I WIN (I had a dream about Deadpool & Wolverine)

#hands and knees on the ground #I win.....#if I had a nickel for every time I had a dream about one of my hyperfixations #I'd have six nickels #which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened six times!!#2 for genshin. 3 for marble hornets. and now 1 for deadpool & wolverine #anywho the dream was kinda similar to the scene where deadpool was trying to find the best wolverine varient #but like. it wasn't the wolverine that we know and love #basically deadpool got into trouble with some other folks in this bar in the forest #and this like. cowboy lumberjack wolverine was all like “get in” and drove off with deadpool in his truck before he got got #but the funniest part about it was wolverine saying “ no. Just saw the weirdest most over-stimulating production of marriage of figaro…. I feel like the opera, the music, got lost in the set and costumes and props and background cast who were just kind of there? Doing weird things?

#they did not make up a chorus or anything #don’t get me wrong I didn’t have a bad time but I had no idea what was going on #and nor did my friend #and my other friend and her husband who know a lot about opera also felt similarly to me #i felt like Nicholas in hot fuzz when he has to watch the am dram Romeo and Juliet #it also kind of felt like those tiktoks where there is so much happening like narration and a stim video and a vid of someone playing #subway surfer and there’s too much to actually focus on #I didn’t know where to look #there were basically two stages plus the surtitles and both stages were being used at the same time #so often a soloist got kind of lost in all the background action #which is a real shame because they were all really good #but I could not tell you the plot at all or anything #there was a weird bit where some random background character strips to his boxers puts on an apron and stabs some other bg characters?#but it’s a kind of dream sequence so he doesn’t really kill them?#and then the actual characters have a bit where they bang knives randomly on bits of the set? again I am unsure what that was about #lots of strange baffling things

So i had a dream last night which wasn't a nightmare and i even remember most of it! which is super exciting. I barely ever remember dreams that are just simply that so this is a fairly rare occasion for me.

It was weird tho

But it was.. i don't even know what it was so let me ramble about it in the tags a bit

#there was this bioluminescent and also biotoxic creature in a city at night #it was bipedal sort of humanoid shaped but with definitive deep sea features #it had that transparent skin and flesh and body with bioluminescing highlights #which i have no idea how it worked because the entire dream took place in a city enviroment on very much dry land but it's a dream innit #the face was definitely not human more a jumble of fishy features #it was gorgeous btw in a humanoid monster sort of fascinating way #it had this weird feel to it that it's something very old that should not be here now.. some sort of reminiscence of a bygone era #i might try to draw it but i don't know how successful i'd be to be honest #anyway so i was part of a group (don't know what kind exactly) and i never seen any of them i just knew they existed #and there was this innate knowledge that the creature was kind of hunting or more like luring us but we also were hunting it #i don't know if it did something to us before or we just had this unexplainable pull towards it but we definitely were fixated on it #and it was supposed to be a big threat even just by existing and walking around but also would have been bad if it was dead #but i don't know why was it so bad because the “toxicity” of the creature wasn't lethal it just made you stuck in a blissful delirious stat #just by being too close to it and which in most cases would fade when it moved away so the other alternative felt way worse #cuz if it would die something else would have gotten loose which would have been worse than the delirium #it was some sort of unstoppable deadly madness i think.. at least that was what i felt the dream eluded to #and i think we wanted to neutralize it somehow but we had no idea how to avoid disaster that surely would come if it dies #but it would have also revitalize nature on a basically divine scale by giving it's body back to it so there was this dilemma the whole tim #but none of us would have any answers so we just followed this inner draw regardless of the uncertainty #and the entire dream was basically us lureing the creature somewhere but simultaniously it was somehow luring us in as wel #to the same spot #it was a vast moonlit fieald outside of city bounds surrounded with tall dark trees and the sky was littered with stars #and a sharp cliff to one side #so we arrived there and we were standing on opposite sides and look towards each other #but looking into the creatures eyes literally woke me up #there was a noise it made and i know i understood it as words inside the dream but i can't remember what it was after waking just the noise #and that was it #it wasn't long i think tho it felt that way

Realised it’s @khoc-week so even though I don’t have the energy to do it daily have this I did a while ago but never posted.

Arxeht my beloved. They came to me in a dream where I was a replica (of multiple people but looked most like Vidar) made by apprentice Nort/Xemnas, who was the fifteenth member of the organisation and also had my knowledge of hit video games Kingdom Hearts and kept getting randomly thrown through space and time.

