adulterous rhaenyra does make me giggle bc you know if alicent ever went outside their marriage rhaenyra & the affair partner would end up on the 6 o clock news <3 delightful little hypocrite
it's almost as though rhaenyra is canonically a character who fundamentally believes that as a result of her birth, blood, rank and station that the rules governing everyone else do not apply to her because she as The Chosen One™️ (literally, figuratively, spiritually) is a creator, and not a creature, of law
#rhaenyra feeling yoked and bound by duty - but entirely untouched by “rules” - is such an excellent commentary on monarchy in general#as duty is--of course--self imposed; read: voluntary#as aegon's behaviour demonstrates: nobody but rhaenyra is enforcing rhaenyra's loyalty to her father's legacy#as demonstrated even in the british monarchy#there are those who choose to assign (and then respect) some otherworldly meaning and import to the mantle (george vi)#and there are those to whom it is simply and nakedly a banal class privilege (edward viii)#fitting to see emma d'arcy in antigone when that is the basic archetype of their role in HOTD as well#rhaenyra is also - much like long fucking speech queen antigone - a person who seeks and craves attention from people she loves#and not just in a functional way#rhaenicent fanfic

Tuvok & Seven of Nine should have been overbearing co-parents to the borg children
#non romantic co-parents and they won't even admit they're friends (they don't have* friends! they don't need friends!)#star trek voyager#they are organizing a joint schedule they have a shared space google doc#Seven of Nine#Tuvok#They are both overbearing in different ways <3#I think Tuvok is an excellent father and also that he would not be able to parent every child effectively - especially non Vulcans#Meanwhile Seven is like 'Children are basically little employees I have to train yes?'#Chakotay: You're not going to be raising this children...alone. will you??#Seven: Of course not. / Chakotay: Thank G- / Seven: Commander Tuvok will assist me.#Chakotay: -the most forced smile ever- o h h........#*spoiler: They're very good friends#I think Tuvok would want them to be better behaved than they are but know that children are unpredictable to a degree and they've#been through a lot meanwhile Seven really has no reference for what children are supposed to be do and act like#besides. Seven doesn't need to be a mother. She's like twenty something and newly independent - she should have been at the club instead of#performing femininity so she could be a ''''''real woman''''''#Stop making female characters mothers.......its enough.#None of the VOY women should have been mothers. Maybe Kes - she seemed like she maybe wanted kids. I could see Kes being a good mom#down the line (not in Elogium I liked that episode and its ending) but none of the rest of them needed#or seemed to particularly want that

Got jumpscared by my own full legal name showing up in my email notifications bc I forgot I emailed my code to myself today just in case my VM ends up stopping working again (I got nervous & didn't wanna lose my progress lol)
Goldfish level memory retention
& the funny thing is that the email itself is just. This

Full Legal Name code • hi
#speculation nation#title 'code' email is just 'hi'. with the .c file attached of course#honestly i had a very productive day in lab today. i got the core structure of the program down and made sure it all worked#testing it with One of the sorting algorithms. and it worked!!#the lab is to code functions for different kinds of sorts. like bubble sort selection sort and uhh. some other shit idr rn#and have the functions take timestamps from before and after they run the sorts to calculate the elapsed time#and we have to run this for array sizes of like. 10 50 500 etc etc up to like 50000 or smth? if i remember right.#and then once all that's done we take the output and graph the time elapsed for each type of sort/search per array sizes#so today at lab i made the random array generator function. a swap function. the execution function. bubble sort. and main.#main calls the execution function passing in the array sizes. execution(10); execution(50); etc#execution defines the array of that size. then calls the random number generator to populate the array. then passes it to the sort functions#tested with my one bubble sort function. which finished in like 0.00003 seconds or smth for array size 10#BUT taking the time stamps was tricky. there are a lot of ways to do that. and time(); in c is in full seconds#i ended up asking the TA if he had a recommendation for what to use bc theres a LOT of time functions out there#and full seconds isnt precise enough for this purpose. & he recommended clock()!!#records number of clock ticks which is NOT the same as seconds. but when u divide it by uh. forgetting it rn but it's a constant#that will turn it into actual seconds. clock tics per sec?? smth like that.#so anyways very productive 👍 i just need to set main up to call execution function for all the different array sizes#and then write all the functions for the different sorts/searches. but i have the core structure down with the bubble sort function#(specifically with the time stamps and the print function after) that i will copy-paste for all the other functions#and then inside them i put the basic code. none of it's complicated. all can be found on the internet easy.#SO!!!!! honestly i think itd take me less than an hour to finish. tho plotting out that graph is going to be annoying#something like 6 sizes per 5 sort/search functions. painstakingly copy pasting each one into excel or smth lol#but yea im content with how much ive gotten done. yippee!!!!#now i just need to finish my web programming lab before sunday night. blehhhhh

