Free Kindle Edition "Handbook for the Anti-Islamic Resistance" Available May 9-13
Free Kindle edition of "Handbook for the Anti-Islamic Resistance" available from May 9th through May 13th.
At the risk of violating one of Sun Tzu's fundamentals, to wit, "never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake," I thought it might be a good time to once again ask parents of college age children to first determine if the college of choice has either an Islamic Studies department and/or a chapter of the Muslim Students Association.  If so, unless parents want their children exposed to Islamist propaganda (Dawah), they need to seek an alternative, and even better, let the rejected college know why.
The pro Hamas demonstrations have turned into hostile homeless encampments on the grounds of the most prestigious of "higher learning" in the land and have clearly gone too far, triggering an increasingly strong reaction everywhere but the White House.  That the protests are being led by Islamists has also become apparent.  In addition to the "From the River to the Sea," signs and chants there are signs saying "Glory to Our Martyrs," and at the Auraria campus encampment in Denver one of the scheduled daily activities is a "Dawa Rally."  At least half of the protesters are non-students, most likely emanating from local mosques, 80% of which adhere to the violent Wahabbist theology, according to law enforcement sources.

THE Dr. Angela Davis speaking at the student encampment on Auraria campus in Denver this weekend.
"I want you to know how important it is that you are taking this stand and this moment," Davis said, addressing the protesters. "I want to emphasize what this means for history. As you imagine this period being narrated 10 years, 20 years, 50 years from now, you will be the historical actors who made it possible for a breakthrough for the struggle against Zionism and the struggle for a free Palestine."
Civil rights icon Angela Davis speaks at Auraria campus in Denver after 40 protestors arrested
Please take the time to donate to the Colorado Palestine Coalition and the encampment here if you can!

From the Jewish Voice for Peace Boulder/Denver Chapter newsletter:
"For over six months, tens of thousands of Jews, and countless other people of conscience, have fought to end the Israeli government's genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
As our movement continues to grow, student antiwar protesters set up an encampment at the Auraria Campus, home to the University of Colorado Denver, Metro State University, and Community College of Denver. Denver Students for a Democratic Society initiated the encampment Thursday, and the protest quickly gained momentum.
The Denver/Boulder chapter of JVP showed strong support, standing in unwavering solidarity with the students and activists at Tivoli Quad on the Auraria Campus, beginning Thursday night and continuing through the weekend.
Tumblr media
Before long, students and faculty from diverse backgrounds were participating. There was significant support from the wider Denver community, demonstrating broad solidarity with our demands, including for the Biden administration to end its support for Israeli genocide.
On Friday, a day later, the Denver Police Department arrested more than 40 peaceful protesters defending the encampment. Despite this, students quickly reestablished the encampment and continued their protest.
That evening, JVP Denver/Boulder led a Shabbat service at the encampment following Jummah prayer.
Despite rain, snow and sleet, the students remained at the encampment, organizing further speakers and rallies on Saturday.
These events were attended by local political leaders, university professors, and representatives from community groups, including JVP.
Dr. Angela Davis, renowned activist and scholar, visited the encampment. Her inspiring presence lent significant historical and moral weight to the students' efforts.
Tumblr media
Dr. Davis gave a moving speech linking the encampment to a long history of civil rights and student activism, describing it as a pivotal moment in contemporary social movements and something she hadn’t seen since the student movements to end the Vietnam War.
Now, the encampment continues, with students and supporters remaining until all their demands are met."

#2: Dr. Angela Davis stands at a microphone, hand to her chest. She is in front of a Palestinian flag, wearing a yellow-brosn keffiyeh. On the left side of the image, three protesters wearing keffiyeh scarves and a fourth mostly obscured protester listen to Dr. Davis' words. They all stand beneath tarps or tents in the rain.

