The 'who is the most masculine mbr of Gene' results are even more skewed that the kindest mbr ones were 😂 Literally half of the votes went to two people. 11 votes to Reo, which means he wins both kindest and most masculine, and 8 votes to Ryuto. Mandy wins 3rd place with 7 votes.
Ryota - damn. Boy nearly finished with 0 votes. His only vote was one of the last three shown. He was getting desperate as more and more RMPG mbrs went by without voting for him 😂 (they finish on RMPG, so at that point, he had already gone without any votes from PsyFe, Balli, or FANTA)

Why I am being an asshole about accommodations on Tumblr I was born in 1970 and I was diagnosed with learning disabilities in 1976 when I entered school. I know that whoever is reading this probably doesn't know this, but it was rare to test children in the 70’s, so in that way I am super privileged.
It also means that when my teachers were screaming at me and calling me retarded, I knew they were the ones with the problem.
It also means that I grew up with no accommodations.
To this day I will do huge workarounds so I never have to tell people about my issues. I will work in one font and change it back for neurotypicals.
The world isn’t made for me - I get that.
I need a dark serif font on a white background to read digitally. I get that is unpopular but it is what I need.
And there is a law that says I should get accommodations - but places don’t generally care about that. I know, I am working on getting the museum I work for into full compliance with the ADA right now, so I recognize that it is a complicated issue, but it isn’t like the law is some mystery.
When friends told me I should come back to tumblr because the fandom I am in is big on Tumblr I was leary. I had already tried Tumblr two times, and could not get either the app or the website dashboard to be readable and had to delete my account.
I even had to leave a fandom that fully transitioned to Tumblr.
But I was told - that new people were in charge. That the people in charge are responsive and have made it the best site for people who need accessibility.
What I found was a site that was exactly the same.
I need a dark serif font on a white background to read digitally. I get that is unpopular but it is what I need.
For a few months, (from March to July) the app allowed me to use the settings on my cell phone, but that disappeared with the July update. It looks like the app completely broke for many android users at that time.
At that point I had to start liking posts, copying them into a word processor, changing them into a font I can read and then reblog or whatever.
I wasn’t expecting abuse over the way I have to use your site, because you can’t provide reasonable accommodations.
Again I need a dark serif font on a white background to read digitally. I get that is unpopular but it is what I need.
In March I was asked to give @humans and @staff my suggestions to make this site accessible and I did. I haven’t heard anything from either account, not even that you got them.
When I complained about the fact that I no longer could use the system default on the app. I was told to put in a service ticket.
I did - the one that got responded to told me to use “true blue” because you don’t really need a serif font I guess?
Then I was told to change my theme, but that doesn't do anything for my dash.
Then Vampire or Pumpkin - I can read about every other word with them.
But most of the responses over the past three months have really come off as “we didn't offer that because people don’t need that” or show a deep ignorance of how your site works.
Why am I not walking away from this, when I have over and over again in the past?
Because you should be as good as people say you are.
Because twitter is about to die, and I have time on my hands.
Because Ilitterally can not hear about what an awesome and responsive site, staff you are when I have spent most of a year trying to fix this.
Because I have been called an idiot all of my life, so I can keep at you until you are accessible for other people who need reasonable accommodations that you don’t offer and will just walk away, the way I have in the past.
I mean maybe that is what you want. Maybe you want anything that isn’t fixed by dark mode to walk away.
Thanks,

Now that Eurovision is over, I want you all, especially the Americans, to take a good hard look at how the voting results turned out when people boycotted the event.
In the UK, the viewing figures were down about 2 million people compared to last year. Up to 2 million people made the conscious decision to not watch and not vote because of Israel's inclusion.
The final results of the public vote, Israel came in first place in the UK and got 12 points. Because the only people watching and voting were people who backed Israel or at least didn’t care one way or another.
This doesn't matter. It's a music contest. The boycott was still the right thing to do because it is just a show at the end of the day, and the viewing figures have more impact than the results.
But it is also a good object lesson to show you what happens if you boycott a vote over something that does matter. Choosing not to vote in, let's say, a presidential election will have similar results.
