Banana Splits Christmas Headcanons, GO! Spew em’ out! Even if it’s the eve of christmas- but oh well- I’ll reblog your respose with my silly ol’ headcanons in return in the tags.

*CRACKS KNUCKLES* Here we go!

- The Splits always decorate the clubhouse a day or two after Thanksgiving (depending on how full they are)

-Fleegle, (naturally) takes the lead in decorating, deciding where and when things should be hung.

-Fleegle and Snorky make sure no corner goes undecorated! There's tinsel and garlands everywhere, bows above every window, etc.

-Snorky loves all of the lights, and will sometimes sleep in the main room of the clubhouse to watch them blink as he drifts off to sleep.

-Bingo on the other hand, loves the decorations, but Hates being the one to put them up. He just likes putting the star up on the tree and then marveling at "all his hard work".

-The caroling begins literally the second the star lights up, and doesn't stop until January.

-It's mostly Snorky, Drooper, and Fleegle that do it All Day Every Day, but if he is in the room, Bingo will often be persuaded to join in. Their harmony is amazing, since they're so used to singing/recording together!

-Fleegle likes to read The Night Before Christmas to everyone on the 24th. He sits in the armchair and they all gather 'round.

-Bingo watches The Nightmare Before Christmas every year, even though Fleegle INSISTS it's a Halloween movie only. This "fight" happens Every Year. (It's more like a silly back and forth)

-Snorky goes Full Baking Mode, and pumps out 2 dozen cookies every other day. (He knows that the gang can't resist his famous snickerdoodles and decorated sugar cookies)

- Sometimes the boys help him out with the cookie decorating and turn it into a party! (It's always a good time with the Splits around!)

-Drooper is always extra careful with his tail this time of year! He doesn't want it to be confused for a garland, or to mess up any of the decorations they worked so hard on.

-Bingo makes The Best eggnog ever! (Family recipe!) It's spiced and creamy, and it's always gone the same day he makes it. (Sometimes he adds a little bit of rum to his nog when nobody's looking!)

-Drooper loves the old school Rankin Bass Christmas specials! His favorite is the Rudolph and he likes the Burl Ives snowman.

-Snorky loves hosting ugly Christmas sweater parties! He makes his own sweater every year. :)

-Fleegle is a very practical gift giver! He will gift something he knows will be useful, that is related to the gang's interests. (Paintbrush sets, cameras, etc)

-Snorky is a sentimental gifter! He will give a picture of everyone hanging out in a really pretty frame, a scrapbook, or something else that has a lot of meaning behind it, with a very heartfelt letter of friendship.

-Bingo is a silly gift giver, and will often get gag gifts followed by an actual gift. Snakes in a fake peanut brittle can with a nice quality sweater, 6 individually wrapped copies of Space Jam with a movie that one of them actually wants to see, one soap that smells like buttered popcorn and one that smells like honey or whatever.

-Drooper is all about the music, and will gift an instrument that the other hasn't tried to play yet. (Hard to do, since they are all fabulous musicians and try new instruments all the time!)

-Snorky and Drooper are the gift wrappers. Fleegle and Bingo are just terrible at it lol. Fleegle over complicates the wrapping, and Bingo is a very messy present wrapper lol.

-Every year they leave out a plate of milk and cookies, and every year, Ogre sneaks out and eats them. The gang always thinks it's Santa.

Lampert (design by @lucid-daydreaming-art )- Autistic 🇸🇪 ja aroace (😈) funny lamp guy Robots-esque probably kinda talks like baymax honestly, I mean a bit different but yknow, the general idea

Poob - I think they are a dumb little critter. They run around and their arms flail in the wind like paper. When they try to clap is makes dog toy squeaking sounds. I don’t think they abide by the rules of physics which is why they are stupid looking ❤️ they have hammer space but it is only for weed related items. The curator of the forever weed brownie, if you will. I think they sound like X from bfb. Aroace (😈)

Pest - literally hates poob because they are small and annoying. Uhhh funky legs because I think he would have funky legs. I stole his eyes because well no real reason, but I think if he was like extra pissed you would see his eyes. Since he is like thief maxxing I do not think he would be wearing anything beyond a hoodie and sweatpants, something trying to be non-assuming I guess. He has hair I think but it is very short no way would he want to deal with that. I don’t have a voice hc for him yet. Aroace (😈)