#khocweek2024 #kh oc #kh ocs #kingdom hearts oc #kingdom hearts original character #Arxeht #blue boi draws #kingdom hearts #kh #Arxeht my beloved I love them #Apprentice Nort started making them to help figure out memories and based them on people he’d get glimpses of in dreams #but he got distracted and only came back and finished them/woke them up around the beginning of Days after Xion #meaning they are theoretically younger then Xion and Roxas but with the way they act and view the others they’re older #they woke up sorta all at once unlike Roxas and Xion. they also have basic knowledge about General Like that the kiddos lack #also their knowledge of how the game plays out is from the perspective of someone who played the games.#like they’d know the ‘press triangle for Sora’ meme and the differences between CoM and ReCoM and refer to time periods by their game name #also VERY AWARE that most kh games are tragedies and desperately trying to change that despite not really having the power to do so #Arxeht is shit at fighting but is saved from getting injured by any time they’re about to get hit it triggers a jump through time/space #and the jumps can be really far and in fast succession. they start a jump in twilight town and are thrown through Daybreak Town #and like two other worlds until they settle and fef a chance to breathe. its handy because they wont die but jumps can happen #in the middle of a conversation or while they’re trying to get somewhere in particular and then suddenly they’re ten years in the past #in a whole different world. it sucks.#can you tell the dream they came from was a stress dream? 90% of what I remember from it was running around trying to get to Xion and Roxas #and keep them safe. the other 10% was the org not knowing what to think of Arx and Xemnas being weird #Arxeht is heart + x in a reflection of Xehanort being no heart + x btw. that did not come from the dream I made it awake #Xemnas was weird he had a very distant vaguely amused view on everything Arxeht was doing I don’t think he ever thought of them as a threat #unlike Xigbar who was concerned which is fair because Arxeht knew he was Luxu and about MoM and stuff #the time jumps can get really long as well but tend to avoid kh era?? days onwards and bbs and before is fair game but they dont actually #meet Sora until kh2.#their main power is information. they know who people are and what’s going on and they are constantly trying to tell people during the

SO many feelings about him omgg rant under cut please forgive me

okay so i don't really talk or draw him much cause honestly,,,most of the times i just think he's a bit....boring? or more accurately plain? not in a mean way either but just in a 'fades into the background' type of way like don't get me wrong!! he's a really nice friend to his peers, his feelings about his powers and aura making his relationships harder to navigate and trust along with his whole conflict with nightmare and morality about what's good and bad IS very cool!! and i love it whenever they write him to be complex and not on this black and white mentality or when he's just straight up following along his friends with no free will or with a dubious purpose without ever addressing his issues or feelings! it's just unsatisfying to me :')

or when they're making him the 'naive' and oblivious, (sometimes childish?) character being marked as the obstacle and villain along with the other star sanses from the fic's pov, always talking about doing good things while fighting his brother and not hearing him out about the balance, (and for weak reasons most of the time. like it's been so long and you STILL haven't sat down with him when he's, generally, basically begged you to just have a talk? guys please :'( ) or when they go for the victim sad dream always missing the old nightmare, where corrupted nightmare is the incarnation of evil, with no sympathy or emotion except anger and sadistic glee, killing and hurting everyone and dream's just trying to protect the multiverse and dream's always been in the right. such extremes!!!

LIKE!! i hope i'm not the only one that thinks a 500+ year old should have had enough time to idk. learn things? about people and manipulation and deceit? after knowing what the villagers did to night? about the bad things in the world and how there's a lot of grey areas in life and that he maybe reflected on his past enough to process and ask himself if there should to be a convo to settle his differences with nightmare (and you can make nightmare the stubborn one too! or have them BOTH be petty and imperfect and have some things wrong and some right at the same time like why do i always see the good guy vs bad guy cliché with these two when they're the perfect example of why positivity doesn't have meaning without the negativity!! as long as there's a satisfying evolution or growth that doesn't leave me empty i'm good yknow?)

plus i believe dream really isn't as dumb as people view him. i do get some of you saying he probably can't read or write since that's actually a pretty interesting idea to explore! but in general please let him have emotions other than pure sunshiny happiness or endless sadness like he's gotta have more depth than that! let him make mistakes, have flaws that don't just make him the bad guy that's always in the wrong by default, and be angry or suspicious or jealous or bitter or battling his mental health problems/depression or malicious or smart or witty or mischievous and silly or sarcastic or ANYTHING dude i just want him to be put into different scenarios where he can be serious or lighthearted like it doesn't even have to be long or perfect but make him feel real.

