How does the character picture himself/herself? - She doesn’t see or view herself as the legend she is slowly becoming. She’s very humble and feels as though she is at the bottom of the ladder when it comes to anything she does. There is always room for improvement. How do others see him/her? - One of the best Demon Slayers there are out there, many people are fame struck when the come meet her because she is from a long demon slayer that dates back to some of the earliest centries of human culture and society. This causes her and Van to move a lot.

Most valued possession: - The rapier sword that she was gifted too by her father as he died from a fatal wound during a battle with a demon. It is the same rapier sword that she used to kill said demon that murdered her father.

Is he/she motivated by possibility or necessity? - Necessity. She knows that she is needed because there are so few people left on the planet with gifts like hers ((I.e Magical abilities)) How does he/she view the future and/or the past? - Sage thinks there is a grim future for humanity and has little faith in those around her. She tries not to think about the past either but uses it as motivation to keep moving forward. What is his/her philosophy on life and death? - She fears death more than anything, only because she doesn’t know what kind of afterlife she will have. Sage doesn’t think death is the end, and believe there is life beyond death. She wants to live as long as she can, possibly growing old with Van. What kind of energy level do they usually have? Sleepy and depressed. She’s not a bubbly person and is very serious and stoic and quiet.

Does he/she have a temper? Yes but only if you push her to the edge or if she’s been cornered in some way.

By herself What is his/her sexual preference/experience/values? - Sage is bisexual, monogamous, and demisexual. Before she married Vanderlinde she dated both men and women. She doesn’t sleep around and find causal sex repulsive ((for her, she doesn’t care what other people do with their sex lives)) -History/Background- - Sage was born from a Japanese mother and a German father. She was born in Japan but her family moved around every few years due to being members of a secret society dedicated to exterminating demons. Her mother is still alive however her father died when she was 17 years old in a fatal battle with a Demon. - She has spent almost her entire life working for a secret society of demon slayers, which she took on as a full-time job after her father died. - Sage has an older half brother named Kael, they share the same mother but a different father. - She received formal schooling through the secret soceity she worked for. She was able to still get her high school education while traveling around the world to slay demons. - She met Vanderlinde when she was 20 years old and after just moving to the United States. Vanderlinde was a priest at the time and Sage had just enrolled in university for a chemistry degree. They quickly fell in love and Sage welcomed Vanderlinde into her secret society with open arms and Vanderlinde happily joined.

He is not a fighter and doesn’t enjoy fighting, he’d rather run away defend himself or those around him. This often leads people to say he is cowardly. He began to question his faith when the Priest he looked up to had passed away. - Around 18 years old Vanderlinde left the orphanage and went on a soul searching journal across the United State. He was homeless during this time as he traveled cross country, drinking, doing drugs and learning about all different types of faith. When he turned 20 he turned back to the Church and became a priest for the next five years. - He met Sage when he was 25, she was 20 at the time. Because she was a pagan witch, Vanderlinde was punished for getting himself involved with her. At the same time, he also got in trouble for researching other religions other than Christianity. He chose to renounce his priesthood and left the church because he did not agree with their rules. After that, Vanderlinde worked towards becoming a professor at the local university where he could freely research and teach others - After he fell in love with Sage, Vanderlinde joined her secret society, more than happy to join a cause he believed in and was willing to fight for.

Jedi Cats AU

Y’all ready for this shit? An AU where Obi Wan Kenobi has to look after some cats while he’s doing Jedi Stuff. These four cats are: Anakin, Qui Gon, Padme, and Ahsoka. 

It’s kinda like a modern au at the same time, purely because I’m thinking of the dumb shit that cats do in this day and age… but like,, the Jedi order still out there doin’ Jedi things…

For now it’s just the Jedi but I may also make a post containing information about Palpatine’s cats. If I do any more posts for this au I’ll just use the tag ‘jedi cats au’

Anyway, the details are under the cut, enjoy! 

