Tyrone Johnson and Jubilation Lee's birthdays

PHASE 2

2015: Xavin texts Jean-Paul to thank him for bringing them their iPad and some clothes. Arthur makes a journal entry querying whether people to wonder who would play them in their biopic. Hank runs (almost literally) into Sue and gets a lot of helpful advice from someone who's been there, done that. Domino makes a journal entry about the Face with Tears of Joy emoji being the 2015 word of the year. Sharon posts to the medlab only asking for assistance with how mutations influence medical treatment. Tandy leaves a gift card with $100 for Tyrone for his birthday.

2016: Laurie thanks a mystery benefactor for a mocha. Kitty expresses her disdain for raisins. Alex and Scott enjoy a night of drinking at Harry's.

2017: Hope poses for Marie-Ange and they discuss tarot cards. Felicia texts North for some support.

2018: Gabriel posts about being a bartender no longer. Jubilee posts about her birthday. Morningstar: Warren is summoned by his father and fired from Worthington Industries; Lorna notifies X-Factor of Warren’s suspension.

2019: Artie and Clea make a trip to Chicago to rob a library to steal a spellbook with Topaz as a consulting witch.

2020: Jubilee asks if anyone else found Shogo weird. Fourteen calls Marie-Ange to confess the truth of her existence.

2021: Darcy texts Matt to ask when he'll be dragging his brother back and if she can help. Felicia and Nora have drinks, talk fashion, and plan a European trip. Darcy leaves Jubilee a scarf for her birthday. Jubilee realizes she'd forgotten her birthday and wink-wink-nudge-nudges X-Force for birthday drinks. Fourteen goes to the medlab to get a check up from Laurie.

2022: Pyotr has a surprising reunion with his sister, and Illyana gets hugs and Pop-Tarts. Nica asks about Illyana’s return on the journals. Topaz messages Marie-Ange to see if she wants her to track down Illyana.

i spent 12 hours packing up my apartment yesterday so today I get to think a little bit about wizards. as a treat

#and then um update the spreadsheet i’ve been using to track my internship applications.#and follow up with an old TA about a comics mentorship/assistant position in nyc.#and start a fresh notion for field research on which available mentorship for a SEPARATE program/organization i want to #pursue now that i have this scholarship. and buy clip studio paint. and update my linkedin. and brainstorm for a new 30pg portfolio comic.#and thank my mommy for going through so many hoops just to help me move back home. and my bwothew for helping prep a place for me to stay.#and I need to DO LAUNDRY and SELL MY FURNITURE ON FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE and text my friends and make a dentist’s appointment #and get a new job that pays $12/hr and pray to god that i can use Can Operate Boom Mic on my resume for a production gig in the city #since DC won’t be an option anymore. FUCK i didnt realize how easy getting to DC was until april. I could have been applying for work there #for years. okay. well. no use crying. learn and keep moving keep running use your brain think think think #anyway year wizards too i guess

Unfortunately all chatgpt is good for is interview/job application stuff which I think says a lot about the hiring process as a whole

#wrenfea.exe #as an actual artifical intelligence? no its horrible bc it really ISNT one #its a writing synthesizer it generates writing based on data searches and boundaries from training #thats what a neural network is its a very convoluted input-output sequence #it has no capacity to understand the meaning behind what it generates #it is simply generating the specific things that the user is looking for #the job interview process has become so robotic and automized that ai fits in perfectly #but employers HATE that people are turning to chatgpt for cover letters and interview answers #so it was fair for them to use filtering programs to accept/deny applications before it got in front of an actual human being #and its ok for them to use ai and pre-written formats to make job announcements descriptions and interview questions #but god forbid we are forced to use those exact same tools to get a humans attention so we can get a job and not starve #pushing aside the whole copyright debate on chatgpt and the environmental impact of its power usage btw #im soley analyzing how its become commonly utilized on both sides #by interviewer and interviewed #the mechanization of the whole process is now on both sides #it just seems very inhuman..#its also how some people have figured out how to somehow become employed multiple times by the same company due to lack of human oversight #and how automated theyve made their hiring process #probably should have made these tags into a separate reblog oops #also disclaimer do not cut and paste right into your application materials bc chatgpt often just lies #also many places now can tell you used chatgpt due to how similar its answers are #i only use it to make a template and see how things can be phrased to be more professional and buzzwordy #id never use it for something actually creative #and dear god do not write academic essays with it #i tried using it to supplement my own cover letter template but it was too robotic even for a cover letter #it is very good at accessing and summarizing publically available information #thats all it does not make sure the information is true or good

