I drew @idolomantises Asmodeus (sorry if this ping bothers, I just have no idea how to send you fanart;;).
I also drew a Principality Angel lady who likes her too (mostly as I cannot draw heels to save my life).
Been a while since I last drew (and I'm not the best), but the design was so good, I just had to draw it. ^^

LBP headcanons because I’m feeling silly rn
- Captain Puds real name is Tom (Short for Thompson)
- Newtons middle name is ‘Plum’ referring to the ‘Plum Pudding’ model of the atom!!
- Avalons favourite science was Biology, Herbert’s Fav was Chemistry, Clive liked Physics and robotics the most!!
- Clive genuinely cares alot about the sackbots and has given them all names.
- Avalon has his own brand of conditioner.
- Popit academy is a private school, but Herb, Clive and Avalon all got in on a scholarship.
- Nana, Captain and Marlon all went to school around the same time.
- Herbert and Avalon are one or two years older than Clive but Avalon took a gap year before going to the popit academy to start up Avalonia.
- Avalon had a scene phase and pretends to have hated it.
- Larry didn’t invent the wheel, he just helped revolutionise it further — a lot like how Avalon didn’t invent science, he just learned how to mix biology and robotics as well as making other massive steps for science.
- Herb, Clive and Avalon were all in a band together. It didn’t last long but it was fun. Clive played guitar, Herb was either on bass or drums and Avalon sung. They tried to get Newton to fill in for whatever instrument Herbert wasn’t playing, but they couldn’t convince him.
- Larry had a band called ‘Principa Metalmatica’ (Metallica parody on one of the stickers). He was basically James Hetfield but newspaper in his younger days, and quit to persue science and teaching.
- Avalon was head boy, 100% attendance.
- Newton would always sleep in and he wouldn’t always wake up for class in time.
- There was a uniform for popit academy!! it was a white collared shirt, a tie with the school colours, either a jumper or a cardigan and the school blazer with black trousers. You would get badges depending on clubs and such, Avalon had wayyy too many badges on his blazer.
- I’ll draw some locker designs and how I think the gang would decorate their lockers.
That’s all for now folks!! May post some more soon :)

Redrew the first ever drawing I did of Vulture!!!She mainly tests Avalon's inventions in Avalonia. I took some liberty with his design and tweaked a bit. His old design and photos of her actual Sackperson I made in LBP2 are under the cut.

Strange World is Pretty Great, Y'all
Disney's Strange World is actually pretty great. It's not out of this world fantastic or anything, but I definitely think you shouldn't let the lack of marketing for the film to prevent you from checking it out. The theme of 'leaving a legacy' is pretty well explored, and I really like how the characters develop. That being said, I feel the pacing jumps around a lot, like all the big emotional moments just don't have the punch that they should because more time in the film is spent setting up the strange world. And I can't fault the writers for that because the world is important to how the story plays out, but I feel like both the character drama and the plot could've worked together well, and the writers just barely missed the mark.
That being said, Avalonia is beautiful, from a purely aesthetic standpoint. Drawing very clear inspiration from solarpunk, Disney's Strange World is incredibly vibrant, colorful, and wonderfully constructed. I love how, if you knew what to look for, you could figure out the twist of the movie long before it was revealed.
Of course that twist was kinda heavy-handed, all things considered. (Spoilers ahead)
I like the idea of the energy source being the problem that's harming a very real, living world, but I really feel like there should've been a tad more buildup to it being the "real" problem. It genuinely feels like a sudden whiplash of goals when the protagonist is like "yo this energy source we've been relying on is actually killing the place we live on." And also the energy source being depleted is also very abrupt, like we only see one thing happen in the story before the family is whisked away on this fantastic adventure through the inside of a large creature.
Finally, we have the fact that the main character is gay, which... doesn't really play into the story whatsoever. Everyone seems to be okay with the fact that he's gay, and his actual love interest only shows up a total of two times and gets even less lines of dialogue. On surface, I appreciate a character who is just gay, and that doesn't define them or really matter in the grand scheme of the plot, but man do I wish he got to show more genuine affection to his boyfriend, or that we really knew... anything about him at all. It's bare-bones representation, and nobody on Earth who cares about LGBTQ+ representation in media is going to be celebrating Strange World of all movies for having a gay protagonist who's boyfriend shows up for the entirety of a combined ten minutes.
(TL;DR) I still really liked Strange World, despite how oddly paced it was and how heavy-handed its themes were. The aesthetic alone is a breath of fresh air for sci-fi, which is so riddled with bleak apocalyptic and cyberpunk futures that the fact Strange World dares to imagine a bright future is honestly very refreshing. It's message is potent: we need to figure out a way to change the energy source we use, even if that means cold coffee and darker nights. But hey, that's why we're all on this planet together. To help each other out.

