1: ive been thinking abt it and ive kind of come to the conclusion that this was. a little bit of an insane tone shift. not bad or good! just neutral and kind of insane! because i really genuinely dont think anyone watches 911 for Real Stakes. i know i watch it for the characters and the crazy action and stupid situations. so it feels kind of like whiplash to introduce mcd in season EIGHT. on a generic story front its fine, people die! dying is a plot point that is reasonable! it just feels fucking WILD for 911. in over a HUNDRED episodes the only other people that were around for more than like three episodes who died were shannon and doug and even then, they were not fully fleshed out characters dfkjhfdjkg so this is just a MAJOR change that feels soooooo crazy to me. again. not good or bad. just a really strange choice to be making NOW of all times (first full length season on a new network after getting renewed for another full length season and deciding to change the formula while the show is at its most popular. very bizarre to me)

B: on a personal level. idk if i am emotionally stable enough in my real life to process the amount of fictional grief we r going to be steeped in the next few weeks. im being super self aware in recognizing that 911 is usually my escapism and is probably unfortunately no longer going feel like escapism for a bit due to. gestures vaguely. the world at large and also my stupid little problems and issues :(( i would already be having trouble chilling no matter how he died bc i am a little sensitive about grief rn, but it being SPECIFICALLY due to an infectious disease does NOT do good things for me personally as an immunocompromised person in the middle of an ongoing global pandemic. i am not doing great w it as a scenario! and i recognize that! usually I think of 911 as an outlet for me to feel emotional about things in a “safe” way bc we know that everything always turns out okay (angsty fic etc), but now all of the sadposting is just making me kind of miserable with no safety net and bringing up stuff from my life i was NOT expecting to have to contend with while watching my stupid little firefighter procedural cjfhdjdhfjfj

iii: that being said, in an attempt to not be willingly putting myself alongside complete abject misery in a pressure cooker, i am probably out for a while!! maybe a few days and maybe until s9, i dont know! kay im gonna be honest MOST of my art is completely done by muscle memory. i dont have actual methods for how i decide to draw faces rn lol and a lot of it is me copying shit or just figuring out how to incorporate something into my artstyle without throwing off the rest of my shit i have going on already. But here is KINDA how i do it IF MY WEIRD EXPLAINING HELPS LOLOLOL

(first circle head base lol) I draw faces first. dont worry about getting it perfect anyway because you can fix it when you have the fuller picture. (for facial poportions its a little hard to describe since its also muscle memory but theres a gif at the bottom )

then i add the head shape . im not actually perfect at all when it comes to shaping the head right and i typically struggle even now cause like i said its more muscle memory than a concious thing i do. but i KIND OF try to allign the "cheek" with the end of the nose but in the case of characters like dave who have a longer face i make it start a little lower and more in the middle (but you can also just pull the face down with the select tool if it looks too short)

then i add the "bangs" or hair closest to the face bc its gotta frame the face properly

and then after that i draw the hair --- which i draw WAY OFF the circle base first of all (bc i draw them with hair volume i can only dream of) and also VERY spikey. i draw animals and fur a lot so i kinda draw it more similar to that then actual hair lol but I draw it in seperate peices so i can get the shape perfect. a common mistake with jack's hair is that i make it TOO wide behind his head but in those cases i can just use the transform tool to make it less wide. another thing for me in general though: the transform tool is my friend. if things are ALMOST right but slightly off I just try to warp it until it looks right enough that i can fix anything i still have a problem with. same with poses you can just rip the arm off of their body and position it how you want (and make it look right with lineart and all that) if none of this helps though i am completely fine with tracing my shit for that practice and all that (just dont claim it as ur own ofc) loool my art process is not very organized at all. i just DO.

every night as dwayne dantés klein performs like he’s gonna go to sleep after his nice expensive bath, but actually he’s gonna secretly transform into gehrman sparrow and teleport out of his room somewhere w creeping hunger and go slaughter criminals in the dead of night, or make arrodes (who he can communicate with through mirrors!) use an illusion as if he’s sleeping to go on some other stealth operation. that contrast is hilarious helppp he is 100% on both vibes 😭 plus since gehrman is equivalent to The World he’s always present at the tarot club and gets commissions and missions from them! my guy klein is booked and busy!!

