An Unnecessary Essay on: APOLOGY TOUR
Overall loved the episode. Can't wait to see where things go.
(I took an edible and wrote this guys don't hate me please lol)
Guys I know we are ALL here for the Stolitz content and comments...and we will get there in due time. But let us not forget that the WHOLE POINT of the past 2 episodes is to show an extreme turning point in BLITZØ'S character. (at least that is how I'm interpreting it) Verosika really put it well, even though she said it in a mocking tone, that Blitz is just now fully realizing that his actions, words, and the way he treats others has an actual effect. He has been hating himself inside of his mind for SO LONG that all he knows how to do is hurt himself and lash out to hurt those he cares most for. Although his trauma explains his shitty actions, it DOESN'T excuse them. (Don't get me twisted for an apologist, I am an empathizer but I there is a line to which people need to be held accountable)
And this is where Stolas has changed literally EVERYTHING in Blitz's life. Although I think the main focus is on Blitz, there is NO denying Blitz and Stolas are intertwined in a million ways both emotionally and physically. Stolas has every right to be pissed at him, has every right to be vulnerable, and has every right to kiss/hook up with someone else. GUYS THE SONG HE FUCKING SINGS HAD ME IN TEARS JESUS IT WAS SO GOOD. But I think (more an optimistic hope bc at the end of the day I am a Stolitz lover) that Stolas will come around. Even though at the end of the episode there is the theme of "Moving on", I think that Stolas' true emotions lie in what he sung, not his drunken actions. Overall, I believe THIS is the catalyst that will cause both of them to end up together. It may take a while, but I have a feeling it will get there.
Honorable mention goes out to the amazing Verosika talk with Blitz!! I really like how they have incorporated her as a character who is empathetic to both sides of the situation, and is willing to help both of them, but not meddle/stir the pot. I think her support and participation in the show going forward will be VITAL.
OVERALL WEEPING CRYING THROWING UP I WILL HAVE MORE THOUGHTS LATER
bye bye pals !!!

okay more elden ring DLC spoilers below the read more
what fucks me up the most is ....... that we never actually get to meet the real actual Radahn, hes either a rotting zombie or some constructed meat puppet with a manipulated soul of his
the most we know is from the base game stuff, his men and everything, but we never get to meet him- and now ... it undermines the whole festival, i felt like it was sorrowful goodbye and attempt to grant him an honorable death- that made me fall for him in the end, the lore around that and the whole build up and vibe of it, it felt so genuine but now you cant feel that, bc you know .... either way he will be suffering, let him rot for all eternity being a threat to friend and foe alike, as this mindless monster chowing away at corpses like a beast when he used to be a powerful respected general
or kill him but instead of giving him the death he wanted his soul is instead grafted into a meat puppet by his half brother so he can be controlled and made to agree to marry him despite rejecting it in life (as far as i understood it, he definitely did reject it though bc otherwise malenia wouldnt have tried to assassinate him to get him delivered over)-
so theres no good answer and im left wondering, did his men know of that? im gonna guess no, bc the whole point of the festival was to bring him HONOR when there was nothing of his honor left, of him left, and theres no honor in being turned into a literal marionette for your half brothers sick play
you could call it tragic, and it is, but it feels so much more ..... like just wanting to violate him even in death, just because he hasnt suffered enough, lets make it even more horrible just for sufferings sake (like i get it, i like when my favs also get to suffer, what happened to him in the base game was a part of why i love him so much- but theres a limit to that imo) it takes away from so much of the festival and everything, you are not taking part in one last final battle so Radahn can die fighting, you are handing his soul over to his half brother that wants to use him like a puppet, LITERALLY, to make a mockery of his memory, make him do things he would never have if he was himself, i cant think of anything more horrible to do to him
and his people are utterly convinced they are doing right by him, when the rot was probably better than what miquella would do to him, as horrible as that was.. and if they WERE aware then wow ....... i guess miquella really had everyone on his side huh uwu, like that sucks even more, so none of them ever felt and cared about him or were all also brainwashed YIPPIIIE
(not to mention how much interesting miquella lore gets twisted into actually he was just a scheming little creep and everyone that followed him was quite literlally brainwashed- i know the whole bewitching thing is like, his thing, but MAN- it feels like whoops it was all a dream and it never actually happened when its done bad)
(and i know Radahn is a fictional character but people are gonna pin it on him i just know it, like espeically those that dont care about lore and are just there for the fights .... like its not his fault!!! and i felt like he was already hated enough, first by his too hard boss battle in base game and now in the DLC its a repeat of that even harder (though i find the complaints a lil >_> bc i have seen people just walk right over story bosses so just ... overlevel yourself if you want to do that too, you dont have to fight a boss for three days, explore and level up?) and it was already annoying how malenia defenders AND radahn defenders kept trying to make the other into some horrible asshat, when they are both not great and thats valid, but now its??? )