OOC Introduction
Hi, everyone! This is Katerina or Draco, and I'm the one who runs this account!
This is an RP blog made for my original character Hal-o-Gram, aka Hal!
My main blog is my art blog, @draconifay - where I post art of her and other things I draw.
A little info about Hal:
☆ She started off as an LBP2 OC that I made when my LittleBigPlanet hyperfixation first started. Her themes are supposed to be 80s-90s anime, city pop / future funk, y2k futurism and 90s - 2000s video games.
☆ She was created by Dr. Higginbotham, and she loves her father dearly. He didn't give her a purpose per se when she was built so that she could find her own dreams.
☆ Admittedly, she was lost for a while, unsure what to do with herself, but when she saw the dazzling lights of Avalonia, and the cool looking posters of its creator, Avalon Centrifuge, she decided she wanted to be someone people looked up to, as well. So she became a singer!
☆ This is how her hologram form was manifested - she sees her hologram as her 'real inner self' (kinda like a Persona tbh), and it's how she goes all out in concerts.
☆ Important Note ☆
I do plan on creating an original story with Hal based on many elements of the lore I've created for her in my LBP AUs, so for that reason, I'll sometimes tag my posts as either lbp-related or non lbp-related, depending on which applies!
I'll also tag ooc posts like this as ooc.
With all that out of the way, feel free to send Hal asks! She loves getting asks from people - as long as they're not inappropriate or disrespectful!

Lunar Apollon and Solar Artemis
So it is possible that Apollon had lunar aspects and Artemis had solar ones. I think this is kinda neat and I wanted to share it with y’all. Lunar Apollon Apollon has the epithet noumenios which means of the new moon.  “ Apollo who sometimes in called Noumenios, “He of the New Moon” (Works and Days 770). “ (Graff 17) This could refer to the Noumenia festival or it could refer to the new moon or both of the two. Otherwise I wanted to mention it because it is really cool. Also in the Homeric Hymn to Artemis (Hymn 9) he is mentioned as god of the silver bow. Solar Artemis
Artemis does not have a direct reference to the sun but she does have the epithet “phosphoros” which means bringer of light and her bow is mentioned as being golden.  “ [1] I sing of Artemis, whose shafts are of gold, who cheers on the hounds, the pure maiden, shooter of stags, who delights in archery, own sister to Apollo with the golden sword. Over the shadowy hills and windy peaks she draws her golden bow “ (Homeric Hymn 27 To Artemis) “[1] Muse, sing of Artemis, sister of the Far-shooter, the virgin who delights in arrows, who was fostered with Apollo. She waters her horses from Meles deep in reeds, and swiftly drives her all-golden chariot through Smyrna to vine-clad Claros where Apollo, god of the silver bow, sits waiting for the far-shooting goddess who delights in arrows. And so hail to you, Artemis, in my song and to all goddesses as well. Of you first I sing and with you I begin; now that I have begun with you, I will turn to another song.“ (Homeric Hymn 9 To Artemis) Under the tab is my works cited and all of the sources I consulted but did not quote, if you want me to send them to you, my asks are open