#liveblogging life #seriously been talking myself thru the pros/cons ALL WEEK bc it's seriously like 100/150 out of what i wanted to pay #but it's too lovely and i keep comparing it to every other apt i've seen or want to see and coming up wanting #i'm still going to go to my showings tomorrow (today?) bc who knows maybe i'll fall in love w/ something there and decide against it #or maybe i'll get rejected lol i know my credit is still very iffy despite my good rental history and income #idk i just wanted to not waffle about it anymore so i just went ahead and did it!!! which is good bc the other two available units #were snatched up right before i submitted my application lmao #it IS a basement apt so i kind of get why it was literally the last one available #still bitter the two i was very excited about got snatched the day i went in for my showing bc they were 100 cheaper #and i wouldve applied SAME DAY if they'd been available lmao

2015: Lorna texts Sue about going shopping. Case File: The Triskelion Files: Warren and Adrienne go through the information provided by Sue and Arthur; Bobbi and Lorna search through suspects' apartments for any clues, Garrison and Jessica stake out the suspected leak and confirm he is the one they have been looking for. Billy introduces himself on the journals.

2016: Sooraya sends Rahne a birthday present of earrings and literature. Gabriel sends Rahne a book for her birthday.

2017: Amanda offers transportation to those interested in the March for Truth on the upcoming weekend. Topaz texts Amanda to ask when she’s taking the students back. Darcy wants to know which Harry Potter Houses people’s cats belong to.

2018: Operation: Mad Men: X-Force tracks the Sapien League to a new meeting place; Wanda and Kevin find the place and get a bug in; Gabriel and Domino double team tapping a laptop, and Domino discovers a name with possible connections to Kevin; Kevin emails Domino for tech help after seeing the info off the tap.

2019: Topaz texts Kyle to let him know she’s removed spring 2018 from her record leaving her just 3 semesters behind. Natasha wonders if anyone has any cute pictures to send after the news about the Church of Humanity coming to Salem Center.

2020:

2021: Nica makes a post about how quickly the year is going.

2022: Clan Akkaba - Operation: Ascent: Marie-Ange, Doug and Amanda try to make sense of the sigils found on the kidnapped teens.

I had an interview on Monday and it went really well, the hiring manager said she really wanted me on the team and I should hear back by Tuesday. Didn't hear back by Tuesday, so on Wednesday I called them. They said the hiring manager was off for the next two days, call back on Friday after 1pm. I call at 2:15pm, the hiring manager has gone to the bank, call back in 10-15 minutes. If she's gone when I call back in about 30 minutes I'm just going to think she's avoiding me. Why is getting a job literal torture? This is a job at McDonald's btw.

Update: I have orientation on Monday!!

#i hate! job hunting!! it feels like a sick game that only god and hiring managers are in on #ive had tremendous luck with jobs in the past. my favorite job was in a truck stop kitchen #originally i was hired at the arbys connected to it. but i hit it off so well with the kitchen manager that she asked to keep me #i was hired at that arbys on the spot. and then snatched by the kitchen bcuz i was cool #is this the universe repaying me for having that luck? i was lucky so now it needs to be balanced with shit experiences?#job hunting in Philadelphia (where i used to live) was hell too #youd think itd be easier. so many jobs available. but none of them responded to applications or followed up after interviews #and to be clear. im working on moving states soon. so even though i just got this job #soon im going to have to get another. go through all of this again #i feel like Sisyphus but my boulder is jobs. im in hell #but at least i have a job. boulder is at the top of the hill. for now

Serial paragraph-skipper in stories. i can skip entire scenes i won't like and jump neatly back in as soon as the next one begins based on vibes alone, sometimes i don't even know i'm doing it. My reading comprehension is atrocious but my enjoyment of stories has never been greater. Most people apply don't like don't read to works and series but the day i started applying it to paragraphs and sentences a whole new world of stories opened up for me.
