convicted felons, some people would say that might arguably be preferable to the truth. they have your standard security procedures of course, for starters inmates aren't allowed to have any contact with each other, some of them are not permitted to leave their cells and those that are only do so under heavy guard. there are no common areas, there's no guard, and every inch of the place is under heavy surveillance. the whole basement complex is surrounded by twenty feet of reinforced concrete and runs deep beneath the prison itself, digging your way out simply isn't an option.

AYITL 2 is never happening won, of course.
There is zero evidence for any of these theories (other than Milo and Jared going overboard on their bromance a while back, of course). In the first few years after AYITL, this fandom was poised for an imminent revival and did not give a shit that most of the cast had moved on and no one other than Lauren and Matt wanted to return (and Matt gave up on that after he booked The Resident, it seems). They wanted it to happen, so they convinced themselves that everyone was going to drop what they were doing and film a revival ASAP. In the grand scheme of things, filming a revival while working on other projects isn't that ridiculous, but....no, it was not secretly being filmed during the pandemic. I think with the L/L fandom pretty much dying and the whole podcast culture that desire has gone away.
Most of these rumors focus on Milo and the Literati replay of Luke and Lorelai's love story (Jess being a father figure to Rory's child because he's now in a position to support her). There's a lot of projection onto Milo here, who....did not support returning for this reason and said in multiple interviews that he thought Jess and Rory should move on. I don't think he's that hung up on whatever went down with Alexis or made ASP promise anything in exchange for his return, I just think he's over that whole period of his life and wasn't looking to turn it into a full-time gig. If he had known he was going to be answering baby daddy questions for the next four years, I'm pretty sure he would have told ASP no.
Anyway, what's over is over, but I do miss AYITL era fandom as it happened. I feel like AYITL era Jess, who I loved so much and is written and played as the ideal man on purpose, is needlessly dissected and constantly probed these days to come up with reasons why he's unworthy and every positive thing about him as held up as a reason why he's weak and unstable and immature. I have to remind myself that it's fanon and that it's not real and just because other people are anxious to see flaws in his behavior that it doesn't mean he's the person they want him to be. AYITL Jess is a great man and he deserves to be loved for who he was. I think that most people do and I try not to be bothered by the other stuff.

Note
Boldness is outrageous !///
I misread the bolded as “if this sighting story is true” 😂 me and my piss poor eyesight. Sorry. 😅 I see I might need to ask Chris where he got his glasses because I can’t see either.
Ah ok. That's alright. We all have those moments.
