She gets upset when Karlach tries to talk about the end, so I also think she uses their nights out as a distraction from the reality. She'll lose all her worries in Karlachs smile and order another round

Reading up on walkable cities, and honestly, based on definitions I’m finding, I can see how it’d be really good for someone who can’t drive, or has mental illnesses that makes driving hard or impossible (me). But the definition is really in the name (despite what some people have said) and I think it puts people with physical disabilities on the wayside. A walkable city is by definition a city with less cars, less transit, and well, more walking. Many articles say it’s about wellness as well. But what about me? I have a back injury, both my ankles are injured, I have severe asthma and lung scarring, and I have a heart condition. Would that make me well? Nope! So what would I be able to do in these cities?

It is weird to say that I’d benefit from a city with this model, but also wouldn’t benefit at the same time. As always though, disabled people are not a monolith and we all have different needs. I don’t hate walkable cities. I’m just not sure how they’d be good for me personally. I am glad for those who are helped by walkable cities.
