The Alderaanian Royal Guard gets really protective of the Coruscant Guard. Like. Really protective. At some point the people start treating the Corries better if only because they know that there is always an Alderaanian somewhere in the vicinity. Sometimes it's the Senator himself. Once or twice it was the Queen. But there is always at least one member of the Royal Guard there. Somewhere. For people who say they are pacifists, they seem really bloodthirsty.

After a while, people are starting to figure out that they might've been just supressing any murderous intents up until now, and it's better if you don't tempt them too much.

(The word got out at some point that Fox was dating the Queen and the Senator and that it was serious. The Royal Guard immediately turned on the Prince treatment. Fox bluescreened the first time one of them opened a door for him.)

Milan / Wolffe: Milan Oomen (OC), a blind stewjoni Jedi mind healer who's strong healing abilities and attunement to the force is particularly suited to heal minds. Uses a sentient, force sensitive, Stewjon-wolf Yara as a guide to lead him around. (Completely consensual, she chose to do this and Milan makes it clear she can leave at any time). Meets Commander Wolffe sometime during the war, how is the leader of the wolfpack supposed to not fall for someone who literally has a wolf as a best friend.

Bail/Breha/Fox: Bail is a short king in my stories, this is mostly due to a misprint in the Clone wars encyclopedia. Plus it's funnier this way. Most competent man in the galaxy is 5'6. Slay king. Fox has a competence kink.

Fox hummed. He had to admit that did sound nice. The terrace was beautiful and the chefs in the palace kitchens were amazing.

“You make a compelling argument,” he allowed.

Breha giggled.

“Is there caf?” she asked primly.

Smiling, Bail assured, “Of course.”

Breha nodded.

“Well, hot shot, you have yourself a deal,” she declared.

Sighing dramatically, Fox said, “I suppose if you’re both going, I can be persuaded.”

Bail held out a hand and Fox let himself be pulled up.

Summary: 

“Pardon me, Commander Fox. Might I trouble you for a moment?” It had already been a long morning and Fox just wanted to be able to go hide in the Guard offices. But he couldn’t say no to a Senator without good reason. And this particular Senator had a quiet, but well earned, reputation among Guard for being kind and always ready to offer a good cup of caf. Fox desperately could use one of those too.
