*all of the brothers have just finished a family dinner with MC. The food was nice, but their human has been oddly quiet throughout the whole meal. As the finished plates are getting stacked up, they shoot each other worried glances*

Mammon: *whispers to Satan* Hey, have they being actin' kinda weird to you...?

Satan: *whispers back* So you've noticed...?

Asmo: *comes up behind Satan and joins* Did anyone upset them today? Like you, Mammon?

Mammon: Hey, it wasn't me...!

*while those three keep whispering, Beel comes over to collect MC's plate. They've been sp checked out that they've barely touched their food at all, they just keep bouncing their leg under the table*

Beel: MC? ... Are you going to finish that?

*his question makes MC snap awake briefly, turning to look at him like a deer in headlights before shaking their head*

MC: N-no! No, uh... I'm fine. Go ahead, Beel.

*they push the plate towards him before going back to staring at the table blankly. Beel eats their forgotten meal, but frowns at them between bites*

Beel: Really-mmphhg-? Are you-*gulp*-sure?

MC: *bounces their leg more rapidly, nodding* Yep. Yep. Totally fine!....

*Mammon finally steps away from Satan and Asmo and nudges Beel to the side*

Mammon: Are ya really sure? 'Cause you don't look fine...

MC: *continues to stare at the table like they're mentally screaming inside, at this point nearly vibrating at an atomic level*

MC: Yep, uhm-hm, all fine, totally good!

*Mammon's about to pull their chair back from the table, but Levi suddenly jumps in between them. For once, the timid otaku looks actually confident about something. Damn near certain in fact!*

Levi: Don't worry, I got this. Leave it to me!

Levi: *takes a seat next to MC*

Levi: MC. Is there something you're hoping to talk about right now?

*MC nearly breaks their neck with how quick they turn to face him, eyes locked on and body finally going still. Slowly... an ecstatic grin starts to brighten their face*

MC: Ohmygod,soIjuststartedthismanga,right,aboutaworldwerepeoplesometimesturnintothesemonsterscalledChoujinandthemaincharacterislike-

*MC keeps talking a mile a minute while Levi nods along happily and the other brothers look at them like they're aliens, but also seem visibly relieved...*

I just noticed Mephisto matches with Barbatos (who is matchy with Diavolo) in the anniversary outfits in his SSR memory card

These three were also the only three who had half masks in the masquerade event!!!

Asmo, ignoring them: Ohh, I see~ So, like Levi’s two modes are probably otaku and autistic?

Levi: What?!

Satan: No, there’s probably a good deal of overlap between the two, and neither of those are things that he can ever stop being - well, maybe the otaku part.

Asmo: Can’t turn off autism, though.

Mammon: Ha, bro’s got peer-reviewed autism.

On Leviathan and Neurodivergence- the BluePara Pop Quiz.

Is it just me, or was the whole BluePara pop quiz just an exploration of Levi having neurodivergence? His self-esteem and confidence is knocked badly- both he and one of his special interests/hyperfixations is insulted- and he has a shutdown, "refusing" (aka unable) to come out of his room because it's his safe space.

What hits me hardest is the fact that everyone, especially Lucifer, responds with such kindness and concern, even if he knows he's tasked with getting Levi back into school. He and Barbatos both agree that it will take some time for Levi to rebuild his confidence, and everyone chips in to suggest alternative ways for Levi to continue learning whilst also allowing him to remain in a place he considers to be safe and comforting- this was especially seen when the idea came up to try to get Levi to change how he is and just drag him out of his room in order to get him into RAD, before the conversation was immediately interjected with the firm belief that getting Levi to be someone he wasn't and mocking his worries/fears would be wrong, and that, whilst the aim of their brainstorming is to find ways to help Levi to grow in himself, they ultimately want Levi to still be the person he always is and was and wouldn't actually want it any other way. They all air their frustration about the situation, but ultimately, they also love Levi for being, well, Levi- seen when Mammon questions how his own choice to skip school when feeling down is different to Levi's, and even MC has the option to add in that Levi's case feels different (as Lucifer says, in Levi's case it's that he's obsessing over something or, as in this situation, that he's having negative overthinking spirals that just leave him paralysed with fear)

Essentially, they all just want to help understand Levi better in order to help him find ways to manage his struggles in a more positive way.

Satan even offers to tutor Levi, and many of the others show sympathy and worry for Levi, such as Beel showing extreme restraint to offer him some of his meals and also whilst Asmo took the time and patience to recreate a dinner from the BluePara anime- something everyone took time to watch and analyse in the hopes of finding something to interest Levi enough to draw him out.