Obi Wan Kenobi  - himb human  -  he’s very tired from looking after these troublesome cats while being a Jedi - “I’m sorry Master Windu I must rush home and attend to some important business” *rushes home and finds Anakin staring out the window into the back garden meowing angrily at Dooku* “*sigh* Anakin...” - if the mission isn’t going to be that dangerous but requires him to be gone for a while, then he’ll bring the cats with him - “Master Kenobi, do you really have to bring all them with you?”  *with Anakin clawing his way up Obi Wan’s leg and Qui Gon prowling across his shoulders* “yes, Master Windu”  - constantly has to stop his cats from fighting with his neighbour’s cats (especially after Qui Gon got a nasty clawing from Maul one time): Dooku, Grievous and Maul, even though Obi Wan isn’t particularly fond of those cats himself - said neighbour is a seemingly friendly old man called Palpatine, who all of Obi Wan’s cats seem to like, especially Anakin - he’s so tired,, blease let himb rest - will often fall asleep on the sofa by accident, and then will wake up to find Qui Gon in his lap and Anakin on his face, while Padme and Ahsoka are on the sofa and pressed up against his legs - “Anakin nO” - often looks to both Qui Gon and Padme to help with the other two - have I told you how tired this man is? 

Anakin Skywalker  - he a black cat, v slim and slender, has a slight bit of extra fur around his face, yellow eyes - you may only pet him when he wants to be petted, if you try and pet him when he does not wish to be touched you sHaLL fAcE tHe CLaWs oF dEaTH fOuL hUMaN - touch the tumby and YOU WILL DIE - try and touch the toe beans and YOU WILL DIE - very rarely purrs, except for when in the presence of Obi Wan, the only human who can pet him almost 24/7 - will always obey Qui Gon, will listen to Obi Wan most of the time, proteccs Padme and Ahsoka constantly  - quite playful, give him a droid toy and/or a lightsaber toy and he enters the Silly Zone - is the kind of cat that will stare at you straight in the eyes as he quickly pushes something breakable off the table - is very territorial and hates it when there are any other cats in the back garden, especially the neighbour’s cats  - although he actually likes the neighbour human Palpatine quite a lot, although Palpatine is not privileged enough for extra Anakin pets like Obi Wan is - a very loud cat, meows constantly and loudly, as well as hissing at those he doesn’t like and doing that fuckin ‘mmmmrrrrrrrooowwwwwowooww’ aggression noise  - is also a very active cat, is constantly running around the house and often goes for walks in the neighbourhood, mostly to get into scraps with other cats (this is how he got a scar over his right eye) - “Mrow!” “Anakin no it’s not time for food yet” “mrrrOW!” *sigh* “Anakin what did I say about arguing back?” “mrrOOWW!” “Anakin!”  - when he’s not running around being a nuisance, he’s cuddling up with Padme - often takes Ahsoka out with him on his adventures - when Obi Wan takes them on missions with him, Anakin is somehow more mischievous and disobedient than he normally is - will absolutely bring Obi Wan ‘presents’, all the time - a sharp and pointy boi who is also a fuckin dumbass

Qui Gon Jinn  - one of those cats with the super long fur, mega soft fur, soft green eyes, clearly used to be a brown tabby cat but has turned more grey with his age, a slender cat but himb big because he tol - old and wise cat that always has this knowing look in his eyes - do not be fooled by his calm appearance, he will fuck u up if he wants to - you may touch the tumby, but only if you are Obi Wan, otherwise you will die - try and touch the toe beans and you will die, unless you are Obi Wan, then you’re allowed to - will break shit and mess shit up when nobody's looking, then act like he didn’t do anything when they discover the mess… this mess is often blamed on Ahsoka or Anakin  - having said that, he is also the kind of cat that will slowly push something off of the table while remaining eye contact the whole time; he doesn’t do this with Obi Wan though, Obi Wan must not see his crimes - when is brought on missions with Obi Wan, will also be more mischievous than normal, but Obi Wan never knows this - “Master Kenobi! One of your cats broke something again!” “Oh no, really? I bet it was Anakin, hey Anakin!” “Is Anakin this grey-brown fluffy one?” “No? That’s Qui Gon, he would never break anything” “well he just did” “what?” - all of the other cats respect him greatly, even Palpatine’s cats  - he must protecc his human at all costs, as well as the other cats, Obi Wan can’t help but feel slightly flattered at the fact that one of his cats is so willing to protect him - he may be a cat but Himb Still Dad - a calm and relaxed cat, likes to lounge in the sun, and will make that little ‘mrrrp?’ noise whenever he is awoken - not really that playful, will just sit and watch the human do silly shit in an attempt to try and play with him - most of the time he is relatively quiet, gently purrs when he is petted - himb soft and smart