like I said in a previous post, it’s such an experience having my favorite character be my favorite character be my favorite character be my favorite character be my favorite character. they’re all klein but also not, I love klein as klein he is the best ever, but I also love him Separately. like gehrman is the best ever too… I consider the identities all as separate characters I love for themselves while simultaneously also the same guy because I know they’re the same—uogghhoghogh klein is simply the character ever he’s so likeable in every form he takes. im still in the middle of reading this novel and yet im so serious he might be approaching on the #1 spot of my favorite characters across all media list. actually Crazy im obsessed with him

anyway I could talk about klein aka the fool aka sherlock aka gehrman aka dwayne here for 10000 years but back to reviewing in timeline-order

gehrman sparrow & alger’s mysterious island date finally happened! they went there through teleporting <3 I liked the adventure a lot, they have a natural teamwork!! but never let alger sing or gehrman will shoot him in the neck <3

the temple there had some kind of connection to amon…. the picture drawn in the inner tomb represents the lord of storms, eternal blazing sun, god of wisdom & the true creator. all of them were consuming the city of silver creator. that was wild it exploded my brain bc it revealed the last 3 unnamed kings of angels this whole time were in fact 3 of the current well-known gods who had gotten an upgrade after betraying the city of silver creator…! frightening

the meticulous nature of klein strikes again with his time spent investigating & scoping out the saint samuel cathedral as dwayne dantés to try and rob the antigonus family notebook from them 👍 the day to start the operation began and his plans were completely solid, the tension was high he was seconds away from grabbing it— and then that sealed artifact dead angel thing kidnapped him 😭

and so started one of my fav arcs of the entire novel so far

I was reading the heist before bed one night like “yeah I’ll go to sleep after he steals the notebook” SIKE! klein is banished to the shadow realm! and now I can’t stop reading

guys I was So scared for him I had to know he’d make it through this safely 😣 because suddenly he’s faced with a situation of being extremely nerfed w zero connection to the grey fog, in an eerie and deadly shadow town *shivers* it was so spooky to read in the dark. his former enemies were there too like mr. A and the demigod demoness who was behind the great smog of backlund, she got him 🤏 near to death. he lost his ghost pokemon marionette senor in the process :( it was the closest brush he’s ever had with losing control too my heart was pounding

and then they started just Dropping Major Reveals one after the other?? I stayed up all that night to read this, goodbye my sleep schedule. some of these reveals were literally questions raised from the first chapter of this book so I was losing it

like wtf do you mean ZARATUL is there?!??!? why are you appearing already old man! he split his body and projected part of himself here while the rest of him turned into a monster? the ravings of “hornacis flegrea“ are from the creepy hanging dead marionette people in the shadowy cathedral??? and that “treasure” + visions calling those of the seer pathway to the hornacis mountain peak in the first place is connected directly to this shadow realm, but it’s infact actually a trap leading to the Antigonus family angel who lost control and became a monster and every dead person here in this cathedral is the victim of said misdirections??? HUHHHH WAAAAAAHT AJDJFJGM. arrodes’s info telling klein where to get bizarro sorcerer’s formula were actually all leading klein to the same place & situation!

THE SYMBOL FOR THE ESCAPE DOOR WAS A LIE. FRANK LEE CREEPY MUSHROOM CLUTCH. OKAY IM DISTURBED AGAIN 🍄 THERE IS A CARD OF BLASPHEMY NEXT TO THE THRONE OF THE TEMPLE IN THE PEAK BY THE ANTIGONUS FAMILY ANGEL MONSTER AND ITS CORRESPONDING TO THE SEER PATHWAY—

HE PICKED THAT AS HIS NAME HIMSELF DUDE. ITS THE ACTUAL NAME? IS IT HIS FATE? OR THE RESULTING AFFECT OF MULTIPLE SYNCHRONOUS FACTORS COMBINING TOGETHER? HIS TRUE DESTINY?