Bive - she a freakkkkk ehhh. I think she is like freakishly tall, has funny bird legs, raggedy ass scrawny tail, and is constantly covered in hair. Her teeth are kinda just floating on her hair head, so if you punched her hard enough they would just go flying out and she would have to put them back into her head silly girl. I think she is also trans hahaahhahahahaha!!! I think she kinda sounds like ENA from dream bbq, the uhh angry side I believe. Ace (😈)

Split - I gave her dog ears because I think they are cute :) she’s probably like normal ish height Bive is just weirdly tall. She looks very nice and friendly but could probably throw a boulder at you and you will die sowyyyy. Gods most chillaxxed soldier. She gives me kind older lady feelings, even if she weren’t older. I dunno she would be like one of those people who have a comically large purse full of hard candy except it would all be banana flavored. I think she has a slower voice, HAVENT gotten an exact idea for her voice yet but she seems very calm. Ace (😈)

Pilby - I didn’t really add or change their design because I already liked it a lot. I think they are very sweet and kind looking, would make a great plush too but I guess we are not ready to talk about that (YES I am still bitter about it) I think being around them is akin to looking outside a window at an apple orchard while it’s raining a bit. I think they sound a bit like raggedy Anne, based on the creators response too. Aroace (😈)

Spud! - I honestly did not have much come to me for his design, they are just a bit of a funky feller and im not sure how I would add to it honestly. Oh but I do think that they run like an ostrich and it is very scary. Also while drawing I was debating why he had a bow and decided that Gnarpy was like CONGRATZ IN ZURVIVING THE TEZTZ and now Spud! Just has a stupid little yuor did it ribbon. Honestly no clue for voice hc… aroace (😈)

Gnarpy - had a lot of fun with xis design honestly. The redesign reminded me a lot of Stitch so I kinda just shoved that into xim. I think they act a lot like Zim. Like a lot. Probably equally as stupid. I think xis second arms are retractable, like stitch, and xe uses that as a very very shitty disguise that everyone can see right through but just don’t mention because xe seems to be having a good time. I think xe sounds like Four from BFB (the earlier episodes mostly) aroace (😈)

DRRETRO - I think that her head that we see in the game is like a projection of herself, Wagstaff Don’t Starve style. Her body would be like excruciatingly normal besides her head, too. Like go to the hospital and see a nurse, that’s just what she looks like. Very normal, it’s a bit unnerving since her head is that. She’s like those overly friendly posters in a very uncomfortable place type of feeling. She doesn’t have fur either, she’s just a weird cat doctor thing. She acts exactly like Doctor Barber from Flapjack. No voice hc, but she speaks in meows so probably just meowing. Aroace (😈)

Mark - I started thinking about tf2 and Anton blast. Anyway, he is completely made from wood other than the clothes. Beard is carved in, not sure if I got that across in the drawing though. Uh yea I don’t have much I just really like engineer. He wears flannel and a construction vest just like any good law avoiding construction worker. Definitely does not so legal things on his construction sites but does not give two shits about that and also probably would try to employ Lampert when he was younger for free workers (no im not projecting what are you talking about). How on the nose would it be to say he sounds like engineer because I just drew wooden engineer with a beard. Ace (😈)

Wallter - sorry wallter fans I had no ideas while drawing him. I dunno he’s big and he’s cement, so I kept him blocky. Urrrrr he has a can of grey stuff jingle jingle. He is the cement embodiment of that one tweet that’s like “nothing better than a glass of wine, except for maybe #men. #yep #imgay! He kinda seems like one of those lowkey scary bald gay guys who are nice but are also scary and still bald. He’s bald. No idea on voice maybe concrete sliding on asphalt for 10 hours. Ace (😈)

Random TNMN Sugarverse stuff

Basically just a TNMN AU where the neighbors r dezzert lmao. Not affiliated with the Candyland AU (Which you should check out btw) Its more based off of CRK and my hungry ass than anything else.

I might give some ideas (not set in stone btw) of what desserts or treats the neighbors are and what powers they may have.

