GUYYYYYYSSS the crew boys on the titanic (ep 43) are carl and stud stampler ‼️‼️REAL NOT FAKE ‼️‼️

proof:

-the titanic was heading to new york city, where stud lived before moving to san dimas to take care of willy

-the older of the two is drinking whiskey while they play soccer, carl (stud’s older brother/willy’s dad) died pre-atmod, implied to be a result of alcoholism

-the younger doesn’t talk BUT the older has a strong irish accent, if they are carl and stud it would explain why stud’s “1920s new york” accent is so heavy in atmod, because that accent came from the influx of irish immigrants in new york at the time

-there were around 160 irish passengers on the titanic (54 survivors), most of which were 3rd class passengers, likely immigrating to america to get away from the intense political tension taking place in ireland at time

-it would add to the inter-generational stampler family soccer talent! carl being able to kick around an iceberg chunk as a soccer ball, terry jr being the “star striker” of the doodlers, and scary being “one of the best” players on the teen high team

-it would add to the inter-generational stampler family boat trauma/death

-the timeline aligns really well! assuming carl is in his late teens/early 20s during the voyage (1912), then has willy a few years into his life in america (let’s say 1915-1920ish). willy is 8 (if i’m remembering right) during atmod, which takes place in the 1930s.

I know Dood is played as being rather young mentally/emotionally in comparison to the Teens, with them being very curious and impressionable. But part of me really likes the idea that they're holding back a little and in the back of their mind they're like " I can't fucking let these guys know I ate their great grandparents. And if they find out about the NeverWinter Incident I'm FUCKED."

Ron stood in front the old mirror in the attic any chance he could growing up. He'd stare at his reflection curiously, move his hands to and fro, maybe even do a spin if he was home alone! The words engraved on the frame read 'Stud' and he wasn't sure what that meant at first. But from the tv shows his mom always had on while she rested...stud was something good. He wanted to be something good too.

---- Sometimes I think about how Ron never got to meet his great-uncle/granddad. I think about all the relatives I never got to meet too. At least there's items left behind to keep us company? I wonder if he gave an adult TJ the mirror as a present one year. ----- Maybe sometimes--since his stepdad is missing and can't do it himself-- Terry stands in front that mirror and takes on the role. Tries really hard to do an accurate rendition of fond memories (or frustrating ones). Its not the same as having him there but its something...

If only he could ask if it was something good? 'Nah, he'd probably give me a blunt word or two first. Might even do a demonstration to help me get it right...that dork.' He'd laugh a little to himself whenever he thought about Ron's various possible reactions. Rubbed his teary eyes with his sleeves or handkerchief a lot too.

'Ugh, this is so stupid.' Terry would think to himself after calming down. But he kept coming back to the mirror once a month anyway. Kept hoping that one day his stepdad would walk back into his life like he'd never left to go on that fishing trip at all. DUNGEONS AND DADDIES S2 EP 36 SPOILERS!!! (as well as at the mountains of dadness)

(also cw for character death, unreality, light gore, general angst, brief hospice/parental death mention, and canon-typical aspects of horror)

(wrote a cute little thing for terry that was initially for a roleplay server, but i thought i’d post it as it ended up not quite fitting into the plot. it then got quickly out of hand as I decided to make a “few small edits.” part 1(????) of ?????)

Terry’s head splits open, splattering itself across the cracked concrete. Terry’s heart splits open, pouring a life of love and hurt and loss out into the air. Terry’s soul splits open, pulled out from inside itself, left out for all to watch fade away.

Terry’s mind splits open, and for a second, he stares past the curtain. It’s not dark on the other side, as much as it is absent of light. There is no one there but him, and as he stares out into the endless abyss, he feels suffocated under it’s cramped, crushing weight.

He sucks in a breath, taking the emptiness into his lungs, and whispers a single word- It carries all the power vested in him by a mother who loved him more than anything else in the world, and a stepfather who never stopped trying, no matter what.

“Please,” he implores, hushed.

There is no response, as there is nobody there to listen. He waits and stagnates, not-quite-standing with no ground to touch down on but not quite floating, either, with nothing to hold him up. He’s not sure for how long, or for what, but he waits.

…And then, there is creation. It’s in a fashion not dissimilar to how it happened 13.8 billion years ago, in the sense that anything appearing with such spontaneity out of a bunch of unbridled potential energy and gobbledygook would not be dissimilar to the Big Bang. It’s on a much smaller scale this time, for Terry’s sake, at least.

Terry looks down at the smooth finished wood now resting under his fingertips, and then out the window at the blackness and entropy that’s all blurring together outside of the passenger car he now found himself inside. The vintage-looking leather booth is plush and soft, and he feels a little bad for leaking blood and bits of brain across it’s backrest. He almost doesn’t notice the scrawny-looking man sitting across from him, timidly tapping his index fingers together.

“Hey,” he smiles sadly, in a way that makes his patchy mustache look just a little bit more ridiculous. He moves to fix his vintage-looking bowtie, presumably just to have something else to do with his hands.

“H-Hey,” Terry says back. He’s half inclined to apologize for taking so long to realize someone else was there, before he remembers how he just died and decides he deserves a little social awkwardness. “What’s… What?” He asks, not quite feeling all there.

“…I think it’s time we finally spoke, Terry.” The man reaches across the table once he’s done flipping his collar back down, taking Terry’s hands in his own. His skin is cold. “I’m sorry it’s taken this long. I know the circumstances are… strange, but I do hope you understand. It would have been a little hard for you to withstand, had you still been alive ‘n all.” His eyes are gentle, and he’s giving Terry the same look the hospice nurse had right before he told him his father had died. The silence from outside is deafening. Terry thinks it might just kill him over again.

“I’m the Doodler, you see.” the man says, voice heavy with the weight of every single regret Terry had ever had in his life.

No, No, cause if they went back to the Titanic, which sunk in 1912, and ATMOD takes place in 1939, then there's a VERY good chance that Hildy, Meryl, Stud, and Robert were alive when Grant and Marco were on the Titanic and if they had just stuck around a little longer they could've prevented SO MANY THINGS FROM HAPPENING-

ron is canon, so i don’t need to back myself up.

stud (slight spoilers but not really for atmod): has been tap dancing since he was little, and canonically “is huge and very hot”. so. yeah. he also builds-

terry: canonically a very strong kicker. he also plays soccer.

scary: ex-soccer player.

the soccer stuff might just be projecting but i also think im just right