seeing klein have to put his mind into maximum overdrive without the safety to rely on his “cheats” like the grey fog, completely alone just with his own power, was fantastic. he lost his marionette but in comparison what he gained from this ordeal was extremely good!!! he knows the truth about the hornacis mountain peak, about zaratul’s situation (who is free now btw……… uh oh……) he exacted revenge on the killers behind the great smog of backlund, he got the potion formula for sequence 4 bizarro sorcerer, he discovered the sequence 0 of his pathway is The Fool, and he even got an awesome new upgraded creeping hunger with more slots and abilities!!!!!!!! despite the rather horrifying and dark sections there was also fun parts, the developments were very tricky and unexpected— some were according to my speculations but other things were very much not and it shocked me. it was honestly a perfect arc. it also makes sense to me now how amon would be interested in the fool…. he most likely knows that’s the sequence 0 name of seer too, he’s lived a long time and would surely be intrigued with that right

and after this due to the lingering trauma from the incident klein had to consult miss justice audrey for psychological help for the first time which was 🥹 she told him to not give up, don’t keep everything inside & to wish for happiness pleaseee I will cry she’s so sweet

he finalllyyy connected the dots that his old friend resurrected and is sherlock moriarty and gehrman sparrow. he even went all the way to tingen to dig up klein’s grave to check for sure if he was there and found it empty… URGH URHG urgh dies. leonard became aware that klein is connected with the fool and that his goal is the same as his own— to take revenge on the people who destroyed their team and ohhh he was Sooo emotional about it. my heart broke reading the way his eyes teared up and his hands trembled when he thought about klein? please its so 😭😭😭😭 oh my god I love them 🥲🥹💖 and klein got in contact with him as his identity dwayne (which leonard thinks is azik), trying to protect leonard and warn him about dangers from a distance. I weep 😭😭

I had many thoughts up to this point so before I get to ranting about the finale of the volume lemme go through them

first, klein adventuring in the southern continent!!! return of danitz and anderson!! (who’s been suffering recently, poor guy) klein turned a monster pathway beyonder into his marionette which gave him control of fate abilities, And turned admiral hell ludwell into his marionette too!!! thank you azik :3 the news spread like wildfire and gehrman sparrow easily gets more famous and feared, as he should mhm 🙂‍↕️

now I had this little wondering since before which I’ll mention— the spirit world colored lights. I know that they can sense a slight abnormality on klein as shown by yellow light before, but I’m curious how they would treat The Fool if they directly met him? because he is the existence that rules above the spirit world, above the grey fog, would they be his subjects then?

anon feels creepy to me in such a unique way like a storm constantly looming on the periphery. his brief appearances are enough to make people literally jump up and run for the hills Like. him just being in backlund made leonard + pallez & klein instantly gtfo. he’s been the only entity capable so far of sticking his hand directly into the grey fog. all of these super ominous vibes surround him, and yet the last I saw of him he was casually having dinner at a random backlund pub???? the juxtaposition????? guy has a sense of he doesn’t gaf, he’s enigmatic which is even More eerie imo. it feels like any minute his avatar will suddenly appear and attack, and from the impression im forming so far it feels like he’ll casually do it like he’s ordering a coffee. idk yet if im right w that but I just Know the encounter is going to happen at some some point 100%. it’s just a matter of when…. the apprehension.

also y’know I never expected to see zaratul appear before the azik memory plotline reached its conclusions, and I certainly didn’t expect to see the azik conclusions happen before will auceptin’s birth. I no longer have any ability to predict where this novel goes and that’s beautiful.. I did love the progression of how things went though. the structure of having azik’s matter completed, leading directly to the evernight goddess reveal whose hints were scattered in since volume 1, leonard’s realizations, and all of these tying together into the situation regarding ince zangwill was so smooth

I’ve been distracted all day since last night w dry eyes making this post from my notes while repeating the scenes in my head. the emotional catharsis and tragedy was excellent it affected me really hard <\3

everything that happened from beginning to end of this volume was amazing, it was easily my top favorite volume so far. the last part is certainly my #1 favorite scene ever ❤️‍🩹 I love this novel so much it’s the most specialest bestest ever

there was lots more stuff going on like the red angel medici, the marauder pathway girl hazel with her rat teacher, the psychology alchemists stuff with audrey, but idk if I can form any additional theories abt that right now or analysis of any characters other than what I already have written here, I’m emotionally exhausted 😭 I just need to start the next volume and know what happens okay that cliffhanger was mean. and in this next volume I’d better see my boy leonard joining the tarot club!!! c’mon he’s basically there already he chanted the fool’s name, him and klein can’t just separate like that again. let me have this please. my lotm playlist needs more songs as well, especially some emotional ones now, im working on it and just sitting with the feelings more. :’) if anyone has any recommendations lmk

new realizations and accommodations!!