Francis - Definitely A chocolate lava cake. It just fits him. Imagine this man unleashing a whole flood of boiling...chocolate? From out of his mouth and eyes.

Nacha - Her ass would definitely be some S'MORES ngl. She'd have that s'mores shield on standby.

Anastacha - A mixture of both parents. Her chocolate lava isn't as potent as Francis' but its there.

Angus - Purple gummy fr. Those limbs are stretchhhyyyy. And sticky.

Steven & Mclooy - Snickers ice cream bar. Bro y'all are NOT having a good time if they get those ice cream ball shooters going. (Their hands)

Arnold and Gloria - Chocolate chip brownies. The good ones. They're heat resistant to an extent.

Margarette - Banana bread. Any kind of banana, really. She's got the banana ball blaster. And the banana peels, too. She carries a stronger scent than others.

Alf and Raff - Alf has to be a cream puff. Bro is exquisite. His wife is a purple ube cake for sure. If you see a load of frosting or cream anywhere, it was them.

Albert, Robert, and Harbert (OC) - Orange sorbet. They'd definitely snatch a piece of their WEAVES and throw them in battle or store them for a snack until they become bald.

Roman and Lois - Lois is probably a red velvet something, Idk I haven't decided yet. Roman is a black macaroon or black velvet something too ngl. They love to use that hot ass cake as ammo smh.

The twins - Chocolate cinnamon roll. They'd catch and roll people up in those huge ass cinnamon rolls fr. But hey, its a delicious snack. Just eat your way out of it or something.

Izaack - Licorice. Need I say more? Bro would try to rizz someone so hard by thanking them up and bringing them over to him to flirt.

Dr W Afton and Mia - Mia is a ice cream milkshake, and Afton is a blueberry sorbet. They work together to give mfs hypothermia

Some NRC Silas hcs cause I can't stop thinking about it:

•The smallest uniform size is too big on him, he's so malnourished that most of it just hangs hangs off him, and the pants need a belt like it's a lifeline or it'll just slide off him

•His hair is in a DREADFUL state. It's dirty, knotty and greasy and full of split ends. It'll make Vil burst into tears smh/hj

•He creeps a lot of students out cause he looks like a cryptid (pale, so skinny you can see his cheekbones/ribs/etc, some inhuman features, etc), mostly lurks in the dark and stares at you with huge pupils (is it just me who finds blown pupils creepy... ok)

•Silas barely says a word. He's even less talkative than his adult self, and some people even thought he was either deaf or mute until he spoke once or twice ("Wait, you can talk???")

•He takes a really long time to write tests and do work or homework cause here he would have learned to read and write JUST before coming to NRC

•Uses a cane due to his injury and has hit many a student in the back of the head with it for trying to kick it out from under him (they end up knocked out cold)

•He ended up in so much pain he was unable to walk after his first week there cause he didn't mention his disability to anyone and he spent most of the time just pushing past the pain like he usually does (then he was given a cane fjgjgjgjg)

•He's oven worse than Morrigan in regards to obedience because to him, the only thing that matters is having food and staying alive. Stop telling him what to do, more than half of these rules are pointless

•His dorm leader has no idea what to do with him because no punishments seem to fix his behaviour

•He cannot conprehend duels. What do you mean he's not supposed to use lethal force? What do you mean we're attacking each other for grades?

•The first time Silas ever duelled with someone, he straight up stabbed himself in the palm and used the blood to start casting abyssal spells because he thinks they're more effective than "normal" magic

•Sits by himself during lunch and ignores everyone all the time

•Do not come up to him and suddenly start talking or try to scare/surpise him. His default reaction is slashing your throat open

•He sleeps a lot during the day and does most of his work at night

•His favourite subject would be astrology because he likes looking at the stars

•He's genuinely interested in learning even if it doesn't seem that way

•Silas will wander off to the beach and go swim or visit Emrys (I think Emrys would stay near Sage Island for Silas) and doesn't care if it's past curfew or if he hasn't gotten permission

I'll probably come up with some more later, idk Silas interacting with kids his own age but also in a place like NRC is so interesting to me

“I just…never did.” By the awkward way he looked off out the window, they both knew what that meant: another everyday experience John hadn’t gotten to enjoy as an assassin in training. 