Padme Amidala  - a pretty, white cat with piercing blue eyes, she very elegant - will allow most people to pet her, unless she knows that they’re Not Nice and will therefore take a swipe at them (this is the same for the tummby and the toe beans)  - Obi Wan and Anakin want her to stay inside as like,, an indoor cat, but she wiLL nOt bE cOnFiNEd - most of the time the noises she makes are relatively soft and quiet, unless she’s fuckin angry then she’s loud and constantly making noise - you can tell when her and Anakin are having a spat because there’s a constant stream of very loud angry cat noises that drown out some slightly fearful loud cat noises - overall is a very well behaved cat, respects Obi Wan and doesn’t break anything - when encountering Palpatine’s cats, she doesn’t make any noise, she just glares at them (which is somehow more scary and intimidating than Anakin’s constant stream of aggressive noises) - she probably won’t, but everyone knows that she has the power to kill them at any moment - is the best behaved out of all of the cats  - her fur is somehow constantly clean and perfectly groomed, Obi Wan doesn’t groom her more often than the other cats and whenever her and Anakin go out together, Anakin always comes back dirty with his fur in a mess but Padme will still be pristine - if Obi Wan takes her on a mission with him (which he doesn’t really want to do but sometimes he has no other choice) she is on her best behaviour, she’ll snoop around if she has the chance to but she won’t actually cause any trouble, unlike Anakin and Qui Gon - only plays when she’s in the mood, doesn’t go quite as crazy as Anakin does, but she can get quite into playtime - she soft and elegant but has the potential to be sharp and pointy

Ahsoka Tano  - the smallest of the cats, a bright ginger tabby cat with a white tummy and white paws, bright green eyes - she’s also the youngest of the cats, still has a vague kitten look about her - highly energetic and literally will not stop moving, constantly goes outside, often with Anakin - will let most people pet her, but only if she’s in the mood to be petted - do not underestimate this tiny kit, she may be inexperienced but she can and will fuck you up… although on occasion she does have to be rescued by Anakin or Qui Gon - Ahsoka: gets into a fight with Palpatine’s cats and takes on more than she can handle Qui Gon: feels his dad cat sense tingling and goes to rescue her, must protecc the smol at all costs - is the same as Anakin when it comes to territory, and will do the same shit as him if she sees any unwelcome cats in the back garden, except she’ll also claw at the window - very impatient with everything *insert let me in meme here* - she breaks shit, but most of the time it is actually accidental, she very rarely causes destruction on purpose - if taken on one of Obi Wan’s missions she’ll try her best to be behaved but she just can’t help but get into trouble - has a lot of respect for Obi Wan and the other cats, but much like Anakin she can’t help but not follow the rules sometimes - fuckin’ LOVES to be played with, she’s down for that shit anytime and will often enter the Silly Zone - has a loud and high pitched meow, will make noises frequently, so much so that Obi Wan sometimes just has to put his face in his hands and focus on drowning her constant meowing out - she must ZOOM at 3am most nights and will not stop until she has no more energy left - a very sharp and pointy smol that is not to be underestimated

Double Date

“Momo.”

Yaoyorozu Momo glanced up from her cell phone when she heard her name being called, her face lighting up when she spotted her boyfriend approaching her, his red-and-white hair falling into his face, a black button down shirt hugging his muscled form, the top two buttons strategically undone. He shoved his hands in his jean pockets and stopped in front of her, her own red skirt and fitted black turtleneck a welcome sight.

Yaoyorozu smiled at him, and took a step so she was close enough to press a kiss to where his craggled scar met smooth skin—her way of soothing what hurt him most. “Shoto. You made it.”

They stood in front of a door into an apartment, both frowning curiously.

“Whose apartment is this?” Todoroki asked.

“I’m not sure. But this is the address Uraraka-san gave me when she invited us over for dinner,” Yaoyorozu replied, playing with a ponytail on her left wrist, wondering if she should put her long black mane into its signature ponytail. She felt a hand on her back and Todoroki shook his head.