i have always struggled so much with going nonverbal when i'm overwhelmed or upset. it's been a huge problem in all of my intimate relationships esp with romantic partners who i have to see in person to maintain our connection.

i didn't have the words to describe it until recently. it feels like i'm thinking a tornado of overwhelming thoughts that are all happening at the same time so i can't pick any out to actually say. if i do manage to pick one out, i physically can't get myself to voice the words. i'll just sit there thinking "ok, say it.... now!" and then nothing comes out. sometimes for hours at a time.

i thought that texting would help me with this problem. but every time i do, it leads to fighting and confusion, and i never understood why. whenever i look back, it seems like the texts i sent didn't make any sense and weren't accurate to how i was rly feeling. they're angry and accusatory and im unable to see a bigger picture. but i said those things bc those are the thoughts i was having. i've been feeling lost, defeated, and isolated.

then recently, after learning more abt autism, i realized what was going on. it's bc im still trying to use words!! in the middle of a conflict that causes me overwhelm to the point of shut down, i go into a state where i am only capable of using words to desperately respond, rather than to express a truth within me, or to ask clarification for a bigger picture.

example scenario - im super overstimulated so im irritable and im ignoring someone and being short with them. i do feel angry but like the kind when you haven't eaten dinner so you're mad if someone even tries to talk to you. so when they ask if im angry with them and why, i say something like, yes, i am so angry and it's bc you tried to talk to me and i didnt like it. and ofc the other person is like wtf??? but i don't know what else to say bc that was the answer to the question.

sometimes i'm not even able to respond to the question. i just stand there not saying anything or looking them in the eye or even recoiling from their touches or them getting closer to me. so they're like oh no, julian is super upset with me rn.

so sometimes i text them instead, bc i thought the problem was speaking out loud. but the same thing happens, i say things like, you talked to me wrong so that made me mad. 😭 and then when asked for clarification ill explain why the way they talked to me was so wrong and upsetting, or something else that wasn't the real problem but was technically the answer to the question.

so the problem isn't speaking. it's using words. its feeling like i have to come up with a specific answer to the specific question, during an extremely limited state of mind.

all of this is leading up to a potential solution to the problem, after long long last.

a communication board!

if you've never seen one, it's basically just a chart of words with pictures to go with them. and you point to the tiles instead of coming up with words yourself. i had a lot of fun putting together my own. it's super simple.

i used it with sid at lunch yesterday. the pictures that go with the words for emotions are much more accurate to how i feel rather than coming up with words myself in the context of answering a question. if i tried to point at the angry shouting face it would feel wrong. i was able to point to the overstimulated and scared faces instead. thru the board i was able to tell him i didn't mean to say those things, what i rly wanted was a hug until i calmed down. i'm sorry.

it was so beautiful and a huge relief. normally what would have happened was we would sit in miserable silence together the whole lunch. and be miserable perhaps the whole evening, until i figured out how to say how i really feel and apologize. which would be a huge struggle bc sometimes i might start explaining again why the way he talked to me was so wrong, or something like that.

i used the board a couple times more later too. nothing has ever helped me like that before. i've always just resorted to being hard on myself for being so evil and mean and confusing and incomprehensible. it's not true!! i just need pictures!

skyrim oc loreposting starts NAOW no one asked for this except maybe pigeon....but im doing it anyway

i have four main skrim ocs rn who are all part of the same family. (disclaimer i have very shaky knowledge of TES lore so just like. go w it)

it all starts abt 40 years ago when a young man named Ahlum Faedan leaves his home to become an adventurer. shortly after arriving in skyrim he meets an altmer woman named amiira and falls desperately in love w her. they spend a year or so traveling together and eventually amiira gets pregnant with reykr. shes not really a settle down type but she really loves ahlum so she tries for a couple of years before deciding she cant do the wife life and ditching town in the middle of the night.