They were in a much fancier restaurant than John typically frequented. If he was in a place like this, it usually meant he was in the midst of a job, and dessert was the last thing on his mind. A sundae wasn’t even on the menu. But they’d gotten to talking about favorite foods, and after hearing that, Santino wasn’t about to let it go.

He flagged down the waiter. “I’d like to make a custom order from the chef: a banana split, please.”

“Of course, Mr. D’Antonio.” The waiter didn’t dare miss a beat in front of such an important customer, even if the request was odd.

John raised an eyebrow. “I thought we were talking about an ice cream sundae.”

“A banana split is a type of ice cream sundae. The best type, and I’ll show you why.”

It wasn’t long before they had one sitting in front of them, vanilla topped with chocolate fudge and two maraschino cherries, with half a banana sticking out of each end.

“Since it’s your first time, you’d better take those cherries.” Santino’s eyes were alive with mirth. He was going to enjoy every minute of this, John realized.

“…One of them. You get the other.” He was blushing as he took the first scoop, overflowing with fudge and red syrup around the cherry.

“You want to see me do tricks that badly, John?” Santino took the cherry all by itself and puckered his lips for a moment before spitting out the stem tied in a knot. John struggled to look away from it. “Nothing to say? Have I tied your tongue that much too?”

“Shut up.” He lifted a spoon to Santino’s lips and filled his mouth with an explosion of sweetness.

“Mmmm…” Santino leaned forward, making a sound so obscene it caused John to glance around in fear that they’d be overheard.

“Somehow I think that’s even worse than talking…”

“Or better.”

“…Or better,” he admitted, locking eyes for a moment. His expression was already smoldering, just two bites into this dessert. He shifted in his seat as subtly as he could, but Santino missed nothing.

“It’s no fair for you to feed me if I don’t do the same for you. Open up, and swallow everything.” He scooped up as much fudge as possible and bit his bottom lip while raising it to John’s. There was something so sweet, so innocent, about the sight of John Wick looking up at Santino from heavily shadowed brows with his mouth full, swallowing exactly as he was told. Always so ready to please. 

As much as he’d intended to tease him, Santino suddenly felt a flash of tenderness. He thought not only of John on his knees in the bedroom, but John spoon feeding him when he’d been bedridden with bullet wounds. How John had put life right into his body and how much he wanted to repay him in kind. Their lovemaking was always like that - tinged with an undercurrent of affection. An expression of the way they had saved each other. 

John caught that look and answered it in kind, with a sound at once perverted and deeply sentimental. A hungry sort of growl of appreciation that trembled its way out of his chest. “You’re tempting me,” he said when he had devoured everything.

“What?” Santino said innocently. “You should try the banana too, that’s the whole secret of a banana split.”

Now here the explanation of their designs and their hc and how they act

Walter : Wallter's design has man boobies. And a scarf alongside 2 short pants. And heels. Walter is a transmasculine person... whenever it comes to his son lampert. He would do anything to make him proud. But when it's comes to mark..he would being rude to mark and cry's in his room knowing that he divorced him

Mannequin mark : mark design is like the og, mark knew that his son forgot who he was..which contained that mark will desperately blame wallter for the fight and all of it

Pest : pest design is a mantises design. Alongside with that. Pest sleeves are torns off and his pants are shorter than usual, pest doesn't even know anything about them and never act nice and praisable to any of the other npc's when they want to interact with pest. Wouldn't even add mercy to the person he want to kill even so people and cats, dogs alot.

Split : split's design is almost regular but she's fat and wearing a banana split t-shirt. Split is kinda chill, and would likely to flirt with bive..split legs are actually cat legs! fat cat legs..split is actually an half banana snail and half banana cat.

Bive : bive outfit a bit showing. But thankfully it's not what you think. Bive would be considered the flirtiest person in the elevator. But sometimes she gets too frisky with flirty comment's she would do..

Poob/partynoob: poob is just regular but an afro added to him. Poob is an xe/any poob is an energetic and hyperactive kind of person. But acts like a son towards Wallter or spud.