Hekate & Mandrake
This is an extract from the book Hekate Liminal Rites by the authors Sorita d’Este and David Rankine, published by Avalonia in 2009. Reproduced here with kind permission.
Mandrake
The presence of mandrake in Hekate’s garden in the Orphic Argonautica was not surprising. Theophrastus wrote in Enquiry into Plants in the fourth century BCE about drawing three circles around the mandrake with an iron sword before picking it, recalling the contemporary practices of necromantic and chthonic rites.
The Jewish historian Flavius Josephus wrote in the first century CE about mandrake, and was the first person to postulate the use of a dog to pull the root out. This was the origin of the idea of the dog dying from the scream of the mandrake.
“They dig all around it [the mandrake], leaving but a minute portion of the root covered; they then tie a dog to it, and the animal rushing to follow the person who tied him, easily pulls it up, but instantly dies – a vicarious victim, as it were, for him who intended to remove the plant.”[1]
The sacrifice of the dog to gain the root, (which was known as baara,) used in demon-expelling rings[2] for dealing with possession, holds clear echoes of Hekate’s powers and associations. The demon-expelling mandrake-holding ring was specifically associated with Solomon, and was described as being made of iron and brass (another copper-based alloy like bronze, and often used as an alternative name for bronze). A consequence of this connection with Hekate may have been the medieval belief that mandrake was most powerful if gathered at the crossroads.

Bad Necromance Adult Fantasy, LGBT+ Target: 100 000 words Click here for the tag!
Let's talk about magic!
The first and least important rule of magic is that everyone has it.
The second rule is that no spell can be cast without sacrifice.
To explain:
Pentacles contain runic commands in seralos, the Language of Magic. Any old sod with a stick and a bit of linguistic know-how can imbue a circle and star with the potential to divert a river, heal a broken bone, conjure a wall of flame.
Almost anything you can imagine.
But unless this pentacle is charged, it remains a pretty drawing. The more complex the spell, the more power required. All magic siphons its strength from life force: the human 'soul'.
'White' Magic devours the soul of the 'charger' - whoever supplies a drop of blood to the finished pentacle. Each spell whittles away at the charger's health, reducing their lifespan in proportion to the intricacy of their pentacle.
'Black' Magic.... is something else.
A long-forgotten discipline, this ancient art involves stealing the souls of others. It stores them in a receptacle, which is then used as a battery while spellcasting. Black Magic is stronger than White Magic, deadlier too - and far more reviled. This is the magic of Necromancers, of kaos-kin and demonspawn: monsters with no soul to call their own.
One could even say that White Magic is ‘good’ and Black Magic is ‘evil’.
...Right?
(Wrong, because capitalism happened!)
Pentacles are complex feats of draughtsmanship, and the language of magic requires years of study to master. Thus the position of 'mage' is attainable only through university education - which only the aristocracy can afford. Every young nobleman must become well-versed in the language of magic, so that he can craft any spell required to maintain his estate.
But the mage who draws the pentacle does not need to charge it.
**Flashback to Rule N# 1**
Thankfully, Avalonia has a multitude of impoverished peasants (as well as an influx of asylum seekers, fleeing the encroach of the Sands of the South). So many hale and healthy young souls! So many hungry mouths in need of feeding!
Doesn't it make sense for the soul to become monetised? For the poor to exchange their raw life force in exchange for bread? And it’s all perfectly legal, of course.
This is White Magic, after all.

Not to get into Horsebutt Discourse, but @paradise-estate had me considering an angle in my art I hadn’t thought about before.  I ran a quick sketch to work out the problems, then realized that, with as soft and mashmallowy as my style for this is, it’s not gonna be an issue unless I specifically draw a tailless horse.
Grabbed Avalonia for this, since she’s one of the only horses of this fake-gen that I have a design and personality for.

First Ever OC
Tumblr media
Ok, we're going way back with the first ever OC that I draw, even if this is an updated pic of her. This is Fey Avalonia, a Symphogear OC that I kind of never did anything with. While I do have the first beginnings of a story, I don't know if I'll ever go back to it because I have so much already on my docket.