AVM RELATIONSHIP HEADCANON TIME these are literally all just based on random feelings I get from them.
TSC and Red: so I imagine Red and TSC are both aroace and don't do relationships, but they both care very strongly for their friends.
Blue and Yellow: they are just together. they are gay. I love them both sm. yes its cause of those captions in that one video saying "I ship it". but also like they just work SO WELL TOGETHER whenever they are paired up they get along really well and don't really have any problems, like they both naturally understand each other and communicate rlly well. It just makes me very happy. And also just the way Yellow takes Blue's hand in that one ep and just HHNNGG I love it sm. I actually don't think they've ever fought like in the sense where they were mad at each other- and I definitely wouldn't want to see them to. Although I CAN also see them as friends, they'd be like. Very affectionate and super close friends if so. I also imagine these two are probably like... the two least likely to start a fight with someone.
Green and Purple: I love these two so much, maybe even more than Yellow and Blue. Green is definitely the closest to Purple out of the gang, but I'm not sure whether I see them as platonic or romantic though. Like they could totally be either and I'd be 100% cool with it. I like to see them as QPRs. It makes me very happy seeing lots of people ship them cause even if theirs isn't a QPR, it still works as one. They both adore music. Green loves drama and sad backstories and Purple has THE sad backstory of all time so imo they get along very well. Like I just imagine Purple probably feels like nobody would like them cause of everything that's happened, they feel broken and then Green just comes along and is like. Hey. You are so cool. And Purple is liek "what omg they like me even tho im a mess???" n is probably very happy about that. And I bet Green loves the attention from Purple too. That new short with Green and Purple is everything to me. He's tryin to impress them rahh.
I also imagine Purple being aroacespec? They are also both gay bc I say so. (also getting sidetracked here but King Orange/Mango is also aroace to me hehe.)
I wanted to write more like how I think red is the second closest (/platonic) to purple after green and how I could see green being QPRs with other characters as well (namely red and blue) but omg my laptop's on 7% and i havent eaten in like 8 hours so yeah. I will add onto this later.

The Warren Witches | Patty Halliwell
Patricia 'Patty' Halliwell was the only daughter of Penelope and Allen Halliwell. Raised alone by her mother after her father's death, Patty was a formidable witch but known as being considerably more agreeable than her mother. She possessed the power of molecular immobilization. While she had her share of torrid love affairs, she's most known for being the mother of the Charmed Ones, the most powerful witches of the Warren line (see Prue Halliwell, Piper Halliwell, Phoebe Halliwell, and Paige Matthews). Despite her skill and allies, Patty was killed in a fight with the Water Demon, who was permanently vanquished by her daughters over twenty years later.

When you watch a dungeon cooking show and your first thought to make some lil' guys...
Say hello to Elleroy Kits (Left, any pronouns) and Wittlebea Guyz (Right, They/She). One talks way to much and the other listens, can you tell who??
Anyways, Elleroy and Wittlebea are a party of two so far who mostly study the medicinal properties of the plants/monsters in the first coupe of floors. They'll occasionally take jobs from the half-foot guild to make more research money but for most part just do their own thing.
I have not read the manga nor am i caught up on the anime (I'm at the red dragon) so pls no spoilers!