Gnarpy: xe is no regular because xis four arms cutted into 2. Because gnarpy once sneaked into mach's house then mach saw xim getting inside so she decided to cut xis arms except for the upper arm. Can I ask where the hero elfilis theory/hc comes from? I’ve seen a handful of people doing it and I’ve been out of the Kirby loop for awhile

oh !! of course !! this wound up ramblier than intended though as i kinda used this as an excuse to dump a lot of information about my own interpretation of elfilis and how they got Like That. my bad there haha.

my hero elfilis is probably really different from others though since i haven’t really taken much of a look at others’ interpretations of elfilis as a hero of yore. this is like 99% headcanon though so literally do not take any of my ramblings on elfilis as canon like at all.

as an example many believe elfilis to have parents or a greater species they belong to whereas my interp of them just kinda. is.

for the general reason as to why i think it’s been done with multiple people is because we see they use the same or at least very similar star-shaped rifts/portals that we’ve seen both magolor and the lor starcutter use previously in canon, and they both have connections to the ancients and ppl (myself included) kinda ran with that.

now the rest of this is literally just me going absolutely bananas with literally that one crumb and my own headcanons so you can ignore this if you’re uninterested in that.

okay so basically for me i believe that fecto elfilis was created by the people of shiver star for as of yet unknown reasons to even elfilis themself, but likely to aid in exterminating dark matter as it was very prevalent in the area around the time of their creation and we see them as a very capable fighter in canon.

despite their creation likely being FOR combat and them growing up (for lack of a better word) training with magic as well as their staff/spear/whatever you want to call it, elfilis never actually left the lab where they were created as they were considered incomplete. unfortunately, the lab where they were created was eventually completely shut down, and they were therefore left as incomplete even when they eventually were released.

anyways, with void termina looming on the metaphorical horizon and dark matter becoming a greater threat by the day, elfilis is sought out by ripple and galacta knight for their fighting capabilities, as rumours of somebody on shiver star fighting off dark matter on their own (which is no easy feat without at least some sort of artifact or amplifier) had spread to ripple star, and they’d hoped that this mysterious fighter would be able to aid them in handling the void termina situation.

flash forward a couple centuries following the sealing of both void termina and galacta knight, and elfilis has taken to wandering the cosmos, dealing with whatever they personally find troubling. they eventually find their way to earth about 100-200 years past where we are now. they’re disappointed, to say the least. even with so many other civilizations growing and flourishing, reaching out to other planets and everything beyond, humanity has hardly even gotten past fighting between themselves and they’ve barely reached their closest planetary neighbour. and, of course, this is troubling. sure, war happened. elfilis was well aware of that, but they saw humanity fighting among themselves for what seemed to them completely trivial reasons and felt simply disgusted.

so, they took it upon themselves to “handle” the situation. if humanity wanted to fight, they could unify and fight off a real threat rather than their own kind.

it had been a while since they’d fought anything other than dark matter, after all. they could use a challenge.

this is pretty much where the lab discovera voice picks up, as elfilis is captured and subsequently studied by humanity similarly to how the people of shiver star did both before and after elfilis’ creation. they split into elfilin and forgo a while after this, the dream discoveries tour becomes a thing, humanity leaves earth to go elsewhere, etc etc.

i do PERSONALLY believe elfilis’ morality got weirder over time, much like the rest of the heroes of yore (drawcia especially got Weird in my interp) but they always had slightly skewed priorities in terms of what they thought was good and bad.

self-indulgence below cut :) it’s gonna be super unorganized/maybe repetitive because it’s 1am and I can’t sleep

Has a pretty varied age range, it’s pretty common for him to regress to a young kid (5-9) or an older kid (10-12) or even a teenager (13-15)

But, especially when stress gets the best of him, he regresses way younger (1-4)

It’s all just based on vibes or how stressed out he is

It also depends on how bad his thoughts get, since he definitely has to be a trauma regressor to some extent (with all he’s seen in his line of work + the little that’s known about his backstory? it has to come up at some point)

He’s felt outcasted a lot during his boyhood, maybe didn’t even really have one, this is just his way of getting it back (but he was a devil child before, he isn’t changing now)

Regression is usually involuntary, and it’s pretty much always vent regression, but he makes sure he keeps it hidden and doesn’t slip unless he’s in his apartment