ahlum was sad but decided to stick it out and raise his son and eventually met and fell in love w another named khari. ahlum and khari love each other a lot and khari is not hugely adventurous, she IS built for a quiet life. eventually they marry and have a set of twins, idela and cassian.

things are good for a while. khari and ahlum are in love and khari loves reykr like her own. then, sad! khari gets sick and dies! and its sad. im sorry khari. they live for a while and then one day, amiira blows back into in ahlums life. by this point, reykr is about 16. amiira is sort of in and out of their lives for a while and one time she comes back and she pregnant and she say it's ahlums. thusly is born raiia and no one is 100% certain who her father is but they do not care, they love her anyway. when raiia is around 6, ahlum and amiira are like. well. you're all fine. reykr is the dad now and they leave.

reykr is sort of mad about this but he'd been doing most of the man of the house work by that point anyway. he tries not to begrudge his father and mother their freedoms, and never allows himself to be resentful of his siblings.

so we have

reykr. at the beginning of the skrim main story hes like 39. hes The Dragonborn, at the center of the main story, although all the siblings learn they have the Voice. hes hopelessly smitten with kaidan. he's goofy and kind of haughty and very good at everything he chooses to do. gods favorite princess etc etc. he did the companions stuff with raiia but chose not to remain a werewolf, although the companions are all very fond of him. he likes dogs more than cats, but he likes both. he adopted meeko and has a cat named pretzel and his horse is named lil carrot. he also has skritch the skeever who is weirdly always around when he and kaidan kiss. fujoshi rat. reykrs the leader of the thieves guild and lives in honeyside when he's not adventuring. i haven't decided who he's gonna adopt yet!

idela! as the Eldest Daughter, despite being one of the middle children technically, she feels a great responsibility for her siblings and always took up the slack when reykr was flagging. idela is a sweet young woman who can shoot the eye off a frost spider from halfway across the map. she's on the dark brotherhood track, and a member of the dawnguard. she's in love w serana (ive recently discovered theres like. discourse around this? i dont wanna hear it) and theyve adopted aventus arentino and runa fair-shield. she travels around with a cat named porkchop and gladys the corgi, her horse is named beans and she lives at lakeview manor!

third!

cassian! don't look at val. cassian was the baby for a long time and once had a bit of a rebellious streak. he acted out as a teen and even once ran off to try to be a pirate (he didnt get very far bc he felt guilty) but in general was sort of a rogueish figure for a while. he fell in with the thieves guild for a bit, which ended up getting him in big trouble, so now he's gone semi-straight. he joined up with the bards college and is going through the college of winterhold after recently becoming thane of haafingar. he and val serano are married and live in solitude with ravani and sofie from windhelm.

finally!

raiia! raiia is the youngest and was spoiled rotten by her siblings because they never wanted her to feel like she's unloved. she never wanted to be a burden so she always did her best to help out, but was so loved and cared for she became a little spoiled. she's hot headed and a bit rude but is fiercely passionate about the freedom of life and how no one should be caged. she's the youngest ever harbinger of the companions and thane of whiterun. she had a fling with aela the huntress but ended up falling in love with ashe. she travels around with a fat chicken and an armored mudcrab named mr. pinchy. she lives in breezehome when she's not adventuring with her adoptive daughter lucia. she may adopt someone else but i haven't decided who!

slenderman targets whoever the operator took control of so he can """save""" them (moreso redirect them..) tim, brian, toby, and kate focus purely on keeping cryptids within the forest + humans out of it. tim brian and toby will also seek out people in nearby cities/counties who are way too into the paranormal and will stalk them, scare them off, steal their evidence, etc. they only kill people if necessary (but toby and kate are guilty of getting carried away when its totally not necessary) natalie started by treating it as a form of 'therapy' and related it back to her childhood abuse, so prob wealthier abusive men/older boys.. but she's kinda having like a terrifying revelation of how fucked up she's making her life so .

