Pictures from my neighborhood.
Cool clouds at 8:30am.
The beaver dam on the creek across the street.
And finally clouds in the sky at midnight.

Beaver Dam Diaries: Inside the Life of a Busy Beaver Builder
Beaver, scientifically known as Castor Canadensis, is an industrious rodent. It’s not just cute and cuddly (though they’re that too!), they are also skill architects, famous for their astounding feat of engineering – beaver dam. Just envision a sprawling network of sticks, stones and mud, crafted to transform babbling brooks into tranquil ponds. That’s merely a glance into the enthralling realm of beaver dam. Let’s dig deep into their life – from evolution to conservation status.

I mentioned not too long ago, that this is what happens when people buy a church or school to convert and don't have the means or expertise to do it professionally. It didn't turn out as they envisioned, so they give up and put it up for sale. This is a 1916 church in Beaverdam, Ohio. The description says it has 2bds, and 2ba, but that can definitely change with a new buyer. Priced at $235K.
Entrance lobby with a wide opening and accordion doors.
In the main space they've arranged a living room set in front of the altar pews and placed a board with an old altar cloth on it to make a TV stand.
That's all there is in the vast main body of the church. The altar is still standing and judging by the original carpet, faded where the pews once were, it would be very costly to do new flooring of any kind. A couple of the original pews are along the side walls.
There's low book shelving on the altar, which can be expanded on, to either make a kitchen or family room. Can you imagine having to heat this vast empty space? No wonder they're selling. That may be something they didn't consider- the utilities on a place this big.
I'm sure that the mezzanine and stairs were here. I don't know if the owners built the "rooms," or if they were here as offices, etc.
Taking advantage of the cubicles, they made the 2 bedrooms that are in the description.
The middle one is set up as an office.
And, they turned the last one into a bath.
I can't tell- they may have put up the walls to make the cubicles. Anyway, there are another 3 on the 2nd level.
These are the other bedrooms and they've hung rods for curtains in the large openings, both upstairs and down.
Stairs to the basement.
Down in the huge, open basement. What is in that cage? Looks like a very large bird.
They have a kitchen table and a bedroom set up in the corner.
There are some cabinets, but not a kitchen.
It looks like they're using the former church kitchen as their kitchen.
There's a serving window and maybe heat lamps? Notice how worn the floor is.
Half bath down here.
Plus storage.
The front is cute with lattices on both sides of the door and it looks like they planted a garden and put up a chicken wire fence surrounding the property. Also, looking at the front, there has to be a cool bell tower inside.
The carpet on the those stairs has to go.
For the price it's a very large brick building. I wonder if there are fireplaces attached to the 2 big chimneys.
The listing doesn't give the square footage of the lot, but it's gigantic.
Cute brick BBQ needs redoing. Seriously, it's a large property with a lot of potential, for $235K, but the buyer will have to have some money set aside to fix it up.

ABDENSHORE, Brindleton Bay (SNN) - - The Queen and Queen Mother attended a wedding last weekend, during their final week of summer vacation. This is the wedding of Lady Joan of Hastings, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Hastings, and second cousin of Queen Katherine I, to Lord Francis Cross.
Along with the Queen and other members of her family, Joan spent her summer holidays at Beaverdam. Interviewed by the “Simmyy Mail” on the occasion of the Queen’s Ascension in March 2023, Joan spoke of the Queen’s love for her extended family. Joan also discussed the Queen’s wonderful sense of humor, and that of the Queen Mother's.

My Harry Potter OCs <3
I didn't intend to share old(er) artpieces, but I'll do it anyways since a lot of work went in for so many of them.
Harry Potter is my absolute safespace, it's giving me comfort, always. It had taken a big place in 2021 for me (the first time I ever watched it lol) and whenever something really catches me, I have to create a OC.
My lovely Alicia here (with my cat that sadly passed away -> I put her in (before) so she'll always be kind of alive <3) got created and she's literally the cutest Q_Q..
Alica Beaverdam
*Later on she marries Ron Weasley and her last name changes to Weasley. They'll have three kids.
I wrote a lot of ideas down for the story. I was obsessing with a friend together back then and we thought, it would be a good idea to write along with EVERY movie, but agreed on putting book things in too. I have no clue what it'll be in the end, but it's way too much work x-x..
And because I worked on the story, I had to create a family. I added a big brother for Alicia, who ended up being friends with the pranksters Fred and George (my friends favourite was George).. So I had to think of another whole character, since he was now a bigger part in her story too..
Winston Beaverdam
I'll never forget how I merged Johnny Depp and Hyunjin from Stray Kids on Faceapp together and the result was he FHSKUFKA
*Later on he's married to Hermione Granger, her last name changes to Beaverdam and they'll have two kids.
I don't know what else to add here honestly, so uhh...

went kayaking with my poor boomer father a few weeks back. Please spare a thought for him, because as we were navigating a couple of beaverdams I referred to our tactic as "the new meta" and I have never seen a more profound combination of confusion and despair cross that man's face in my life.

Hey, looking tondraw some desert. Got any cool looking areas you'd care to share?
The short answer is I know of about 500 places within 150 miles radius of me that you'd love. But since I can't throw down that many pics I'll cover some dramatic ones.
Bryce Canyon - just outside the mojave boundaries, higher elevation that the others on the list. Absolutely insane geology where people have wandered in and never been found. Hell of a place to lose a cow.
Zion canyon - the big one. Oh sure Grand canyon is larger but less dramatic. Zion has it all. World's deadliest hike at Angel's Landing where at one point you have about 2 1/2 feet of stone to walk on and sheer cliffs on either side of you. Then you have water carved tubes that regularly flood when it rains killing people inside. It's a crazy place.
Too open? Well try Antelope Canyon in Arizona. A slot canyon you've seen before in movies like Indiana Jones and the last crusade. From the top looks like a crack in the rock. From below it's what happens when wind goes nuts over half a million years. When in looking up you barely see the sky.
Need more space? Gooseberry Mesa is just south of Zion canyon and houses dramatic mesa views.
Want sand? Well we got you covered. Sand Hollow is a group of dunes and water with Sand Mountain which is if course a mountain of sandstone worn into dunes and on the back side of Sand Mountain are a set if Jurassic era dinosaur footprints. Sand Hollow is the most popular recreation spot not only in the Mojave but in the south western us. It's incredibky easy to access. Sees thousands of people per day and has some of the best atv trails and fishing.
Too much sand? Well you can dial it back at my backyard just under Pine Mountain called Silver Reef & Red Cliffs Reserve. Littered with a ton of abandoned mines plus boasting some of the highest concentrations of Mojave desert creatures it's easier going than some places but still rugged.
But I'm at my photo limit so here are some other areas close to me.
Arizona I-15 gorge
Black Rock Mesa
Beaverdam wash
Kolob Canyon
Snow Canyon
Hurricane Mesa
Hurricane Cliffs
Honeymoon trail
Moki Cavern
Anything near Kanab Utah
Anything near Freedonia Arizona
Anything near St. George Utah
Sky Ridge
Fossil Ridge
Glitter Mountain
Mountain Meadows (yes. THAT mountain meadows)
Coral Pink Sand Dunes
The Virgin River
And about 480 more places