… BUT if anyone else knew, it might be his work partners

He’d be too embarrassed to do it voluntarily, or tell anyone about it

When he is in headspace, he keeps himself entertained with the few toys he has (that he probably “borrowed” from a co-worker with kid’s house)

This includes action figures, stuffed animals, those little green army men figures, and maybe a few baby toys he managed to swipe when his co-worker’s kids started to get too old for them

He definitely keeps himself entertained by shaking toys that rattle around when he’s in a really young headspace

He also keeps himself entertained by watching TV, he loves Hanna Barbara shows (his favorite is The Banana Splits Show)

He never buys his own gear, it’s all swiped from co-workers that are parents, or from the store (no one’s gonna miss ONE GI Joe figure, right?)

Some of his favorite figures are heroes (especially Batman), cowboys, and GI Joes, he will lay on his stomach on the floor or his bed and play with them forever

He has a soft spot for stuffed animals, especially when he’s smaller and goes to bed in headspace, he really likes bears and dogs

Enjoys hero comics in his older headspace, but he’s probably stolen all of these too

Pretty quiet in his headspace, besides making noises to himself when he’s playing or just bored while he does something else, mostly out of fear of getting caught

Would be too embarrassed to buy himself pacifiers; he settles with sucking his thumb or putting other things in his mouth when he’s small

He can probably get away with pocketing items he can chew on, like teethers or even dog toys

Is also probably a puppy regressor too and enjoys chewing on dog toys/shaking them around

Also sleeps curled up like a dog sometimes

Always wears a t-shirt and pajama pants when small, he couldn’t muster up the courage to get anything else

Has definitely swiped at least one bottle and sippy cup somewhere and uses those when he’s smaller

Unable to cry out of headspace, nearly inconsolable in it

If he WERE to have someone care for him, he’d be an absolute nightmare

He’d cause so many messes (he isn’t above drawing on walls), throw fits, act fussy, just constantly go through the terrible twos (half because he likes to cause trouble, half because his emotions get too big and he can’t handle them)

He would love the word “no”, he would love to turn away when you try to feed him, he would love to insist on staying up past his bedtime, he’d love to scream and shout and throw the world’s most theatrical tantrum, he’d be the world’s biggest brat, but he’d always cave in the end (especially if he’s tired)

He’d be no stranger to the time out corner

He’d be doing grabby hands all the time, most likely would whine while doing them

He’d love to make puppy eyes to get what he wants, and would constantly pout when he’s told no

In fact, he’d constantly pout, you’re not changing that unless you make him laugh (which is pretty easy when he’s especially small, he’s easily entertained)

Would hate to admit it, but he’d be very clingy and needy too

Would let whoever cares for him spoil him and do everything for him, he really does want it deep down, he just refuses to admit it out of fear of being ostracized

He really needs to just cry into someone’s arms and meekly call them whatever title he gave them

Speaking of, what he would use would depend on how old he is (dada/mama for when he’s real small, daddy/mommy when he’s slightly older but still small, dad/mom when he’s a bit older)

He definitely spends a little too long looking at toy aisles or displays, but always shakes it off and walks away since he doesn’t want anyone asking questions

He’d love to play pretend with someone else, especially Army or Cowboys

Would still have a fascination with weaponry in his headspace, he would love a toy gun he can fiddle with

Would immediately slip if called names like good boy, buddy, cowboy, little one, etc

Same with having his hair ruffled, laying against someone’s chest, or being read to

Definitely does break down and cry when he’s overwhelmed in headspace

Also has to constantly be moving when he’s in his young kid headspace

When he’s in his older kid/teen headspace, he’s just a stereotypical moody teenager

Like, constantly rolls his eyes, groans a lot, loves the word “whatever”

Keeps himself occupied by watching movies on TV in this headspace, the more violent or raunchy, the better

He would just love to be total trouble, but only if someone was with him

For now, he’s either an angel, or has little fits that can’t be heard by anyone in his apartment

If he’s sick, he’s regressed the entire time, and especially moody because there’s no one there to take care of him

Patience is a requirement to deal with him, but once he goes through his bratty phases, he’s a sweetheart (but he would leave the city if you ever told anyone)