jack doesn't kill (he takes what jeff and others bring him) BUT if they're not bringing him anything for a long time, he'd target grown/tall adults cuz. more meat.. bigger organs.. lasts longer. some weird logic (and he feels less guilty if theyre like middle age)

sally doesnt desire and isnt capable of killing, but she will sometimes haunt houses with newborn babies . jus cuz she likes babies and thinks shes protecting them even tho it scares the living shit out of the families

ben also doesn't kill but he HAUNTS THE FUUUCK out of people. usually kids/teens cuz its funnier that way and nobody believes them. he's literally just an internet troll jeff targets women and girls mostly.. he just thinks theyre more fun to chase plus ''''objectively easier to kill'''' and he isn't exactly the epitome of health and strength liu(+sully) jane and nina don't and haven't killed anybody. liu is trying to repress, sully is trying to get shit figured out, jane wants jeff in prison, and nina is just chronically online and got caught stalking liu so she got roped into their problems + eventually the operator

ok i 100% get you and i know you didn’t ask for advice here but i’m going to give you some anyways and if you don’t want it or you think it’s bad advice then just ignore it

i was a big reader when i was a kid and IRONICALLY when i started taking adderall (i was like 13) my ability to read for fun just went away completely (not to sound like a boomer but social media probably also contributed to this) and when i stopped taking adderall at like 20 that was one of the big things i decided i wanted to get back and it literally felt like i was reteaching myself reading comprehension as well as just How To Enjoy Reading Again lol

one thing i did was go back and reread all of my favorite books from when i was 11, like every chapter book i could remember that i liked as a kid (twilight was on this list but other than that they were books for elementary/early middle schoolers) and just kind of had to force myself to not be embarrassed that i was an adult reading books for kids bc hey at least i was trying!! and if you weren’t a reader when you were a kid either then i need to remind you of this: Librarians Exist and they Want To Help You!!! go to the library and ask them for recommendations on books for people who aren’t necessarily “readers” and i’m sure you will leave with some great ideas

and then another thing was that my phone had to be out of my sight. preferably in the other room on silent

i also learned what environments were best for me to read in and honestly it’s so weird but for me, i was able to do so much reading at bars? i do really well when i’m surrounded by people and people mostly leave you alone if they see you at a bar/restaurant table by yourself reading a book lol so maybe it would be nice to figure out what that is for you!

and this kind of goes hand-in-hand with the library thing but if possible, you should find a book club near you and join it. there’s so many specific kinds of books clubs out there (my friend is in one where they only read fantasy smut books) and you don’t have to participate in the discussion if you don’t want to! sometimes listening to other people discuss the book that i’m reading helps me understand it more! if there’s no in-person book clubs around you, look for some online!!!

also i know there’s people who will make you think that listening to an audiobook doesn’t count as reading and i am going to just let you know that those people are Stupid and Wrong! end of story!

and also just remember that you are (i’m assuming?) an adult, it’s not like you’re getting graded on reading for fun or anything! i know that this whole culture that’s happening rn with booktok and bookstagram and people who have crazy reading goals and finish a book every day is really intimidating so i avoid that! i follow some ig accounts for book recs but i’m not paying any mind to the wealthy unemployed 22 year olds who are able to spend their whole days reading lol. just give it a shot and you’re allowed to not finish a book if you’re not enjoying/understanding it!! but if you want to be a reader you just have to try!!! ❤️❤️❤️

tbh i don’t have anything specific that i stick to when it comes to writing… which when i think about it now is kinda strange bc when it comes to other things i always have to have some kind of plan/a list or anything that can guide me so i can be more efficient and productive, but when it comes to writing i just make sure to ALWAYS write down any ideas that come to mind in one document, and when i’m in the mood to write i go through them and pick whatever sparks my creativity in that moment and go from there (yall have no idea how many random conversations i have in my notes that just sit there 🫣)

i’m a mood writer 100% and that’s why i avoid sticking to plans or schedules or i will just get burnt out very quickly if i have to work on something that doesn’t excite me as much as other ideas that day, or if i don’t feel like writing at all, cause i have those days too ofc