it could definitely be that i don't read or see much art about dream or really look for it hard enough but also i just. i feel bad for even saying this fr and i wanna be honest about why i don't enjoy most stories about him cause he always gets the worst treatment along with ink!!! especially ink omg the poor guy has it the worst i think like wow do they mess him up :'(

always one dimensional in non shippy fics, or too plain or easily replaceable by other, more entertaining people in the significant other's life in most of his ships like man. i have read fics out there that made me genuinely FEEL and root for him and love his character so much it restored all hope for me!!! but i can only name one on top of my head and the others? it's been so long i don't even remember their names i just legit feel terrible cause i love him still and i can't find many headcanons that fit my interpretation of him yknow?

not to say people who write him very happy, mislead or sad are ruining him like that's silly- if i see something i don't like i just. move on bro i wouldn't force people to feel or think the same way i do about him cause anyone can have whatever headcanons they want!!! just talking about what i personally look for in him and why i can't exactly find it since most of the stuff out there just isn't my cup of tea :')

Nothing more frustrating than having a dream set in an amazing book series and then waking up to find out it doesn’t exist. Guess I’VE gotta write this now

#it was so INTERESTING and vivid. i woke up like ‘i swear i’ve read this’ but it doesn’t actually exist #okay so the setting was this world where the moon has cracked in half (potentially due to human intervention idk)#the tides have gone super weird because of this #the majority of humans live at basically the tops of really really tall buildings. like at high altitude #at the lower levels; it’s just water. the lower down you go the humidity increases also #so as well as the humans who live at the top of the world there are vaporous species living at the mid level and there are mer-creatures #in the sea. god knows how agriculture works in this world. i know people had rooftop gardens #maybe everyone had adapted to a vegan diet or maybe there was trade with the mermaids to get fish. idk #anyway; the majority of my dream was concerned with this elite university academy and this one problematic student named alex #he had been sentenced to life imprisonment for basically insulting the government (this was a very totalitarian regime that had formed when #the world first cracked and everything went to shit)#but he would be able to get his sentence overturned if he took this one class (i think it was civics or politics or something #with a media focus) and basically created the best propaganda video imaginable #so they were basically requiring him to recant his claims publicly; endorse the government; and he had to do it so convincingly #that his video would be rated the best in the class #the other people in the class included these two sisters who also badly needed to pass in order to graduate #and a bunch of exchange students #also the sky is basically a television in this world #everyone is up so high that they can see the moon fractured in two and it’s Really close to the earth #but you can’t see much else in the sky. so they were doing shit like beaming everyone’s class schedules and syllabi and lists of what you #need to buy for class directly into the sky #i don’t know if i’m selling it but it was so INTERESTING. i was really annoyed when i woke up and realised i couldn’t actually read this #because it doesn’t exist #APPARENTLY i have to write it. which is worrying because i’m not at all good at worldbuilding. but honestly the dream was so vivid #i can basically just.. take it and expand on it very slightly #i think what interested me was the backdrop of this elite university that all the kids of rich family go to vs the obvious reality #of this world; where there is food scarcity and very little diversity of habitats. and a dictator #personal

#so i called my landlord the other day about the cannabis smell #and he called the police to ask what to do when the smell comes in strong #and he was told that i should call the police (so basically the emergency number) when that happens #and they'd send the police to inspect the situation _while_ the smell is still strong #but i'm too much of a wussy because i'm scared they'll get angry at me for calling them about something like this 😭#because i made the mistake of reading some bulletin board discussions again and they were all like 'nah the police have better stuff to do'#and anyway now i've also started doubting myself because whenver the smell comes (which is still pretty much every single night)#i'm first like ewwwww that's definitely cannabis #but then when i try to brace myself for actually calling the police i'm like 'but what if it's not and i'm overreacting'#because the more i try to smell it to become 100% sure it's cannabis the more vague the smell becomes :S #i also already had a weird dream about the neighbour i think it is bullying me bc they somehow found out i had called the cops on them 😥#so yeah i guess i'll just move out instead :)#or sit in my apartment with all the doors closed every fucking night