“Leave it down. You look beautiful,” he said, and then broke eye contact, his words minimal but always somehow right for the moment. She smiled and knocked on the door, and jumped when she thought she heard someone yelling at them from within.

“That voice sounds familiar,” Todoroki said with suspiciously hiked eyebrow.

“Uraraka-san said tonight was a secret but also very important. She told me not to tell any of the girls, and to remind you not to tell Midoriya-san,” Yaoyorozu replied, looking down at her phone in confirmation.

“I got that text,” he offered. “I didn’t.”

Yaoyorozu quirked her lips to the side, thoughtfully. “But why—“

She was cut off by the door being yanked open and angry red eyes staring down at her, and she noted the bandage just above them. The owner of them ‘tch’ed and quirked his chin up, coldly, but stepped out of the way. “Get in here. Ochako is in the shower. She didn’t want to shower at her parents’ ‘cause she was running late.”

Both Yaoyorozu and Todoroki stood there, confused and suspicious, and Bakugou rolled his eyes.

“Will you hurry the hell up?! It’s fuckin’ cold!”

They shuffled inside and Bakugou scoffed and closed the door behind them before trailing back into the kitchen to check on dinner.

Yaoyorozu looked at her boyfriend. “You don’t think they’re—?”

“Dating. Obvious,” Todoroki murmured, matter-of-factly, glancing around the apartment. “It explains the unknown apartment. It must be Bakugou’s new apartment that the agency assigned him. The paparazzi don’t know where it is yet.”

“I suppose it also explains why Uraraka made it a point to tell the media she wasn’t dating Midoriya,” Yaoyorozu added, crossing his arms over her ample chest. “Even if Bakugou and Uraraka are dating, it would definitely grate strongly on Bakugou if the media was still saying she was Midoriya’s girl. In fact, I’m almost mad we didn’t figure it out sooner.”

Todoroki smirked at her. “Some top students we are, hm?”

“You’re here!”

Both sets of eyes turned when Uraraka approached them, smiling widely, wrapped in a cute pink sweater dress and a gray cardigan. “Katsu let you in; good. I’m guessing you probably figured it out by now.”

Two nods. “At least now I know why you told me to tell Shoto to keep it to himself.” Yaoyorozu smiled. “So....Bakugou, huh?”

Uraraka blushed, her round cheeks tinting pinker than her dress as she shrugged and grinned. “He’s actually....a really good boyfriend. You know, he still has his rough edges but he’s so....sweet. In a Bakugou way.”

“Kuso! Ochako!” Bakugou growled as he brought a tray of drinks out for everyone. “Don’t fuckin’ ruin my reputation. Especially with Hot-Cold here—I can still kick your ass, IcyHot bastard.” He sneered at Todoroki. “In fact, I’ll kick your ass harder now just to make myself look fuckin’ strong in front of my girl!”

Todoroki angled his eyes downward in a reverse sort of eye-roll, as if to brush the exploding hero off, his eyebrows twitching, and Uraraka touched her boyfriend’s arm.

“Katsu, they’re guests,” she said, and kissed his cheek, and Yaoyorozu smiled to herself when the angry man visibly softened and shrugged.

“Kch, Fine. Kick your ass later, Icyhot,” Bakugou mumbled, glancing down at Uraraka. She smiled and pecked his lips, and Yaoyorozu giggles at the affection between them, which caused Bakugou to growl at her.

Todoroki folded his arms over his chest and shook his head. “You clearly aren’t used to having a girlfriend, Bakugou-san.”

“Whatever. Dinner’s almost ready, dammit,” he mumbled, and kissed the top of Uraraka’s head before snapping his jaws at the other two and disappearing into the kitchen again.

Uraraka and Yaoyorozu locked eyes and both started laughing and Todoroki stood nearby, arms tucked against his chest, glancing toward the kitchen with an almost indiscernible smirk.

“Yaomomo.” Uraraka looked up at her friend as the girls washed the dinner dishes together, glancing up from the soapy water to look at her. “Todoroki-san is a very active hero at his father’s agency, right?”