So to me at at least, this pop quiz was very much a look into Levi being neurodivergent-coded, and a heartwarming look at how the family try their best to understand each other and accommodate each others' needs and wants, even if they don't all understand each other or often have scraps because of it.

Leviathan seems to have a touch of the 'tism. I mean, just think about how he acts, he's definitely autistic.

This is coming from an autistic person. He literally always wears comfy clothes, always has headphones, always stays in his room, watches the same anime over and over, takes things literally, and has awful social skills. I dunno about you but that screams autistic to me.

I figured I might as well show off both of these Levi’s I drew a while ago (one in 2023, one earlier this year) I’m still really proud of how far my rendering skills have come since I first began, even if I feel like I could do better.

Anyway, I love Levi! He’s my favourite silly lil serpent dork. Even if my friends poke fun at me for liking mr purp gurt so much… jokes on them, I have no shame 😎

going to talk abt obey me and how they are all extremely neurodivergent!!! gonna go through my thoughts on each characters who stands out to me in one way or another.

Lucifer- he has NPD. dont even try to argue with me about this. from the way he holds himself to an extremely high standard to how hes LITERALLY the avatar of pride, hes just a total narc and I love him dearly. I also consider him to be autistic. half bcuz he shows some signs half bcuz I'm autistic and love projecting onto characters. I think that the way he is so strict and finds being on time so important is extremely autistic of him. he follows a very specific routine, and if said routine is messed with, he is unapproachable for atleast the rest of the day. this is shown in likee late lesson 24 or early lesson 25 I forget. he also has issues with emotions. both showing and I think even identifying them. autistic man. ALSO ptsd. duh.

mammon: adhd. he has adhd. he doesnt have npd, HOWEVER, he totally shows symptoms. he acts like hes on top of the world but the second a minor inconvenience happens he is just. reduced to nothing. I also like the hc of him being dyslexic.

levi: AUTISM AUTISM AUTISM!!! yeah that ones obvious like extremely obvious. stg autism runs into the family or smth cuz it feels like mammon and asmo are the only allistics in that mf house. dont need to explain why Levi is autistic. its obvious. if you really need an explanation just ask. but I also think he has severe social anxiety. like to the point that he gets extremely sick at the thought of social interaction. over the years, and with lots of trial and error medication, he can sort of deal with it now. still freaks him out though.

Satan: I think he takes after his father. like. A LOT. he is so npd and so autistic. I think that he really prides himself on his smarts but like. if he were to fail/get an average mark on a test (especially if lucifer got a high mark) he would disintegrate out of pure self hatred. if lucifer is better than him in any academic topic, you can practically feel the envy and rage coming from him. lucifer understands how he feels, and always tries to help him with his npd issues, but that just upsets him tenfold. "you think that *I* need *YOUR* help??? disgusting!". he has such issues I love him so much. not much to comment on his autism. also quite obvious, especially in nightbringer.

Asmo- I KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE THINK ASMO HAS NPD AND LIKE I GET THE IDEA BUT NO. HE HAS HPD AND I WILL FIGHT TOOTH AND NAIL OVER THAT HC.

beel: autism. binge eating disorder. ptsd.

belphie: autism. BPD!!!!! B!! P!!! D!!!!!!!! I will scream it from the roof tops THAT MAN HAD BPD IDC WHAT YOU SAY!! impulsivity (especially when angry), unstable relations (mostly hc), uncontrolled anger, chronic emptiness (hc), self destructiveness, fear of abandonment. you look into the DSM-5 and there is a picture of him there. I think that. he might have PTSD too.

diavolo: autism. I dont care what anyone says I think he is an autistic woman who was just forced into masking. c-ptsd due to mainly emotional neglect.

solomon: autism. no canon reason to support this I'm just projecting. c-ptsd. he has very complicated feeling surrounding loneliness and abandonment due to his childhood.

simeon: autism. C-PTSD!!!!!!! I think that. there wasnt nessacarily anything that could generally be considered traumatizing. but a lot of things in his early days were extremely stressful for him. I think that hes always questioned the word of God just a bit. he made sure nobody ever found out, but he always had doubt within him. this has always eaten at him, as he is supposed to be an angel. Angel's do not doubt the word of their father,, so, why does he?

lucifer is not typically one for loud noises. but there is one loud noise he always enjoys. my happy squealing. he can’t help but gain a smile on his face when he sees me happy and laughing and squealing loudly. he loves to see my happy stims and hear them. it makes his day so much brighter