Auraria stood at the edge of the ancient forest, her heart pounding with a mix of excitement and trepidation. She clutched a worn leather-bound book in her hands, filled with cryptic prophecies and mysterious symbols. The weight of her family's legacy rested upon her young shoulders, and she was determined to unlock the secrets that lay within. As she took her first step into the dense forest, the air seemed to whisper around her, carrying the echoes of forgotten voices. She knew that her aunt, Titania, had once walked these same paths, seeking answers to the mysteries of the world. Now, it was her turn to follow in those footsteps and uncover the truths hidden within the prophecies.

Imagine not being on the side with Angela Davis.
One day a lot of y’all are going to have to explain to your children and grandchildren how you stood by and defended and encouraged genocide. I mean you’ll probably lie like the racists of the 1950s/60s, but I hope your guilt keeps you up at night.

Clara Brown (c. 1800 –October, 1885) was a kind-hearted, generous woman whose determination led her on a life-long quest to be reunited with her daughter. Born in Spotsylvania County, Virginia in 1803, her earliest memory was of being sold on the auction block. She grew up in Logan County, Kentucky, married at age 18, and had four children. At age 36 her master, Ambrose Smith, d.ied and her family was sold off to settle his estate. Despite her continued enslavement, Clara Brown vowed to search for her ten-year-old daughter, Eliza Jane. For twenty years Clara worked for George Brown raising her new master’s children instead of her own.
In 1856 she was freed upon Master Brown’s d.eath allowing her, at age 53, to set out to find her daughter. Three years of searching in Kentucky, Missouri, and Kansas proved fruitless. Clara thought that perhaps Eliza Jane had joined the multitude of people that had gone to Pikes Peak hoping to find gold. Thus Clara’s search took her 700 miles west to the Colorado Territory gold fields. She had secured a job as a cook on a wagon train in exchange for the free transportation of her laundry pots. Her wagon train arrived in Cherry Creek, which was comprised of the rival twin cities of Denver and Auraria. There she set up a laundry business to serve the miners. After six months Clara left Denver and set up business in Mountain City (later Central City). Brown invested her earnings in real estate and acquired a small fortune. She became known in the community as “Aunt Clara” as she provided food, shelter, and nursing care to the townspeople.
When the Civil http://W.ar ended in 1865 Clara Brown returned east, first to Logan County, Kentucky and then, Sumner County, Tennessee in search of her daughter Eliza Jane. Brown offered her $10,000 in savings and earnings as a reward for news of her daughter. When her search proved unsuccessful Brown returned to Gilpin County, Colorado, bringing with her impoverished freed people she had befriended. In 1879, at the age of 76, Brown traveled to Kansas as an official representative of Colorado’s Governor Frederick Walker Pitkin who had offered to assist thousands of destitute “Exodusters” to relocate in Colorado. Clara Brown’s continual search for her daughter, her support for local churches and charities, and her financial assistance to young women who were educated at Oberlin College in Ohio eliminated most of her wealth.
In February 1882, however, when Brown was almost 80 years old, she received news that her daughter, Eliza Jane had been located in Iowa. In 1884 79-year-old Brown traveled to Iowa to reunite with her 56-year-old daughter. The same year Brown became the first woman member of the Colorado Pioneer Association which also provided a stipend for her lifetime of good works. Clara Brown died in Denver, Colorado in 1885. Slightly over a century later Brown was inducted into the Colorado Woman’s Hall of Fame in 1989.

another one of those days where I watch cops in riot gear arrest and brutalize my old classmates in texas and watch denver send the entire police department to intimidate the gaza solidarity encampment at the auraria campus and arrest students for protesting genocide. I don’t know how you live with yourself or sleep at night ignoring what’s happening in palestine. you have to be soulless to be a cop that’s for sure. ugh

the scene at auraria campus in denver right now is terrifying. they arrested a number of protestors and many left i assume due to fears, i saw footage of them pinning people to the ground. this is what were seeing all over the country but i just checked copalestineco instagram and they’re livestreaming maybe 20-30 people still protesting, standing in line to a crowd of cops at least twice the size of the remaining crowd, in full riot gear. i feel so sick and yet so amazed at the strength of people to stand and not be torn away by fear but fight