“Mm. He works very closely with Endeavor; not that it’s his favorite thing ever but he gets good field experience,” Yaoyorozu replied as she dried the dishes that Uraraka washed.

“Do you—does he ever get hurt?”

“Yeah. Yes. Why?”

Uraraka glanced back down at the dishes. “How do you deal with it?”

Yaoyorozu frowned, and then recalled the bandage on Bakugou’s forehead. “I remember seeing the news footage about that fight. If Bakugou’s boss hadn’t stepped in, that villain might’ve killed him.”

Uraraka squeaked unhappily.

Yaoyorozu’s eyes widened. “B-But he wasn’t! He—is he okay?”

Uraraka nodded. “But I don’t know how to convince him not to be so reckless. He failed the first year licensing exam because of it...it was only Aizawa-sensei’s guidance and punishment that mellowed him enough to finally pass but he gets inside his own head and just starts—“

She glanced up when she realized she was starting to make the dishes float, having lost herself in her own thoughts. “Oh. Release.” She caught the dishes and set them aside with a sigh. “You don’t have anything to say about the fact I’m dating Bakugou Katsuki in the first place?”

Yaoyorozu snorted. “Oh. A lot. But it’s your life. Your choice. You spent a lot of time with Bakugou-san when you weren’t with Midoriya and Iida. If you saw something in him....it’s your right to explore that.”

Uraraka nodded again, glancing down thoughtfully.

Todoroki sipped from his mug, and then glanced at Bakugou. “You know you can’t hurt her, right?”

“I know,” Bakugou replied, his voice more even than usual as he glanced toward the back window, white porcelain touching his lips.

“Because if you do, the entirety of class 1A wil line up tol kill you.”

“Yep.”

“Starting,” Todoroki began, voice ripe with warning, “with Midoriya.”

Bakugou’s eyes darkened, but he took another sip of dark coffee. “I know.” Finally, he placed his cup down and glared at Todoroki. “But I got no damn plans to hurt her. She’s—“

Todoroki held up a hand in silent understanding. Despite the hot-cold hero’s even-keeled demeanor, the two were the most alike. Words didn’t always define what was most important. And he didn’t need Bakugou to explain.

He understood. Because he had Momo. And Bakugou had Uraraka. And some things just were.

And though both were tense and slightly uncomfortable, as they heard their girlfriends laughing from within the kitchen, they had to admit, it wasn’t all bad. Anything to make those women happy.

To me, it’s not about having a partner. Actually, loving someone regardless of romantic feelings is way more important, in my opinion. These things can co-exist, and loving a friend is just as important loving a lover.

The lack of it can hurt, especially being forced out of it. But feeling love? I don’t know. It’s one of the most beautiful feelings ever. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by it.

This includes their personalities and sexualities/romantic....ities. I don’t know the world. (I got very tired around the end I’m v sorry, plus some of the characters haven’t been fully developed. My friend has helped me write a few of their personalities and she knows a few of them better than I as she wrote them out more.)

Heatblast - A flirt who has a sweet side, but fails to show it. Unintentionally like Heath Burns from Monster High, but he's often successful. Essentially, he's a mix of Heath Burns and Lance McClain. He's a goofball, but is a kind, caring guy underneath his flirty, 'charming' exterior. Along with that, he's bi! (Although, I should clarify, I know bi people are not all Lance McClains, they're all their own people, just as Heatblast is. Heatblast and Swampfire share a joke of fiery romantic passion, as I figured having the two fire-guys being as such would provide comedic relief)

Diamondhead - Calm, monotone, responsible, and mature. He's one of the few who acts as a leader, but tends to be the one to make more domestic deicisions. Such as who will be in charge of what sort of chores or something like that. Kind of like the mom from Coraline, the normal one, not the other mother. Also less . . . neglectful. He's married to Four Arms in the Guardian AU, but is only dating him in the high school au and TCFTO.

XLR8 - Energetic as can be, often thinks of himself as an edgy, scary raptor, but in reality . . . he's quite the opposite. Like a mashup of Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. Often, he is paired with Cannonbolt, who's the only one able to handle the Kinecelaren's sugar highs. An important thing to keep in mind: never give the dude any coffee. Ever. Another good comparison is Gregg from Night In The Woods. (Also he’s gay/ace!!)

