welcome to fall, everybody! as the weather gets colder, so may some of our loveable characters attitudes..

well well well.. lets start this off good you guys!!! im soooo excited for their new house and the new save file!!!

our family will be getting a little ‘revamp’ to their looks and outfits for this, i like to think of it as a budget revamp for the new season, lolz ^-^

well, except for sienna but shes a baby so that doesnt count LMAO buttt yeah!! this’ll prob be a lot of filler up until birthday time for our sims. ^-^

what's new in nordhaven? 🌿🛍️ beyond bloom save file update v3 | the sims 4

first, i want to extend a huge thank you to all the talented sims builders who allowed me to use their already built lots. thanks to their contributions, i was able to rebuild every single world, including the vacation worlds and the latest addition, nordhaven, from the business & hobbies expansion pack. this world is the biggest update in this version of the save file. ♡

- all the builders are listed in description box of the video!

about the save file:

♡ this save file is not pack restricted, there are many packs used in the creation of this save file, so keep that in mind!

♡ i created many new stories for the new but also old townies/families & i gave them new careers, skills & such. 

♡ there are also new holidays which you can enjoy and celebrate with your sims, but also new clubs where your sims can gather and hang out!

strangerville mystery solved

♡ this save file is based on the beyond bloom save file, where the strangerville mystery is solved, and the town is back to normal. i thought this was the best approach, but if you want to redo the whole strangerville story, you can always awaken the mother plant.

Hannibal x Reanimator crossover

- I've been wanting to do a crossover for a while, and while I was re-watching Hannibal to find a good scene to redraw with Hannigram, I honestly felt like the lines ( and Hannibal being in prison ) would work so well with beyond Dan and Herbert.

SPOILERS TO VALLEYDREAM BLOOM AND SYLUS' MYTH AHEAD!

I saw your ask @larailorelei and knew that I had to do a deeper dive into his lore to figure out who the dragon skeleton was. I instantly played the memory and paid detailed attention to everything in it. And from what I have deducted from all my research, I think that the dragon skeleton is Sylus' mother's.

Here's why it couldn't be Sylus' dragon-form skeleton:-

From the myth Beyond Cloudfall, we got to know that Sylus basically faded into dust after MC killed him. And while the skeleton being Sylus' is an excellent argument, it isn't possible because of this thing that I found in Valleydream Bloom.

Sylus says that a dragon that awaits its death goes to a flower-covered valley, away from its kin, and dies when flowers have bloomed out of every bone in its body. First of all, Sylus died in Taurus City and disintegrated right in front of MC, and this has been made very clear. But then again, Sylus knew of the dragon's curse and could've flown to a specific valley in Taurus city and died there but THEN AGAIN not possible because I think we've had enough knowledge that Sylus hasn't reincarnated because in his anecdotes, it's mentioned that Sylus has seen MC when she was a child so that squashes down the rumors of his rebirth and ultimately that Dragon Sylus left behind his skeleton.

Here's why it couldn't be MC's dragon-form skeleton:-

I think that the companion for Abysm Sovereign Sylus is often called Sorceress and is known among us Sylus girlies as Sorceress MC. She is not a dragon, just a human so I think it leans more towards being impossible of the dragon skeleton being hers. Also, MC was imprisoned (I'm not entirely sure, I have to go through the last part of the myth) after Dragon Sylus died, so she can't go anywhere except where she is caged.

HERE IS WHY I THINK THE DRAGON-FORM SKELETON IS SYLUS' MOTHER (or father but that possibility is lower):-

Everyone has seen that one speculation stating that the dragon skeleton is his mother's and the nest used to be baby Sylus' cradle. And believe me, I myself was questioning that until I read between all the gaps in Valleydream Bloom. The dragon skeleton being Sylus' mother's is the closest theory and here's why:

At the beginning of Valleydream Bloom, MC sees Sylus read a mythological book about dragons. She later finds out a few things after reading the same book.

The mythological book Sylus is reading is titled 'A Hidden Realm's Fragments: The Dragon's Vanished Kingdom'. It could be that Sylus is reading about his kin since he was the last fiend alive and had no proper idea (I think?) of dragons like him since they were all slain. MC mentions that he often reads history books so it's off-putting to see him read a mythological one. And I'd like to share that if one can't find what they are looking for in history, they tend to opt for mythological books because sometimes they just turn out to be true (I try to think that this mindset is what Sylus has while reading).

Secondly, when MC reads the book, she comes across the description of a place being alluded to dragon's existence. Also, let's not forget that what MC read isn't the entire book but probably a page or two because Sylus came back soon, and it'd take much longer to finish an entire book. And with this, I'm assuming that there are more places like this dragon skeleton valley where the remains of his kind's existence could be found.***( Coming back to this at the end)

NEXT, Tara tells MC that the castle had been abandoned for years but was bought recently by an anonymous buyer. Tara also says that it wouldn't serve as a tourist spot but could be a good place to hoard treasures. And what does treasure remind you of...? THAT'S RIGHT, DRAGON SYLUS (once again confirming that this man never underwent reincarnation since he still has his memories intact like Xavier, for example)

But the question is what is the supposed treasure in this castle? The skeleton is the only thing prominent here and mind you, Sylus is a bit of a self-loather so this once again reduces the possibility of the skeleton being his and increases the possibility of it being a loved ones'.

