Regarding my shop...
So the thing is, between upcoming gumroad fee increases, existing shipping cost increases, packaging cost increases, and general upheaval, I have a lot of new math I need to do and I do not have the time in my life to do it all at once very quickly.
So I am going to pull all my physical products on Dec 31st, which leaves you with three days to fill any gaps in your physical Shel Kahn collection. Digital products will stay up to tide you over.
Sorry for the short notice! Warn your friends!

(content warning: blood)
Sewed Up Heart
[ID: A Trigun comic done in grayscale with red accents. First, an anatomical heart gushes blood, forming a puddle which shifts into Vash's coat. Vash's gloved hands can be seen sewing up a tear at the hem.
Vash raises his hands, which are now bare and covered in blood. He looks sweaty and distressed, and he raises his coat to his face and cries into it. His clenched hands rip the sewed portion apart, and the red thread leads to a heart whose own stitches are tearing apart. The background gets darker and darker, and the red looks brighter and starker against it.
Then the background returns to white, and brown-skinned hands using embroidery scissors snip a red thread. Wolfwood holds up Vash's repaired coat, grinning proudly, and does a happy thumbs-up in Vash's direction. Vash lifts his head, seeming distant.
Wolfwood holds out the coat. As Vash puts out his hand to take it, the cloth is replaced so Wolfwood is dropping a sewed-up heart in Vash's hand. Vash rubs the coat against his face with a teary smile. End ID] ID CREDITS

Refuse Dystopia
I made this print for myself as a back patch - it’s a battle cry. I won’t sit still and wait for the world, for my world, to get better. I’m taking it back myself like a dandelion growing through concrete. We won’t settle for a broken world anymore!!
If you want a sick back patch for your battle jacket, consider picking one up at my store below! I also put it on a tee shirt if that’s more your speed. Hope you enjoy!

a while ago, as i was playing gale's origin, i was talking about his "i cast my first spell whilst still a babe." line with my friends @lairofsentinel, @shibepetter and @voliialpha, bouncing ideas off of each other. i also made this post about it.
when halsin asks you to share a story about you, origin gale has the possibility to answer as follows:
Gale: I cast my first spell whilst still a babe. My mother took an awful fright when I conjured up a score of rabbits in the pantry.
Halsin: Ha! Talented from the very beginning, then? Almost surprised you didn't cast magic in the womb.
now we have this new bit of information from one elminster's possible epilogue letters, revealing that gale cast fireball, a third level spell, at eight years old:
Elminster: You could have been no more than eight summers’ old, clutching your mother’s apron, eyebrows singed off by the fireball you’d unleashed into your neighbour’s rose bush. You were crying because the flowers were so beautiful, and you did mean to destroy them. How kind, how eager, how brilliant you were. And yet so naive.
adding to this gale's background reveal dialogue, where he says that he could not only "control the weave, but compose it, much like a musician or a poet", i'm more and more inclined to think that gale is a sorcerer with a wizard's education.
he would be a very rare type of sorcerer. sorcerers usually have different sources from where they draw their powers from. for gale's case, it seems to be from the weave itself.
this is just a theory of course, but i do enjoy playing around with the idea. of him chosing to study, to not simply be content with his natural gifts and talents, but improving his craft to the best of his considerable abilities.