feedback on my music history papers. A on the big research paper which i am pretty happy with, A- on the final which i'm slightly miffed about but the professor's comments were mostly 1. i could have talked more about the audience (fair although i would have run into length problems) and 2. disagreement over the thematic analysis of one of the movements of the symphony which is relatively subjective anyway. he didn't say as much but i suspect if the exact same paper had been written by anyone else in the class it'd be an A or even A+, i think he holds my writing to a particularly scrutinizing standard since i have such a long history by now writing for his courses and because no one else but me is a dedicated musicology student, so i understand being held to a very high standard
#sasha speaks#i wanna talk about me#i had one particularly embarrassing sourcing oversight in the research paper but otherwise he said it was excellent#and much more convincing than he thought it would be from my original (admittedly struggling) thesis drafts#but he liked me arguments and thought i used good evidence to back them up.#and that my discussion proceeded well from the superficial points to the deeper and more philosophical#which was Entirely my goal. win!#wowee. only a theory class left and then it's comps. and then i'll have a masters. that's wild#and the theory course is required for Everyonr basically. and it's 18th cen and on!! what a breeze#unless they surprise me with something brutal which given my track record they probably will so i shouldn't get my hopes up lol

Excel/Advance Excel
Now a days, many jobs require advanced Excel skills.Formulas make Excel smart. Without them, Excel is just a data keeping tool. But by using formulas, you can crunch data, analyze it and get answers to most complex questions. While anyone can use a simple SUM or IF formula, an advanced user of it would be able to seamlessly write & combine formulas like SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT, INDEX, MATCH, LOOKUP formulas.

6 Key Hardware Components That Power Your Computer

Computers have become an essential part of our daily lives, whether for work, education, or entertainment. But have you ever wondered what makes a computer function smoothly? Understanding the core hardware components is crucial, especially if you're pursuing an Advanced Excel Course in Yamuna Vihar or an Advanced MS Excel Course in Uttam Nagar. These components form the foundation of every computer system and are vital for its performance. In this blog, we will explore the six key hardware components that power your computer and ensure it runs efficiently.
1. Central Processing Unit (CPU) – The Brain of the Computer
The Central Processing Unit (CPU) is the heart and brain of a computer, responsible for executing instructions and performing calculations.
Modern CPUs, such as Intel and AMD processors, have multiple cores for multitasking and enhanced performance.
Clock speed, measured in gigahertz (GHz), determines how quickly a CPU can process data.
A faster CPU ensures better performance for applications like MS Excel Training in Yamuna Vihar, where large datasets and calculations are common.
For students taking an Advanced Excel Training Course in Uttam Nagar, understanding how a CPU processes data can help optimize software performance for data-intensive tasks like pivot tables and formulas.
2. Random Access Memory (RAM) – The Short-Term Memory
RAM plays a vital role in ensuring smooth multitasking and quick access to frequently used applications.
RAM sizes vary from 4GB for basic systems to 64GB for high-performance machines.
Modern RAM types like DDR4 and DDR5 provide faster data transfer rates.
More RAM enhances the performance of data analysis tools, including Excel dashboards.
If you're pursuing a Basic Computer Course in Yamuna Vihar, understanding RAM can help you work more efficiently with applications like MS Office Training in Yamuna Vihar.
3. Hard Drive (HDD) or Solid-State Drive (SSD) – The Storage Hub
Your computer's storage solution determines how much data it can hold and how quickly it can access that data.
HDDs (Hard Disk Drives) are cost-effective but slower than SSDs (Solid-State Drives).
SSDs are faster, more durable, and energy-efficient, making them ideal for modern systems.
Many users opt for a combination: an SSD for faster boot times and an HDD for larger storage needs.
For students taking a Diploma in Computer Application in Yamuna Vihar, understanding the difference between storage types can help manage data effectively, especially for Advanced MS Excel Training in Yamuna Vihar projects that involve large file sizes.
4. Motherboard – The Nervous System of the Computer
The motherboard is the central circuit hub that connects all hardware components, ensuring seamless communication between them.
It contains slots for the CPU, RAM, storage, and expansion cards.
Modern motherboards often include built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and audio features.
Chipsets determine compatibility with processors and memory.
If you're enrolled in a Basic Computer Training in Uttam Nagar, understanding how the motherboard works is crucial for troubleshooting hardware issues. Students taking MS Excel Training in Uttam Nagar can also benefit from this knowledge when upgrading their systems for better performance.
5. Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) – Powering Visuals and Performance
The Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) is responsible for rendering visuals, whether it's a simple image or complex animations.
Integrated GPUs are sufficient for everyday tasks like browsing or working on Excel.
Dedicated GPUs, such as those from NVIDIA and AMD, are essential for gaming, video editing, and AI applications.
GPU performance, including VRAM capacity, impacts tasks like creating dashboards and visualizations in MS Excel Classes in Yamuna Vihar or MS Excel Training in Uttam Nagar.
For advanced data visualization projects in Advanced MS Excel Courses in Uttam Nagar, a good GPU can make all the difference.
6. Power Supply Unit (PSU) – Providing Energy to Your System
The Power Supply Unit (PSU) converts electricity from the outlet into usable power for your computer's components.
A high-quality PSU ensures stable power delivery and protects against hardware damage.
Power wattage should match the needs of your system's components.
Modular PSUs improve cable management, enhancing airflow and system cooling.
For students pursuing courses like Basic Computer Classes in Yamuna Vihar, understanding the PSU is crucial for maintaining a reliable and efficient system.
Conclusion
Understanding these six key hardware components will provide you with a strong foundation for learning more advanced computer concepts. Whether you're enrolled in an MS Office Course in Yamuna Vihar, Basic Computer Classes in Uttam Nagar, or Advanced Excel Training in Yamuna Vihar, this knowledge will enhance your ability to work with and troubleshoot computers effectively.
By mastering the basics of hardware, you'll also gain insights into optimizing your computer for better performance in data analysis, application management, and more. Invest in courses like MS Training Institute in Uttam Nagar or Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications in Yamuna Vihar to further your technical expertise and career prospects.