When MC asks Sylus what he was doing in the castle during the wanderer games, he never actually directly answers that if I remember correctly. Although it is stated here that he is the new owner of this castle and he never buys anything without a purpose. Also, it is mentioned by MC that Sylus might've had a hand in driving the Hunter's association to uncover the illegal activity because once it is cleared by the association, Sylus won't have any trouble in managing it. This is all canon in the memory, I forgot to take ss because I was salivating at my man, sry.

Sylus doesn't give a proper reason for buying the castle, but it can be guessed that it is probably because he's been trying to track all those locations in the book and keep it away from the world.

Moving on,

When MC first sees the dragon skeleton, she describes it as having become a cradle for the blooming flowers. A CRADLE!!!!! While this could be metaphorical as well, we all know Paperfold for long enough to be aware of hiding the LaDS myth spoilers in small metaphors like these. Once again, solidifying it being his mother's skeleton.

In the second photo here, MC says that she'll imagine a little dragon sleeping peacefully in his flower-covered lair and first of all, 🥺 and secondly, the little dragon could be hinting at baby Sylus resting in the small nest near his mother's remains which ISN'T abysm myth accurate. STAY WITH ME FAM, THINGS ARE GONNA GET JUICY NOW.

Sylus says that MC is probably envisioning that little dragon's dreams after viewing the scenery around (the flying flower petals). And we all KNOW about MC and her vivid but unreal dreams (I'm looking at the kiss that she imagined and I'm NOT ok). This, for me, heavily implies the fact that the dragon skeleton is his mother's. Also, Sylus seems to be speaking in affirmation that MC has been carried to this dragon's dreams which could mean that Sylus once dreamt of a time where he could rest by his mother's side in her makeshift nest 🥺🥺🥺 FCK INFOLD I'M SOBBING ON A CORPORATE FRIDAY

The last thing I'd like to shed light on is that as they make their way back to the castle a mysterious mist separates them from the world that they just saw. Sylus' powers are often described by MC as a red-black mist so could it be that the mist enveloping the valley is Sylus' powers hiding the dragon remains from the rest of the world?

If you read all of this, you can start to understand why I'm thinking of the dragon skeleton being his mother's.

But there's one reason why it also can't be his mother's skeleton:-

Sylus is said to be the last of his kind in the myth and that all the other dragons have been slain. This contradicts our theory that Sylus' mother came to rest in this valley as she awaited her end. BUT BUT BUT it could also be that Sylus' mother was brutally injured and escaped to this valley since she knew she was about to die. This could also be applied to the rest of his kin who could've fled to their valleys as their resting place which ultimately resulted in that place having dragon remains.***

ADDITIONAL THEORY***

Existence of more of Sylus' kin's remains:-

I want you all to remember the red asterisk marks I put above and reread that before coming back here. When MC reads the mythological book, we assume that she's only able to read a section of it considering that Sylus returns soon after and reading an entire collection of mythological stories of dragons would take longer. A Hidden Realm's Fragments: The Dragon's Vanished Kingdom': is the name of the book, and trust me, the title seems to speak a lot for itself. At the end of the memory: Valleydream Bloom, Sylus says that he'll take MC to all the rest of the worlds like this. WHICH could imply that there are more places in the world where the remains of 'a dragon's vanished kingdom' could be found. More places with the slain dragon remains of his kin. Once again, this is a theory with a lesser possibility since this is only possible if his kin escaped to their flower-covered valleys, injured due to the mortal's attacks and then took their last breaths there.

Conclusion:-

In my opinion, I strongly believe that the dragon skeleton is his mother's since it has more nods towards it than doubts. Though I am just another player with a wild mind, so feel free to share your view on this theory and add on to it.

So we crawl out of bed the day after New Year's Eve (during which we stayed up till 2:30 in the morning) and I find these two drunken assholes on my couch. 

I say drunk and not hungover because they were still sloshed in the morning when we got up for breakfast, which means they'd been drinking from 2:30 am ‘till about 9:30 am. Considering their bodies looked about as liquefied as their brain cells, I don't think they stopped drinking that entire time.

But man, can Blitz hold his liquor! As soon as we made our breakfast, he wanted to wish his new fans on Tumblr a Happy New Year. Given the fact that I think he'd been drinking for seven straight hours (because all of the champagne in the house we had bought for New Year's and didn't use was gone), that is kind of a Goddam miracle that he could form a coherent sentence, let alone not be dead from liver poisoning.

So Happy New Year from these two idiots.
