Pecan…. that’s a really weird word you know#like try saying it out loud a couple times. Pecan.. peCHAAANs. Pea-can. hm. hm.#anyway)#but this guy had some other really random junk lying around so I decided to take a look and I actually found something really msyerious!#there was this book with a big ‘2’ on it and I couldn’t find the other ones so I was like hey where’s the rest of these and he was like#we already sold them off and I was like WHAT that’s so crazy#like if you’re gonna sell a set of books#WHY would you sell each one separately cuz that would really suck to just like#start in the middle of a series or get hooked and never be able to continue it#and I was pretty wary anyways cuz it looked so CRYPTIC and WEIRD#but he said he’d give it to me for 92 cents and baby that’s a STEAL#couldn’t NOT take it#I mean it sat around on my desk for months and I mainly just used it as a paperweight until one night#they stopped broadcasting America’s Got Talent on my channel and out of SPITE I decided to find a way to defy American Tradition#and read a book#….what? ohhhh you though I was gonna build an inator over this#no at the time I was already working on a Tuesday Inator that would force every Calendar in the Tri-State area to always have every day#as Tuesday so I could ALWAYS have a discount on tacos! do you know how OVERPRICED those things are when they’re not on Tuesday?

the fig tree in my back yard is going bonkers rn, all the figs are ripening at once and I can only eat so many 😭 i went out to get a few and picked one that looked juuuust this side of overripe, bit into it and tasted literal alcohol. they are out here straight up Fermenting on the tree because I can’t eat figs fast enough. on the bright side the wasps are going absolutely BUGFUCK on them (which means I will have even more figs next season)

You ever suddenly remember an OC you made years ago. I just remembered an OC from the 8th grade I named Pecan
#literally the whole plot of pecan's story was that he lived a life without making any impact on the world#positive or negative#which meant he could be resurrected.#the reason most people couldn't be brought back to life in this story was because they already left their mark on te#*the world#so when a big bad figures this out and tries to summon the undead#pecan is there. a high schooler who died in a car accident.#normal average guy#he had a love interest who was another teenage boy who was a would-be union civil war soldier#who died before he could actually participate in the war#and they were busy babysitting an infant girl who ALSO got resurrected because she was a fucking baby#and also like. saving the world at the same time#there was a fourth kid too i think. a 12 y/o boy with epilepsy who drowned#anyway this is all literally coming back to me as i type this. pecan my poor forgotten boy

my roommate took me out to a fancy french bistro for dinner tonight and it was sooooo good. slightly embarrassed myself when the owner walked through the dining room and saw me chewing the last bit of meat from the bone of my lamb but i think i made up for it by chatting with him a little in french on our way out, he seemed so surprised and happy to hear someone else speaking french to him LOL
#sasha speaks#my roommate got a gift certificate to this place for graduation#and she was gonna use it with her boyfriend but. they broke up this summer#so she invited me out instead#it was sooo good. i started w a baby spinach salad w strawberries cranberries pecans ricotta salatta and vanilla (!!) dressing#and for my main i got roast rack of lamb with sauteed spinach carrot puree and fried sunchokes#and then we split a trio of creme brulees for dessert (vanilla chocolate and mango)#now i am home watching dropout and drinking tea. i am so happy#dinner was sooo good. i am so happy

Eating cinnamon glazed pecans out of spite for those assholes on reddit. I worked my ass off this week, even if my body is too busy healing to show it. At the bare minimum I walked 15 miles this week, and that's an accomplishment if nothing else. It's a great start to the long road of my weight loss, and I deserve to eat something unhealthy but yummy once in a while <3
#pecans are really healthy and cinnamon has some pretty good health benefits too#food is your friend and you can love it and yourself at the same time#your food is the sum of its parts#even if ranch dressing isnt the healthiest thing ever it has garlic and onions and herbs that you are still getting some nutrients from#and if that ranch dressing is on some baby carrots or a salad then youre still also getting all the good things from the salad or carrots#there really isnt any such thing as a 'bad food' simply foods you should enjoy in moderation because too much of a good thing can be bad#drinking water can kill you in large quantities and pure sugar can be healthy in dire situations#its all about quantity#even in 'unhealthy' snacks there are nutrients you need to keep yourself alive#you just have to also eat things that have other things you need that the unhealthy snacks dont#baph bleats