Me, most of my life: Why does everyone seem to make Christmas all about food like nothing else matters but the food?
Also me: *has been incredibly excited and looking forward to the food we're gonna have at Christmas this year*
#the fact that i am no longer into christianity and that we picked out some excellent meat are probably related to this shift#there's gonna be so much and it's gonna be so good#i have no clue what the english term for this is if there even is one because wikipedia is giving me nothing#but gourmetten my beloved#(basically you have a small electric stove on the table and prepare your own food)#(so there's lots of mini pieces of different types of meat and also stuff like vegetables you can grill)#and loads of bread on the side of course#it takes forever#your tablecloth will be ruined#your house will smell for at least a week#it's awesome#(we get high quality meat from the butcher too which we picked out last sunday and i have been hungry ever since)

The edible had a fucking delayed fuse and hit me while I was conjugating Spanish verbs hiiii
#man i don’t know how i made it through that textbook chapter i was UNREASONABLY confused#if you’d been watching me you’d be forgiven for thinking i’d never heard of verbs or adjectives before#in my defence they did put -ar verb conjugation; gender agreement and a fuckload of adjectives all in one chapter#i was fighting for my life#i really need a system for keeping track of the verbs i have learned and their conjugations#would a spreadsheet be overkill? i know there’ll be one of those out there but like#i’ll remember it better if i make my own#i could download a spreadsheet of 2000 spanish verbs and i’d never look at it genuinely#i’m thinking one sheet per category. -ar -ir -er and irregular. (please tell me there’s not more categories)#then just.. put the verbs. each one gets like. 6 lines? yo tu el nosotros vosotros ustedes etc#(look i know no one likes vosotros but i live next door to spain. so)#and i can add in tenses as i learn them? i guess? start from present simple and just add more columns#i know this sounds obvious but keep in mind i’m super high and don’t know excel that well#sometimes you take short course IT because your IT teacher is insufferable#and then you go straight into humanities for like 8 years of your life#and you exclusively work service jobs and teaching jobs that require the entire MS suite EXCEPT excel LOL#and you don’t make spreadsheets in your spare time because you basically live out of your notes app and a filofax#should i take an excel course. i mean there’s no reason not to#personal