Grey Matter - The most responsible out of everyone, and the most intelligent, especially techwise. He's often the one to come up with any battle plans, and usually best to go to to get educational help without petty comments. Also aroace. We deserve representation.

Four Arms - Unintentionally similar to @thisunknowngenius 's interpretations of him. He's angered easily, but finds comfort in those close to him. He's one of the oldest out of all of his friends, and 'takes repsonsibhility' in everyone. Quote on quote.

Ripjaws - Kind of like the common conception of a gamer, or like a mix of Markiplier and Cr1tikal. Has his moments of rage, but otherwise often seems like he's relaxed or lowkey deosn't really care about much of anything. That is until he becomes a victim of pranks, or Ghostfreak is around. They tend to not get along well. He’s straight but like hasn’t found himself the right person yet. He’s gonna find her.

Wildvine - A relaxed dude, with a love for gardening, because although I suppose it can be considered predictable, it’s too cute not to have it be an interest of his. He’s softspoken, contrary to his voice, and often adds a bit of sensibility to the crazed situations the aliens often find themselves in. Like a strange mix of Treehugger and Twilight Sparkle from MLP. Just don’t mess up his plants . . .  he has a strange friendship with Ghostfreak. He’s panromantic and asexual. 

Upgrade - Not much of a social butterfly, but a sweet person regardless. He’s a bit of a pushover, but mainly with more . . . aggressive people. Otherwise he’s good at standing up for himself. He and Ghostfreak are dating, being polar opposites it’s unexpected, but their relationship grew due to that.

Ghostfreak - Best described as the cliche, edgy, Hot Topic employee. To a certain degree. Ghostfreak sees himself as mysterious, dark, and gloomy. Regardless of his love for cake. He also sorta kills criminals who commit awful crimes. Don’t...don’t worry about it. (Also he’s severely a big sweetheart but only Upgrade ((and his mom Ayano)) know shhhh)

Ditto - I really can’t word it . . . he’s a lot like reboot Ben. That’s the best way I can describe him. He’s doesn’t really feel any attraction towards anyone in a romantic or anything like that, but he loves his family sm.

Cannonbolt - An extreme yet pleasant contrast to XLR8. He’s calm, quiet, almost motherly. He has his moments of sort of spazzing out, but otherwise is quite relaxed. He’s also quite the talented cook. He loves his scaly bf.

Snare-Oh - A mix of Cleo De Nile and Rainbow Dash. He’s actually from a high class family in the Guardian and High School AU, but hates it, and finds it limiting to just be given what he wants. Regardless, he has a love and strong desire for shiny things. He loves shiny things. So much. Also big tsundere. Pan boy.

Frankenstrike - Reserved. He’s very often kept to himself, but he’s nice regardless. He acts as a voice of reason often, and is the only who has to drag his Halloween fangtastic friends. A fellow aroace buddy!

Blitzwolfer - Sleepy. Tired. Nice though. Good. Joins Ghosty and Snare-Oh’s hijinks for the hell of it. If you’re at all familiar with Soul from Soul Eater (mainly in the early part of the series), he’s a good comparison.

Way Big - Big soft. Shyyyyy. So shy. He’s so nice tho. But um. He’s self conscious about his tolness. Ironic, I know. Sweet tho. When he finds people he can get attached to, he gets much more comfortable around them, even cracking a few jokes here and there. He’s pan. Also!!! Really!!! Likes!!! Pokémon!!! Highly unrelated but worth mentioning!!!

Zen:

I’ve seen a lot of people suggest NPD but I personally disagree?

I don’t think Zen actually believes a damn word he says about how great he is, on any level. 

It’s 100% fake it til you make it. 

Only he figures he’ll never make it so he guesses he’ll just fake it forever ahahaha

And Zen shows literally zero trace of some of the other NPD criteria.

So, not NPD. And while he has at least a depressive episode in his route, I don’t think he has capital D depression either.

He obviously has his own issues that he struggles with, but I don’t know if any of them are like... diagnosable?

Although I did see someone (you can read the post HERE) say he could have Body Dismorphic Disorder, and I really liked their reasoning! But I’d never heard of that before so I can’t speak much on it myself.

