damn i almost wish the intrepid heroes had done worse this episode because the concept is of this battle was epic as hell. i would have loved to see more of baron being creepy, a confrontation with jawbone and i would have loved to see the other players play baron

Would love to hear about the differences between the skull shapes, general locations, and colour palettes of all the coyote subspecies! Only if you would like to of course, as I understand there are a lot.
If there weren't so many I'd do them all but here's two of my favorite subspecies c:
Mearns' coyote (C. l. mearnsi) is a small subspecies located in the southwest (predominantly AZ) and often have this beautiful dark coloration.
The Northeastern coyote (C. l. thamnos) is a much larger subspecies on average and their skulls have a very unique shape compared to the other subspecies. They're located around the Great Lakes. The average color is the one shown below, but they often come in a red or blonde coloration.
These subspecies are often confused as hybrids due to their unique skull shapes. Mearns' on the left, the Plains coyote ("average" coyote) in the middle, and Northeastern on the right.
Mearns' are smaller with a more defined stop than the Plains coyote, while the Northeasterns are larger with more "wolf-like" features like wider zygomatics and larger mandibles.

Purely self indulgent but I think Astarion would be uncomfortable with Strike's body after the tadpoling. The guy is so horribly scarred, has bad muscle atrophy, and before the lobotomy, Astarion knew him only as an untouchable halfgod - must be difficult to see the evidence of his failures littered all over his ruined body.
They'd still have sex because manipulation and desperation between two people who never knew anything else leads to it, but I really like the thought that Astarion attempts to make it ~spontaneous and passionate~ as an excuse for Strike to keep his clothes mostly on and Ass can pretend that he didn't have to face his own mortality because the strongest person he thought he knew has so obviously been defeated.
Because i can see every other companion reacting in a neutral (Halsin, Wyll) or even positive (Lae'zel, Shart) way to the terrible state hes in, or at worst with concern (especially Karlach, sometimes Gale and Wyll), at least once he proves himself as a warrior even with his physhical limitations (sorcerer!), but Astarion just... I dunno. He is vain himself, and judgy, but I think he'd use those reasons to cover up how uneasy he feels with the great Bhaalspawn being so physhically ruined.

So everyone knows luigi's mansion. How you need to save poor brother Mario. Every time you come across him he just looks so not okay. But this, this beautiful image from the booklet just shows him SO perplexed. Like he's contemplating so hard, guess this is how it feels on the other side. Dudes not freaked or nothin just mildly disappointed and confused. Guy deals with evil mansions full of bad guys all the time and he just doesn't question the glowing green mansion that growls at passersby. He literally walked right into it. Lugi is never gonna let him live it down.

this is how the raise of the red hood could have been avoided: talia tells jason she will support it and provide him with resources once he gives her a fully articulated and sound explanation for his modus operandi & views on crime. drafts upon drafts get covered in her comments. “1. killing as the ultimate solution for crime or 2. you can’t stop crime, you can only control it. <- choose one.” “so are you saying your only problem with cops is that they don’t do their job well enough for your tastes?” “what do drugs have to do with any of that?” “now reiterate it without relying on batman’s theoretical framework” etc. etc.

So, with Lucy being a Frost Genasi but decscended from Giants, and the mess with Porter being called both a Goliath and an Earth Genasi at different times, I'm beginning to wonder if BLeeM has combined the two races in his head or something.

i do actually headcanon that angoulême had some friends spread throughout beauclair & throughout the sansretour valley. but they weren’t good friends. just… “i know a guy” type of deals. very golan drosdeck type of random association like. you’re nineteen. how do you know all of these people. idk. it’s a small criminal underworld after all. but like drosdeck she would have debts with all of them and none of them would be willing to help her and some still are looking to scam her. and despite her… ‘worldliness’, she is still quite naïve
