I understand Liesl is defending her family, but she comes off as hypocritical considering her history. In fact, I would say she is worse she made Anna believe Robin was dead. Carly is wrong and needed a call out but Liesl is the wrong person to do it IMHO

That is true. Carly has done this exact action multiple times, but from what I understand, it wasn't ever as severe as what Liesl did to Anna & Robin. Someone who didn't engage in lying/hiding children would've been better to drag Carly. I like Liesl a lot with how she's currently being written, but she has a very sordid history.