i know it’s easier said than done, but don’t ever feel bad or guilty for taking your time with your works!! we’re here to create and have fun, so your own enjoyment and health comes first. try out different creative approaches, see how you’d feel and do what works best for you! i’ve realised that i write easier when i don’t stick to one particular thing/process, but i’m sure there are many ppl who are totally the opposite. don’t be hard on yourself okay, your readers will understand and will still enjoy what you put out <3

i’m rambling now, but i’m gonna share one more thing in case it helps someone? for me the beginning of the story is always challenging and i’ve realised that starting with a dialogue helps me get into it. most times i end up deleting it lol but just writing any kind of dialogue helps me start from somewhere, that’s something i always do if i get stuck on a specific part of the story too… music is also a must when i write! it keeps me inspired, sometimes it gives me ideas too, and i write easier and quicker when i listen to songs that have a similar vibe to what i’m working on

i dont know if this is connected to my adhd - it is highly possible - but for as long as i can remember, i almost always have some kind of abstract thought experiment running in my head, especially during conversations or when im just spacing out and thinking about smth else.

its abstract bc its stuff thats not rlly. important? a v common theme is f.ex. when i see my laptop or tv, where the exact veritkal or horizontal middle of the display is and i often also move my mouse cursor to the middle and etc. i just think about that, i look at the logos on the display or the laptop camera and keep thinking about it endlessly. there is not real goal, even after i figured out the middle line, i keep imagining it and thinking about it.

smtms its stuff i dont even know how to describe. i once thought about how you could add a styrofoam sphere to the corner of a table i think? like how to cut it, make it fit. idek if thats what it was but smth like that.

when i look at radiators, i keep trying to imagine the shadows "reversed" so that it looks like its sticking out opposite of how it is. thats maybe a bit of a more relatable thing so idk.

i smtms in grave detail try to figure out how to do a v useless thing, like how to cut smth in a specific way. i cannot think of any examples rn which is rlly frustrating but it essentially would be impractical in real life bc it has no purpose but the thought experiment is rlly intense and i think rlly intensly about how it can be done and i could technically do it irl in that specific way but it wouldnt be useful.

in the same way, if there is any pattern in front of me like on a blanket or tapestry, i think sooooo intensly about it. i remember i had a flamingo ikea blanket and as a kid i would spend so much time trying to think about how they printed on each color and how they would do it, on and on and on. i still do that bc i still have that blanket and i just keep staring at it smtms.

i remember there is this one show or movie? about an autistic woman who revolutionized how cows are being kept and handled and how she was diagnosed as a child. as her mom and the doctor talked, she stared at the tapestry and would kind of understand the pattern of said tapestry. for me i think? its less about pattern understanding (i think) but more about like analyzing it and i remember when i saw this i was so surprised bc i do stuff like this all the time in my head. just having these weird hypotheticals or analyzing things most of the time.

smtms it is also about real life, applicable things, f.ex. i once spend a lot of time trying to think about how to fix some pants bc the buttons kept popping off and i would just keep thinking about it. i eventually figured out a way but i didnt get to do it yet but kept looping in my head how i would do it, what i would need to buy and it just kept looping in my head essentially.

i also usually have an earworm and in the way it keeps playing parallel to my thoughts, its the same with these thoughts. it feels like a fidget toy for my thoughts - its not productive but deeply intriguing and keeps a part of me occupied.

it might v well be adhd but im not sure and id love to find some people who do smth similar? and hear their experiences!!!

As for the other questions, no, I have no crossovers. Mostly because I never can figure out what really becomes crossover territory, so I've simplified it into characters of two different whatever contacting each other.

Also not the right ask but I can't find the other one, I wouldn't say it's illegal to make fics with real people but I don't think I'd ever do it. Like a character is, not real so it's fine for me, but real people-- not for me. I don't do erotic or smutty or inappropriate things, but I wouldn't make fics of a real person, alive or dead. Probs wouldn't read them either, but that's just me. As for the celebs fic thing-- they're still human I think, no? It's not my cup of tea, but I also don't have that kind of liking, not sure if its the right word, for any celebs. Like sure watch their vids and interviews or movies or whatever, but really that it (FOR ME)

There's PF and good but protective Black family. Honestly half hoping someone tells me to not call it Young Sheldon bc I'm pretty sure that's not the point of the show at all.