Its so funny that Makoto gets such an awful rep (usually bc of her treatment of Futaba), but going through the game again, Makoto is the one who leads the conversation into getting her to open up for the palace door. She immediately offers up the idea of just being honest with Futaba; no lies or soft words, just straight facts in a calm voice. She knew Futaba wanted the change of heart, badly enough that shed listen without having to be convinced by force. And when Futaba panics about having to open up, Makoto makes sure she has no chance of backing out (‘give me time to open the door’ ‘ten seconds’ ‘WHAT???!’). Its for her own good!!
I think it can come across as mean and overbearing and even insensitive, especially if you are someone who is sees themself IN Futaba, but Makoto is both incredibly caring, sisterly, and understanding during the entirety of her arc. Like most characters, fandom seems to completely warp and exaggerate very specific moments and traits and sum up entire personalities bc of it. Ryuji and him being stupid; Ann and her being loud and mean; Yusuke being dumb as shit and singleminded for NO discernible reason, etc etc. People took the snooping and her one vaguely insensitive comment (about futaba and her whole Thing) and decided that she was a cunt and a bitch that couldnt be reasoned with.
Its so bizarre. Im aware that every piece of media w vaguely assertive girls has this issue (Sakura, Katara, Aqua, etc etc) but its still crazy that this is prevalent. Shes like the direct mirror of Goro and he does not get this specific kind of hate (usually its ‘he backstabbed and blackmailed us so i hate him’). Sorry. I need to be a Makoto Apologist to protect her from the rest of the world. My girl did nothing wrong shes just weird. She thought she could fight a mafia boss and she was RIGHT! She WON!!!!

the way franklin has silna's father's body disposed of in ep 3 is a really fascinating indication of how the english see the inuit to me.
because yeah, obviously it's incredibly disrespectful in ignoring the man's own burial traditions and even from an entirely english pov as a way to "bury" someone. but on top of that i find it very telling that they felt it was their place to bury him at all--if they truly didn't think he was worth the trouble, why not just give his body to silna?
they must have felt on some level they had a claim to his body and, perhaps in their seeing themselves as a last outpost of civilization, a duty to make sure it was taken care of. even though they clearly didn't care one bit about the man they were actually burying.
this moment is one of a few in the show where the english seem to assume, entirely without question, that they have authority over the arctic and the people in it. that just by virtue of being english they are naturally and immediately the highest (worldly) power present. which obviously betrays a deeply imperialistic worldview.
and in showing that insidious assumption of authority in interaction with more baldly racist disrespect and disregard towards a netsilik person, i feel this moments highlights the twofold superiority the english feel over the inuit: both as having a exclusive claim to power and as having a exclusive claim to personhood

This is literally one of my favorite moments for both Harry Kim and B’Elanna characterization.
I think a lot of people forget how soft hearted and altruistic B’Elanna specifically can be while Harry, of course a friendly and sweet individual, devotes himself most often to the mission, his friends and Starfleet’s ideals.
Harry’s been shown to be much more down-to-earth and less fantastical in his thinking than either Tom or B’Elanna. The only time he gets in major trouble with Janeway and breaks protocol is because he wants to be with a woman. This is distinctly different to me than Tom’s (attempting to save an alien world) and B’Elanna’s (giving a robot race the ability to reproduce) transgressions.
His other biggest infraction is begin a mutiny which he does in order to save Janeway & Chakotay. He doesn’t get in trouble for this which is why I put it last but again it seems different from Tom or B’Elanna to me because it’s For The Ship it’s For The Captain it’s a crime which displays his loyalty to Janeway instead of one which demonstrates him going against her ideologically (as shown by the lack of punishment).
In that way I think B’Elanna and Harry balance each other well.
B’Elanna is a person who seems very nervous and defensive when in conversation with others, who thinks of herself as a person who is ‘bad’ and doesn’t believe in herself much.
Meanwhile Harry seems to be at ease with most anyone he speaks to, attempting to befriend even Seven of Nine right away. He’s confident in himself and his abilities and out of everyone (yes even Tom who seems most often to just become frustrated) would be the one to push B’Elanna and break through her defenses.
That’s to say it makes perfect sense that B’Elanna would be absolutely enamored by this person who views her as inspiring, would be struck by that while Harry views it as just a weird question.
