the hellenistic period!! hellenistic goes from 323 BCE, when alexander the great died, up till 30 BCE. hellenistic means "greek-like", so still ancient greece but a divergence from Classical Greece. theres a TON of money in trade and rise in knowledge. and art starts focusing on realism and dramatics. no more idealization of the human form, its more natural, but a focus on shapes and diagonals and story telling for DRAMA!!!
(Agesander, Athendore, and Polydore's Laocoon and His Sons + Gallic Chieftain Killing Himself and His Wife which is likelyyyy by Epigonos)