Yoosung:

Yoosung has been diagnosed with both depression and anxiety

The RFA all practically forced him to see someone after Rika’s death. That’s when he was diagnosed and prescribed SSRIs. The medication helped a lot, and he’s doing a lot better now that he’s on them and has a therapist. 

I also headcanon that he has Borderline Personality Disorder.

I also headcanon that Yoosung feels kind of guilty about that one. 

Because like… his life is fine? Especially when he looks at people like the twins, who have gone through so much worse. He wasn’t abused or neglected as a child. He feels like he doesn’t have the right to be as “messed up” as he is?

He’s wrong, of course, obviously, his feelings and problems are valid too. But he can’t help how he feels.

But like Zen, while she does have her issues, I don’t know if I’d label any of them mental illnesses? She’d possibly be diagnosed with some kind of anxiety disorder, but I think her symptoms can be vastly improved with some encouragement and support from loved ones.

Jumin:

I headcanon him as autistic because I am a sheep

It’s clear he has issues with interacting with and understanding others, but it’s not because he’s uncaring or cruel, despite what others say about him. He’s obviously a very caring and kind person. He truly seems like he just… doesn’t understand sometimes. But he is willing to listen when people try to explain.

He’s trying, and he’s clearly learned to function despite his hardships.

I mentioned before that he has at the very least Borderline traits, maybe not the whole diagnosed disorder?

He definitely has PTSD. For obvious reasons.

He definitely has bipolar disorder. He goes from laughing and joking and building a thousand robots while hacking into like NASA with one hand or something for the lolz because he can’t slow down enough to focus on one thing…

To talking about how he’s useless and nobody and shouldn’t even exist, and feeling so down he can’t get a single thing done.

He’s another one who’s done fairly decently at learning to function around his issues. 

(I headcanon this is partially because he’s done a fair amount of research on them. He likes learning when he’s interested, and he understands the importance of mental health care. It’s just really hard to implement said self-care when you’re actively feeling depressed/manic.)

At the very least, he’s learned to survive through them.

I’m proud of him too.

Saeran:

Saeran is another very Not Neurotypical one.

I already discussed him having BPD.

(Edited after the Ray Route: I’m now 100% sure this is canon. There’s no way they didn’t intentionally write him with BPD at this point, right?)

And it’s obvious he has PTSD.

I forget if I mentioned anxiety? But that too.

We don’t have a lot of canon instances of Saeran interacting with anyone besides Saeyoung, but I headcanon he has social anxiety? In his case, the fear of social interaction can come off as anger/standoffishness when he’s distressed.

(I also headcanon both of the twins get panic attacks sometimes)

V:

He has many issues. Feeling responsible for everyone and everything, his low self-esteem, believing he deserves to suffer…

But while none of these are mentally healthy, I think they stem more from him being a victim of abuse than a mental illness.

He might have anxiety too (GAD, specifically)

And, of course, the PTSD that stemmed from previously mentioned abuse. 

This is the most obvious one, what with the withdrawing from his friends, being increasingly self-destructive, and his obvious constant stress.

Vanderwood:

I feel like they have OCD? Mild enough that they can usually hide it, since it’s a pretty big weakness to be advertising in their line of work, but it’s there. 

They have subtle “quirks”.

Small things that make them feel more in control.

Like… if one thing is off in a room it doesn’t just bug them, they literally have to fix it. Maybe not immediately, but they can’t just… leave it. They know that even if they leave the room it’ll literally ruin their day, if not their life.

(They may or may not have had to stop in the middle of a firefight to straighten a painting once. They did.)

It’s different if a whole room is a mess. They still want to clean it, but it’s weirdly less… urgent? They would definitely feel better if they could. They would feel even better if they could scrub down everything completely.

(You may have noticed that they wear gloves? Yeah they may or may not be somewhat of a germaphobe, too. They are. 

Funny enough though, their cleaning habits are not really related to this. They can deal with the germaphobia much better than they can deal with the messiness.)

They’re also a perfectionist, although they’ve learned that not everything can be perfect and can usually deal with that if they absolutely have to.

It’s still really hard though.

And when given the choice they would absolutely prefer absolute thoroughness in everything they do.
